obviously disclaimer that if u like the pairings in question im not like canceling or attacking you personally or saying ur wrong for liking it or for not considering the more uhh iffy angle im abt to bring up in terms of how i personally always felt abt these ships, i have mutuals who rb stuff for these sometimes and its just a tag i have blocked its life it happens, im more so just overall commenting on the existence of the pairings to begin w, its not worth the drama its my opinionnn please keep that in mind but yeah

anyway ugh now w like capitano model preload stuff and some of the model comparisons being made (hes slightly bigger than the usual tall male apparently n childes model was used for the comparison) and the shippy comments being made abt it im gonna be honest chief. i do not. like. a single ajax x harbinger pairing like im sorry just how exactly is the age gap (and seniority. and experience. and power imbalance) not processing with ppl when it comes to these at all ??? 😭😭 hes the youngest appointed harbinger canonically and w perueres story we now know that was like. arles literally the one exception here since theyre actually around the same age but those 2 have the ship chemistry of two noble gases JSKSKSLDOSOSKFL (= literally no reaction) . arle is a whole dyke that much is obvious.

like obviously its not like much can be done since pairings like scara are way too popular to be somehow halted on their tracks and the cap stuff will prolly have a resurgence as well now that hes getting a more tangible characterization in natlan but ughhhh. it also sucks bc i think ajax 100% has a crush on cap and its such a peak concept (the guy Absolutely played a part in childes bisexual awakening) but the idea of it being reciprocated on any level whatsoever just feels nasty to me im sorry 😭 my cap would Never its literally on the level of pairing him w skirk to me

[ Gender Flag Sets Masterpost ]

Don't know what some of these terms mean (e.g. mban)? I compiled them (and their sources) on my site [ A List Of Gender Terms ].

The fluid, fluix, and flux terms are based off genderfluid man/boy, genderfluix man/boy, genderflux man/boy, and the matching woman/girl versions. For my nonbinary terms/flags though, I'm defining them more broadly, so any combination of midbinary + fluid/fluix/flux works.

Butch, futch, and femme is the same. Anyone who's butch/futch/femme and midbinary, whatever that combination means to them, can use these flags :)

Also, I didn't list every possible name for the fluid, fluix, flux, butch, futch, and femme terms. You can use alt terms/names, as long as they have the same meaning.

All these flags use the colours from my alt midbinary flag.

For mbinmel and mban, I just went with a format that felt right / looked nice. Having the stripes be horizontal looked too much like orientation flags to me, so I used vertical stripes (pride flags don't often use vertical stripes, so I think this helps make it more unique). And the second one, I felt darker and maybe just a bit of desaturated colours would fit. I still wanted them to be colourful though, since I think the opposite gives the impression of depression, which is not just what adulthood is.

Mby follows this girl flag (which has also been used for other diminutive flags, like boy and xip). I don't know how to make symbols for it though, so I left them blank. Having symbols would help them look more unique, so if anyone wants to make symbol versions, they're welcome to.

The fluid, fluix, and flux flags follow my formats, which are based on genderfluid man/boy, genderflux man/boy, and the matching woman/girl flags.

Finally, the butch, futch, and femme flags follows these femme/futch/butch man flags, that's where the bottom 3 stripes come from.

Something from the Shen Yuan is Mobei Jun's little brother outline:

MBJ's initial meeting with SQH goes down the same until SQH gets MBJ back to the inn- at which point MBJ pulls out a talisman he activates- and a few minutes later Mobei Yuan pops out of a portal and starts fussing over his big bro until he falls asleep.

SQH is freaking out because MBJ called the kid A-Yuan and SQH knows his Mobei clan history (he had like 100 pages of unused backstory) and Mobei Yuan was supposed to die in a political assassination when he was 2, this kid is way older than that! Like... Six or something?

"WTF?" he whispers under his breath.

And then he's getting death glares thrown at him from the Mini Mobei and the kid whispers back. "What the fuck do you mean WTF??"

There's much whisper-screaming about transmigration and who SQH is and then eventually Mobei Yuan smacks him- he's remarkably strong for a little guy.

"Ow bro! Why?"

"That's for never using my brother's actual name anywhere in that fucking book! Do you know how long I spent not sure if the only sibling who's nice to me was Mobei Jun or just canon fodder???"

MBJ wakes up before they can keep bickering, and SQH decides to just never mention that the System was absolutely going to let him murder MBJ, so which sibling fills the role probably isn't actually that important for plot stuff.
