Ruler of the 4th through the houses
So when you follow the ruler of the 4th house through the chart, you’re unlocking how and where you seek to feel at home in this life — emotionally, spiritually, and even physically.
4th House Ruler in the 1st House
Home is where you are.
Your identity is deeply tied to your family, culture, or early environment. You carry “home” with you — emotionally expressive, protective, sometimes even parental toward others. You’re your own anchor. Strong sense of self rooted in emotional truth. Core need = To feel seen and safe in your own skin. “I am my own foundation.”
4th House Ruler in the 2nd House
Security = stability.
Your emotional well-being depends on feeling financially and physically secure. You may have grown up around themes of scarcity or materialism, or learned to build your own safety net. Loyal, grounded, caretaker energy. Core need: Tangible safety — a cozy space, resources, routine. “I build a home I can count on.”
4th House Ruler in the 3rd House
Home is in the mind.
Your early environment shaped your voice, thoughts, and communication style. Siblings or relatives may play a big role in your home life. Talking, writing, or learning = comfort zone. Able to articulate emotional depth and family stories. Core need: Mental stimulation, open communication “I feel at home when I can express myself freely.”
4th House Ruler in the 4th House
Ancestral echo.
This is a pure, potent placement — you’re deeply connected to your roots, your family line, or even past lives. Home and emotional life are central to your existence. You may return to childhood places or inherit family responsibilities. Psychic memory, deep emotional wisdom, nurturer soul. Core need: Emotional grounding and belonging. “I carry the heart of my lineage.”
4th House Ruler in the 5th House
Home is creative.
You find emotional security through play, self-expression, and joy. You may want to create your own family (biological or chosen) that feels full of love and passion. Your inner child is loud and wants to be seen. Playful parent energy, expressive nurturer. Core need: Fun, romance, a home filled with love and light. “I create a home that celebrates life.”
4th House Ruler in the 6th House
Home is functional.
You need structure and purpose to feel emotionally secure. You may have had to take on responsibility early in life. Work and wellness are connected to your emotional state. Healing comes through routine. Feeling emotionally drained by caregiving or “fixing”? Healing others through nurturing structure. Core need: Order, health, and acts of service. “I make my home a place of healing and order.”
4th House Ruler in the 7th House
Home is relational.
You seek emotional safety through connection and companionship. Your family life may have involved witnessing intense or imbalanced dynamics between caregivers. You recreate balance through partnerships. Prone to projecting family dynamics onto partners. Deeply relational, romantic, peace-seeking. Core need: Emotional intimacy, harmony, and shared life. “Home is found in love and mutual understanding.”
4th House Ruler in the 8th House
Home is transformative.
You may have experienced emotional or family upheaval — intensity, secrecy, or loss may be themes. You need deep emotional bonding and sacred space to feel truly safe. Could inherit land, trauma, or psychic gifts. Can have a fear of emotional vulnerability, control patterns. Soul healer, sacred space holder, generational breaker. Core need: Deep emotional honesty and transformation. “I transform pain into sanctuary.”
4th House Ruler in the 9th House
Home is the horizon.
You may feel most at home abroad, in other cultures, or in spiritual exploration. Your early home may have been restrictive, making you seek emotional freedom through growth, learning, and travel. Escaping emotional depth through philosophy or travel. Visionary nurturer, wise soul, curious seeker. Core need: Meaning, belief, and wide-open spaces. “I build a home in every country and every idea.”
4th House Ruler in the 10th House
Home is legacy.
You may have grown up with a focus on success, image, or duty. You feel safe when you’re achieving or building something lasting. There’s often a karmic connection between family and career. Neglecting personal needs for public image or work. Powerful provider, ancestral leader. Core need: Recognition, structure, and emotional purpose. “I build a home others can look up to.”
4th House Ruler in the 11th House
Home is community.
You feel emotionally safe in friendships, groups, or collective movements. You may create your own chosen family. Your childhood may have felt “different,” and now you build inclusive, visionary homes. Emotionally detached or idealizing community over self. Utopian nurturer, the one who makes others feel seen. Core need: Belonging within a larger whole. “I build homes that include everyone.”
4th House Ruler in the 12th House
Home is the soul.
Your emotional roots are deep, spiritual, and often hidden. There may be ancestral karma, isolation, or mystery around your early home. You need solitude, imagination, and inner peace to feel safe. Emotional avoidance, hidden grief, or self-isolation. Dream weaver, inner sanctuary, spiritual nurturer. Core need: Emotional retreat, spiritual connection. “I carry home within the quiet corners of my soul.”

I see everyone joking abt Bobby only making 3% bc yeah tht does sound like a pittance but considering the scale & level of stardom tht Huntr/x is written to b at: their combined net worth is likely astronomical so 3% is definitely A LOT more money than we're all thinking it is
also I saw someone say Bobby doesn't do anything important(???) Um tht man does everything except design wardrobe (tho considering how ready he was w his own Golden look I can't help but wonder) & write the music & choreograph their dances, like, EVERYTHING.
He organizes the tech crews (probably does the payroll too lbr), he manages their band socials, keeps an eye on where they r in the charts, he has backup dancers on standby, he has snacks waiting for them immediately after their final show, he booked them a stay at a spa resort, HE KNOWS ALL OF THEIR CHOREOGRAPHY... they tell Bobby to take tht spa resort booking for himself saying tht he's worked just as hard BC HE HAS the beginning of the movie is the end of a whole ass world tour & the logistics of a world tour r absolutely INSANE & I doubt the girls were involved in them very deeply. Bobby's job is to do the nitty gritty organizing & advertising & hiring of crew & monitoring of public opinions so tht the girls can (from his POV) focus on creating music & art & staying healthy bc HE LOVES HIS GIRLS
I saw someone say they headcanon tht Bobby is a former idol (likely from the 2000s going by his possible age) & I love tht idea bc it explains so much: how little of a percent he takes, how ready he is w snacks tht many kpop idols IRL r told to avoid, how he encourages their eating & staying hydrated, how he has to take a breath & remind himself tht socials r just numbers, how he was aware they had Golden ready to drop but didn't know/control when or how beyond he knew the choreo & to have a 'fit ready & to have those billboards ready to go considering there was an entire music video.....
It explains how Gwi-Ma got to him BY BRINGING UP THT HE COULDNT KEEP HUNTR/X TOGETHER
#kpop demon hunters#shoujo says#i got carried away#i like him i just think hes neat#ok also hes my type#bobby kpdh#kpdh#huntr/x

