ever since trump was elected, I've felt like I'm stuck in this weird stasis mode, like I'm frozen in time and not going anywhere, not really doing anything. so I made this:

this is a calendar of trump's presidential term. each square represents a day, and each square with a letter in it represents the first day of a new month. the calendar starts on January 20th 2025, and ends on January 20th, 2029.

I plan on printing it out and coloring in each day as we go, just to have a tangible example of how I'm progressing through time, but you can do whatever you want with it! use mspaint or gimp to fill it out, or keep it in your phone gallery, etc - if it's useful to you, feel free to use it!

and stay safe, out there. things are really fucking rough right now, but we've gotta do whatever we can to just...stay alive and keep moving forward.

I'm so mad that post was misinformation because there is actually an EXTREMELY important conversation to have about the production schedules artists are forced into. There's no need for exaggeration, the conditions are bad.

I work for webtoon. My publication schedule is weekly. While publishing I'm required 10-15 pages a week. Fully colored.

This means I'm finishing a 150 page fully colored graphic novel every 10-15 weeks.

When my comic is not updating, I am not getting paid. Any time writing, editing, or off is out of my own pocket. I don't get healthcare. They do not provide any assistants. They expect me to promote myself; they chose to deprioritize me before I even launched and gave me an end date half a year in. I never had a chance.

And this is the industry standard! Every company has artists forced into crunch hours, overtime, and burnout. Artists are literally dying early due to it. So many of my friends can't afford to go to the doctor.

It's unsustainable and untenable, and it's also the expectation our audiences have.

If we want to have this conversation, there's plenty of conversation to be had with the realities of the situation. It's bad as is.

So far In a romantic way for sure: Prowl/Jazz, Ratchet/Drift, Swerve/Blurr, First Aid/Vortex, Onslaught/Blast Off, Knockout/Breakdown, Blurr/Shockwave (Specific versions of them, and because of SOMEONE I am now constantly on the pinch of daydreaming of their happy life)

In a romantic/platonic (means both fit but platonic is closer ahah): (Little note, only hell knows how Rodimus works so he is mostly on the platonic side for me even thought I think he can be in romantic, but it is a disaster in my brain XDD) Starscream/Bumblebee, Prowl/Constructicons, Dratchrod, Megarod (I deeply love how their closer friendship side is), Cyclonus/Whirl/Tailgate, Brainstorm/Perceptor, Sunstreaker/Bluestreak (welcome onboard!), Lost Light/Rodimus (teehehe), Deadlock|Drift/Rodimus, Sixshot/terrorcons, Dead End/Perceptor
