She has pretty much all of the characteristics of a psychopath, and she’s aware of it. That’s why she thinks her mother thought she was a monster. Because she is one, and she accepts that…but while she recognizes that this aspect of her helps her succeed in SO many ways, she also sees the shortcomings. Like she will never be loved in the way Zuko is loved. And I think she’s kind of jealous of that…but at the same time, mostly doesn’t care

Hey there! I really enjoy your posts about our resistant big boy König. I was wondering if you could create some hcs for the reader pampering him and taking care of him. Like maybe he has a stomach ache, so the reader gives him an abdominal massage or something if you’re comfortable with writing something like that. <3

Okay so first, I'm so sorry for being late. I got super busy this week. I've gone on three 6 hour long drives in the past four days. Three!!! I've been travelling north and my lord I'm bouncing all over the place. But, you're not here for me whinging about driving, we're here for the 'RESIDENT BIG BOY'.

I'm taking notes on that one, btw. That one's too good not to use. Resident Big Boy is now the best way to describe him. But yes, I am more than glad to go over some headcannons! König is a very silly man when he gets a bit under the weather, so let's go over why below the cut.

To put it bluntly, König is a big suck. He really is. He's emotionally mature enough to know that he's overreacting, but he's trained to deal with the worst, not mild inconveniences. For him, having a full fever is easier than dealing with a small problem. The worst part of it all is that it's usually self inflicted.

König doesn't really get colds. He also doesn't really get hurt badly (unless he's come back from a mission, but that's another post entirely). He's careful, neat and considerate with his actions. That said, he has these moments where you really have to question how he's still alive.

You see, König has this little saying that he learned from his family. It's his catchphrase, at this point. Horangi groans whenever he hears it. Stilleto puts her head in her hands. Hutch's eyes glaze over as he looks far off into the distance and shakes his head, quietly muttering, "It's not right, man. It's not right." With all these reactions, you might be wondering what exactly is König's favourite catchphrase?

"It's not an expiry date, it's a best by date."

König has had food poisoning many times.

So when König goes on a whole rant about how 'it's not that moldy, just eat around it', the whole company knows to just wait. Almost like clockwork, the only thing König will be eating for the next 24 hours are his words.

When he's sick, he'll go home and he'll make it your problem. His stomach will be cramping, he'll be spewing vomit like a sprinkler, and he'll be stuck in the bathroom for hours at a time. When he crawls out, you'll be there for him.

You'll have to change his bedding religiously for him. He's sweating up a storm over here. Each time you do, he'll thank you profusely and then collapse into bed.

You'll have to change his bucket. He has a designated vomit bucket (he's gotten food poisoning enough to have one marked and ready for the occasion). He'll always thank you and hold your hand. Thankfully, the military forces him to keep short hair so you don't have to hold that back, but he does really appreciate you rubbing his back. Honestly, who doesn't? It's the least you can do for someone turning their stomach inside out.

With his cramps, he'll pretend he's fine but at this point, you probably know better than to believe him when he says it doesn't hurt that much. Instead, get him a nice supply of heat packs for the worst cramps. However, he much prefers you holding him or rubbing his stomach. It's much more comfortable. He's so happy to have someone care for him like this. He might not be able to give back while he's sick, but he won't forget your kindness to him. He'll pay it back three-fold soon enough.

Every time you make him a light soup, every time you carefully feed him a plain salad or some cut fruit, he's delighted. He knows it might be coming back up in less than an hour, but he's grateful for anything you provide him. As long as it's edible, he'll eat it. (Just please remember to stay away from foods that are hard to digest, like protein, dairy and carbs. Maybe some plain toast with his soup is alright, but it's a good idea to give sick people simple food. Just a pro tip.)

He will curl up to you and use you as a blanket when he gets cold. He will soak up your heat like he's in the ice age. He can't get enough of your gentle touches or soft words. He clings to them as he clings to you, a suffocating embrace.

When you are too hot, he'll begrudgingly roll away and kick off all his blankets and sheets. That's a good sign that maybe you can step away and do some household chores for him. The house doesn't clean itself, after all. When he can appreciate your hard work properly, he'll gladly kiss you and hold you close. However for now, he'll just curl up and lay perpendicular to you and lay his head on your abdomen when you get back. He may not be able to kiss you right now, but he'll gladly curl up on the mattress with you.

Sometimes, he might need help walking to and from the bathroom, and that's always an ordeal. Unless you're strong enough, he'll just have you both toppling over in a heap of sickness and sweat. It'll be miserable. Instead, he'll have to force himself to stand a bit so he won't have you losing your balance. When he collapses back in the bed, he'll huff and puff and grumble about the bathroom being too far, but he'll live. Maybe take the time to run your hands through his hair and scratch his scalp. He'd like that quite a bit.

Anyways, I hope these are some decent headcannons! I am most certainly comfortable writing things like this, and you've inspired a post about König getting fully sick, and how to deal with that! I also might make one about him dealing with minor injuries, like stubbing a toe or spraining a muscle while training. I imagine this guy is an amazing survivalist, but his civilian survival skills are akin to that of a lemming.

Quinn and Jojo friendship headcanons

These two are friends and you can't change my mind.

This post is based on this other post. Headcanons under the cut:

Quinn specific:

-Quinn comes from a lineage of lawyers. So it was expected that she would follow the family tradition. She has always had a strong sense of justice and impeccable argumentation skills, so it wasn't too hard for her.

-She has always been rather aloof, difficult to know, connect with and to get along with, so she never had much friends growing up.

-Met Timm during college, and both found a form of solace in each other. Quinn found in Timm the friend she lacked through her whole life and Timm found a reason to keep on going with the career.

-They both opened their Law Firm after years of working at another one outside of Tacodale (said Law Firm doesn't exist anymore. Some other lawyers came to Just Quinn and Associates after the place closed down).

-When Timm left, she kinda knew that Timm wasn't feeling it but didn't expect for Timm to dissapear off the map. At all.

-Even today, Quinn just wonders what happened. Timm? He doesn't have the balls to talk to her after years. She doesn't even need or want to reconnect, she just needs an answer.

UUUUHHHH... anyways, as random notes:

She has a high spice tolerance.