North Node Through the Signs
When we talk about the North Node, we're diving into the part of your chart that is all about your soul's growth, what you're meant to step into in this lifetime. It’s the compass pointing toward what you need to learn, but it doesn't come easy. You’ll find that the North Node's energy will push you to uncomfortable, often painful places where you'll have no choice but to grow. It’s not a gentle nudge. It’s more like being shoved toward the edge of a cliff with no safety net, and the landing? Well, that's up to you.
Let’s get into what it means to have the North Node in each sign and, trust me, you’ll want to brace yourself. There’s beauty in the struggle, but the struggle is real.
Aries North Node demands that you stop depending on others to define you and start stepping into your own power. The dark side? It’s not just about becoming independent; it’s about confronting your own fear of being alone. There will be moments when you feel abandoned, unsupported, and left to fend for yourself. That’s the whole point. You’re learning that your strength comes from within, but not without first feeling the sting of isolation. Relationships might shatter because you’ll realize they’ve been built on co-dependence. And here’s the kicker—if you keep clinging to others to save you, you’ll find yourself betrayed by the very people you rely on.
With the Taurus North Node, you’re being pulled toward stability and security, but here's where it gets tricky. The shadow side of this placement is greed, laziness, and clinging to comfort at all costs. You might obsess over material possessions, convinced they’ll bring you the peace you’re so desperate for. But the universe will rip them away from you if you refuse to let go. If you chase security without spiritual growth, you’ll end up empty and dissatisfied, no matter how much you accumulate. You’ll have to face that ugly part of yourself that wants to hoard resources and shut out the world. Isolation comes easily, but it’s destructive for you.
A Gemini North Node is here to teach you how to communicate, but the dark side shows up when you lose yourself in gossip, manipulation, and endless distractions. Instead of diving into meaningful conversations, you might scatter your energy, talking just to talk without ever getting to the heart of anything. You could become a know-it-all, someone who collects surface-level information but never truly understands anything. The worst part? You might use your words as weapons, cutting people down with half-truths or gossiping to avoid your own insecurities. If you refuse to grow intellectually and spiritually, you’ll drown in a sea of triviality, never truly connecting with others on a real level.
Cancer North Node wants you to nurture and be nurtured, but the shadow side is suffocating emotional dependence. You could fall into the trap of mothering others to the point of control, or, worse, becoming so needy for validation that you drain the people around you. You may end up emotionally manipulative, clinging to relationships or situations long after they’ve served their purpose. Your biggest fear is rejection, and it will rear its head every time someone steps away from your care or doesn’t need you anymore. If you don’t learn to balance your emotions and stand on your own two feet, you risk becoming emotionally crippled, relying on others to define your worth.
For those with a Leo North Node, you are meant to shine, but the shadow side here is narcissism, arrogance, and ego-driven ambition. The universe will tempt you with fame, power, and recognition, but if you chase these things for the wrong reasons, you’ll end up in a lonely spotlight, surrounded by people who only care about your image. The dark side of this placement can turn you into someone who constantly needs validation, someone who sacrifices authenticity just to keep the applause coming. And when the applause fades? You’ll find yourself feeling hollow, desperate for attention in all the wrong places. Pride will be your downfall if you don’t learn to create from the heart.
With a Virgo North Node, your path is about service and practicality, but the dark side here is pure perfectionism. You may get so caught up in trying to control every detail that you become critical, judgmental, and downright impossible to please. Your life could become a checklist of tasks, accomplishments, and standards that no one—not even you—can ever meet. If you fall into this trap, you’ll miss out on the joy of simply being, constantly striving for a perfection that doesn’t exist. The danger is in becoming obsessive, cold, and detached from the heart of things. If you don’t learn to let go of control, you’ll suffocate yourself and everyone around you with impossible expectations.
Libra North Node is here to teach you about balance and relationships, but the shadow side is codependency and indecisiveness. You might fall into the trap of people-pleasing, constantly sacrificing your own needs to keep the peace. If you do, you’ll end up resenting the very people you’re trying to please, feeling invisible and unappreciated. Worse, you may become so obsessed with harmony that you lose yourself entirely, never standing up for what you truly want. The universe will push you into uncomfortable situations where you’ll have to make hard choices, and if you avoid them, you’ll stagnate. The dark path for you is becoming a doormat, always waiting for someone else to take the lead.
A Scorpio North Node is no joke. This is about transformation, but the dark side is obsession, control, and power struggles. You might become consumed by jealousy, paranoia, or the need to dominate others emotionally and spiritually. This placement can drag you into the depths of your psyche, making you face your darkest fears, but if you resist, you’ll get stuck in toxic patterns. You might find yourself drawn to situations that force you to confront betrayal, loss, or manipulation—because that’s how Scorpio energy works. It’s not gentle. If you refuse to let go of control, the universe will rip it away from you, leaving you with nothing but the ashes of what you were too afraid to release.
If you have a Sagittarius North Node, you’re here to explore freedom and truth, but the dark side is arrogance, dogma, and irresponsibility. You could become so obsessed with your own version of the truth that you refuse to see anyone else’s perspective. The universe will force you to confront your own hypocrisy if you preach one thing and live another. You might also run from responsibility, constantly chasing the next adventure without ever building anything lasting. If you refuse to commit to something deeper than your own desires, you’ll find yourself spiritually lost, wandering aimlessly without a true sense of purpose. The danger here is superficiality—pretending to seek truth but never going deeper than the surface.
For the Capricorn North Node, this lifetime is about building something real, but the shadow side is ruthless ambition and emotional detachment. You could become so obsessed with success and control that you shut off your emotions, turning cold and unapproachable. Relationships may take a backseat to your career, and while you climb the ladder, you may find yourself at the top—and alone. The dark side of this placement is a relentless pursuit of power that leaves you disconnected from your humanity. You’ll need to learn that true success isn’t just about achievements; it’s about balancing ambition with care. If you don’t, the universe will show you just how lonely a mountain peak can be.
With an Aquarius North Node, your path is toward innovation and community, but the dark side is rebellion without a cause, isolation, and a detachment from emotion. You might find yourself resisting authority just for the sake of it, pushing people away because you’re afraid of losing your individuality. The shadow side of this placement can turn you into someone who values ideals over people, someone who is so focused on the collective that you forget the human element. If you isolate yourself or become too rigid in your views, you’ll miss out on the deep, personal connections your soul craves. The universe will remind you that true revolution starts with the heart, not just the mind.
Finally, the Pisces North Node is all about surrender, spirituality, and letting go of control, but the dark side here is escapism, addiction, and martyrdom. You might find yourself avoiding reality altogether, retreating into fantasies, substances, or unhealthy relationships to escape the harshness of life. The universe will test you with situations that force you to face your own weaknesses, but if you run from them, you’ll get trapped in a cycle of self-destruction. The danger here is in losing yourself to the point where you no longer know where you end and the chaos begins. You’re here to learn trust, but if you don’t, you’ll end up drowning in your own illusions.

People need to stop confusing having money with being an industry plant, you’re babbling words you don’t know the meaning to.
You know what an industry plant is? An industry plant is someone who the industry plucks out and decides to fashion into music careerists. It’s when Simon Cowell puts together a boy band and has their entire image made up for them. It’s when they don’t have an artistic career of their own: every aspect of their career is planned out for them. It’s labels taking a child and saying, ‘kid, we’re gonna make you a star.’
You know what an ‘industry plant’ moment is? A 360 ‘all-rights’ record deal, where the label controls not only print, publishing and distribution of your music, but also what endorsements and sponsorships you will do outside of your music career. When that is signed at the start of your career, that’s industry placement. The word ‘industry plant’ is meaningless.
Having money to buy your instruments, having money to go to music school, having money to sustain a career gigging underground for 3 years before you get discovered? That is not being an industry plant. Getting signed to a record label after being discovered? That’s not being an industry plant.
Being born middle class? You may have your problems with it, but it’s not being an industry plant.
Personally I think we waste time trying to eat slightly more well off kids— focus on the rich kids. There’s not enough money in music for you to be squabbling over how someone with $10,000 is making a music career. I say this in the most practical manner possible: preventing middle class kids from making music is not going to create more grassroots venues. Boycotting middle class musicians will not create more arts grants and youth clubs. Cutting middle class acts, as much as this will surprise you, is not going to mean that more working class bands get support slots that will change their careers. That requires a cultural change. Oasis could’ve made the life and career of any smaller band they’d chosen to open for them. They were given those opportunities at the start of their career. They chose not to do the same for the next generation of working class bands. That decision is not impacted by the availability of working class musicians or the unavailability of middle class ones, that is a culture change. Focus on changing the conversation, redirect the unwanted attention to those that hold the purse strings.
There are execs that run the music industry that are raking in billions. Why is (Spotify CEO) Daniel Ek’s net worth higher than Paul McCartney’s, or all the Beatles (+ estates) put together? Why is one Daniel Ek richer than Oasis? Who’s done more for music? (And who has instead destroyed the industry from the inside so that no musician can ever hope to comfortably live off their music careers?)
Spotify parades on the BRIT awards red carpet going ‘omg, we love the vibes! ✨’ without ever having done any of the work to get those artists up there. I refer you to Myles Smith’s beautiful acceptance speech at the BRITs. ‘You can’t just celebrate success. You have to protect the foundations that make it.’
youtube
’Industry plant’, when it is not being used solely to discredit women in music, is not a word that is helpful in actually creating meaningful change in the music industry. All it does is drive wedges between musicians, fans and music industry workers behind the scenes—producers, light and sound technicians, venue staff, road crew, so many more—who are otherwise united in understanding that the problem isn’t that there is no money in music. The problem is that there is no money in grassroots music, because money that used to be put back into the music industry as an investment into the future stars that will one day sell out the big stadiums, top the music charts (/generate billions of streams) and generate those billions in the economy, has simply stopped in favour of another cheque bonus to a Lucian Grainge or a Daniel Ek. Anyone who works in the music industry or is vaguely familiar with its workings knows this.
And so it is in the best interest those that run the industry to create nonexistent divides between the kinds of musicians in the scene: one who will never again have the resources to reach the top and so can be discarded with no consequences by the industry (see: Spotify deciding that any artist with less than a thousand streams a month would not get paid at all. Not only is this work-for-free not being prosecuted, it is being embraced by other streaming companies as well), and the other who are now being eaten by their own for having barely a fraction of the wealth that DOES exist in music but will never reach the people that keep the music industry ticking over.
Put money into the underground. Make it easier for kids to take up music from the very beginning. Ezra Collective stood up on one of the largest platforms you can have in UK music and advocated for youth centres and music clubs.
You really want to tackle industry plants? Combat them by giving everyday musicians the resources to help them reach the top.
Support rising independent music. Voice your support for levies that will give back a portion of larger venues’ revenues to grassroots venues. Buy music if you can, rather than just streaming it. It goes a much further way than the $0.003 a stream gets.

