At last, some details!

(A while back on @srmthg we had a zine interest check, and it remains open for any additional suggestions/feedback about what you'd like the zine to be (you can also shoot this blog an ask) but I don't plan on doing a second interest check. If enough people feel this is a mistake, there's still time to do one, but as it stands I don't see the point. I will continue to accept feedback and take it into account moving forward!)

By the way, my name is @netbug009 and I'm your friendly head mod for this project! This will be my first time running a zine, but I've been helping run projects in this fandom for 18 years!

The Format

SRMTHG Zine (cooler name tbd) will be a free PDF zine scheduled to release on September 18th, 2024, AKA the 20th anniversary of the series' first episode!

I know a lot of folks (myself included) like to have nice, shiny, hard copies of zines, and I hope to get the zine onto a publishing on demand site such as Lulu to let people buy them at-print-cost if they'd like, but a free digital edition will be the first priority. Since this zine is a celebration of the anniversary of a relatively small fandom, I want as many people to be able to access and enjoy it as possible! Plus, this is my first time running a zine, so I think it's smart to keep it simple. This also lets us worry less about page counts - if a lot of cool people contribute cool stuff, a PDF can be a chonk as we want!

The Content

The zine will include both fanart and fan fiction (and maybe even a few QR codes to some other digital goodies like AMVs and fanmixes if there's enough contributor interest!)

Light shipping will be allowed, with a few exceptions - no adult x child and no monkey x human ships will be allowed. (This was THE overwhelming request in the interest check and is not open for debate.)

We're going for a general vibe and love the idea of getting copies into the hands of voice actors/staff, which should give you a rough idea of the type of content we're going for - if it's too creepy/fetishy to hand to Ciro at a convention, it's too creepy/fetishy for the book. (That said, Monkey Team is a very silly and weird show with a love for classic horror tropes so I hope people don't let that limit their imaginations too much if they wanna do something spoopy!)

NO AI WORK WILL BE USED OR ACCEPTED IN THE CREATION OF THIS ZINE. I hope that'd be a given but just to be 100% clear, no.

You might notice this is a pretty long timeline for a zine and we're starting pretty early; because this fandom is fairly small and this is a big occasion, I want to provide extra time so that as many people can hear about the project and participate as possible.

Hudson and Rex S03E01 - Origin Story PART A

I am free! Finally, we made it out of S2. I do like S3 more as a whole.

Ugh, the subtitles are bad. And I'm afraid they'll remain like that for the rest of the season because I checked a random S3 episode and it was like that. Yep, these are the copies I found and uploaded myself. No, I don't have an alternate subtitle source sadly. HDTV rip subtitles are synced differently. Good news is that it's only S3 that seems to be the problem. Anyway, if you need a good laugh, put them on.

On to the episode.

I like the title, first of all. Definitely puts Rex on a superhero status. Every superhero has an origin story.

Did I prefer this to be the start of Hudson and Rex as a show? Yes. Does it make more of an impact when it's the story of how they met and we've watched Charlie and Rex as partners for two seasons? Also yes.

One drawback is that you can't make Diesel really look younger. I mean, theoretically they could cast another dog for this [on Kommissar Rex, there's an entire movie with how Rex started as a pup, and then an almost adult dog (teenage dog? I don't know dog ages but you could tell by his body) and that was a tv movie. I believe that dog later replaced the dog that played Rex]. But I don't know how much that would work or the training and time required.

It might sound ridiculous, but I feel that's a more dynamic haircut than last season's even though it's not that different. The suits have stayed. For now. The tie is trying to escape his body via Newfoundland air.

Sarah, on the other hand, has done quite the change on her hairstyle. I remember when I saw the episode the first time and I was like, wow, that really suits her, although I never really had a problem with her hairstyle before.

"Thank you for inviting me." "Well, you're a part of the team, it wouldn't feel right to not have you be a part of it." Admit it, you just wanted her there.