She is not used to compliements (eg: She gets called "beautiful" and she knows she's beautiful but can't digest being called that)

Her favorite sound is ticking clocks.

She finds it hard making conversation of any topic outside of work.

Has difficulties sleeping and sometimes has to force herself to sleep (just like me fr fr).

Has NEVER lost a case. However she DID quit on a client, that client was Guy Mortadello.

Jojo specific:

-Came from a family that ran a restaurant, well, it was more of pub. They were poor, so he, his parents, and his siblings basically lived in the restaurant.

-He loved helping his parents and always taste-tested any dish they prepared. After watching many tv shows exposing the job of food critics, he decided that this was his path.

-He went to college and met Papa Louie there, they hanged out for a while, at least, until Jojo dropped out of college. (Just imagine it went more of less like this.)

-He started building his own brand right after dropping out of college. He even registered his own award system. Granted, Jojo has built a large quantity of enemies due to his general ruthlessness.

-Jojo encountered paths with Papa Louie after years of not seeing him and when opened The Tacomia, he decided to support him from then on.

Random HCs:

He's insanely good at darts.

He's actually somewhat shy outside of his schtick. He has had to learn to project his presence.

He's a bit of a nomad so he doesn't have a formal home.

Light sleeper, the smallest noise will wake him up.

Jojo just fucking hates Timm.

Jojo is a nickname. He won't answer by his real name. Actually he would be very spooked if you knew his name, because no one other than his father, his mother, Papa Louie and Quinn know his real name (even the latter three don't call him that).

Friendship headcanons:

-They had quite the rocky start in their friendship. Both of them found each other's mannerisms to be clashing and confusing. Eventually, they cleared and understood their differences.

-They became friends for real after Quinn helped Jojo win a legal battle over his brand.

-Outsiders to their friendship think they dislike each other.

-When on the clock, they often act like friendly rivals.

-Sometimes Jojo stops by Quinn's place to bring her something from his travels, gossip and just generally talk shit about about everything and everyone.

-As I mentioned in another post, Quinn was the first person in telling Jojo about Timm's disappearence.

-When Timm started appearing again having turned a new leaf and everything, Jojo, who truly never liked Timm too much, started developing quite the hatred against him for harming Quinn in such way, moreover and seemingly without regrets.

-Timm is aware that Jojo is out for his head and has tried to keep him at bay. That was, at least, until he was hired at the Bakeria, and now he's forced to deal with Jojo (and Quinn) every week. Timm sends Cecilia sometimes (*sigh* fucking coward) to deal with Jojo.

-Jojo tells Cecilia to go do her things, fucking calls Timm over to the counter and goes "Be a man and talk to me."

-Quinn is not aware about Jojo trying to hunt down Timm. And I don't think she will be too happy if she found out. Timm is too scared of saying anything about this because he thinks Quinn sent Jojo to torment him (he knows they are friends). Which has made Timm close up to talk to Quinn even more so.

-Basically speaking, This won't get resolved until all of them speak with each other.

-Anyways, Quinn and Jojo are a ride or die type of friends and Jojo will wreck anybody who messes with Quinn.

!!Light hearted Franco Hcs!!

I said in the previous hc post that he likes blowpops, and I still stand by that. His favorite flavor is strawberry because it's so sweet.

He's the guy that will just drink a glass of milk like its water. Sitting down to a meal? Milk. Just thirsty? Milk. Before bed? Warm milk.

He has a particular fondness for vanilla milk due to its sweetness and that it tastes like melted ice cream. However, it's really hard to find and buy, and he's too much of a weenie to just add vanilla to his milk.

Due to his aversion to bitter tasting things, he's generally a really picky eater. You will not find him eating a lot of greens because of this (unless their taste is completely covered).

He really enjoys heavy meals that leave him feeling tired and full after (even if he doesn't always clean his plate). He needs a little nap to digest.

Boy likes steak, stews, and pasta since they're generally savory and overly rich in flavor. Very, very indulgent.

While he's done a great many drugs, he particularly enjoys the white powder (although he's cut down on his usage). It turns him into a swearing motor mouth that won't shut up.

He only orders his steak rare because that's what everyone else does. He personally likes his medium-well to well done because he "doesn't like raw meat."

He chews with his mouth open. Eugh

Oftentimes, he passes out after doing some. Don't ask what happens when he wakes back up.

He tried weed once, and all it did was make him fall asleep. He calls it "a fools drug."

Sometimes, he does go into little fits of teething. This is just his oral fixation kicking up for a while, but he will chew on random things, including his own fingers.

He loves taking really, really long baths. He sets them up all nice with scent added to the water, flower petals, dim lights, candles if he has any, and a glass of....Milk.

He's a hand holder despite the front he puts up. He just wants to hold hands and be led/lead someone around.

Baby loves to cuddle, but that's given canon. He always needs to be the little spoon no matter what. He will not be a big spoon unless he's hugging a teddy or pillow.

He buys his suits custom made from Gluskin (but this leads into a whole other AU).

hetalia: my hc on nations and personalities

...beyond the stereotypes!

okay okay hear me out okay hc brainrot midnight time im jacked on caffeine and the night is young aight

so lets get this straight: so first off i imagine the nations are like 96% "stereotypes of ttheir nation" (e.g. the more people think or are americans that digest too many burgers, to more likely it is America himself eats attrocious amounts of burgers. The more people say Germans are swrious, the more likely Germany is a serious dude. etc. the normal stuff we all know off.)

but the other 4%? That's the nation's "person" side, seperate from their "nation" side. It varies a little depending on country ofc but that's prob the average.

E.g. hungary and austria "divorced" but they clearly care for each other. They can't be together for literal reasons but the non-nations parts of them wouldn't mind at all.

prussia is knwon aa a great warrior so that's what he is. But his non-nation half has self doubts and the need to keep an eye on his family. Like llease, Prussia how did you know what Austria wears and eats??? I get a feeling this wasn't in the mdidle of WW2, probabky right before if i had to geuss. Austria wouldn't have moved in with Germany and by exention aprussia yet....and he waa following the dude....prussia is an overprotective helicopter parent of an older brother, canon.

