What does this seemingly disparate list of women have in common, you may ask? I knew that all of them were queer before they officially "came out." But before that, so many (straight) people said I was "crazy," "projecting," "wishful thinking," and Lauren's favorite word, "delusional." Yet in every single case listed above, I got the last laugh. Trust me, there's much more where that came from.

The truth is, gaydar is real. Queer women can just sense when a celebrity is one of us, even when we have to wait YEARS to be proven right. Take the US women's soccer team, for example. Tobin Heath and Christen Press only JUST explicitly confirmed their relationship, but queer USWNT fans had suspected since 2015-2016. Same with Ali Krieger and Ashlyn Harris before them. Although they're no longer together, fans could tell they were a couple since the early 2010s despite them not coming out until 2019. And if social media as we know it today had existed in the time of the Spice Girls, I'm sure we would have figured out that Mel B and Geri Halliwell were a thing.

Whenever my gaydar "fails," it's because a celeb I thought was straight turns out to be queer (think Lili Reinhart and Ashley Benson), never the other way around. Over the years, I've learned to trust my instincts, which is why I'm as confident as I can possibly be about Taylor and Camila. You or anyone else have the right to believe that they've been straight this whole time, but I personally cannot wait to add them to the list above one day.

Lauren has been waiting in her house for the past hour. When she arrived, she expected you to be here with her or a little bit later but it’s been far too long now. This was making her worried about you, scared that something may have happened to you. Lauren has texted and called you and no answer, making her more pissed than ever. It was hours later and the thanksgiving dinner with Lauren’s family was over and she was beyond bummed.

She was on her parents couch when she heard a knock on the door. Lauren jumped up and rushed to the door to see you standing there, out of breath, holding a bouquet of Lauren’s favorite flowers. Lauren gave you a glare and dragged you inside making you whimper. “What the fuck y/n! I was worried sick about you!” She exclaimed making you frown. “You didn’t get my texts? I was at my family’s thanksgiving dinner. I told them I was going to yours but they really wanted me to stay with them and since I haven’t seen certain family members in a while I thought I could stay for a bit but I didn’t expect to stay so long Lolo im so sorry.” You explained to her and she nodded her head slowly.

“I got so scared and I thought you were out cheating on me.” She said quietly and you felt your eyes bulge out of your head. “What?! Lauren jauregui.” You said sternly as you tilted her chin down and looked deep in her green eyes. “I would never ever do that to you, but I do understand where your head went but I wouldn’t do that. I’m too in love with you to do that to you.” You reassure her and she gives you a big smile making your heart skip a beat. “Why don’t the both of us have our very own thanksgiving dinner together?” You suggested Lauren’s smile grew bigger.

“That’s a great idea! I can get some leftovers from my mom.” Lauren said and you nodded your head. “I got some leftovers from my family too.” You said and Lauren giggled happily as she went to the kitchen and got some food from her mom. The two of you got in the car and drove to y’all’s home where the two of you had your own little thanksgiving dinner and it was the best night ever.

oh boy… it’s not an exact comparison, but i would implore anon to do some research on camren from fifth harmony 😭 their fans were/are just about as obsessive and delusional as larries. the “cultural impact” or whatever is not the same (but 5h was not 1d - despite both groups being products of Cowell/X factor. though there have been several admittances of “attempting to recreate 1d” with 5h…), but lauren jauregui has been subjected to the same kind of vitriol and abuse from camren believers that louis has been subjected to by larries.

lauren’s family & friends were harassed & doxxed… the burden of denial (& subsequent media + fan backlash & “homophobia” accusations) fell to her while camila has been largely silent on the matter, which seems to lend camila the “interesting” quality of sexual ambiguity/fluidity in her solo career…. some of the personal photos that fans leaked of lauren’s effectively outed her to the world (perez hilton can rot) and forced her to release a statement saying that she was straight. she came out as bisexual in 2016 in response to Trump’s presidency.

her coming out has pretty much disproved the allegations of homophobia (though fans still claim internalized homophobia is the reason why she was so angry back in the day - certainly not because they were harassing her/her family/friends & trying to out her on a regular basis!), but - similarly to louis - she has been open about how the entire theory has affected her, her life, and her relationships. she said as recently as 2020 that it “traumatized” her, made her “disgustingly uncomfortable”, and portrayed her in a manner that made her question her own identity & how she conducted herself around other women.

i think the other anon has the right idea but wrong overall analysis - the question of whether larry or camren were “real” or not is altogether irrelevant when individuals from both of these fan pairings have made it very clear that it has hurt them and continues to hurt them in some capacity. the desire to prove or disprove either is something that should’ve died out a long time ago, but fanbases cannot always be reasoned with i suppose.