Dude, there's no sunshine. But you look cool, I get it. Small change of hairstyle to denote that this is a flashback lol

Joe's flashback hair are also different, without the normally visible white above the sideburns, as I remember it. My takeaway from this is that in 3 years' time, Charlie and Rex gave him quite a few grey hair.

"I'm not letting any of you bastards come close until I see someone trustworthy!"

"I've got four months left running forensics". Subtle way to show that's Sarah's predecessor.

"What's the dog's name?" "Rex." "Rex. Seriously?" Okay, what's with the name? So it means king, so what? Take one look at that dog and tell me that he's not a king. Also, I am headcanoning that Charlie knows Latin.

"New entry? Who's that? Seems trustworthy."

"Yeah, I know, we both have our issues to deal with". Yeah, you do.

There's definitely a connection but I think what's different is that Charlie tries to approach Rex as he would approach someone who's in pain, and more than that, someone who would understand what he's saying, and that's what ultimately makes a difference for Rex.

Charlie: Good boy. Rex: Knock it off, Charlie, we just met.

I don't care, this is a date.

Nice transition from the house now to the "circus" at the same house three years ago.

Jesse is geeking out about the digital board. I can't really tell if they did something with Jesse's look.

"I think it's a picture of the kidnapper". It's a literal shadow and you want Jesse to put it up? Are you going to issue an APB on shadows?

Well, that scene where Charlie and Gus are trying to talk over Rex's very loud barks must have been fun to film.

Charlie doesn't lose his temper often but he's definitely going to when it's about Rex. And we see the start of his "beef" with Renley.

"Therefore, regulation suggests that we retire Rex." "Do you mean, put him down?" Look at him, he's already too invested.

"I'll just sit here and look cute. I find that it often works in my favor."

I think the whole episode is supposed to showcase how Charlie was a bit rougher around the edges. He's easier to lose his temper, he admits to Rex that he also has issues, and it's logical because this dates closer to his divorce than any other episodes we've seen. He's also been off duty god knows for what reason because the Charlie we know is never off duty. My guess is Joe forced him to.

"I'm sorry that man made you cry. I promise, I'll make him better."

Been thinking a lot about AI art. It's been really grinding on me more than I realized. Fucking stolen garbage. Like, what's the point of making digital art, anyway, if it's gonna blend in with all the shitty AI slop? Not that my art is the kind of intricate renderings AI likes to copy. But I don't even like looking at art online much anymore because you keep crashing into that trash. I'm just wore down over it. Fuckin' resource wasting theft machine garbage.

So I've been thinking about making traditional art as a result. Tho' I didn't realize it for several months, that's also one of the factors that've had me utilizing my sketchbook more. Digital art is much more convenient--my iPad takes up less space than my sketchbook, pens, markers, or painting things, with much less setup and cleanup. Digital art's also hella easier to share. It's already pre-loaded in a computer friendly format, no scanning or photographing necessary. But also a little bit who cares? Because theft bot. Because I'm bad at sharing and engaging and cooperating in a community, and I just clam up and drift instead. Because I get so burnt out on the social aspect of sharing art that I don't end up building a community or following the few times I've managed to start getting some traction on that. I just end up scared and hiding. Because I need to not try and focus on Building An Art Career, I'm about to go back to school and try and become a vet, and that's going to eat my time and energy completely.

And because, though I like the way I make more things, I don't like the way putting pressure on myself to utilize my art for survival plays out. With burnout. With dissatisfaction. With expectations of response that aren't met, and that's no one's fault. Things take time to be found, and I don't know anything about how to actually promote my art. I'm always telling myself I just want to make things. And I do. But making them under the yoke of capitalism just crushes me. I'm too soft, and that's okay. But it does mean I have to make alternatives for myself.