Michael's master post
USe the tag #Fanart to find Micheal fanart
The only official OC other than the villian (ichor) you in @gardenview-gang
hi everyone! The names Micheal, nice to meet you all! I'm one of the newer toons around gardenview. So it thought I would make this blog so you all can meet me, see ya!
Reference by @expectsomechange

current trinkets:
Microphone and thermos
below is how they would work in game, ooc stuff, and relationship charts
relationship charts:
Up to date:
other info:
He believes that having crushes on most of the toons except Cosmo is immoral, as poppy is aroace, and the other two are in happy relationships he would never ruin, due to this he never acts upon it
Template with Micheal!:

rules:
No nsfw
Be nice if ya can
Micheal facts:
Skills: lock picking, driving, singing, unscrewing things, hotwiring cars. Stealing. He's like a crook lol!
Issues: touch starved, dependency issues, fear of abandonment. Is normally laid-back, but can go on sugar rushes. Is a sugar holic
Voice claim: bf (blue haired one) from this video
vee is his cousin
Trinket: microphone
Boosts stamina recovery by 50% but lowers stealth by 25%
Full Name: Micheal feedback version 1
Age: adult
Sexuality: bisexual, asexual and polymarous (but fine to be in a single relationship)
Toon type: rare
Gender: male (he/him)
How they would act in-game:
Stats:
Rarity: rare
Role: distraction/stunner
Hearts 🤍🤍🤍
Speed:⭐⭐⭐⭐(17.5 walking, 27.5 running)
Stamina:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️
skill check:⭐⭐⭐️
Stealth: 0 stars (-5)
extraction speed: ⭐⭐⭐
(Yes I know, sorta OP stats, the abilities will make it make sense)
ability 1:
Mic drop
Micheal slams their mic into the floor, creating a shockwave. stunning any nearby twisted for 2 seconds and disabling their hurtboxes in that time, also attracts all twisted attention within the range of the ability,
using it on a stunned twisted extends the time of stun up to 9 seconds total (at a time)
The cooldown is a second, for mic to pull the mic back up by the wire
Applies one stack of confusion each time it's used for 10 seconds per use
This ability also uses 55 stamina
Repels ranged attacks
Ability 2:
supersonic
Micheal begins using sound waves to vibrate at a rapid pace, allowing him to move much faster when walking (he would have 35 speed, the equivalent of a seven star speed toon running )
in exchange, he is losing all stars in extraction and skill check until the end of the floor, and can't run while using the ability, he also looses 3.5 stamina per second when this is In use, if he runs out of stamina, he can't move again until panic mode, or he fully recovers his stamina, plus, the speed is hard to control
His legs also do the super peel out thing sonic's does in sonic CD (becoming a ♾️ shape) when moving, and he flicks in and out of visibility (not enough to be useful, it's cosmetic)
Last cosmetic change when it happens, his eyes turn grey
strategey:
STAY AWAY FROM PUMPS
I cannot stress this enough, stay away from pumps, you are the least stealthy thing in the game, you can be found almost instantly, if you are still, on a mini game, you will die
Micheal is a stunner and distractor, working well with toons like pebble and astro, and being beneficial to toons like vee.
The main strategy with micheal is assisting other toons, with his ability mic drop allowing him to create a area-wide safety net for other toons, and allowing the Micheal player to get out of corners.
Michaels high speed allows him to out walk most twisted, and out-run all twisted's , just barely out speeding twisted pebbles
Michael's low stealth can prove an issue on later floors, when twisted like twisted astro and twisted vee can overwhelm him.
Michaels main use is quick assists, for example, he sees his friend running from multiple main twisted, and runs in with a mic drop, before running away from the situation.
It is recommended to have astro nearby if possible when playing Micheal, as his stamina regeneration abilities allow micheal to see more use, and use his ability more. Along with at least one other distractor (ideally pebble) to prevent him from being rushed when tired
micheals stamina becomes a huge priority when supersonic, but in exchange he becomes insanely fast, allowing him to out speed
Despite being high-matinence, if played correctly Micheal can be integral to a team
Ideal trinkets for him:
dog plush + speedy shoes
The classic distractor set up
water cooler + friendship bracelet:
Despite the speed debuff, the water cooler is worth it, and the friendship bracelet can give forty stamina if everyone is alive, and if you are playing your role as this character correctly, they should be. Micheal is already fast, so the 5 percent debuff is not much. In total you gain 90 stamina.
This adds up to 290 stamina, more than enough for most situations
sweet charm + thermos
this set-up is geared towards more frequent but brief encounters, get in, get out, with the thermos to regen stamina faster, and the sweet charm reducing the stamina cost of your ability by 8 precent (new cost of ability is 64.4 instead of 70) and reduce the speed of stamina drain with supersonic to 2.5 per second
savoury charm and sweet charm:
This is for supersonic usage, allowing for easier use of the ability, and a backup if it crashes
Bad trinkets for him:
Purses: mid
any extraction speed boosters: I cannot stress this enough, stay away from pumps, you are the least stealthy thing in the game, you can be found almost instantly, if you are still, on a mini game, you will die
Wrench: same as above
Performance check boosters: same as above
night cap: see above
vees remote is actually fine.
bone: you can? Kinda sucky but you do you

Hockey player au! Simon "Ghost" Riley headcanons. Based on the NHL
Note: suggestive of ghoap and ghoap x reader (she/her used)
Goalie. Starter. Tall, large, and most importantly: weird. Goalies are always weird, idk they just are, it's what happens when you spend half the game hanging out alone I guess
The best part of goalie Ghost is his flexibility. Have you seen how flexible goalies are? These huge, muscular men can do the splits. It's very important to me that you consider flexible Ghost, thank you.
His mask is black and white, matches his tattoos. He's the unshakable goalie, not flashy, never frustrated. Just a brick fuckin wall. If he sees it, he's going to stop it. You cannot snipe on him and score. Also his rebound control is unreal, no second chances.
He never retaliates against opposing players fucking with him because no one fucks with him due to:
His death glare, it's enough to make any and every enforcer or net nuisance shake in his skates
The Incident in the minors where he sent a guy to the hospital with a jab from his blocker and almost got kicked out of the league and banned from the NHL
On the off chance that something untoward does happen on accident, someone else will do that for him. The bond between a goalie and his defensemen cannot be understated. Ok fine. Soap. He's the defenseman, there's the spoiler.
Very superstitious, has his routines and does not deviate. Doesn't ever take his mask off on the ice, except when it breaks. Doesn't even pull it up to squirt water on his face or drink.
The loyalty that his skaters have towards him and vice versa is off the charts. Even if the media and fans don't see it, it's there. Usually guys don't speak poorly of their goalies, but this is on another level. Ferda.
Speaking of, social media people can never catch him. Like seriously where does this guy even walk in the building?? Where does he go during intermission?? Surely he practices at some point right?? He won the Veznia trophy (voted best goalie) and straight up did not show up to the ceremony.
He will go to the children's hospital to do visits with the team and the kids are either terrified or love him. Picturing him giving out the little teddy bears 😭
Caught covid despite his vigilant PPE usage (hockey locker rooms are cesspools like ew), got really sick, and developed myocarditis; ie almost died multiple times, recovered insanely fast and then just showed back up to practice one day at 100% like "put me in coach". No one outside of the trainers and locker room even knew why he was gone to begin with. Wild stuff.
Hockey players tend to tack on an '-y' or sometimes '-er' to a name for funsies but no one gets to call him 'Ghosty'. (Maybe Soap can call him that in private, as a treat 🥺)
Hockey hair status: he shaves his head boooo (not that you'd even be able to tell really with his mask and use of hats and hoods). Won't even grow out facial hair during the playoffs. Maybe if he did then he'd have a cup. Smh.
Roster pic: the meanest mug you've ever seen on a guy
Mic'd up status: everyone thinks he's unmic-able, however he's secretly telling jokes to himself when the puck is in the other zone. But no one needs to know that.
WAG status: if he had one we would never know... Right? He's always in the background of photos that Soap's girlfriend takes and posts of her and Soap? Much speculation.
...
I do NOT consent for my works, part of my works, or my ideas to be used for ANY form of AI.
Note: WAG stands for wife and girlfriend or the plural, used to refer to sports guys significant others. Yes it is heteronormative.
A/N: I'll never actually write fics for this, but I have headcanons. I know a moderate amount about hockey and next to nothing about cod so apologies. Completely unserious. Just some silly little thoughts :) plus letterkenny reference!
Edit for typo
More hockey au: Soap | Gaz | Price
#simon ghost riley#john soap mactavish#purposely suggestive of:#ghoap#ghoap x reader#my writing#hockey au#whats up 1am posting is back baby#1am posting is in fact not good!