It was supposed to be a regular party. That was what Toralei was trying to tell herself. A normal party with her friends. Simple.

Except it was far from that. Far from simple. It was Clawd's idea to throw the Halloween party, Draculara and Frankie had gone all around campus inviting people and reminding everyone to wear costumes, and somewhere along the way she found herself slipping more and more from a costume to just a regular skimpy outfit. She did need some sort of traction.

"Are you almost done?" Purrsephone asks, putting her eyeliner down. She's in all black with a white star on her left eye. Meowlody laughs and shakes her head, she's laying on Toralei's bed.

"Please, she's gonna take forever. Especially since Clawde-"

"Can you not?" Toralei asks, rolling her eyes. She puts red in her waterline before standing up, rubbing her lips together to smooth out the purple lipstick she'd put on. The two girls gave each other a look before Purrsephone laughs.

"Oh look, she posted. She's with a guy." Purrsephone says, holding her Icoffin to Toralei and Meowlody. Meowlody purrs and gets closer to the screen, running her tongue over her teeth.

"Wow, she moves on fast." Meowlody says. Toralei stays quiet, choosing peace over idiocy. A month ago at a party, Toralei and Clawdeen had gotten into an argument in front of people. It was seven minutes in heaven, and Toralei had made a comment about how she 'refused' to go into some closet with Clawdeen. The two argued in the closet for a whole three minutes before giving up. It took another seven to actually get them out of the closet, and by the looks of the two they definitely weren't just arguing. It'd been a running joke among the Hissfits girls.

"Oh please, it was a stupid game." Toralei says, walking over to her closet to get her jacket. She was in a red dress, with black fur heels. The dress stopped mid thigh, but was tight nonetheless. She had gone with inspiration from a normie singer, David Bowie, but changing the colors to red and purple instead of red and blue.

Meowlody grabbed her car keys and walked past Toralei, leaving the room to start the car.

"Just so you know," Purrsephone says, slinging her purse over her shoulder, " You won't be able to focus with her there." She says, walking out of the room. Toralei doesn't answer, instead she opts for staying silent and pulling her phone out of her coat pocket.

" You know your brother's gonna get you wasted right?" She asked, and Clawdeen just laughed, leaning in Draculara.

"Oh hell yeah, but I need this." She said, just as he slid a cup over to her. She lifted the cup to her lips, attempting to take it all in one shot, when she saw Toralei walk in. She felt her chest tighten, her throat went dry despite the alcohol flooding through her.

She forced herself to finish the drink, slamming the cup onto the counter. Everyone around her cheered as Clawd lifted his drink to try and outdo her. Clawdeen peeled Draculara off her, handing her the cup. "Play for me." Clawdeen said, and Draculara just nodded to her. Clawdeen pushed her way out of the crowd of people, trying to make her way over to Toralei.

"Hey T-"

"Clawdeen!" Frankie called, waving at Clawdeen. Clawdeen sighed, and looked at Toralei who just smiled to her. "I'm so glad you could make it." Frankie said, pulling Clawdeen into a hug.

"Uh, Hey Frankie I was just-"

" Oh don't worry, I saw you drinking and wow you can really drink a lot." Frankie said, and Toralei just laughed. Frankie was dressed as their mom, black and white hair sticking back in curls with a long white dress.

"Yeah Frankie that's great and all but I kinda need to talk to Toralei." Clawdeen said, and Frankie's eyes went wide, now realizing how much they'd intruded.

"Oh right right, sorry, I'll let you two be." Frankie said, awkwardly smiling and pushing Clawdeen and Toralei together.

"So, what are you supposed to-"

"Meet me upstairs, five minutes, last door to the right." Clawdeen said, and Toralei felt her stomach do backflips. She knew that tone, she knew what it meant.

She doesn't know how long she's been in this room. It felt like hours but it was really on a few minutes. Toralei had forgotten how rough Clawdeen was when she was upset about something; upset with her.

"Ah...clawdeen, please just, c-calm down." Toralei said, feeling Clawdeens teeth lighting nip at her throat.

"Calm down? You got some nerve." She said her thumbs digging into Toralei's hips, lighting grinding into her. Clawdeen spoke against her skin, trailing her kisses lower. "You don't answer more for an hour, show up in this, and you want me to calm down?" She asks against her collarbone, pushing the jacket Toralei had been wear farther down her arms.

