#gravity falls #Pacifica Northwest #Stanley Pines #Stanford Pines #Stowaway AU #my art #doodles #sorry I’ve been gone a while been busy with project and just plain general work #but had some free time today and finally put pen to paper on an idea I’ve had a for a while now!#Pacifica calls Stan by his name but still calls Ford Mr Pines because she’s got that ettiquette and fear of authority ingrained in her #but Stan is a bugger so she feels better just calling him Stan lol #this is honestly just a roundabout way of saying Stan is naturally good with kids I think #the more paternal grunkle lol #Also I feel like ghost rules in the show are ghosts can change their perception based on how powerful they are #since sometimes they’re invisible or unseen by people unless the ghost wills it (i.e. inconveniencing)#but Pacifica’s just too ghost pilled so she’s always seeing them regardless #Ford is very interested in the science of how this works and Stan has to remind him she’s still trying to get over trauma give her a second #I feel like after this summer at least specifically for this AU she’d end up staying with either Soo and Melody or the Corduroys #Soos might even say they’re siblings since he also sees Stan as a father figure and then Pacifica says ‘dang guess I gotta go die now’#from embarrassment lol

#art #fanart #digital art #dc comics #bernard dowd #timber #timbern #tim drake #tim drake fanart #bernard dowd fanart #red robin #red robin fanart #dc fanart #i dont usually do more graphic styles like this so it was a fun challenge #theres so many little parts to the original that i had to notice and include #i didnt wanna download or make my own heart and star stamps just to use them maybe 6 times each so those are all hand drawn #i adjusted the colors of the heart outlines like 6 times before i was satisfied #also the fact that bernard has a red jacket and pink shirt in this changes the color profile completely so i had to change some things about #-the OG colors so it fit in well #but im happy to report that i didnt use any major blend mode layers over everything at the end to get the colors to mesh well #which is a thing ive been doing for a long time but isnt very conducive to actually learning color theory #also also i spent like a full 45 minutes trying to get the text to look right #bc i dint have whatever font that is so i had to improvise with the fonts i did have and a little bit of editing #and then i had to duplicate it for the shadow and outline it and everything #it was pretty fun tho #seeing the end product was especially satisfying #i havent read ‘go for it nakamura!’ but i assume from context clues the little squid things on the cover are-#-calling him a simp/being supportive wingmen so i replaced them with steph and dick #who i imagine are watching bernard and tim’s relationship like a soapy romcom #and occasionally heckling them (affectionately!) when theyre being lovey-dovey

Little Stan getting manipulated by Bill has excellent angst potential but consider.

Stanley just, keeps tricking Bill. Because Bill would definitely massively underestimate Stanley and how far he’ll go to protect Ford (like in the actual show). We also know Stanley has the street smarts between the twins and could absolutely tell Bill is full of it.

And because Bill would absolutely loose his mind if he kept getting foiled by a snot nosed eight year old that isn’t even supposed to be here

I like to think that he doesn’t even try that hard he just does not even care about bill

#I saw someone saying that ford calls bill this master manipulator that uses mind tricks to get his way #but ford is just socially inept and desperate for validation from his muse that he just #falls for it insanely easily #ford and fidds being all like “BEWARE BILL - HE’LL TRY TRICK YOU!! #hello again everyone. how's it going #isat loop #in stars and time #isat fanart #in stars and time fanart #isat #lucabyteart #isat spoilers #so. had this idea Before getting my hands on the artbook and being validated. literally have a voice note from 4:30am on the 8th where #i frantically noted down this just horrid horrid horrid caption because i'd been musing on the sasasap Dress line all day i suppose #just kind of rotating in my brain the way any kind of first time trying on new clothes for them would be .#just absolutely mental breakdown material and not one i think would be recovered from quickly. they hate being in their own skin #like. a lot? like a lot. the collateral of any kind of transfemme read was barely in my mind until it ended up relevant again while i was #actively working on this. because christ that's a bad combo. 2x different forms of body dysphoria in one. maybe even 3x somehow #plus any scenario where they get clothes is... likely gifted. something they react viciously negatively to in game and i doubt #would improve thereafter. just a veritable katamari of disgust and self-loathing #like i was mostly just thinking abt how a lot of our collective depictions of loop being alienated from their body are rather abstract #in a body horror way mostly. on account of loop being more of a metaphor than a person half the time. so i think i wanted to depict #something closer to just. a human level of body dysphoria. no focus on the whole duplicate thing just... raw disgust for the self #but with the addition of recent discussion and playing ball more with the she/her loop and transfem loop angle...#scenario of leaning into femininity to try throw off suspicion on who they are PLUS realising they might want that PLUS the party #trying to use this to bond with them PLUS body dysphoria PLUS new!gender dysphoria PLUS the usual revulsion for wanting and desire #like. that is a catastrophic combination . not coming out of that one without it getting worse for a few weeks thereafter #that's a real lash out at everyone around them and then recede in shame type breakdown. which im sure looks interesting from #the party's pov because jesus christ that touched a nerve something awful (<- they only have half the context AT BEST)#. so . there's your free scenario to ponder on if you'd want to. seeing as ive done a picture without a shitload of words on it for once #ALSO don't get smart with me in the tags about the mirror test being an absolutely ass test in most regards re: self-awareness #or that things like minnows pass it. i'm a fellow pedant dont worry. it's just that minnow doesn't really have the same ring as dog yknow?#this is supposed to be like an absolutely excruciatingly self loathing thought spoken aloud of a caption. it's pithy and cruel on purpose #and more than a little inspired by (reblogged yesterday) liminal space's 'there is no other dog. it's just you'

Final manifestations for Book 7?

I'm trying REALLY hard not to build up any solid expectations, because I wanna go in ~fresh~! they're already so far away from anything I thought would happen (not in a bad way, I'm just accepting that I'm on Miss Yana's Wild Ride at this point and we're seeing this thing through 'til the end, by gum). so it's nothing too major, but:

they've been handing new crying expressions out like candy lately, I want to see some delicious Malleus tears.

honestly I want everyone to cry buckets. their tears sustain me. the more Silver angst specifically I get the happier I am.

SILVER!!!! 👏 VANROUGE!!!! 👏

just let him have this. the poor boy's been through so much. let him have his big "I'm proud of you, son" moment with Lilia.

I'm 100% expecting Grim's arc (and probably whatever's going on with Crowley) to be its own episode, but a nice hook to leave us hanging on would be good!

a nice hook though, please, I don't think I can take another "Grim is attacking us! now wait eight months to find out what happens :)" cliffhanger...

some Meleanor? as a treat? just a little bit, a tiny quick flashback or something, please Twst I just, I just want to see her again. let her have a little ghost cameo like Dawnathan Knight got. Lilia and his kids are all having their big group hug or whatever and she can gently fade in to be all like