How would Connor track his wife’s period? Especially with Endo.
Every Cycle, Every Time
Summary: When your wife has endometriosis, her menstrual cycle isn’t just a calendar event—it’s a high-alert window for pain, flares, and unpredictable complications. Connor doesn’t just remember her cycle. He tracks it. Logs it. Prepares for it. Not out of control, but out of care. Because when it comes to endo, a few days’ notice can make all the difference—and for Connor, loving her means being ready before the pain even starts.
It started early in their relationship—back when she was still brushing off the warning signs with tight smiles and “It’s fine, just cramps.” Back when Connor hadn’t yet seen how deeply her body could betray her every month.
The first time it got bad—really bad—he was caught off guard.
He’d come home late, scrubs still streaked from a trauma case, to find her curled in a ball on the bathroom floor, shaking and pale, bleeding heavily, and barely able to talk through the pain.
That was the last time he let her go through it without a system in place.
Now, he tracked everything.
He didn’t rely on her cycle being “regular” because with endo, it rarely was. He used a secure app linked to their shared health log, paired with a backup calendar in his phone labeled only Y/N Cycle – High Alert.
But Connor went beyond basic tracking.
He knew the patterns. The shifts in her sleep a week before. The sudden headaches two days out. The quiet withdrawal in her voice when the fatigue started creeping in.
He prepped the apartment the way a trauma room gets prepped for incoming code.
Heating pads plugged in and waiting. Infusion kits restocked. Nausea meds drawn and ready. A fresh bottle of ginger tea cold in the fridge, and the softest sweats laid out near the bed.
Three days before her expected start, Connor would casually check in:
“You want to shift to Tylenol PM tonight or still good with your regular meds?”
“Anything feel off today?”
“You’ve been rubbing your back more—want me to get the TENS unit out?”
She always caught on. “You’re in pre-cycle prep mode, aren’t you?”
He’d smile softly. “I’d rather be ahead than chasing symptoms.”
During her period, he logged everything.
• Flow severity.
• Pain scale (even when she swore she was “fine”).
• Color and texture of clots if they showed up.
• Blood pressure drops.
• Nausea episodes.
• Any signs of uterine atony or instability.
Not for paranoia—but for patterns. Because endo flares were sneaky, and if he could find a rhythm in the chaos, he could make her life a little easier.
He’d leave her alone when she needed space but never strayed far.
Every hour or so, he’d come in silently, rest a hand on her forehead, or brush his knuckles across her knotted belly to feel the tension. Sometimes he’d just sit with her, legs folded, letting Charlie rest his chin on her hip while she dozed.
Once, Ava caught him scribbling flare notes on a post-it in the staff lounge.
She raised an eyebrow. “You know, most husbands don’t track their wives’ uterine lining like it’s a full-time ICU patient.”
He didn’t even look up. “Most husbands aren’t married to someone with stage four endo and a history of uterine hemorrhage. I like to be prepared.”
Ava nodded slowly. “You’re terrifying. In the best way.”
Every flare wasn’t preventable.
But Connor’s tracking gave them a framework. A rhythm. A safety net.
And every time she made it through a particularly bad week without needing a hospital run, she’d glance at him from the couch and whisper, “Thank you for knowing before I do.”
He’d just kiss her temple and say, “Always.”
Because for Connor, love wasn’t just about the big moments.
It was in the charts, the logs, the warm tea, and the quiet readiness.
Every cycle. Every time.

The Four Symbols
"According to the archaeological evidence, the concept of the Four Symbols may have existed as early as China’s Neolithic period (some 6,000 years ago). This is based on some clam shells and bones forming the images of the Azure Dragon and the White Tiger that were found in a tomb in Henan." "I Ching (易經), a Chinese divination text also known as the Book of Changes, traces the roots of the Four Symbols back to the beginnings of the world. It alleges that they were bred from the famous ring of yin-yang (陰陽), which instils order upon the chaotic spirit of Taiji (太極)."
Four Guardians, Four Gods, Four Auspicious Beast
Each corresponds to a quadrant in the sky, with each quadrant containing seven seishuku, or star constellations (also called the 28 lunar mansions or lodges; for charts, see this outside site). Each of the four groups of seven is associated with one of the four celestial creatures. There was a fifth direction -- the center, representing China itself -- which carried its own seishuku.
The four Symbols hold significant symbolic meaning in cosmology and culture. They represent harmony and balance od the universe. The represent the harmony and balance of the universe. Each symbol governing a specific direct , season and set of elements. The symbols are associated with the five elements theory, which is crucial in traditional medicine , Feng Shui, and astrology. The also represent the cyclical nature of time, as they are closely tied to the Chines zodiac and the twelve Earthy branches.
The Four symbols paly a significant role in Shines astrology particularly in the Chinese zodiac, each symbol is associated with the specific year within the 12-year zodiac cycle, along with the five elements (wood, fire, earth, metal, and water) The combination of the symbol and the element determines the characteristics and destiny of individuals born in the particular year. The four symbol also influence their astrological systems, such as the Eight Characters (BaZi) and the Four Pillars of Destiny.
I thought I compare the LMK versions of them to the real mythology.
Vermilion Bird: Symbol of the South
Vermilion Bird aka Phoenix or Zhuniao, is the symbol of the southern direction. It is associated with the season of summer and represents the element of fire. It is the symbol of rebirth, immortality, and prosperity. It is also often associated with love, beauty, and passion.
Color- Red
Time of Day - Midady
Appearance: said to have chicken’s head, swallow’s chin, snake’s neck, fish’s tail, and five-color feather. ;or A mythical bird with colorful plumage and radiant feathers.
Its seven mansions are the Well, Ghosts, Willow, Star, Extended Net, Wings and Chario
Black Tortoise: The Symbol of the North
The Black Tortoise aka Black Warrior, Xuanwu is the symbol of the northern direction. Associated with the season of winter and element of water. Believed to bring protection and longevity. It is also associated with knowledge and wisdom and the control of water.
Color- Black
Time of Day- Midnight
Appearance: A giant tortoise with a snake wrapped around its back
Its seven mansions are the Dipper, Ox, Girl, Emptiness, Rooftop, Encampment and Wall.
Azure Dragon: Symbol of the East
Azure Dragon aka Blue Dragon or Qinglong, representing the easter direction. The ruler of the sky and is associated with the season of spring, the element of wood and is believed to being harmony and good fortune to those who embrace its energy.
Color: Blue- green
Time of Day - Dawn
Looks – serpent like body, deer-like antlers, fish-like scales and eagle-like claws.
The Azure Dragon as it is said that when the seven mansions in that area (Horn, Neck, Root, Room, Heart, Tail, and Winnowing Basket) are joined up, they form the shape of a dragon
White Tiger: The Symbol of the West
White tiger aka Baihu, is the guardian of the western direction. Associated with the season of autumn and the element of metal. Believed to represent strength, courage, and protection. Its is also associated with the celestial guardian of the west a powerful deity known as Xuanwu
Color- White
Time of Day- Dusk
Appearance: a creature with a tiger's body and lions' mane.
the White Tiger, and its seven mansions are the Legs, Bond, Stomach, Hairy Head, Net, Turtle Beak and Three Stars.
it was held to be the God of War. In this capacity, the White Tiger was seen as a protector and defender, not just from mortal enemies, but also from evil spirits.
A symbol of force and army, and so many things entitled White Tiger in ancient China are related to military affairs. For instance, the white tiger banner in the ancient army and the white tiger image on the Commander’s Tally. In the Han Dynasty, the White Tiger was usually carved on the stone relief of a tomb door, or on the lintel of a tomb passage with the Azure Dragon, to ward off evil spirits.
This puts a lot together and I'm impressed with the details that the show animators and designers put into their character designs.
Also..
Yellow Dragon: Symbol of Central
Yellow Dragon aka Qilin the symbol if the Central direction, and is associated with the season Midsummer and the element earth.
Color: Yellow
--
Comparing them they share the colors with the stones and the yellow dragon (central) seems to correspond with the jade emperor's yellow stone. Once again love the show details.
Nearly forgot about this and left it in the drafts wanted to post this then completely forget them.