"W-well it's not like you were exactly alone." Toralei quipped back, causing Clawdeen to stop. She pulled back, looking down at her.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Clawdeen asked, and Toralei swallowed nervously.

"Well, Draculara was all over you..." She trailed off, hoping Clawdeen had gotten the hint, and oh she had.

Her hands traveled further down Toralei's torso, moving to the hem of her dress and pushing her legs apart.

"So someone's jealous." Clawdeen says, her hands pushing up her thighs.

"No, I'm not-" Toralei stops, her hand moving to cover her mouth once she feels Clawdeens fingers rubbing over the panties, which are now almost entirley soaked through.

"Mmm, maybe you're not, but you're definitely enjoying this." She said, sliding the fabric to the side to slip her fingers in, which didn't take much effort either. Toralei arches into her, a silent beg for more only Clawdeen knows how to read, and she gives in, letting the palm of her hand bump just right against her.

"Clawdeen..." The whine is muffled by her hand, and Clawdeen contemplates forcing her to move it, but decides against it. She doesn't want to get caught, not yet at least.

"You did this to yourself,” She said, pulling her fingers back. Toralei removed her hand from her mouth, panting a bit. “ I mean, you did hurt my feelings, really bad.” Clawdeen said. Only then was when Toralei had noticed it. Clawdeen was wearing a choker, and right in the middle was a letter T, in silver.

“I’m sorry.” She said, and she meant it. Clawdeen stared at her for a minute, almost letting the words sink in.

“I’m sure you are.” She said before leaning down to kiss her. It was hot, and there were so many emotions Toralei couldn’t wrap her mind around it.

They weren’t together, not officially. So she shouldn’t really be feeling this way about Clawdeen. But when she gets like this, how could she not? Clawdeen pulls away, her lips are plumper? his lipstick is gone, mixed with Toralei’s. Toralei moves to reach forward, but Clawdeen pushes her hand away.

"You stay right there, and don't move." Clawdeen says. Toralei's body shakes as she feels Clawdeen lean forward, her lips ghosting over her neck, her breath fanning across the skin. Toralei releases quiet whimpers, fighting the urge to mesh her legs together. There's a tingling sensation running down her spine, her excitement getting the best of her when she arches slowly into Clawdeen's kiss on her collarbone. Clawdeen notices, but doesn't pull away from her. Clawdeen's hands run up her sides, cupping her breasts. Toralei sighs, leaning into her touch, wanting more, craving more. But the dress doesn't come off, and that makes Toralei frustrated.

This time, Clawdeen brings her closer, her hands on her waist. It's hotter than before, and the more Clawdeen pulls away the more Toralei chases her, quick kisses turning into making out.

"Please don't leave me like this." Toralei says, kissing her again, more desperate. "Please, I missed you." She says, but Clawdeen doesn't answer. Instead she kisses her harder, teeth clashing and lips parted. Clawdeen keeps her hands around Toralei as she moves back to sit on the bed, this time leaving Toralei standing.

Lauren Jauregui On Dinah Shore Weekend, Self-Love, & What’s Upcoming

The Club Skirts Dinah Shore Weekend, the world’s largest event and music festival for queer women, will return September 25-29 at the Margaritaville Resort in Palm Springs, which was famous in the 1960s for its role as celebrity central, drawing the likes of Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Lucille Ball, Marilyn Monroe, Sonny and Cher, and more.

Also simply known as The Dinah, this year will mark the annual extravaganza’s 33rd anniversary, and over 15,000 people are expected to attend throughout the weekend. Since its founding in 1991 by Mariah Hanson, The Dinah has made a lasting impact not only on the LGBTQ+ community, but the entertainment industry as well. Keeping her eye on the music scene, Hanson continues to secure a stunning line-up of high-profile headlining acts and up-and-coming talent.

Celebrating the power of queer expression, this year’s roster will include Iniko, Lauren Sanderson, King Mala, Whitney Peyton, Sherrelle Holmes, Lucy & La Mer, and Lauren Jauregui, whom Instinct recently had the opportunity to connect with. Rising to prominence as a member of Fifth Harmony, one of the best-selling girl groups of all time, Jauregui will kick off The Dinah’s Black and White Ball.

The multi-platinum artist took some time to share her excitement about performing at The Dinah, as well as her passion for queer activism, embracing self-love, and upcoming projects.

