First of all, I am wildly proud of my dad for finally tackling the hoarding problem in the basement. He's made a huge amount of progress with it in a short amount of time and seems like he's having fun as well. We need space down there, but the idea of forcing him to throw away things he has a clear emotional attachment to feels...bad. So I'm glad he's enjoying himself.

Secondly, he found one of my old knives! I went through a period where, due to the intensity of my intrusive thoughts, I didn't want anything sharp around me so I gave my parents my collection of knives. Thought I'd never see it again, but here we have at least one back!

Thirdly, and to the benefit of everyone, soon I might have a space to move all of my art equipment to so the 'rents get their kitchen table back 😅

You betrayed these people and you should thank your lucky stars they don't know you guys are lying about having "no other choice" than to release Predathos. Your group should be on every religious group's hit list in Exandria (and probably will be on at least a few of the Betrayer God's lists lol).

There's an argument to be made that releasing Predathos was fine because it was inevitable, I say no, they could have defended the barrier till they got reinforcements in, and the Gods could probably have figured out a new containment method. They had defeated Ludinus, there wasn't a big rush anymore, he would need time to recover. But that's pure speculation on my part.

Either way you slice it, whether you feel justified or not, you still just turned these people's lives upside down and your lack of empathy for their pain and confusion sucks.

It's interesting characterization though; she really does have some arrested development going on. Delilah being in her brain for decades can NOT have helped on the "giving af about stranger's feelings even if they aren't acting how you want them to" aspect of growing up.

my stardew farmer ^_^ he doesnt have a green thumb for shit so he keeps animals and does mining

some tidbits i came up with while playing hehe

reclusive and doesnt really go out of his way to talk or visit people unless its an errand. but he also doesnt try to befriend others to get something out of it, so he has a very easygoing approach to making friends. on good terms with linus and sebastian since he runs into them most often.

if he respects or takes a liking to someone, he'll greet them with miss/mister (name). if you get close to him he starts using first name basis. if he doesn't like you, he'll refer to you by your title without using your name. only a few people have caught on to this.

the farm he inherited, Milky Way Farm, was the site of a meteorite crash and sometimes you can find shards of meteor debris littered around the farm (i picked the hilltop farm bc of this lol)

lost his sweater and pants a long ass time ago and doesnt have the time to look for them, so hes been working in his sleep clothes ever since

isnt actually grandpa's real heir to the farm... ;)

we know it has to be waaaayyy over "dozens, hundreds, thousands of loops" because they would have to beat The King multiple times

or at least it would be likely that they do beat The King multiple times just based on my own gameplay

obviously, this wouldn't happen anyways because there's no way Loop wouldn't have completely lost it after the first time they got past The King

i think the central theme of this week's episode is honesty.

faifa was honest about his sadness.

faifa didn't try to conceal it. his sadness was out in the open.

and wine saw it. he saw everything.

everyone knew but him. again. how could they? how could she?

"let's hug."

physical touch; i believe this is one of wine's love languages. and I believe this is something faifa truly treasures. an existing comfort wrapping him in a tight hug after another tiring day of enduring.

"i don't like when mom goes there. it makes me feel like when she brought me back here. like I'm being abandoned over and over."

faifa was afraid of that loneliness. he was fearful of that haunting feeling, that reality of his mother choosing everything but him—to leave him behind when she moved on and found her happiness.

"but everything's getting better. because you're always here to hug me."

faifa knew that wine would be there to embrace him—his happiness, sadness, all of him. faifa knew wine would be there. he wouldn't disappear.

and that was faifa being as honest as he could with wine in this moment of susceptibility—by saying that wine would stay.

"have you ever thought about how to move past these feelings?" "never."

and it's okay. it's okay to still be in this state of frustration and confusion and tiredness and hopelessness. it's okay to feel. because now, faifa wouldn't experience this alone—wine would be here. wine would shoulder those feelings when they overwhelmed him. wine would hug him tight and whisper those sweet words; all those nothings and everything.

because this sadness was no longer consuming—this sadness was no longer lonely.

faifa was honest with his disappointment.

maybe faifa didn't want to believe it. maybe he wanted to be ensured that he and wine were always on the same page. but how could he not have these thoughts when he knew how much p'tor had affected wine? how could he not be disappointed—when there was still a possibility that wine might not reciprocate his feelings?

because faifa was so used to giving and not receiving—he should've known better.

"i need to get ready for my performance." "do you want me to come with you?" "no, it's fine." "stay with your friends."

perhaps faifa didn't want wine to stay with toey and p'tor. perhaps he wanted wine to follow him. but faifa was never selfish. and faifa was never someone who would fight a losing battle. so he left. he left his love on the table—he left wine with someone who might take wine away from his life forever.

and he was alone again. he was isolated from the world again.

because this was where he believed he should belong—to nobody.

wine was honest with his fear.

the thought of losing faifa was terrifying.

to lose someone who made him realise that it was okay to be himself—it was okay to be into men—it was okay to take things slow and go with the flow—it was okay to move on from the past because the present was so beautiful and real and comforting and assuring and faifa.

it was lost chances and perished hopes and memories becoming too pretty to forget but too painful to remember. it was wine thinking tomorrow would never be the same because faifa wouldn't be there by his side—faifa wouldn't look at him with those eyes—faifa wouldn't exist in wine's life anymore because that was who faifa was—he was the air that wine breathe; invincible but felt. borrowed, never his.

and wine believed he was too late. and wine believed he was never honest.

"what's wrong?" "i'm just scared. scared that if you and tor reconnect, everything would be just a dream. scared that I'm actually not the one for you."

because faifa was never someone's first—he was never anyone's priority.

but wine showed him that he was. wine showed him that he was his only. so how could he not be scared of this possibility—of losing wine when he had become faifa's everything?

but faifa was. faifa was wine's only one.

"i hate that notebook. i hate counting down how many times we've done things together. i hate counting down for our story to slowly end. i leave it in my room on purpose. i keep it in a box on purpose so I can't see it. because you said it won't count if I didn't bring it. i don't want to have a meal with you just 10 times. i don't want—"

because wanting felt too much for wine and faifa to bear—wanting so much for something so little, this fragile thread connecting their hearts—no labels or names—felt too much for two people who had never wanted this openly—this honestly.

faifa and wine were honest about love.

"i get it now." "i'm sorry i didn't tell you honestly that I agreed to try your flirting tips not because I wanted to win someone else's heart, but because I wanted to be near you, phi faifa."

ohhh okay. there are two maybe three different copies of the shakespeare book, and liu xiao has either the original one that cheng weimin wrote in or it's a copy same as cheng weimin's.

(it would be odd if it's the original because does that mean cheng weimin wrote on two pages, sonnets 19 and 38? liu xiao scribbled here which means someone else wrote this. either cheng weimin wrote twice in the same book, wrote twice on different pages of different books, or someone else wrote this. mayhaps...... mysterious blonde lady.......) (<- just need mysterious blonde lady to be relevant somehow, and the ed is pairing her with liu xiao soooo)

cheng xiaoshi has a different copy with possibly a missing sonnet (?) since sonnet 37 shows up on the left page for him, but on liu xiao and cheng weimin's copies, even numbered sonnets are on the left page.

though cheng xiaoshi's book has sonnets 18 and 19 in the correct page, so there's an error somewhere after that for some reason. like a misprint? lmao. I wonder which sonnet is missing...