Don't ask what I'm doing I'm not doing anything (VBS Data Stream guys look at it)
Kohane An Akito Toya and Luka
(actually nice and finished looking lyrics under cut)
Eventually, all walls meet demolition
So Wall Street had to keep the tradition
Their financial systems resigned to ignition
And out of the ashes, we have arisen
An empire is forged in the fire of ambition
In business, there isn't the time for attrition
Invest to suppress then ingest competition
Then each acquisition is new ammunition
When governments crumble and fall to the floor
That was paved with the graves of a corporate war
A fundament funded in blood just to shore
A foundation for founding our covenant
Born of a need for control of societal entropy
Enterprise at the price of your indemnity
Chart out the course and of course you were meant to be
Bent to the will of a corporate entity
Arasaka Security. You're in safe hands
We're the light in your screens, we're the lead in your veins
Then you wake from your dreams, so we can sell them again
In the light we distract with the shiny and new
So you're blind to the fact that the product is you
So let your brain dance and replay the dream
But don't drown in the data stream
'Cause we see where you are and we see where you go
'Cause we know what you own and we own what you know
From the top of all our towers, the corridors of power clearly need rewiring
Arasaka saw the spark and then embarked upon the path to turn that spark to lightning
There's no autonomous megalopolis so populous or prosperous you could reside in
And every citizen that's living in this city is a digit on the charts we're climbing
Political systems are too inefficient
They split like the atom and burned in the fission
Now every department and every decision
Defer to the herds of our corporate divisions
If you don't remember the ballot you cast
It's printed on every receipt you were passed
Each time you selected our products and services
We were elected in each of your purchases
What's left to do when you've got the monopoly?
Turn the consumer into the commodity
It isn't hard where you've hardware neurology
Honestly, do read the company policy
Take information and trade it for wealth
You pay it in each augmentation we sell
It's easy to cut out the middleman
When he's cut out most of himself
Arasaka Finance. Investing in your future
(chorus)
All that you say on the net we composite
To maps that go straight from your head to your pocket
Complain if you want, you're still making deposits
Of data — each day you log on is a profit
Society currently lists electronic
So isn't conducting resistance ironic?
We've plenty of skeletons locked in our closets
But yours are assembled from old-stock hydraulics
So lucky we know just the pieces you need
All plucked from your social media feeds
The places you go and the posts that you read
All snatched for a new algorithm to feed
Now, holding our gold isn't par for the brand
Our silver is sat in the palm of your hand
Quit whining and sign on the line in the sand
The supply does not get to make the demands
(chorus)
Arasaka Manufacturing. Building a better tomorrow
Name, age, qualifications
Race, faith, career aspirations
Political leaning, daily commute
Marital status, favourite fruit
Family, browser, medical history
Hobbies, interests, brand affinity
Fashion, style, your occupation
Gender identity, orientation
Lifestyle choices, dietary needs
The marketing contact you choose to receive
Posts, likes, employers, friends
Social bias, exploitable trends
Tastes, culture, phone of choice
Facial structure, the tone of your voice
If it's inside your head, we know
You can't escape the ebb and flow
(chorus)
When guiding the hand of the market
If it's holding a cheque or a gun
The fingers go deep in your pockets
And you can live under the thumb
You seem so surprised, what did you expect?
We're thinking outside of that box that you checked
The terms were presented in full to inspect
You scrolled to the end just to get to "Accept"
Arasaka would like to know your location
Arasaka would like to know your location
Arasaka would like to know your location
Arasaka would like to know your location