Hi, Lauren! Thank you for taking some time to chat with me. How excited are you to perform at this year’s Dinah Shore Weekend?

I am so excited! I’ve heard so many great things about The Dinah, and I’ve never personally been yet. Not only do I get to attend the event, but perform as well, I am over the freaking moon!

Would you say this has kind of been a goal of yours?

You know, I hadn’t really thought about it as a goal. It’s just such a vital an amazing event for queer culture.

You are helping to kick off the festival by playing at one of its main events, the Black and White Ball. Can you give us a hint as to what attendees can expect from your set?

I don’t want to ruin the surprise, but you can definitely expect dancing and live vocals, baby!

Besides performing, what else are you looking forward to the most about this event?

Just being in the space and being in the atmosphere that The Dinah creates. I’m going to be around a bunch of beautiful women, and I mean, what more could I ask for? (Laughs). 

Would you say festivals like The Dinah are still very much necessary today?

Absolutely. I think that queer spaces in all formats are vital for our community, especially with all the crazy political things going on right now. We as a community have been kind of devalued for so long, so I think when we come together to create our own spaces that shines a light onto our value, spaces that are for us and by us, I think they’re so special. They definitely need to be preserved. 

Have you always had a passion for LGBTQ+ activism and being outspoken for queer issues?

Honestly, I think it kind of came when I accepted myself. I think when you embody who you are, you automatically become an advocate for things. For me, it’s very much about the realities that face our community and being a part of it. I feel like it’s deeply about shining a light on that, being in camaraderie with one another, and strengthening the movement for all my rights in that sense.

What do you always hope audiences take away from your music?

I love when someone listens to my music and they can resonate with what I’m talking about, for their own reasons. If my music played a role in helping them feel a little less alone in this world, that means the world to me.

As we all know, you rose to prominence as a member of Fifth Harmony, one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. Did you ever imagine that would lead you to where you are today?

Of course not! I was 16 at the time when all that happened to me, so I couldn’t possibly imagine the whirlwind it would take on me, but I’m very grateful for it. I’ve connected with so many people across the world, and it opened doors for me to be able to create my own music. 

What would you say was one of your absolute favorite Fifth Harmony moments?

Oh, man. There were a lot. We had so many incredible moments, but probably when we won our VMA. That was so crazy. Being up on that stage, I just kept thinking, what the heck is my life?

When you decided to move forward with a solo career, was that challenging?

No, I believe I was ready for it at the time. I’ve been very passionate about music and writing my whole life, so getting to actualize my own creative vision, I was incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to start doing that. 

You released your first solo EP, Prelude, in 2021, and your second, In Between, in 2023. Any word on an official debut album or tour?

Lauren Jauregui: Yes! I’m currently working on my debut album, but I have no idea when it will be released. It does have soul, so it’s definitely a reality (laughs). 

You’ve dabbled in everything from pop and R&B to reggaeton and alternative. What sounds can we expect to hear from you next?

I think this debut album is going to be a combination of all of the above. I like learning to draw different elements in and create a cohesive piece. I believe that is where I’m at right now.

I am very much in love with your single “Burning,” which you described as ‘an ode to my queerness and the unapologetic nature with which I embrace it regardless of my Catholic upbringing.’ There are millions of people out there who have struggled with their faith and accepting their true, authentic selves. Do you mind talking about your journey with this?

I grew up Catholic, so there was a very profound implication that queerness was evil and of Satan, So, I think for a long time, that hindered my ability to recognize it within myself. When I was younger, I didn’t even think about liking women. I always thought women were beautiful, and I’d think, wow, she’s gorgeous or I’m so inspired by her, but I never really thought of it more than that until, ironically, I attended a Catholic high school. It was an all-girls school, so I kind of fell in love with my best friend. I was like, oh, I guess I do have feelings for women. That was surely an experience for me, but I would say I never really took religion super seriously. I’ve always been very intellectually driven, and I’m very spiritual as well, so I am very connected with a God essence, angels, and my ancestors. I’m very much connected to that, but I’m not very connected to the idea of institutionalized religion. I feel like it’s been used by men for centuries to subject queer people, women, and basically anyone who’s not them into submission. I don’t believe in that. I’m more free with with my concept of God, and I’m grateful for that.

How do you plan to continue staying true and authentic through your craft?

I’m just going to continue following my insights on who I am as a person and what I love. I’m very committed to my values and making art. First and foremost, it’s how I process life, and it’s how I’m able to make sense of my inner world. Second, to share that with people so they can see themselves within it or help them understand their own lives better, that’s the reward of it all. So, I’m going to stick to that formula and it will lead me where I’m destined. 