France and his distaste for technology. Exhibit A: french music was consistantly the one doing the weird innovative stuff in my music history class when it wasn't Schoenberg. Besides that, i could see France not liking tech as much due to being literally a thousand. austria getting lost is just a him thing. That's not normal for austrians, music part is very much influenced by his people. His preference to chopin might be him though since Salzburg is in Austria and that's Mozartland. Also, Chopin is Polish.

I won't even start with the clusterfuck called Russia but Japan daydreaming about Switzerland? Yeah that was Japan's non-nation side getting really weird. Japan understandably was just as confused himswlf considering for the most part he has no prpblems being a "stereotypical japanese dude".

I also choose to believe Sweden can grow a beard if he really followed the stereotype (no seriously. Why os the image i get of Sweedish guys just dudes with beards? he has nightmares almost every night about when his younger brother died. he tells himself it was his fault, that’s what his dad would yell at him every day afterwards for as he grew up anyways so it has to be true. william wouldn‘t lie or make up something right? so even though he’s been told it wasn’t his fault, the lingering memory of it haunts him because he caused his brother’s death.

he feels sick sometimes knowing he did what his father wanted him to do. deep down inside michae wanted his dad to be proud of him, it was always about the other kids and how much he loved them and how well they did at something. michael would only get a distasteful glance from william before he’d spit condescending words at his oldest son.

he constantly feels pain all over his body and on the inside after being scooped, he told himself he had to do it but honestly did he really? was it worth freeing his sister to the world because it’s what his shitty dad wanted him to do? he doesn’t have a clear answer and he thinks he might never have one.

the pain is unbearable most times, he often tries taking pain killers knowing they can’t do anything to help a man with little to no organs, or a stomach for that matter. it’s hard to keep count of how many times michael has woken up in agony and tried swallowing multiple pills that he would eventually throw up later on because he cant digest them.

he doesn‘t go out much either, stays in his house for as long as he can to a point neighbors that used to know him get worried and sometimes try to visit to see if he’s alright. they knew something was off when his skin slowly became a sickly dead color and over the span of a few months he was completely decaying, a disturbing purple color the last time anybody had seen him before he shut himself in, only going out when it’s safe to do so and staying in the dark like a shadow most times.

his way of thinking is destroyed because of how neglected he was of his father. sometimes getting so down on himself like his dad would that he starts to believe some of the negative and heart breaking things he tells himself. he’s so hard on himself and he takes it as his responsibility to put an end to this all, he doesn’t even realize he’s deteriorating mentally now because of it all.

the weight of having to end william and his on going pain to himself and the souls of the children he’s murdered weighs heavy on michael and sometimes he panics so much he feels like he cant breathe because of it. and then, the part of him that wants his father’s adoration feels conflicted because he doesn’t want to have to destroy the last member of his family that’s somewhat alive. it’s a constant battle within himself and he has to remind himself that this is the best, this has to be done. but does it have to be michael that does it all?

he hates how he looks too. knows it shouldn’t matte but he cant help but see it as a reminder of everything he’s gone through and how suffocating it all truly is. the pain he feels when having to stitch his own wounds that bleed through old stitches is numbing, not nearly as bad as the constant feeling as if his organs are being removed over and over again that he feels daily. he’s learned to skillfully stitch himself up, knows when the stitches are about to give in and need to be changed and it’s just a regular thing to do for him. it’s almost normal at this point, the closest thing he’ll even get to normal again anyways.

he has a single photo he stole from his father and mother’s bedroom and kept ever since he was a young teenager. it was an entire family photo but william’s face has since then been torn and marked off as if he didn‘t exist in the photo. he looks at the small image often when on night shifts. it’s a small reminder of who he’s doing this for. who he’s freeing from all this pain.

39. Shock-white.

Hair going white from shock (hi Percy) seems to be caused by your fight-or-flight response going into way overdrive. See, when your sympathetic nervous system is engaged, it turns off functions that take energy away from immediate survival - it’s why your throat goes dry and you don't feel hungry when stressed, bc digestion is a huge energy sink. And it seems like it can sometimes go bonkers and just. Stop producing pigment, too. Apparently the pigment can sometimes resume production. Fun fact, I had a prof who went white in his early 20s! He's since passed but was the absolute coolest ;;

Just doin' HCs cause the birthday is Over but I still wanna chew through these:

One of the de Rolo children's favorite books growing up (bar Whitney, she thought it too sad) was one about endangered and rare creatures, magical and benign. It was an old book, one Frederick had grown up with actually, so many of the species listed were now extinct. One entry, about a single surviving frog, forever calling for a mate and never hearing a reply, stuck with Cass and came back to her during the Briarwoods' reign. She found that old book.

We have to remember there was a period where each of them likely thought themselves the last de Rolo. Had to plan accordingly. I imagine Cass did her best to stow away family records and portraits, where the Briarwoods wouldn't destroy them and mildew wouldn't ruin them. Recited her family tree when she could - as a calming strategy (as I use in New portraits) and just to make sure they wouldn't be forgotten. Percy lost two years, so by the time it really hit him he was less focused on preservation and more on vengeance - he didn't try to remember because it hurt too much. But it crossed his mind that, maybe, he might need to give up the name if those on the List were too powerful and his vengeance was half-made. Go into hiding and become a secret de Rolo.

(Even once they found eachother, neither considered the possibility of more de Rolos, of another generation, until Vex and Percy eloped, and then it was a moment of o h. Oh, oh there is a future. I'd like to think Percy did away with the secrecy early just to tell her, because this is their family and she should know that Vex is a de Rolo, now, too. There's one more. They're not alone anymore.)

I HC that the family actually goes shock-white fairly easily - it pops up a fair deal in their mother's side, perhaps with an aunt who had an accident on horseback who went white at a similar age Percy did.

In AUs where Vesper isn't planetouched/an Aasimar, I could see her hair going white due to a fairly mild trauma compared to Percy's or Cass' - say, idk, a brush with illness, or a single fairly shitty day. It DOES scare the hell out of Percy to see Vesper's coming in white, though, and there's a period where he's on a crusade through the castle to find out what could have happened under his nose to do this to her. He doesn't know that it could be a mild thing. Once his fears are settled, though, Percy feel a lot better about his own hair, the thought it's not necessarily a mark of his trauma, that it could have gone white anyways.