The Walrus
There'd been no skill to it. The Nocera had ridden out the waves as a hailstone rides a thunderstorm, less sailing than surviving - their fumbling for control with rudder and sailcloth just adding another direction to the chaos. They'd strained against the drawing of the winds, or they'd leant into them, and it had seemed to make no difference either way.
Captain Garath had still shouted the commands, trying to project an aura of authority, but in the knowledge that they'd long since ceded their sovereignty to the briny blue. Their lives were no longer theirs to live - his fate, and those of his sailors, no longer in his hands. All that they could do was let the maelstrom lead them in its deadly dance, and hope that it might grow tired in toying with its food.
They'd suffered for a day, a night, a lifetime - cheating death one swell at a time, or simply drawing out the process of their dying. The Nocera was buffeted from fore to aft, from port to starboard, lurching and writhing as if in the spasms of a deathly fever. Her crew had held fast to anything in reach - to the railings, to each other, and to their dwindling hopes of making it through the storm alive.
But survived they had. They were cast onto an island, or at least a large enough rock - after days at sea, they were not in a position to split hairs. Anything solid felt like a miracle. The crew had stumbled from the wreck to stretch their shaking legs, falling or kneeling down to kiss the stone, and thanked the heavens, their luck, and the skill of their Cap'n at the helm for their salvation. Garath knew it had been nothing but pure chance, the odds falling for once in his favour, but he saw no reason to disabuse them of their admiration.
That had been a week ago. Since then, he'd worked to turn their gratitude into graft, rising to the faith they'd shown in him to lead them to true safety. Survival was a chore that needed tending every day, as he informed his crew, and there would be no resting on their laurels, awaiting the second miracle of a rescue. They had to adapt their mariner's skills to land, swiftly learning how to fill their changing, pressing needs.
The Nocera was a hulk of splintered wood, but they were fortunate that their stores of ship's water remained mostly full and intact, and the isle was rich in potential sources of food - or one source, and just a great deal of it. The rock was home to hordes of shambling, blubbery creatures, all flippers and whiskers and tusks, but easily felled by a much smaller hand. Perhaps they would be graceful in water, but on the rock they only huddled or waddled in masses of rolling fat, easily snared and harvested with cutlass blades.
The crew had taken to land more gracefully. Each of them had different talents that could prove useful, as Garath oversaw. Rigging could be turned to nets, to capture prey, and those who worked the rope or knew their knots could there be put to a productive use. The ship's cook was engaged in skinning and rendering the beasts they'd slain - if the thick, oily hides could be accounted for as skin. The surgeon helped with that as well. The quartermaster oversaw the sorting, salting and storing of their meat, and the rationing of its serving.
Captain Garath possessed none of those talents individually - only knowing how to read a chart and command the others on his ship, never having sullied himself with the more menial tasks aboard - but he saw the overall picture, and came to see that as a talent of his own. His skill, as he rationalised it, was in the command of his crew. He was a quartermaster of people, and saw that each was allocated their fit and proper role, and performed their fair share of the labour of survival. Without him, they would be no more than a shambling rabble of beasts themselves.
He saw that management as his own share of their labour, and preferred to keep to the familiar confines of his ruptured cabin whilst his underlings performed the simple task of bludgeoning the beasts to death. But that was not to say he did not contribute to their work. It had been his idea, for example, to set their empty barrels to catch the rain, so that they need not fear to die of thirst. He had been the one to instruct the cook to keep not only the edible flesh, but also to separate the fat, the oil, the skin, to be repurposed to a future use. He saw the bigger picture - and seemed, at least in his view, to be the only one who saw the need to plan ahead.
At first, the crew had set upon the isle's inhabitants with wild abandon, chasing them into uncontrolled stampedes which saw far more killed than needed, lost in tusk-related accidents. Garath had looked out on a scene of mindless slaughter, and looked away in disgust. He liked to think himself a man of the world, but he was also a man who thought before he acted. Although he would not flinch at the blood of slaughter, mindlessness was something he would not abide.
The crew had only been marooned for hours before their bloodshed had marooned the rock beneath them - and, once Garath had composed himself and ventured out to join them, he found himself sickened at the red tide which now lapped against his soles. His hands had discarded good meat with the offal, leaving much of each carcass to rot and attract the seabirds which now perched atop the ribs of the Nocera, as if they, and not the sea, had pecked its own cadaver clean.
"Since when do we stay the knife when prey is in our reach?" The crew had built up some momentum in their massacre, and resisted his restraining hand on their collars. "Are we to live in peace with our new neighbours?"
"I do not call for mercy," he lectured them. "Only restraint. Worry not over my appetite for bloodshed, but your own appetite for meat. We cannot eat what you have harvested today before it fouls. We can barely store it."
"But we've always hunted whales on sight," another called in response. "Even if only to let the body sink beneath the waves. We are not hagfish, to suck the meat from every bone. We are the shark which only eats its fill, and leaves the leavings for the birds."
"The rules of the ocean do not apply to land," Garath explained. "We are no longer atop an endless sea of bounties. Here, where our resources are limited, we must behave less like ravenous predators and more like rational men. You act in anticipation of a swift rescue, but we do not know how long we will be stranded here. Weeks. Months. Years. At the current rate, there will be no beasts left to slaughter. We cannot squander this gift in a single gluttonous feast."
"We could store more of the meat, if you had not insisted on dedicating barrels to-"
"We can store everything we need, out on the rock, if we simply leave the beasts alive until we need them." He was losing patience. "Nature has provided us the living barrels of their bodies. We have food here for as long as we need it, but only if we cultivate it wisely."
"There are not so many of them left," another caller considered, bypassing Garath's words entirely in responding to his mate. "I reckon we can store them after all. Herd the rest into the remains of the ship, and kill them as the space becomes available."
"Not so many?" Garath sighed at their short-sightedness. "We have a sustainable population here. If you slaughter them all now, yes, this is all we have. Fewer, now, thanks to your recklessness. But leave the rest as they are, and we'll have restored our losses next year. Do you understand? This is our future you are sacrificing. Each beast contains not only its own muscle and fat, but the potential for a litter when they come to breed. An endless supply. We have stumbled upon a acreage of planted farmland, and you would trade it for a single harvest today."
Once the basic principles were hammered home, he began to guide the hands in more specific ways. The Nocera may have made it here without Garath's navigational skill, but he'd be needed to chart their course to the future. On walking amongst his erstwhile sailors, he found that their killing had not been indiscriminate, as he had feared, but worse - they had hunted down the largest of the beasts in priority, as if a greater rambling mound made for the most impressive prize, or simply seemed to be the ripest fruit to pick.
"It's more efficient, isn't it?" Owain was attempting to take his teachings on board. "More meat from one kill, rather than the same from two smaller beasts. Right? It keeps a larger population here."
"But it keeps them smaller."
"How'd you mean?" The mate scratched his head. "Sorry, Cap'n, but I don't follow."
Garath sighed, stroking the ends of his moustache as he sought a simpler way to explain. Owain was trying, but follow was just about all that he could do. He was sharp enough to understand Garath's orders, but not enough to think strategically himself. "I'm planning longer term than that. If we only leave the runts, then soon runts is all we'll have. I'd rather let the largest live to breed. Trim the dead leaves, and encourage new growth."
Time moved on, and his bleakest prophesies came true. Weeks passed. Months. Garath didn't relish their shared plight - blubber and rock, in the scant shelter of their rotting wreck - but it was nice to be vindicated. The crew had settled into a functional colony, and this time he felt he could claim the credit for their survival. Teach a group of men to bludgeon their dinner to death, and they could eat for a day. Teach them restraint, and they could eat for the rest of their lives.
He had set them running, and now they needed less and less input from him. A little course correction, here and there. He had broadly retired to the remains of his cabin to rest, and reap the rewards of his previous good work: the fruit of the orchard he had planted, the system he had built. He left the day-to-day maintenance to the others. If he didn't feel like stirring, they would even bring his rations to his cabin door. Or their disputes, or issues for him to resolve, which seemed to be fewer and fewer as they settled into their new life.
Or sometimes just bad news.
"It's glum tidings, Cap'n, I'm afraid."
"Out with it, Owain." Garath rushed to make himself presentable, flattening his hair and overgrown moustaches. The crew might have less need for a captain now, but he still needed to look the part. "And show yourself in. I won't have a conversation with you in the doorway."
"They weren't just the smallest. The runts, I mean."
"They were the pups," Garath realised, and allowed a moment of regret before he rallied. "No matter. Our plans were for the longer term, weren't they? Next breeding season will bring a fresh harvest, a new generation, and that time we will be more discerning. We've still got time to learn from our mistakes."
"Not the young," Owain said, in the tone of a man delivering news of a loved one's passing. "It was the females, Cap'n. All of the females are dead."
"All of them?"
"Surgeon said it's easy to tell the difference, once you're the one dissecting them. You separated up the jobs, of course, so he wasn't part of the hunting party, and figured there were just more females here. Some animals are like that, he said. He didn't know we had none left until the males started coming through, and thought to comment on the change."
"We're already working through the males?" Garath tried to remember how many there had been, in his sustainable population. How long did they have, before he needed to pray for another miracle?
"We're going to run out," Owain confirmed. "We've been talking, as a crew, about it. You know you told us we need to think about these things. Make our own decisions. Well, it seems we're going to need to find another source of meat. If some of us are to survive, you see."
"The seabirds?" There was Garath's prayer. Nothing but desperation.
"Not the seabirds, Cap'n. Each other."
The world seemed to slip beneath Garath's feet, as much as when the Nocera had been pitching on the waves, but he drew on his last reserves of strength. He had to be a leader. The crew would need him now more than ever. "Drawing of lots, is it? I hear that's the custom of the sea, when desperate times need desperate measures. The answer to the delicate question. Keep it random, keep it fair."
"But we're not at sea, Cap'n." Owain seemed larger, inside the cabin. Their daily slaughter had kept the ship's hands strong. "You told us that yourself. The rules of the ocean do not apply to land, right? You taught us better. For instance, there'd be no sense eating the cook, if he's the one man who might make such forbidden meat tolerable. We've got to prioritise. Pick the man who contributes the least to contribute first, see."
"I got you to this island," Garath said. Each word was a prayer now. "I saved your lives. What if you need me to do it again?"
"We do, Cap'n." Owain had his cutlass in his hand. "That's why I'm here."

I have a silly idea, it's kabedon primarch! I think I read too many romcom manga.
Yep, this is so silly and cute. To kabedon a primarch, you will need a chair or a ladder. And stop give me those idea...
You browsed the planetary net, sipping your morning recaf, when an article headline caught your eye - "5 Ways to Make Anyone Fall For You, According To Science."
Intrigued, you clicked through. Most tips involved chemistry tricks or dubious psychology. But one stood out - "kabedon", a technique from ancient Terran drama.
"Kabedon - pinning the object of your desires against the wall with one arm to imply dominance and intimacy. Studies show increased heart rates and endorphin releases prove its effectiveness!"
The article claimed a study found kabedoning increased heart rates and hormonal attraction indicators in subjects. You hummed thoughtfully. As a highly skilled agent, you didn't need such parlor tricks. But you were ever curious, could it really be that easy to disarm even primarch-level self control? Only one way to find out…
Seeking your target, you soon found your primarch, Roboute Guilliman poring over tactical charts in his chambers. Perfect. "Excuse me, Lord Guilliman," you began innocently. "Might I have a word?"
Guilliman nodded without looking up. "Of course, what-"
Before he could finish, you lunged, leaping onto a nearby chair and slamming both hands against the wall on either side of Guilliman's massive frame with a resounding crack. He jolted in shock, eyes wide as you leaned in intently.
The Primarch let out an undignified squawk, dataslate flying, as he found himself suddenly pinned before a beaming you. You murmured in your smoothest sultry tone. "So, tell me. Does your heart beat faster when you look at me?"
Guilliman gaped soundlessly, gaze flicking from your grin to the web of fractures radiating from your pinning hand across the reinforced ceramcrete.
"I, uh-" Guilliman glanced about frantically for an answer before realized two things: one, you were precariously balanced on a chair to reach the wall. Two, both hands were now clutching desperately at the fractured surface to maintain that unstable perch. His panic dissipated into stunned amusement.
His lips quirked into a reluctant smile. "I…well, you startled me is all. And that chair cannot support your weight forever."
As if on cue, the aged wooden legs creaked ominously. You hastily hopped down, coughing. "Ahem. Well, does proximity to me affect you at all?" You wheedled.
"Good effort, agent. But next time, try not to break my building in the process."
You huffed, dropping your hands with a pout. "It was a legitimate dating tactic! The article said kabedon causes attraction! But I may have underestimated human heigh versus primarch."
Guilliman chuckled, reaching to lightly ruffle your hair in a rare affectionate gesture. "I am sure it works on many. But for a Primarch like myself, mere wall pinning will not suffice!"
You scowled and swatted his hand away "Mark my words, lord Guilliman, one day I will make your heart race whether you wish it or no!"
Guilliman couldn't help a smile now at your put-out expression. Stepping close, he took your hands gently in his. "My heart races every time I see you."
Your scowl softened into a smile. But a thoughtful look crossed your features. "Hmm, what if I brought you your favorite meal dressed in just an apron?"
Guilliman choked and began coughing violently. You smiled, unrepentant, and made a note to test that theory soon…

