genuinely frustrating how i keep seeing things that are like "i think i have schizophrenia" and the responses are like "well you said you have (anxiety, ocd, etc.) so it's probably just that, don't worry you'll be ok"
because yeah, the first part is probably true in most of those cases, and that's fine to tell them
but the tone is very much one of like. of course if it IS schizophrenia you're just fucked lol.
like it's like, "don't worry, it's probably just one of the things, your life isn't over. if it's this it is basically over though, give up."