Hi, there's something I've been wondering for some time now; I've brought it up somewhere already but I'd like to hear your opinion on this somewhat dumb question:

Do you think demons/angels have moles?

Just like with everything, humans have made up countless superstitions around them, from matching moles on soulmates' palms to them being the mark of the devil in exchange for some sort of power. So, I've been asking myself whether for supernaturals they are common, if they have their own superstitions, if there's some truth to the 'devil' s mark' thing or if it's just another weird human quirk.

I think canonically in the game none of them have moles which has probably nothing to do with worldbuilding but when has that ever stopped me?

This is super random and somewhat unnecessary but I was studying and my brain was like "moles!!" so here we are :)

Short answer? Yes I do think they have moles! I’m a big fan of Rule-of-Cool and this is definitely something that sits under that banner

Long answer? Not only do I think there are Angels and Demons with moles, but also other skin types and marks like freckles, eczema, acne, vitiligo, and even birth marks.

I hc that demons and angels alike have to manifest their humanoid forms, and when they do they become their form. So, for example, when they look human they have all the features and drawbacks of humans, including a digestive system that can sometimes act up and hate different things, and the need for sleep. But the thing is - human bodies are complicated. There are so many things going on all at once. Now there are nervous systems, respiratory systems, digestive systems, cardiovascular systems, all the systems. It takes up so much background brain space (ram, if you will) that sometimes things get dropped or skipped or even just glitch. It’s hard to maintain clear, blemish-free when you’re trying to make sure your physical form has all the necessary requirements running it.

And it’s easier to do things from memory too - which means the first time they take humanoid form, there’s bound to be a few eccentricities. Maybe they create skin that’s more sensitive to different pollen types, maybe their skin is littered with ‘birth’ marks. I could easily see born-demons with more UV-sensitive skin because they don’t know how to factor in all that vitamin D that they don’t know they’re missing in the Devildom. They get ‘better’ at some things as they grow and repeat taking the same physical form. They all have to go through ‘puberty’ in that sense.

Teenage angels refusing to take physical form because they haven’t worked out how to clear the acne they keep manifesting is now one of my personal favorite things to think about. Sorry future-Luke.

So I don’t think there’s necessarily any superstitions around those kind of things. In fact, I think the inverse is more likely to have stories: angels and demons with ‘clear’ skin have something to hide. They’re not fully humanoid - they’ve learned how to ‘break’ the shape. But that’s leaning back into that uncanny valley space so I’ll leave it at that!

My Year on Tumblr

It's very crazy to say that I've been on this blog for now a year. I have so many positive memories and experiences on here, and for that I am sincerely thankful for each one of you.

I am also very appreciative and thankful for the mutuals I have made on here. I always look forward to your posts, chatting and joking around with you all on the dash and on discord servers.

This post is to help me look through a reflect, both the highs and lows on this blog and to give some insight on my time as a writer on here. If you're interested in learning more, read more under the cut. <3

In one year I accumulated about 3.5k followers.

However, this number doesn't really matter much to me. The number that does matter is the about 15-30 people that are active on my blog, commenting, interacting, and joking around with me. Interactions from followers are a struggle almost all blogs on here. Many writers leave or stop their craft because of it and there were times I felt like that as well.

I want to urge my followers, both who are active and not, to really try interacting with your favorite writers. It helps. I read every comment and ask I receive, even if I may not answer it. I crack up hearing your thoughts about my headcanons, thirsts, and fics.

So those that did, thank you. You truly helped motivate me to stay writing on this platform and achieve that one year under my belt.

I remember wanting to experiment a bit with my writing style for this. I wanted to test out different dynamics with two different characters, to see how it would be for the person they would be...doing activities with. I settled with these pairs because I felt like they would have cool dynamics with the reader and I think it paid off.

2. 4NEMO Hc's - 4,772 notes - Aug 15 2021

I literally wrote these as soon as I figured out what 4NEMO was. I love idol/music au's so much so I wanted to try my shot at it. I hate how blocky this was because I didn't make the switch to bullet points yet so it is easier to digest for a reader and think it's pretty generic.

This is actually the last thing I really did for Aether because I started getting some hate for writing him lol. Maybe I'll go back to it in the future.

3. Fantasy Hc's - 4,764 notes - Jun 25 2022

This completely blew up in my surprise. I actually wrote this as individual drabbles, but they weren't getting a lot of attention so I just added them to one post and sent it off.

It makes me think about the issues of thirsts vs headcanons. I really feel for people who write thirsts but they don't get attention because it isn't a "headcanon" as view as tumblr.

4. Creampie Hc's - 4,542 notes - Feb 4 2022

I was also very surprised that this blew up lol. These characters I didn't view as popular, but I still wanted to write because I wanted to do something new. For example, this was one of the first times I wrote about Itto too.

I also worry with creampie stuff because it's oversaturated and I think some of these scenarios are generic looking back, but I did have so much fun writing these. I was grinning like an idiot lol.

5. His Shrine Maiden - 4,265 notes - Feb 20 2022

Also shocked this blew up, especially as a full-length fic. I actually don't write a lot of fics because of the lack of interactions, so I was completely shocked by how this was perceived.

This was also my first yandere fic on this blog. I really enjoy yandere content, but I never feel like I nail it right which is why I avoided it for so long. This was me experimenting and playing around with it and I loved it.

Even when I was writing scenes, I had Genshin pulled up so I could describe it correctly. This fic had a lot of planning around it and took about 3 hours to finish, but I'm very happy with the results. This is also my most popular fic on AO3.

6. How You Know They're Gonna Cum - 4,216 notes - Aug 8 2021

I was really still trying to figure out my style at this point. I had been on this blog for just a week and didn't know how I wanted to format and needed to figure out my style.

I tried doing more characters with less blurbs. I think it worked well for this, but I like getting into descriptions more so this was the only time I really did it like this!

I loved these banners. This was the first time I really tried doing cutter banners and I liked them a lot. Besides that, I really think these headcanons are subpar and reading back I think I've grown quite a bit and found my voice.

