It's nice to see Bonnie this carefree for once. Actually free of cares. Floribeth watches as Bonnie throws her head back and laughs in a way that Floribeth hasn't heard in a while.

"---you got a favorite dessert?" She can't remember whether or not she's asked it before, but even if she has, it doesn't matter, because even people with the sweetest teeth (aka yours truly) need a refresher every so often.

Floribeth's absolutely got Caroline pegged, Bonnie thinks, her smile deepening. "As if she hasn't already got hundreds." It's an agreement and a tease, and the affection clear in her tone belies the fact that Bonnie's got them all plus her own on her phone. But then she's Trudy's mom and she figures she's allowed.

"Dessert!" Bonnie throws her head back and can't help the laugh that falls out of her mouth. She is undoubtedly excited now, the thought of hanging out with her friend - kid-free for a few hours, and generally the thought would make her feel guilty but not with the other woman. Not when Floribeth's reminded her that she's not just Trudy's mom, she's also Bonnie, and she doesn't need to lose herself into one role. She's almost done that before and Trudy saved her from it. Now to be the best version of herself for Trudy, she needs to take some time for herself.
