I’m not sure who needs to hear this but it’s normal and okay to be DISABLED by your DISABILITY.
Sometimes it is going to stop you from doing things, and that’s okay. Sometimes it’s going to get in your way or make you struggle or cause problems in your life. But that’s okay, that’s why it’s called a disability.
You don’t need to fight yourself or “not let it hold you back” because a lot of times it will, but that’s the point.

Apparently the first hurricane since 1939 is expected to make landfall in California this weekend. It’s expected that an entire year’s worth of rain will fall in 24-48hrs. Don’t you love climate change?

you see, daenerys trying to abolish slavery makes her exactly like her evil slavemongering ancestors. because she uses violence. and violence is bad. using violence to tear down oppressive systems makes you as bad as the oppressors. good virtuous people just sit down and suffer prettily. if you really must then you can maaaybe try to appeal to the sensibilities of the people whose privileges depend on you being exploited and dehumanized. if that doesn't work then... bummer! do NOT fight back tho. don't EVER raise a hand towards the masters holding the whip or else you are EVIL and even worse than the ones oppressing you.

One of the funniest things about AK is still Rosmontis' codename.
You see, they really wanted to hammer home the rosemary motif, as rosemary stands for remembrance and can also strengthen brain connections, thus stimulating memory. The scientific name for the rosemary plant is Ros marinus, meaning "dew of the sea".
So why is she named Rosmontis, instead of Rosmarinus (or perhaps Rosmarina)?
Well, we all know what the sea stands for in Terra, don't we. Most bodies of water there are "fake seas" as the real seas are...well, the Seaborn are there and many people thus fear the sea. The sea bears negative connotations for most.
Which is likely why they instead opted to go for "mountains" instead of "sea". Which makes "Ros montis", aka..."Dew of the Mountains".
Rosmontis is literally named "Mountain Dew".

Oh so now it’s ok to say and discuss that C3’s narrative had pacing issues and isn’t sticking the landing. Now it’s not “anti-intellectual” complaints from people who just can’t grasp the true meaning of the plot.
Not earlier when the issues with that narrative cropped up with the Whitestone resurrection visit bringing a prior campaign back too early in the story. Not earlier with the frustrating lack of engagement with the regular people of Exandria or established lore around the endlessly circular god question. Not earlier with the lack of payoff to significant character development moments that had promise and then saw those characters almost immediately revert, but now. It was mean and wrong and BAD to say it before but it isn’t now. Because people’s blorbos aren’t getting a dedicated talkback show.
Ok.