Pluto enters Aquarius, Saturday, January 20, 2024
The hype of this transit is getting a little out of control so I will take this opportunity to keep it real! Nothing is going to happen over night. It will affect society as a whole more than anything else as well. As the slowest moving planet in our solar system, the transitions invoked under this energy will be a progression. How it impacts you personally requires a study of where it transits your birth chart but this belief that it’s a finite moment and everything will suddenly change is a false belief.
In the same breath I will also say that it is kind of a big deal. But in order to comprehend why, we must understand Pluto’s energies. Coined as the planet of transformation, Pluto is much much more than that. That’s just scratching the surface of what this energy is.
In placement perspective, Pluto is the last planet and furthest away in our solar system. He’s like the mysterious emo kid dressed in black hanging out in the back of the class stirring things up that nobody else can see because they’re facing forward. Pluto is all about bringing things to the surface, reincarnation, solidarity. He also giveth and he taketh away. Pluto is the eliminator but also the redeemer. The definition of death and rebirth. More specifically, the stages after death and before rebirth.
It takes Pluto 242 years to transit through every sign of the zodiac. So you can easily see its influence through historical events if you look. Empires, civilizations and societal structures all fall and rise with each zodiacal transition.
People generally see this as menacing energy because it deals with uncomfortable things. Most of all, change. His job is to uncover what is hidden in the dark and that’s rarely comfortable for most of us. But like the lotus flower that is born in the depths of the mud, the focus of these energies should be the beauty that is created as it comes into the light.
Now that Pluto is entering a new sign, we are at the dawn of all things changing from structured and disciplined Capricorn transformation to the new age Aquarius flavor. So what is being torn down and being rebuilt? What will be Pluto’s focus in Aquarius? In the next 20 years it will flip the script on topics like technology, the internet, societal groups, community connection, networking and not to be left out, Capricornian political structures. Basically, how we are all connected is about to get a complete overhaul. Pluto can be black and white and quite dramatic too so the tea is about to be spilled on topics considered taboo. We’ve been seeing these things come to the surface over the last year since Pluto dipped its toes in Aquarius early last year before its retrograde. He won’t be done with Capricorn this year either as it will retrograde back to Capricorn one more time in September doing a final sweep this year on Capricorn topics. Most of all, finances and governments. Why? Because Capricorn rules governments and societal structures and Pluto is ultimate power over the masses. What happens this year will be completely irreversible. It creates change on a collective level. Aquarius is all about societal groups as a whole as well. So significant and evolutionary changes will impact us all over the next 20 years.
Though black and white in its behavior, it is not cut and dry. There’s an unconscious drive in all of us that will influence these changes. Almost like self sabotage but for the betterment of our future. It is the back seat driver of our destiny.
So what direction are we heading in and what is your influence on that? That’s the free will part of this existence. Are you hanging on to the old structures or are you embracing the inevitable changes towards our future? As a group of people on this plane under the singular net we call earth, understand that we either make it harder on ourselves by hanging on to old ways or we float freely and easily with the currents progressively moving forward. Either way, change is coming and it won’t be easy but we actually get to decide how we go about this. This energy isn’t telling us what we don’t already know. It’s just asking us to acknowledge what requires change. What has been suppressed? Where have we been turning a blind eye? Surprise!! We can’t ignore it any more.
Personally, I plan to completely let go of the fears bestowed upon me by the people we have put in control and begin to governing myself along side the ones I love in the manner that resonates most harmoniously between us and how we see fit. I will embrace the dawning of this new era.

SFW prompt #4
Pairing: manager!oc x rapper!Hongjoong
Genre: Fluff
Wordcount: 600 words
Rating: sfw
Nets: @mirohs-aurora-society @othersideoutlawsnetwork @illusionnet
My version of this prompt from Illusion Net: *skips into the kitchen* "Kiss?" *skips away after receiving*
When you think of fourth generation rappers, only one name pops up. Kim Hongjoong. He first started out as an underground rapper, doing rap battles back-to-back and winning one every single time. He even went up against the legendary third generation rapper Agust D! Or Min Yoongi as his fans call him by. Did Hongjoong lose? Yeah. Was it worth it though and did he have any shame afterwards or was a sore loser? Absolutely not! If anything, he just got even luckier. Yoongi saw potential in Hongjoong and offered to sign him to his record label.
Suga Records.
Hongjoong immediately said yes and soon, he was on the rise to fame. He collabed with another rapper signed under Yoongi. His name was Park Seonghwa. Their single, Matz, topped the charts and they opened up for big names like Tiger JK, Flowsik, DPR Live, and the most recent rapper they opened up for a few minutes ago.
The Quiett.
Hongjoong and Seonghwa were currently backstage, still hopped up on the adrenaline rush they felt when they opened up for The Quiett. As they were talking, the door to the dressing room creaked open and a head popped in. Hongjoong saw his face and he immediately felt flustered.
“Your manager needs to see you, Seonghwa.”
Cho Ajax was Hongjoong’s manager. Most people view him as a strict man. He never smiles, always blocks out any fans that try to sneak photos of Hongjoong, is somewhat controlling over Hongjoong’s routine, and is overall the coldest guy Hongjoong’s ever met. He was even sent death threats once! All Ajax did was simply shrug it off.
Hongjoong swore he fell in love with him after experiencing that reaction.
Hongjoong knows Ajax better than anyone else. He only smiles when the two of them are alone, he actually protects Hongjoong better than some of the bodyguards Yoongi hired for Hongjoong, he’s not that controlling of Hongjoong’s life, and he’s a kind man! If you cared enough to try and get to know him.
“What does he need?” Seonghwa asked Ajax.
Ajax shrugged and Seonghwa shrugged as well before getting up and leaving the dressing room so he could see what his own manager needed. Once Ajax was alone with Hongjoong, he strode over to him and sat down next to him. Hongjoong was slightly afraid since Ajax never looked that serious when the two of them were alone. Did he mess up on something?
“Can I get a kiss?”
Hongjoong was baffled. He shoved Ajax and the man laughed loudly before hugging the smaller man tightly.
“You scared me, J! I thought I messed up something!”
“I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to scare you like that!”
Hongjoong pouted and Ajax chuckled lightly before leaning in to kiss him. Hongjoong kissed him back and the two locked lips for a short while before they pulled away from each other before Ajax stood up.
“Ok that’s it. I’mma head out now.”
“You’re an idiot, J!”
“But you love me though.”
Hongjoong couldn’t argue with that. He sighed and stood up as well before hugging Ajax tightly. The man’s tattooed arms encircled the rapper’s lithe waist and lifted him up slightly in the hug before setting him back down. Hongjoong’s heart melted upon seeing the soft smile Ajax had on his handsome face.
“I’ll see you after the show, ok?”
“Ok, J.”
“Hey. Remember that I will always love you.”
“Remember that I will always love you too.”
Ajax kissed Hongjoong once more before leaving the room. In this moment, Hongjoong thanked God everyday for Ajax loving him.