8. College HC's Part 3 - 3,142 notes - Sep 11 2021

Omg, I remember being so lazy with this. I didn't even add everyone's banner. I was frustrated because I didn't like anything I wrote at this point but would just publish because I knew I was being super hard on myself. It's also unusual that the third part got the most attention as it's usually the first or second that gains the most attention.

9. Losing No Nut November (Liyue) - 2,945 notes - Nov 11 2021

This was one of my most ambitious headcanons. I wrote every male character at the time that I wrote for. Trying to come up with 13+ scenarios, for these different characters really challenged me, but for the better. I am curious why the Liyue one got the most attention as I enjoyed writing Mondstadt the most.

When The Freak Comes Out

That is a very bad title wow... but uhm these are just some HCs for when Suna, Kita, Osamu, and Bokuto decide that you're allowed to unlock a kink... I wasn't gonna post these but @kinsurou and @chibi-chanforever motivated me to share them and the end is a bit that was added by @vanille--kiss so please enjoy 👉🏽👈🏽

Suna probably starts hinting at it the very first time, fingers gently running around the skin of your throat, hand coming up to cup your chin in a way where his hand still lays on your neck that hints he wants to choke you and the way you don't push his hand away leads to him gently tightening his hold with every couple thrusts and just looses it when you wrap your hand around his wrist and give him a look that dares him to squeeze tighter. Suna totally now hugs you from behind all the time, one arm wrapped around your waist and the other around your chest and his hand starts by laying on your shoulder before slowly moving closer to your neck until he's cupping your jawline in a way that makes you take in a sharp inhale.

Kita probably takes him around the fifth time, having slowly switched into more intense positions every single time. His hand is playing with your hair as you ride him reverse cowgirl and you make sure to dangle your hair in front of him until he finally gathers it in his hand so it's like he's a hair tie holding your hair and each time you bounce on him, you pull at your own hair and each moan that escapes you urges him more and more until he's tugging your head back and you ride like mad. Kita can't help but watch as your hair blows around until he can't take it, as he distracts you with a kiss, his hand tangles in your hair so he can give it a much needed tug, at least in his eyes it was a much needed and deserved tug.

Osamu probably takes him around the third time. He's hitting it from the back and what gets him is how you push your hips back against him. His hands grab a hold of your hips so tightly that you think you're going to bruise and the thought alone causes you to moan so much louder that he hunches over you, grip getting tighter with each thrust as he let's his lips latch onto any inch of skin that he can as he marks your flesh with reckless abandon. Samu can't help but admire his work, always staring and smirking when someone happens to notice them and you have to try and come up with an excuse, always teasing you and telling you that you should just say he gave you them.

Bokuto is a super outspoken man so I feel the moment you two start getting more intimate, he just blurts out how he feels without a second thought even if afterwards he has to play it cool. One moment you too are making out and then the next he's telling you about how he wants to see those pretty little lips of yours wrapped around his finger. After blinking at him and giving you some time to digest what he said, you give him the green light. The grin on his face is priceless. You're stradding his lap, his middle and pointer finger shoved into your mouth and pressing down onto your tongue as he's fucking up into you at an incredible speed, eyes trained on your mouth and groaning when he feels your spit dribble down his hand or sees it dribble down the side of your mouth. You just look and sound so beautiful to him as you're trying g to desperately scream for him as his fat cock ruins you for the first of many, many times that night.

Van's Additions:

SUNA now that he's gotten it out of the way... he's so turned on every time he kisses you, his hand comes up to your neck to cup your jaw... He doesn't want to make it too obvious to everyone else but its such a turn on to see how you squirm under his hand on your throat when he kisses you in public.

SAMU LOVES SEEING THE BRUISES ON YOU. When you reach up to get something on a high shelf and your shirt slightly rides up.... seeing his fingerprints on you hip makes him hiss in delight.

KITA totally has a hair kink now.... Like You're out in the fields with him and the wind blows your hair around your face and he's just so overwhelmed with the same way it's all wild like when you're having sex. He grabs you roughly on the back of your head to pull you in close to passionately kiss you.

Dark Headcannons for the Demon Bois, part 1: predatory and dietary habits that are horrifying

You know what, I'm in a hard place right now so I'm going to try to elevate my mood by writing horror HC's because I desperately need to unclutter my brain so here it goes:

Mephisto/Samael

Is a viper, and functions as one.

Is venomous, and has highly hematoxic and mildly neurotoxic venom that causes massive internal bleeding and a sense of drunkenness. Kills humans in about 15 minutes up to two hours, depending on metabolism and level of invenomation. He has limited control of the amount of venom produced since he has no hollow fangs and doesn't inject the venom directly. Kissing him can turn into a kiss of death very quickly if he wants it to or if you're careless.

He uses camoflauge. His entire wardrobe is a bizarre form of blending in by standing out. Predators usually try to make themselves as inconspicuous as possible. He takes advantage of this assumption by being very noticeable, giving his human onlookers a false sense of security. No predator would willingly draw that much attention to themselves, right? Again it's like a hyena - let all the prey know you're there and let them think they're prepared, and then wait for one to drop their guard and attack them from behind.

Alternately, bait them with a lure. Sex is a go-to and tried and true method for this. I suspect he takes a certain pride in eating succubi. They are after all usually the ones to be doing the eating.

Also viperish are his self defense mechanisms, but thats a post for another day

He is designed to be a Human predator, fundamentally. Humans are a prey species that requires a certain amount of specialization, so not many demons actually eat them except opportunistically. Samael is not one of them. His physiology and psyche are designed to prey on humans and human-like things. That being said, humans alone aren't terribly high a energy food source, and for a big demon, that is a big problem. That combined with the Vatican means most of what he eats prey wise are other demons. And half demons.

Samael in mythology was known for eating children. I suspect that the reason Samael has no or very few Nephilim is because he kills and devours them all, in effect re-absorbing any of his transferred power. It is too dangerous to have more than one of himself after all.

Many of his self defense mechanisms are also viperish but thats a post for another day.

Unlike Amaimon, Samael can not eat or digest carrion. He can manage to choke down something a human would get sick from but only because he has a few centuries of antibodies at least.

