tysm for the ask! enjoy some ramblings about myself in my clone wars reality 🍊 ( and a huge thank you to layla for this lovely parallel self ask game ! )

🍓 : SAPPY STRAWBERRY . . . what makes you sappy and all nostalgic? listening to a song you once played one too many times? a movie about the underdog saving the day? seeing older couples walking down the street?

i am painfully sappy. everything has a little bit of beauty in it and i love trying to discover new hidden gems as i go through life— one could say its a talent. growing up force sensitive and being encouraged to build connections rather than fearing it really did a number on how i view and interact with the world (in a good way of course). everything has its own force signature and some just stick out more strongly to me, sometimes at random times. sometimes i’ll see another jedi feeding the animals outside of the temple and instantly want to cry at how kind the gesture is, or i’ll see a stranger buy a piece of fruit for a kid in a market. there are so many moments where im reminded of the goodness at the core of existing, even when things are dark, and it fills my heart and soul with so much hope. those are the moments that make me feel sappy and nostalgic; it reminds me of being a little girl laying by the beach on my home planet and hearing the force just hum around me. it is so lovely and comforting to know that even in the darkest hours of the galaxy, there is so much love and compassion existing in the hearts of those who reside within it.

🎀 : CLASSIC BOW . . . what do you love about life? do you love hearing the morning birds singing to you as you sit on the porch? do you enjoy partying too much and not remembering it in the morning? or maybe just hanging out with the people you love?

i am a breakfast lover to my CORE. my morning routine in my tcw reality is one of my favorite things about life there, especially on my home planet. i usually wake up and have a little snack before meditating + stretching outside, since it helps ground me and prepare me for the day ahead. after, i have a bigger breakfast and some tea before setting off to open my shop! one of the things i love about my work there is being able to meet and chat with so many different people, everyone has a unique story to tell and a unique energy signature within the force. most of the time, people come in looking for a quick cup of tea but stay longer to chat about life, browse the books in the back of the shop, or simply enjoy the quiet and ambiance. i’ve met so many people from all walks of life and learned so much from each one, it’s a gift to be able to connect and bond with someone new each day. west and our other friends drop in occasionally, but since west is (usually) up and about before i am in the mornings, we catch up at the end of the day. i love the days when he picks me up from work or has dinner ready for us at home, it makes me want to giggle and kick my feet. honestly i just love how deeply interconnected i am with the world around me in my tcw reality, it is such a profoundly special feeling.

🐚 : QUICK SHELL . . . okay, just a quick fire of a few questions. favorite inside joke? what food combination do you love but other people think is strange? how do you feel about surprises? do you live a more analytical or creative lifestyle? if you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?

favorite inside joke is between me + west: he used to eat crushed ice for fun when we first started dating. when he gets on my nerves or we have a disagreement, i give him a cup of ice chunks instead of crushed ice as a little petty joke. it’s more of a way to lighten the mood between us (or “break the ice”)…

i don’t have a lot of weird food combinations, but sometimes the tea + syrup drink blends i make cause people to question my sanity. obviously they are still delicious, but it takes some convincing.

i like surprises when they are executed correctly, like a gift or small gathering of friends— i tend not to do very well with changes in my routine and structure, so as long as i can rebound after i’m good!

i tend to balance creativity and analysis; being force sensitive means i need to rely on my connection to the force and my intuition with logic and analysis when necessary. if i had to describe myself in three words, it would be intuitive, curious, and grounded.

Rambling about f/o ask game, I wanted to answer a bunch of them so I just typed it out

🍓 - disregarding the career your f/o currently has, what other career would they consider going into, if given the chance?

The career field he's going into is anthropology, or more specifically dance anthropology. Through promoting its research, teaching etc. But he would love to be a volcanologist. He's just not a very science-oriented person (like me) but he looks into it in his free time.

🍎 - what's your f/o's favorite drink? any drink, alcoholic or non alcoholic!

Warm milk... from his hometown's ranches.

🍉 - is your f/o religious? what's their opinion on religion or spirituality?