So for the billionth time, I quit art business and am making just for me, again. I'm sure I'll turn around on that next week. Hells, this week I've already been thinking about the JOYS of monetizing game making and novel writing. And yeah, I want to make stuff. I want to make and share stories. I gooooooottta separate that from making money and survival in my head, because I simply cannot.

Sucks, cuz for so, so long I've spent my life churning myself into a froth that this time I'll be able to make art for a living.

Vi heard back from the Swedish company yesterday (vi had a call scheduled with them). Aaaand it's a no. With all the craziness, the shit we're trying to escape here from the US, they're not willing to go through the hoops.

So that sucks.

So we'll keep trying. I'm glad I'm pursuing schooling, and signed up for community college (tho' I'm worried about affording classes), to help feel like I'm still moving on this. But it still really, really sucks.

Okay, roughed out another scene of the IDM audio, the one I've got in my Audacity file as Track 4 - Sitting Ducks (am now on page 17 of 32 in the script). Next up is the scene where I finally bust out of my shackles and me and Knux finish our TFs!

Pulling all these clips from the big master is so fuckin' exhausting. I don't know why it feels so arduous. Prolly just maintaining my focus on audio stuff with very little to visually separate it. Ugh, I get lost so easy. I don't think there's a better method when we're recording cross country like this, but ugh. It's hard and I'm struggling. And I still haven't managed to set up the recording session with Gazzy, so even once I do polish this rough cut it'll be missing all of fuckin' Eggman (and Mark, but Mark is far less important).

Blurgh. I do want to finish it tho. Just gotta cut in the photos Vi and Yuki sent us, the maps, and pop together a trophy real quick. It probably won't actually be that much work, it's just that I've gotta figure out how to do it in Resolve, versus how I would do it in After Effects. And I'm a neophyte with After Effects anyway. It's just that learning new programs is such a headache. Blurgh. It would be really nice to finish this tonight, tho. Since Yuki should be here soon, anyway.

We got to see Wolf Children at a Fathom event last night, it was absolutely outstanding, and I loved the shit out of it. So of course I had to draw some wolves when we got home.

Then today I made some deer to get practice in for drawing more cervine unicorns. Still dialing my eye back in on drawing from reference, I'm very out of practice, and drawing from photos on my phone's screen isn't ideal either. But still. Better than not using references.

Part 2* Danganronpa/Undertale Adoption AU

(*number is subject to change).

Part 1.

More context: the Danganronpa 2 kids had to find an alternative way to leave the simulation, but they couldn't find a way to completely leave the digital world and ended up transported to Hope Peak's computers' copy of Undertale. They all ended up at the dump lol.

I'd like to write the other kids finding different Undertale homes, though I'm not done piecing that together yet. I know at least three of the kids end up staying with Toriel. Also, there is a totally great explanation as to why the monsters are still underground but somehow not concerned about gathering any of these souls as the final human soul...aaaand I'll let you know whatever that is when I come up with it. Maybe, since this is an alt version of Danganronpa 2, it's also an alt version of Undertale? I'll figure it out later.

Also if you're new around here, I write Kazuichi as a trans girl and she is dating my teenage self-insert Zoey. That's true in this au as well.

idk if i'm qualified, but i'll try to help out!

the head is the most important part as many of thr proportions of the body are scaled by it. this method is actually taught in actual drawing classes, to draw a head, you want to make a circle and then divide it into 5 parts horizontally (number the lines to make it a bit easier. line 3 should go through the middle of the circle exactly). then, at the bottom of the circle draw line 6, and add 1 more below for a total of 7. all lines should be spaced out equally.

next, draw a line down the middle of the circle all the way down to line 7. the position of this line changes depending on the position of the head, i can try to explain it more if you'd like. from there, you want to draw 2 ellipsises? ellipsi? squished circles. on the sides of the head, from line one to line 5. then, draw a line through the middle of the ellipsis down from line one to line five. this narrows the head down to it's proper size.