What does the rest of 2024 look like for you?

It is very much about locking in people around me who are going to help me amplify this dream, and very much about dedicating myself to my mind, body, and spirit. I’ve spent a lot of time in this life in my head and away from feeling embodied in this body, but I’ve healed a lot of the traumas that led to that. Now, I’m falling in love with myself in a new and more authentic way.

What are some other future goals you hope to accomplish with your career and platform?

I want to do it all, baby! I want to be in arenas, award shows – all the things people love to do. 

Before we wrap up, are there any other upcoming projects or anything else you’d like to mention or plug?

Not in particular. I’m very focused right now on getting this album done, and as soon as it’s ready and packaged, it will be yours!

If nothing actually happened between them like we thought, do you think the only reason they’re so distant now -for years actually- is because of larry/larries? I know they’ve said they still talk from time to time but I don’t really believe it tbh. Do I think fans played a part? Yep but still I think there’s more into that. It kinda gives “situationship turned ghosting” energy more than thee “we actually hate each other” myth. Do you think there’s still something they’re lowkey upset about, or is it just like when two co-stars who share the craziest chemistry finish their work of years and then never show up in the same room again?

I mean, I've had good chemistry with past coworkers but we never hung out outside of work. It was like we were really good acquaintances and had good enough conversations to keep ourselves entertained. You've probably noticed that you've had good chemistry with total strangers in elevators or public transport. You can talk to people like you've known them for years because we're all human at the end of the day and can relate and laugh about the world.

The difference is that Harry and Louis would consistently refer to each other as their "best mate" and decided to move in together. If they had really just grown apart or the Larry rumors had really destroyed their friendship like Louis claimed once upon a time, he would have by now gone into detail about the fact that they used to be best friends like what Lauren Jauregui did when she addressed the Camren conspiracy. Instead we get shrugging the shoulders, aversion to discussing it, and "people can believe what they wanna believe" with sly giggling.

Saw the 5H renaissance on Twitter and just gotta say, like Lauren tweeted, “the timeline’s triggering af”.

I grew up listening to those girls. I grew up supporting them. I remember watching their X Factor performances, their interviews even clips of their mall performances. And even though there were many upsides, there were a lot of downsides too.

I’m not going to touch on the messiness of Camila leaving the band because it’s too much to cover.

This is gonna be long cause I’m still mad at Syco for what they did to 5H.

I am a massive Lauren stan and I love her voice so much. I found it super annoying that she didn’t get enough solos (you guys if you’re 5H fans, know which ones) and I noticed how much Lauren changed over the course of 5H’s run.

I’m gonna start with the downsides first:

From 2012 to 2018, you could see how 5H changed for the better and for the worse. And the worse part was their contract.

According to their lawyer; she said that that contract was one of the worst she’d ever seen. And if you followed 5H throughout their run, you would’ve seen it.

I’m gonna start by mentioning Lauren cause I love that woman.

2012 Lauren had a spark in her and you could slowly see the light dim from her and it got especially bad in 2015-16. In the interviews, she always looked tired and wasn’t just her, the other girls too. It was clear that all of them were overworked and as Lauren said “literal slaves” and “they see nothing”. She’s also called out their label for exploiting the band and telling fans to “read their contracts” which should tell you how bad the situation was.

And it also applied to the other girls. For example; 2013 Camila was more joyful and more goofy then you move to 2016 Camila and she became more quiet.

I know you could say that she matured. And yes I agree; she did. But you could see how exhausted she was half the time. I’ll bring up another point as to why Camila became more quiet later in this post.

This just didn’t apply to 5H, it also applied to 1D and Little Mix. Below is a link of how Syco exploited them and just knowing all that made me so sad for them. These were teenagers, 5H especially (Dinah and Camila were 15, Lauren and Normani were 16) and their management worked them to the bone. Some highlights this person in the video talked about included how Dinah had to watch her great grandmother’s funeral over face time because management wouldn’t let her attend the funeral. And another point is that Lauren said in a very recent interview that from 2013-2018, she only went home for 2 weeks a year.

Now that’s insane. I’m mainly bringing up 5H cause like I said, I grew up with them. I was there when things started to go south. As much as I loved seeing clips of the girls goofing around esp when Dinah poured water over Camila and then Camila slipped on stage, it hurts knowing that they were exploited. I know people say 5H had no chemistry etc. But you have to remember that they auditioned as solo artists and were put together in a band. Plus it didn’t help that Camila was singled out, I feel that started the rift between her and the girls.