Amaimon

Kinda already did this but Amaimon is basically a hyena and a komodo dragon combined. He will gladly eat bones and rotten corpses. Including perhaps Naberius and other kin of Rot.

When hunting, Amaimon is a truly terrifying persistence predator. He isn't "fast" in long chases but he is strong and has a lot of stamina. He also has the sense of smell to track for a long long ways.

Being reptilian, Amaimon has an enormous appetite but a slow metabolism. He can go days between meals and then binge on whatever is there.

Amaimon is not venomous - he hardly needs to be, preferring to crush and maim prey to slow it down - but he DOES have intensely caustic stomach acid, which he can regurgitate to severely burn attackers or well armoured prey alike.

Due to his diet of dead things and life in the soil, Amaimon is a carrier of some pretty nasty bacteria in both his mouth and his innards. His saliva and fecal matter are biohazards to most humans.

Lucifer

Lucifer is a quintessential omnivore, akin to a bear or a skunk. Fruit, root vegetables, greens, and opportunistic protein.

Due to his body being in a constant disarray and the status of his intestines being dubious at any given time, Lucifer prefers simple protein sources - fish, legumes, rabbit, chicken - because they're easier to digest.

Also due to his bodily issues, he is one of few among his siblings that really couldn't survive without cooked food. Especially meat. Anything that makes digestion harder is something he can, and has to, live without.

Lucifer does not lack predatory instincts, but he has to be in a real state of desperation to act on them impulsively. That said, he functions perfectly well on his own in a solitary survival situation and has no reason to be remorseful about what he has to kill for his food. Or how he has to kill it.

Which brings me to an interesting point - tool use. Lucifer is fascinated by mechanical things and likes to create and build and do things with his hands. As a result, if he does hunt for prey, in a situation demanding it, he does so with traps and tricks and weapons of his own making.

Egyn

Egyn is very shark like and as such is mostly a carnivore, eating a lot of fish and bivalves - but he also LOVES fatty meats like beef and pork.

He thinks humans taste disgusting and they're too bony anyway, but he will bite if he is scared.

Egyn prefers soft foods that smell good. His sense of smell is his strongest sense, so if doesnt have an appealing odor he won't touch it.

Also has a slow metabolism but is not really as gluttonous as Amaimon.

Iblis

A firecracker that, like Lucifer, prefers food cooked.

Also an omnivore that likes carbs and proteins. High metabolism demands them.

Is not nearly as picky as Egyn or Lucifer but absolutely and passionately hates mushrooms or any other earthy tasting or bitter food.

Astaroth

Has the slowest metabolism of them all and rarely ever needs to eat. When he does, he greatly prefers to either leech (parasitic) or scavenge.

Leeching is done by way of mycellial contact. He is a very, very sneaky and silent predator that consumes the energy of his victims slowly and steadily, often knocking them unconscious with spores, or failing that, poisoning them with toxic mycelium themselves.

Despite the above, Astaroth rarely ever kills his victims. If he does so it's by accident (anaphylaxis) and he makes sure to "use" as much of their body as he can.

Whoo hoo that is a long post. Sorry for the Wall O Text but these ideas (most of which can be found in Savages as well) need to be freed unto the world.

In Which I’m Uncomfortable

Hey bud!

How exciting to be writing back to you on All Hallow’s Eve Eve, because of course I’m not just going to call it Halloween. Goodness, has October, 2017 been a month for the books. Life sure is something, isn’t it? I’ve had no lack of things to do this long while, and it sounds like you’ve had plenty to do as well. Despite all of your worries and turmoil you conveyed in that last post, I couldn’t help but smile and laugh at how you tell your stories - it’s like you’re sitting across from me telling it for real - so thanks for the laughs! Let’s get on with it now.     

First of all, if this girl really is cooler than me, you had better go and catch her, and let her know how you feel, and also how cool she is. Apparently, it’s very. I can tell just from your writing that you are hopelessly into this girl, and you can bet your bottom dollar I would’ve kicked your butt into gear if I was with ya - but there’s no use worrying about things undone and unsaid! So, if you are still regretting that, forget about it. Here’s my advice: don’t just tell her how you feel or hold her hand or something to get the message across. That stuff - it’s too orthodox for you. Do you know who you are? Have you forgotten your roots? You, sir, are a weirdo. And Jaynie, I don’t know her, but she sounds like a weirdo too. It’s not just anyone who would draw you a super-manatee, wear your dry shoe, eat mac and cheese for breakfast, give you candy recommendations at two in the morning, and investigate the linguistics of Star Wars - and this is just what I know from a few paragraphs. Correct me if I’m wrong, but it seems that she meets your criteria for an ideal girlfriend. When it comes to strong emotions like this, you can’t just sit around and wait. My roundabout way of getting to the point being - you’re not normal, so why are you worrying that you didn’t do any of the “normal” things to signal how you feel? I think this is better. Now you have the opportunity to do something that’s more you. You could make her a heart shaped pancake and mail it to her, or compose America’s next top love ballad on the recorder, or send her a carrier pigeon with cheesy love poetry. All I’m saying is that now you have a golden opportunity to show her how you feel in a way all your own - none of that normal, boring stuff the rest of us do. No no. You’re much more creative than that. So let her know, as soon as you can, because she won’t wait around forever ya know. 

Now that we’ve at least addressed that, it sounds like you’ve been doing tons of fun stuff! I would love to go camping like you and your friends did. I do miss the great outdoors. And it’s starting to feel a bit unfair how many great musicians you’ve gotten to see these past two months! I’m glad your classes are going well, and I’m pleased to say the same, assuming this Managerial Accounting exam doesn’t spook me into failure tomorrow night. It seems that in my last post I didn’t really fill you on anything I’m doing this semester with more than one sentence per item, so I’ll try and fill you in more. Oh, and that’s sort of where this week’s title is coming from - I pretty much operate outside of my comfort zone on a daily basis. I’ve been doing lots of new things, kind of all over the place. Just trying to decide where to begin is getting overwhelming. (Quick side-note about being overwhelmed: earlier I was sitting in bed, as I am still, thinking about the fact that I am reclining over 30 ft above ground with thousands of pounds of the 4th floor above me, which is kind of crazy. Whose idea was it to start building vertically?) 