jaw next. from your newly found sides of the head, draw two lines at the same angle down to line 6. then, at line 7 find how wide you want the chin to be, and connect from up at line 6 down to the chin at line 7. congrats, you have made a head!

the end result should look something like this:

as you can see, the ellipsises are also helpful in drawing the ears as they neatly fit in the bottom quarter of it outside the head. lines 1-6 are also for locating the facial features. line 1 is the hairline, brows lay on top of line 3, the middle between lines 3&4 is the centre of the eyes, the tip of the nose is on line 5 though the nose goes about 1/3 of the space lower, and line 6 is where the mouth is (without the lips, we're only talking about the part that opens yk?).

a few more tips are:

-the head is 4 eyes wide. this means, the eyes are 1/4 the width of the head

-the eyes are an eye's width apart

-you can also separate the head into thirds. this way, from hairline to start of the nose is 1/3 (below eyebrows), from there to bottom of the nose is another 1/3, and from there to chin is the last 1/3

- the body is about 8 heads tall. this is an approximation, but it is generally accepted

-hands are about as long as a face

-elbows are at about the same height as the belly button

-a whole arm from shoulder joint to curled fist is equally separated into 1/2 at the elbow

some more general tips i have are: understand where muscles are and how they work, don't be afraid to trace poses from pictures when you're starting out (but it's considered in bad taste if you straight up clearly copy a pose from another artist's work especially later as you progress but at the start and for yourself/to practice it's nothing shameful), references are your friend, learn how joints bend and how they don't to avoid your art looking like the residents of uncanny valley, and finally, don't try to force yourself into an artstyle you don't enjoy drawing just because it looks good, remember that everyone was a beginner at one point, if someone insults your art it's a skill issue on their part tbh, and keep drawing! keep making stuff! enjoy yourself!

oh, one last thing: practice straight lines, circles and making your lines meet in one place. look up warm up exercises on youtube to see what i mean. they improve your line confidence and clarity. in digital art the multiply layer is probably the most op and most useful, aaaand that's all! hope this is readable lmao im not a very good teacher. youtube and pinterest tutorials are great, i promise. also i can link you a VERY good tutorial on how to colour hair that i found recently. remember that art is about having fun, so draw the stuff you want to draw in whatever style is most fun for you. good luck!

also i just noticed the question about brushes: brushes in digital art are a personal preference, so look at what other people are using, what you like in an artstyle, and experiment around a lot. it's not a science (⁠｡⁠•̀⁠ᴗ⁠-⁠)⁠✧

I started drawing between 5-8? My eldest sister was an artist and I always tried to copy her stuff, my first drawings were all box head anime chibis tho and I have kept most of them ahsjsbsh (I have kept almost every art piece I've ever done and I'm really glad I have! It's nice to go through them and see my progress)

Honestly both are the same amount of relaxing for me! If i'm at home I definitely go for digital because I'm almost always at my desk but if I'm out and have paper and a pencil I'll doodle traditionally. My digital art always turns into a whole piece though and mindlessly doodling is easier traditionally.

They both relatively give me the same amount of serotonin, I do enjoy drawing my oc's most though. I feel a lot less constraints with my oc's because I can draw them in any way I want, doing whatever and it's all canon and it doesn't matter if it's not 100% on model and I don't have the worry of anyone judging me because it's my oc and what I say goes. Aaaand it's just a blast being able to bring what's in my brain to life and share it with people!

With fandom stuff I adore drawing my fave blorbos but a lot of that art I don't share because I don't know what the reception will be to it and it's mostly self indulgent like putting John in makeup and a dress unironically bc I love fucking w gender presentation and fashion through my blorbos and it brings me joy to draw.

FUCKIN. CARS LMAO ANYTHING THAT YOU HAVE TO DO ART MATH FOR. Organic stuff i'm relatively good with but as soon as it's got sharp angles and lots of detail that needs to be perfect or it looks Wrong I suffer immensely. I'm working on it though so hopefully I'll improve enough that it won't kill me everytime I attempt to draw it.

