hello kingdom come deliverance fandom. I still have no idea how to make video game gifs so I bring you my speciality instead; gifs of The Actor in a slightly obscure role from their earlier career where we can all pretend its The Character in an au. Helped by the fact that this is a medieval setting and his character has a romantic connection he can't pursue because of an arranged political marriage so he diverts his devotion into looking after his love's child (who just so happens to be called Henry.)

Ghost felt disgusting, vile. He just got like that sometimes, hitting him like a tidal wave of terror. He felt vulnerable and exposed, naked and laid out for everyone to see. It felt like every time someone looked at him their eyes bored holes into his flesh and every touch felt revolting. He felt that same fear when creepy unwanted touches were pressed into his skin. But it wasn't creepy, it was an encouraging pat on the shoulder from his captain. His captain who loved him as his own son and would kill himself to protect him. It shot shivers through him and made him want to vomit. It was Gaz giving him a thumbs up or Soap placing a fistbump on his chest and a big goofy grin, but it still made him feel wrong. He knew deep down that it was all innocent and he was covered up and safe, protected, but he still felt gross and sticky. His brain would scream at him to run, get out, run, run, run repeating over and over, filling his brain with blinding static. It made him want to melt into a puddle of red gloop and seep into the dirt. He wanted to lock himself in his room in the pitch black under a tarp and rip his own flesh off in chunks. He wanted to puke and dry heave until he was choking up stomach acid, to claw his own face off and rip his hair out, to tear through skin and ligament, rip out his tendons and veins, shatter his bones and rip them out as well, to canabalize his own limbs. It was completely insane and had no rhyme or reason to it. He was completely covered up by a mask and black fabrics and got only innocent looks and touches with no ulterior motifs and he knew this. But it didn't change the way his gut churned and his blood ran icy. How his eyes widened and his breathing quickened. How he felt small and vulnerable, a lamb waiting to be devoured by a starving wolf.

So he'd retreat back into his room to sit in the dark. He'd wrap a blanket around himself and huddle in the corner of his bed until he felt less sticky. Like he'd touched something nasty and was dirty. Sometimes, if he could stomach it, he'd shower with the lights off and try to calm down. Sometimes he'd just sit and breath, remind himself that he was okay and nothing and nobody would ever touch him.