Stop Wasting Money! The ONE Budgeting Trick That Actually Works
Are you tired of feeling like your money slips through your fingers? Do you constantly wonder where it all went at the end of the month? You're not alone. Many people struggle with budgeting, often because they try complex systems that are difficult to maintain. But what if there was a simple, effective budgeting trick that actually works? There is! It's called the 50/30/20 budget, and it might just be the key to finally taking control of your finances.
[Include an image here of someone looking stressed about bills or money, or a graphic representing money slipping through fingers. A simple image of a budget pie chart would also work well.]
This method, popularized by Senator Elizabeth Warren and her daughter Amelia Warren Tyagi in their book "All Your Worth: The Ultimate Lifetime Money Plan," 1 simplifies budgeting by categorizing your spending into three main buckets:
1. Needs (50%): These are your essential expenses – the things you absolutely must pay for. Think:
Housing: Rent or mortgage payments, property taxes, homeowner's insurance
Utilities: Electricity, gas, water, internet, phone bills
Transportation: Car payments, gas, public transportation fares, car insurance
Groceries: Food and household supplies
Healthcare: Insurance premiums, doctor visits, prescriptions
Minimum Debt Payments: Monthly payments on credit cards, student loans, etc. (Only the minimums are included here; extra payments go into the "Wants" or "Savings" categories)
2. Wants (30%): This category covers your discretionary spending – the things you enjoy but aren't essential. This is where you have the most flexibility to cut back if needed. Examples include:
Dining Out: Restaurant meals, takeout coffee
Entertainment: Movies, concerts, streaming subscriptions
Hobbies: Gym memberships, craft supplies, sports leagues
Clothing: Non-essential purchases
Travel: Vacations, weekend getaways
Gifts: Presents for birthdays and holidays
[Include an image here of someone enjoying a "want" – maybe dining out, on vacation, or enjoying a hobby.]
3. Savings & Debt Repayment (20%): This is crucial for your financial future. It includes:
Emergency Fund: Building a cushion for unexpected expenses (job loss, medical bills, car repairs)
Retirement Savings: Contributing to your 401(k), IRA, or other retirement accounts
Debt Repayment (Beyond Minimums): Paying down credit card debt, student loans, or other high-interest debt aggressively
Investments: Investing in stocks, bonds, or other assets
Savings Goals: Saving for a down payment on a house, a new car, or other long-term goals
[Include an image here representing savings goals – maybe a piggy bank, a house, or a graduation cap.]
How to Make the 50/30/20 Budget Work for You:
Calculate Your Net Income: Determine your take-home pay after taxes and other deductions.
Categorize Your Spending: Track your expenses for a month or two to see where your money is currently going. Use budgeting apps, spreadsheets, or even a notebook to monitor your spending in each category.
Allocate Your Income: Based on your net income, calculate how much you should be spending in each category (50%, 30%, 20%).
Adjust as Needed: The 50/30/20 rule is a guideline, not a strict law. You may need to adjust the percentages based on your individual circumstances and financial goals. For example, if you live in a high-cost-of-living area, you might need to allocate a larger percentage to needs.
Track and Review: Regularly monitor your spending to ensure you're staying within your budget. Review your progress monthly and make adjustments as needed.
Benefits of the 50/30/20 Budget:
Simplicity: It's easy to understand and implement.
Flexibility: It allows for adjustments based on individual needs.
Focus on Goals: It encourages saving and debt repayment.
Awareness: It helps you understand where your money is going.
Challenges and How to Overcome Them:
Tracking Expenses: Consistently tracking your spending can be challenging. Use budgeting apps or link your bank accounts to make it easier.
Sticking to the Budget: It can be tempting to overspend in the "Wants" category. Be mindful of your spending habits and prioritize your financial goals.
Unexpected Expenses: Life throws curveballs. Having an emergency fund is crucial for handling unexpected costs without derailing your budget.
Conclusion:
The 50/30/20 budget is a powerful tool for gaining control of your finances. Its simplicity and flexibility make it a sustainable approach to budgeting, allowing you to meet your needs, enjoy your wants, and achieve your financial goals. So, stop wasting money and give this budgeting trick a try. You might be surprised at how much of a difference it can make!

Back home and determined to shake off the recent doldrums.
Long story, but right now my physical health has thrown a real curveball.
Diabetic control - nope. Massive lows now rather than massive highs. But still mostly high.
Mucus thing - off the charts. Seriously.
Sleep - yeah, I've heard of that. Wonder what it's like!
Anyway, I'm easing myself into life as usual.
Short walk (30 mins) at 6am. Followed by a lower body/core home workout.
Then breakfast. My apple, cinnamon and mixed nuts (olive oil and sea salt added). Collagen filter coffee. I've missed my machine while I've been away in the motorhome, lol.
And I'm back to my modified version of ketobiotic.
That's a macro breakdown recommended by Mindy Pelz, who I have read a few books by, and I'm on her FB community group.
She recommends up to 50g net carbs and a minimum of 60% fat. She recommends much less protein than I prefer to have, so that's where the modification comes in.
I am making sure that I include fruit and veg (polyphenols for the win), but I'm not having masses of it.
I'm also trying very hard to keep that fibre up.
I have been using psyllium husk. Excellent thing for adding to my daily diet. I am now trying inulin powder. Another good source of fibre.
I've still got quite a lot of psyllium left, so I've mixed the two together, to get a double benefit, using both at once.
Oh yes, and if you notice the scratches on my leg, that's the fight I had with a very dense part of woodland on my last walk on holiday. Brambles vs me. I call it a draw, because they didn't stop me!
Back to normal 15hr fasting after dinner.
I answered a really nice message here this morning. And I guess today's post is one of those times I'm doing what I talked about in my reply.
This is my individual journey of health. Not every day is fabulous. But neither is every day tough.
Most usually somewhere in between those two markers.

Game Day Challenges: Ensuring Safety & Order in Large Sporting Events

I’m Dr. Ravinder Singal, and for decades, I’ve been in the thick of the action, ensuring that the electric buzz of large sporting events doesn’t tip into chaos. Game Day Challenges aren’t just obstacles – they’re high-stakes puzzles that demand sharp planning, quick thinking, and an unwavering commitment to ensuring public safety during games. From mastering crowd management at sporting events to rolling out ironclad event security strategies, I’ve seen it all.
In this blog, I’m pulling back the curtain on what it takes to keep stadiums safe, sharing stories from the field, and diving into the nuts and bolts of stadium safety protocols, emergency response at stadiums, and large event risk management. Let’s talk about how we make game day crowd control work, so every fan goes home with a smile.
Sporting events are a celebration of passion, but they’re also a pressure cooker. Thousands of fans, fueled by adrenaline, packed into a stadium – it’s thrilling, but it’s also where sports event security planning becomes critical. Whether it’s a cricket showdown, a football clash, or a national athletics meet, managing large crowds at events is like conducting an orchestra: every note has to be perfect. Join me as I walk you through the Game Day Challenges I’ve tackled, leaning on law enforcement at sports venues and cutting-edge event security strategies to keep the game on track.
What Makes Game Day Challenges So Tough?
Let me tell you, Game Day Challenges are a beast. They’re about juggling a dozen risks at once – overcrowding, rowdy fans, medical emergencies, you name it. My years in public safety have taught me that crowd management at sporting events is the heart of a smooth event. One wrong move, like a clogged entry gate or a sluggish emergency response at stadiums, and things can unravel fast. I think back to the Hillsborough Disaster of 1989, where 96 lives were lost because stadium safety protocols weren’t up to par. It’s a grim reminder of what’s at stake.
I remember a cricket match in a buzzing city stadium, with 50,000 fans pouring in. The energy was off the charts, but so was the risk of disorder. We leaned hard on event security strategies, using real-time crowd monitoring and staggered entries to keep things flowing. That day taught me the power of large event risk management – you’ve got to see the storm coming and steer clear before it hits.
Crowd Management at Sporting Events: Reading the Room
Crowd management at sporting events is like reading a room full of excitable, unpredictable people. Fans are riding an emotional rollercoaster, and one spark – a bad call, a big win – can set off a chain reaction. My job is to make game day crowd control feel seamless, so fans don’t notice the safety net. It’s a balancing act: too much security feels oppressive, but too little invites trouble.
At a football match in a lively coastal town, I saw managing large crowds at events in action. We set up stadium safety protocols with clear entry zones and AI tools to track crowd density, dodging bottlenecks before they formed. It reminded me of what went wrong at the 2021 Astro world Festival, where poor crowd control turned deadly. Our event security strategies kept the focus on the game, not the logistics.
I’m a big believer in training. Security teams need to handle everything from drunk fans to serious threats. That’s why I push for law enforcement at sports venues to work hand-in-hand with private security. Their presence alone calms things down, but it’s their knack for defusing tension – maybe with a quick joke or a kind word – that really keeps the peace.