Could you tell more about how you recreated the PlayStation 2 start up animation? In particular I’m wondering about the motion blur, aliasing, and other PS2 specific rendering quirks. Thanks <3

gladly! actually most of that stuff is done in blender’s compositor! i can break it down for you.

early game console motion blur was not true motion blur -- that is, the physical simulation of a camera shutter being open for too long while something is moving. to do this today, the renderer takes note of the location of every vertex in the scene during the last frame, and compares those locations to the current frame. then it will take those positional differences (sometimes creating a few extra “steps” in between those two positions for extra data) and create a blur between them, achieving this:

the PS2 (and the other consoles at the time) was a graphical powerhouse compared to its predecessor, and thanks to new rendering techniques, was able to sort of simulate motion blur without the full cost of actually simulating motion blur, like we do today.

to do this, there was a technique often referred to as “color accumulation blur”, where the last 2 or 3 frames were simply overlaid on top of the current frame at a lower opacity. it cost next to nothing, reduced aliasing (or jaggies) on some edges, and for the time was a pretty convincing full-screen motion blur effect—at the expense of it looking like “ghosting” or “afterimages”:

now, without doing some crazy render layer trickery, blender doesn’t necessarily have the compositing tools to do this exact effect (at least to my knowledge, i’m not a wizard or anything), but it’s very convenient that during the PS2 boot animation, the camera moves smoothly forwards in a single direction. 

we can't use blender's default motion blur feature for this effect, because it'll actually be high quality motion blur instead of the kind we want. blender just so happens to have a very nice feature in its compositor called directional blur.

here is first bit of the compositor node setup. here, i take the currently rendered frame, and pump it through a directional blur node, which will blur the frame outwards from the center. those “zoom” and “spin” sliders modify the intensity of the blur and the spin of the blur, and i animate those upwards as the camera gains speed towards the end of the animation. the iterations slider is what determines how many copies of the original image will be overlaid against each other to create the blur, and considering what we learned above, i set that to 2 so it looks nice and choppy.

after that, i hook up the original image and the new blurred image into an add node, adding them together!

this one's pretty simple. the PS2 typically rendered graphics at a resolution of 640x480 (it could do 240p and 480i, but for simplicity's sake i stuck with 480p). so in blender's render settings, i set the resolution to 480p.

anti-aliasing is a technique where you take a rendered image and through one technique or another, reduce the appearance of jagged edges on pixels—allowing the image to look smoother and cleaner.

the common anti-aliasing techniques of the time were extremely expensive especially for a console, so most titles didn't use it at all. this is why a lot of older games (and a lot of new ones too) can have graphics with pixelated shimmery edges. however we mostly had CRT TVs at the time back then, and CRTs are notoriously good at covering up aliasing.

blender, however, has anti-aliasing enabled by default. to fix this, we need to head over to the scene tab, and go to film > pixel filter.

blender's anti-aliasing method is called pixel filtering, and by default the "width" (strength) is set to 1.5px, which will sort of let each pixel affect the next half-pixel in all directions. it ends up looking like this:

don't worry i barely understand it either, we just need to turn it off. so i set the width to 0.01px, and bam! crispy jaggy aliasing.

finishing touches

finally, i had to give the render an old-school analog feel. the PS2 rendered digital images and sent them through a low-quality analog cable. that’s right, i’m talking about these bad boys:

since only one of these cables were used for sending a video signal, they had to send chroma (color information) and luma (brightness information) data through the same pipe... so naturally you’d get some crosstalk between the two, resulting in some odd looking color smearing: 

to achieve this in blender, we do some more compositing!

here, i am taking the frame with all effects applied up to this point, splitting it into its red, green, and blue color channels with a separate RGBA node, and then ever-so-slightly applying a blur to the blue and green channels before re-combining them back together with a combine RGBA node. it’s definitely not accurate to how chroma-luma crosstalk works in real life, but it’s good enough that the effect is convincing! (NOTE: for this screenshot i’ve dialed the blur way up to make it more apparent for this post—it’s much more subtle in my final render)