I think I’ll discuss only honors related things for now so this post doesn’t get out of hand. Being an Honors Ambassador has been tons of fun so far! Everything really kicked off after my first tour, which I gave on my own without ever giving a tour or even attending an event as an ambassador, so I just told myself “If they get a bad tour then they will have had a sub-par tour of an academic institution, so really it could be worse,” and then I really wasn’t too worried. They even told me I did great when I asked how it was! Since then I’ve worked information sessions for two fall preview days where I talk about the Honors community in front of a group and then lead a smaller group on a tour. After the first group tour I was talking with this lovely prospective student, and I made some comment on how I could tell she was pretty interested in the HC, even though she seemed pretty introverted because I knew what it was like as a fellow introvert, to which she replied that I was doing a great job at hiding it. So that was funny, albeit perhaps a bit unprofessional, but I’m beginning to find more value in simple laughter and making human connections than I used to. I must say I have become quite the extrovert when I’m all dressed up for tours. I was joking with a professor I had last semester for my heroism seminar - ya know, securing my free spot on the trip to Transylvania she’s leading for Maymester, and telling her how ready I was to inspire the youth of America. Exactly a year ago from now I think I would have run away and had a breakdown in the corner at the thought of any of that ^. I told Rachel that I think being in a position that forces me to be energetic and positive is good for my health, because I’ve just felt happier after those events. Other honors related thing: my honors class on quality of life! This class has been quite interesting and different from others I’ve taken. Firstly, I really like the professor and that makes a big difference when I compare it to some of my other classes. I usually have lunch with him and other honors faculty and students during our weekly Tuesday HC lunch. Again, a year ago, I never would have done something like this, which I’m just now realizing how crazy it is how much my mentality has changed in just one year. Anyways, the course! We are working with community partners in urban poor communities in an attempt to talk with residents and identify what factors influence their well-being. I am in the group working with the Hub, a neighborhood center that primarily serves kids, because when asked, they adults said they wanted a safe place for the kids to play, because these kids are wild. So we tried to come up with some programming to get the parents more involved and just to come at all, hoping that we could talk to them. So last Friday we had a pumpkin carving event and it was a hit! The pastors that manage the Hub said it was the most parental involvement they’ve ever seen in the year they’ve been here. This goes along with the discomfort thing. I’ve never really worked with poor communities before. I suppose there are a lot of things we don’t realize from our comfortable socioeconomic viewpoint. Last Wednesday I went door to door through the neighborhood to invite people to Friday’s event, which was an experience I would certainly define as uncomfortable. And at the event itself there were over ten kids whose parents weren’t there so I was helping out the kids with their pumpkins which was actually pretty fun, even if I can be sort of awkward around kids at times. This is already getting long enough, so I’ll tell you more about...everything next time we see each other. 

Readers’ Digest on the rest: Working with Colombian students, I’ve made a friend and want to visit Colombia the more I learn about it. Work is still great, it is weird being an instructor though. I also recorded a Photoshop tutorial video for work, which could probably be better, but was still an interesting and new experience. Seeing John and Hank Green live was awesome! I also saw Alton Brown’s show with DJ, which was a super entertaining food science comedy show. I carved the most amazing pumpkin I’ve ever carved, we got our oven fixed, and I registered for the spring semester last week - and am hoping to renew my housing contract to stay in my apartment this week! 

Apparently I had a lot to say. Sorry for all the reading. My ideal Halloween costume: a student excited to be taking an accounting exam. That would be ideal. Just kidding. Honestly, since I didn’t do anything costume related this year, I haven’t put much thought into it. I know I mentioned dressing as Petyr Baelish would be fun, but I think anything with a cloak or some old timey robes would be enjoyable for me. Maybe if I try hard enough, I could dress up as just a cloak, instead of a guy wearing a cloak. Also, I love Too Many Zooz, thanks for the recommendation! My recommendation for you: get out of your comfort zone! Love is an uncomfortable emotion sometimes, so just embrace it and put yourself out there! Good luck with everything buddy! Let me know what you’re dressing up as for Halloween, because I’m sure you’re doing something! Oh and I almost forgot the question I wanted to ask you: can you think of a cool Dungeons and Dragons magic item? It can be anything - anything at all. Or multiple anythings. Now I’m done!

What is your absolute favorite kind of fic to write? Drama w/ slight to moderate angst

Are there any other fic writers you admire? If so, who and why? Many. And they vary by fandoms that I’ve participated in. However, Melissa Good (Xena /Dar & Kerry) particularly stands out because she was one of the early fic writers I started reading, and I’ve gone back to read her stuff many times. Her stories are very well-written. She does over-arcing love stories that are not explicitly sexual in detail, nor do they need to be. Her love scenes, when written, fit in very well with the tone and style as the rest of the story. Trust me. That vision of Xena scaling a mountain, risking death more than once, then running - practically flying - over the fields in a rainstorm to the borderlands between the Amazons and Centaurs to save Gabrielle from a renegade shit disturber amazon, then landing a big kiss on Gabrielle in front of said crowd of Amazons and Centaurs is pretty legendary. How many words can you write if you sit down and concentrate intensely for an hour? Don’t know that I’ve actually counted. When I get into a zen stage of writing where the characters keep talking I just go with the flow and don’t stop until a) I need a trip to the loo, b) my tea has gone too cold/run out of biscuits, c) my stomach is growling to loudly to ignore.

First fic/pairing you wrote for? (If no pairing, describe the plot) Oh heavens. Not published anywhere, but Beauty & The Beast (Catherine & Vincent) - the Linda Hamilton & Ron Perlman version. I was in my late teens. Pre-internet.

Why do you choose to write? An outlet to explore feelings, explore characters that speak to me on some level, and sometimes to challenge myself.

Do you ever have plans to write anything other than fic? I have one original story in the works. I’ve also written a published academic article in a Canadian Oncology Nursing Journal back many yrs ago when I was a nurse trainee. I’ve also written interviews with musicians, writers, creators. What inspires you the most? Different things. Sometimes it’s being out in nature, conversations, reading other well-written stories, sometimes music, travel.