Anyways, like I said, I am a massive Lauren fan because she’s outspoken about her beliefs and she’s so underrated. If you see videos of her covering for the girls when they couldn’t perform, you know she has the range and the voice. One example I would quote is when she covered for Dinah in Who Are You. Now, I know that was Dinah’s song but hearing Lauren sing her parts gave me goosebumps. The fact that she had to least amount of lines in the Reflection album still pisses me off till this day.

Another point that I would like to make is that Dinah also pointed out that she had to tweak her vocals to make herself sound more pop because the producers told her that her voice was too soulful and didn’t suit the songs such as Sledgehammer or Boss. That’s crazy cause if you watched Dinah perform live, you know that woman has the range and the vocals. She impressed me so much with her X Factor audition and it was such a waste that she was sidelined because she didn’t suit the pop songs.

And another thing that Camila did point out is as that the girls were oversexualized in their songs. Camila and Dinah were 17 when they filmed and recorded the vocals for Worth It. Camila had to sing and I quote “I like it a little rough” when she was a minor. And didn’t help that for the music video; they dolled up the girls to make them look way older than they actually were. I mean look at Dinah, she looked to be 30 when she was 17.

I know some people are gonna debate that Camila could’ve easily turned down that line or spoken up. But you have to remember that their management controlled them. Like Lauren said, if you tried to go against management, they would brand you as a difficult and probably blacklist you. So, the girls couldn’t exactly say no while they were under contract.

Another downside that I would like to point out is that 5H had no creative control over their music. I mean YouTube has some of their unreleased songs such as Voicemail which is a bop and should’ve been on 7/27 and the fans love it. That’s why Camila left the band.

Again, some people might say “if 5H was gonna break up anyways, why didn’t she just pull through?”

And I raise you this, did you see how burnt out Camila was? That poor woman suffered an anxiety attack so bad that she couldn’t perform for half the show. The other girls also couldn’t deal with the exhaustion. Lauren broke down during No Way and Dinah started crying during Brave Honest Beautiful. It was just a huge mess and you expect Camila to suffer another year? Even Ally said in her book that she didn’t enjoy her time in 5H and it was because of the overworking, the fact that people were saying she wasn’t as good as the other girls. Yes, I’ve seen the tweets and the comments which are just awful.

You can’t compare Ally’s vocals to Camila’s or Normani’s, they all have different ranges and voices. You can’t compare Camila’s dancing to Normani’s, they have different backgrounds in dancing and Camila was a little bit less coordinated. You literally cannot compare the girls to each other because they were so different.

And now another point that I would say is a downside would be the shipping. And yes, the ship I’m talking about is Camren. Ngl, I used to ship them only because of the fanfics (you guys know which ones). But as I got older, I realized what Lauren said about the fans being super invasive and you could see how it affected her friendship with Camila. Lauren said it herself on Becky G’s podcast that she felt like a predator and she would hyper analyze her actions. And you could see it, you could see how she distanced herself from Camila because of the shippers (I still IHQ is about Lauren and somewhat about Dinah).

So yeah, when I saw the 5H renaissance trending, that brought me all those memories. But now, time for the upsides.

I said earlier that people say 5H didn’t have chemistry but have you seen their earlier interviews or their twitcams? They were goofing around with each other and just being teenagers because that’s what they were. I know people say 5H weren’t coordinated during rehearsals etc but you have to remember that their rehearsals were rushed. Lauren also mentioned that in her very recent interview so you can’t blame the girls for messing up (Well except Normani cause that woman is the goddess of dancing). Ally still doing a cartwheel while Camila and Dinah do the hammer dance still cracks me up but that was 5H. They were teenagers having fun on stage and it worked. The audience loved it.

So yes, while I did enjoy watching 5H (attended their Reflection tour , 7/27 tour and their self titled album tour) and watched their tour bus videos and interviews, just noticing the changes throughout the years, hurt and it was hard as a fan to see the spark dim from their eyes.

But ever since the group went on hiatus, you can slowly see them healing from the trauma. And I can’t blame Lauren for not wanting to rejoin the band for a comeback. I know she’s grateful for her time in the band and yeah, it helped her grow as an artist and helped her find her path in the industry. The same goes for the other girls too.

I just wish that these artists have a union like SAG-AFTRA to back them up because they are so exploited. This needs to be highlighted more, now that Syco is out of the picture.