...aaaand that’s about it! 

there’s definitely a lot more at work here to make it PS2-authentic but those are the big ones! i also rendered the little colored balls of light as a separate render layer and added them on top of the frame, lowered the contrast a bit to look more like a recording of a real PS2, and turned off raytraced shadow casting.

tim: usually baked goods or cookery books, although his recent fondness for decorating cakes has resulted in many culinary masterpieces being delivered to friends and loved ones this year.

andrew: his fondness for photography, videography and art means that it'll likely be a copy of a home movie, a framed family photo, or a poster or portrait he found in a store.

gabriela: much like andrew, her love for her family means that she places a huge wealth of value in the position of people in said family. as a result, pajamas, bedsets, mugs and placemats are all gifts she'll likely present to people.

stanley + richard: sweaters, hiking boots, scarves. honestly, they pick one thing and get a few personalized versions of it each year. one time they got wine glasses and aisling's had a sunset painted on it while nate's had a starbucks logo on it. also a hug. the hug is a traditional necessity.

nate: i can't really describe nate's gift language any better than the vibes of a dad who finds out his kid's favorite fruit is watermelon and he proceeds to make watermelon their entire personality for the rest of time.

henri + etienne: henri always attempts to give everyone super obscurely elite kitchen gifts. etienne consistently softens them into something else. japanese kitchen knives in a handspun linen holder? a ramen bowl hand-painted with your name and favorite colours, and a lacquered set of chopsticks.

leo + sammy: usually a gift from their worldly adventures. a boomerang and a marmite gravy recipe book was aisling's gift last year. the year before, they got stanley and richard matching kimonos and a katana with their names engraved on the blade. stanley uses it to trim the rose bushes whenever their neighbors are being pricks. which is always.

ramsay + renée: ramsay isn't accustomed to the idea that "money isn't everything", so renée has teamed up with him this year to stop him from buying people yachts and tech companies. so far, together, they have bought aisling a recorded play list of irish trad music and a framed family tree with stanley and richard at the top, aisling and the squad on the next level, and the foster kids stemming from aisling. needless to say, a very fondly and tearfully received gift!

Are you named after anyone? Actually, funny, kind of yes. But those are my deadnames. Still: my four(yes, 4!) deadnames are two I think great aunts or something, the middle name of my grandma (or great grandma, dont quite remember) AND the fav singer of my dad during the time I was born lol. my chosen name is the male equivalent of my first deadname tho

When was the last time you cried? Today or yesterday. been some hard weeks. loss and grief sure aren't fun (also I got some mint oil in my eyes last night which also kinda made me cry lol)

Do you have kids? no human kids. but two cats (and theoretically a dog, but he lives with my ex); technically my ex and I also inofficially adopted the neighbor trans teenager who has a sh*t family, but I haven't met him in a while sadly

What sports do you play/have you played? when I was 5 I danced ballet for like a year, at 7 I joined a "normal" dance group for kids, but also dropped out after one or two years (both times I dropped out/lost interest was right after my very first official performance lol. just like now in games I am an achievement hunter haha) OH and I took horse riding lessons about two years or so when I was a kid

Do you do sarcasm? I read this as "Do you scream?" and I went "Only internally. Quite alot of the time actually", and only then noticed what the question actually was xD Well... I only do sarcasm with like one or two very close people who understand me on a level no one else does. my only sarcasm tho is that which I copied from other people over the years (autism is fun yay)

What is the first thing you notice about a person? I'm not sure, but probably the hair? I have great difficulties remembering faces (especially after only one or two meet-ups) and hair has been quite reliable most of my life. also, teeth (because I tend to look at mouths when others speak. a) because I don't like eye contact and b) because I have auditory processing issues)