Weirdest thing you’ve ever written/thought about writing/etc.? At the moment I can’t recall. Well, not completely true. I can write a love scene and have done in the Otalia Virtual Seasons, but I can’t write explicit sex scenes as it feels weird to me. Not a prude; I can read them at times - if it feels right within the context of the rest of the story and it’s well-written without feeling like I’m reading a young-adult’s attempt at porn. I’m also not a fan of vulgarity or overly flowery terms for sex.

A fic you wish you had written better, and why? My early stuff seems a bit cringeworthy now but again we only learn from our past and reading other well-written stories. Also, as we age, our own life-experience contributes to our overall knowledge (or at least it should). How I wrote as a teenager/early 20s is quite different from how I write now (nearly mid 40s), as well it should. Reading other well-written stories with correct spelling, proper punctuation and grammar, verb-tense agreement, etc. REALLY helps improve one’s writing skills, as well as really knowing the characters (and their development). Getting a beta-reader who can constructively critique your stories to bring out the best in your work is also a recommendation. I’ve been writing fic off and on for about 25 years.

Depends on the fandoms I’m writing in at the time. And not necessarily romantic pairings, but sometimes just friendship pairings.

Call the Midwife sides: Delia & Phyllis friendship or pretty much any dynamic with Sister Monica Joan. (This is stuff I’ve only partially gotten round to writing)

Scott & Bailey sides: Gill Murray & Julie Dodson - though sometimes they’re the main with Janet & Rachel as the sides.

Guiding Light sides: Doris & Blake

Your guilty writing pleasure? Don’t know that I really have one, that I can think of at the moment.

Do you have structured ideas of how your story is supposed to go, or make it up as you write? I have a general sense of direction for the story, particularly if it’s a shorter one-off piece and not a multi-part story. When I was writing with the OVS (mentioned above), we had an over-arcing plan of things that we wanted to accomplish over the season, so specific plot points were planned out well in advance. However, like a serial drama, one story had to follow from the previous so we needed to be aware of what the writer before us was incorporating so that there was continuity between one story and the next, also to lay in bits in our story that would be picked up in the next one. What was really fun was coordinating the multi-author stories in the season, where each writer would take a different group of writers to write about and making sure no one character was in two different places at the same time.

Would you describe yourself as a fast writer? On the one-off pieces, usually. Or if I’ve got a deadline. Multi-part stories, not so much…unless I’ve got a deadline.

How old were you when you started writing? Crikey. In my teens I wrote for my high school Creative Writing class book (circa 1989-1991). Before that, just my own jotting of ideas.

What initially got you interested in writing?

I’d always been interesting in writing, starting out with poems and short stories and travel journals. Then I decided to write a full-length novel. I bought a book called “Structuring Your Novel” that took me step-by-step through the process. I also read Writer’s Digest magazine for many years. Seven books later, I finally sold my first manuscript. That one was Circle of Light, and it won the HOLT Medallion Award.

  What genres do you write in?

I started out writing science fiction romance and then switched to cozy mysteries.

I’ve published eight romances and thirteen mysteries to date, two novellas, and one non-fiction instructional guide titled Writing the Cozy Mystery.

  What drew you to writing these specific genres?

As a romance reader and Star Trek fan, I combined the two genres and wrote science fiction romance. Later, I based these stories on Earth in modern times to write the Drift Lords series and added mythical elements. But I was also a Nancy Drew fan and loved lighthearted mysteries. I ended up putting mysteries into my romances, so it was a natural progression to try a straight mystery at some point.

  How did you break into the field?

I joined Romance Writers of America and attended local chapter meetings. Here I entered a critique group that vastly improved my writing. I met my first agent at a Florida Romance Writers conference. This agent marketed books four through six, but it was book seven that sold. I wrote four futuristic romances for Dorchester before switching to mysteries and landing a contract with Kensington. Thus began my Bad Hair Day series featuring salon owner and hairstylist Marla Shore. I still belong to a critique group with FRW members today.

  What do you want readers to take away from reading your works?

Entertainment, escape, a sense of humor, a touch of romance, and an urge to get the sequel! I want them to love Marla, my hairdresser sleuth, and to consider the continuing characters as their friends. I want them to close each book with a smile on their faces. Coming from the romance genre initially, I believe in HEAs (Happy Ever After endings) even for my mysteries.

  What do you find most rewarding about writing?

Fan response is by far the most rewarding aspect of writing for me. I write for my readers. As long as they want more Marla books, I’ll be encouraged to write them. I like to think I’m giving people a few hours of pleasant escape from their problems. I want to give them the same experience I seek as a reader. Hearing back from fans that they love my books and can’t wait for the next one is highly gratifying. I am humbled and honored by their support.

  What do you find most challenging about writing?

It’s very hard to concentrate lately with so many distractions. I’m tempted to glance at email or check in at Facebook when these can be time sinks. Finding quiet time to write seems harder than ever before. The pressure to produce more and faster and to spend hours marketing your work seems much greater. Authors can lose focus and forget why we started this career. We love storytelling, and that has to remain our priority, but it’s not easy with social media merely a click away. I spend more time on marketing than on writing, and that can be frustrating.

  What advice would you give to people wanting to enter the field?

Follow the 3 P’s: Persistence, Professionalism, and Practice. Keep perfecting your craft and make sure your presentation is as professional as possible. Join local writing organizations and attend conferences and workshops. Learn from other authors by getting hooked into the writing community. Have a presence online and start building your platform. Get acquainted with social media sites and be prepared to market your work. Set daily and weekly writing goals and stick to them. It’s the only way you’ll finish a book. Don’t worry about edits until you are done.

  What type of books do you enjoy reading?

I love genre fiction. My favorites are historical romance and historical mysteries, science fiction/fantasy, and cozy mysteries. I look for humor, romance, and an escape to another world in the fiction I read.

  Is there anything else besides writing you think people would find interesting about you?

I have a Master’s Degree in Nursing and worked as a registered nurse for ten years. Considering possible career paths, I almost auditioned for a professional ballet company. But I’d always loved writing. Barbara Cartland is who got me started reading romance, and Jill Churchill attracted me to cozy mysteries. I’m also a foodie who enjoys cooking classes and dining on Caribbean cruises.