He's not religious but he pays respects to the tapu pokemon or more specifically tapu lele of Akala, as well as to the volcano. And being Hawaiian of course trusting in 'aumakua or ancestral spirits.

🍑 - is your f/o more comfortable giving or receiving gifts? why? do they have any preferences on gifts they like receiving?

Like me he doesn't need materialistic things, but he treasures gifts with personal or cultural value. He's more comfortable giving, he doesn't do it often though. He shows care through acts of service and looking out for people.

🍊 - if you asked your f/o to peel an orange for you, what would they do?

He would peel it nicely!! He does cut fruits for his family and he would peel an orange well.

🍍 - if you could change any one thing about your f/os backstory/character, what would you change? why?

Apart from having his name be Keawe in the first place, hm... I'd like for his character in the games to mention his grandfather and his relationship with his family more, and include his sister which they only added in the anime.

Also, I know he can be a professional fire dancer in Alola without going abroad,

So I would change his ambition to be broader and professionally learn the dances of the world, which aligns with my hc of him being interested in dance anthropology.

🍋 - if your f/o could change one thing about themselves, what would they change and why?

Perhaps a better outcome between his parents wanting him to take over the ranch and their uncertainties about his dance ambitions. They like that he does it as a passion but going into this as a job? Well he's on the right track to making it happen but there's still some mild tensions. The question is more specific about his person though... although he has his moments of dysphoria as a trans man (but rarely now as he grows older), I don't think he'd change his transition journey.

🫒 - what kind of hugger is your f/o? do they give good hugs? do they like hugs? do they like receiving hugs?

He isss a good hugger. He likes to hug his little sister but she's starting to outgrow it and doesnt want to be hugged. He doesn't actively want to receive hugs but if he does he appreciates it and returns it strongly but gently. Sadly I'm not the kind to start hugs. One of my favourite parts of him is his arms though...

🍏 - if you have any queer headcanons for your f/o, how did they realize they were queer?

🍇 - if you and your f/o never met, what do you think your f/o would be doing right now?

Still trying his hardest to realise his ambitions. He'd end up in the same place either way becuz he's passionate and dedicated. The difference is the company and solace in someone else who shares a passion like that. He wouldn't think he was missing anything. He'd still go about his trial duties and training and personal studies.

🥥 - what hobbies does your f/o have? is there any hobby they would like to get into that they haven't tried out yet? what is it?

He likes to read up on cultural dances from around the world and watch videos on them to learn them. He also works out in his room if he has the time. And he loves to meditate at the volcano trial site. Just sit there and close his eyes. He also enjoys simply watching the pokemon on the ranch and the people tending to them. He has a view of that from his window. Since knowing wren he'd love to try more visual art but he's not the best in that medium of art. He can sew, so he's thinking of trying out embroidery.

🍅 - if your f/o could buy you any gift in the world, whether it exists or not, what would they buy you? or, if they could make you something, what would it be?

He would obtain feathers from Ho-oh to gift to Wren...

🌽 - does your f/o have a favorite animal? what is it? are they scared of any animals?

His favourite pokemon is alolan marowak, his partner pokemon. As for a real life animal, the ʻiʻiwi. Even before knowing wren, he loved this bird and other hawaiian birds. He's not scared of any animals.

🥒 - what's your f/o afraid of? do they have any phobias? anything minor they're scared of?

Not a major fear, but he's not a fan of deep water when it's dark. If it's in the daytime he's fine.

🥬 - what are some beige flags your f/o has? so, not bad, but not necessarily good either. just. "oh. you do This."

He would shower once in the evening, and after working on the ranch/training and sweating, he would go to bed without showering again

🫛 - how does your f/o feel about pet names or nicknames? do they like them? hate them? what are their favorites and least favorites to be called and to use?

He likes them but he doesn't outright say that. I would call him Ki. I wouldn't really use pet names except 'Dear' (my parents used it with each other sometimes) and he would use that too. On occasion if we write to each other he'd use 'Ku`u Lei' (my lei, meaning my beloved) and I'd use '亲爱的' (beloved)