Blue with a yellow ring around the pupils (I have professional photographs of my irises if anyone is interested lol) BUT it changed a bit over the years. when I was a kid I had more green-ish eyes, then I went the perfect mix between blue and green (my dad has blue eyes, my bio mother green) and then it went more blue and the green became more yellow/golden and wandered more into the middle

Scary movies or happy endings? Happy endings I guess. Tho when they are too happy or fluffy I tend to be annoyed lol

Any talents skills? I don't like the use of the word "talent" because most of the things people see as "talents" aren't actually god-given or whatever but hard trained skills which have taken alot of time and effort to achieve the level of. I like to paint (digitally; mostly with krita, but also with procreate since I got an iPad now)

Three Facts About Me

1. I... absolutely love Alexander the Great. I've been collecting so many books on him that I even have one about the logistics of his army. In the books that I've read, there are mentions of books and plays that he enjoyed reading, so I did my best to find copies of it. From Historical Fiction to Historical Non-Fiction I try to collect as much as I can so I can delve into his personality better, and how he's portrayed by different writers overtime. I try to get as many historical sources as well both from people who write him in a positive light and a negative light, so that I can understand him better. Just coz I like him doesn't mean I condone some of the heinous things he's done throughout history... and there are some that are very atrocious. But you can't expect a perfect ruler to exist. That's simply not possible. But it doesn't mean that he wasn't a good ruler. He has his ups and downs, like every one else. But him being very hands on and leading his troops personally always garners my respect. Aaaand annoyance when that almost kills him.

2. Locally, I have one story that was published as part of a Mythology Anthology series. My contract with the publisher ended a long time ago so we're able to post it and do with it as we please. If ever you're interested, you can check it out over here.

3. One of my dreams is to one day be able to read Cuneiform/Ancient Sumerian Script because I want to read directly from the tablet where The Epic of Gilgamesh is inscribed. So, there is a channel on Youtube called the Digital Hammurabi which teaches you how to read Ancient Sumerian script. ADDITIONALLY, tiny thing I found online. Caster Gilgamesh's Noble Phantasm, Malammu Dingir doesn't make sense as a phrase, generally. As 'Melammu' is the borrowed Akkadian of Melam/Melim, while Dingir is Sumerian in nature. If I remember correctly, for it to make sense it should be phrased as 'Melamdingira' which would then mean "A Deity's Splendor". As Melammu Dingir, these are just two nouns strewn together.

How long [have you been roleplaying?]: I am too lazy to do the math, but I started during 2006.

How'd you start?: I actually started in a forum. Back then, Animelyrics.com had Roleplaying forums which were pretty easy to get into. So I mostly did stuff there. Eventually, I'd transfer to Yahoo Chatrooms for real time roleplaying. It's very fun. Buuut there were issues and the Yahoo Chatrooms had to be shutdown.

Favorite Face: Aaaah, my favorite face is Hori Kyouko. But I usually use her as my mun Icon. I love Hori. Along with the entire Hori Household. Specially Kyousuke because he's so stupid.

Least Favorite Face: I don't really think I have a least favorite face... AH. I hate Malty's face... if I have to choose. I mean, he design is pretty and I totally support anyone's use of her as an FC, but it's just her character, how she did Naofumi dirty. I see her face, it grinds my gears.

Fluff, Angst, or Smut?: Mostly, fluff and angst. Depending on my mood though, I usually gear more towards angst. Let's hurt each other when we plot. UwU

Plots or Memes?: Both. Both is good. Both is definitely good.

Are you like your muse(s)?: I guess there are some things that are similar, but I wouldn't say we're very much alike. At the very least, I wouldn't do majority of the atrocious things that my muses will do, if the chance was offered to me and no consequences will be suffered. Sometimes, I like to think that I'm actually a fairly nice person compared to my muses. But my muses would beg to differ, and call me a sadist because I put all of them through hell.
