Small collection of weird and/or fucked up things I've seen in India

Had a dream last night where I was back at home and father was his usual jerk. He ordered himself a lot of chocolate from Fazer (Finnish company for sweets and bakery). I took one metallic "cup" which was full of tiny chocolate "drops" and he got so furious. He said he had ordered them 3 pieces or so, adding he noticed from this one paper that I had taken one. He asked me why and I said I thought it was pretty fair payment for me taking care of his stallion for years and years (even for real he was my responsibility 99% of the time, dad didn't bother). No, dad was not fine with that and it pissed me off so I, damn right, lectured him good. I never couldn't talk back to him in real life so I'm glad I can lecture him in my dreams. He couldn't argue back so he left.

Then I noticed later that our small horse stable was on fire, stallion already burned and dead inside it. I instantly knew dad had set it on fire. I next noticed a fire right next to garage's wall outside. Dad was going to burn it down too. I picked up my phone, running upstairs. It was so dark in there that I couldn't see a thing. It didn't make things easier since my phone was like a pine tree shaped device which had buttons all around in random order! It took me SO LONG to press 112 (our emergency number). However, my call went to one of the psychologists!

I told her the situation and she calmly said something like: " Well, based on what you have told me about him, this was to be expected."

There was some other random parts in the dream but I woke up, being greeted by heavy rain and howling autumn wind outside <3 I laid in bed probably an hour just listening the rain hitting the roof and wind howling inside through the slightly open window.

PEACE INSIDE OUT

Last night’s meditation was shallow. The deepest moment was when I heard sounds from the centre of my head and ambient sounds simultaneously. I simply couldn’t withdraw my attention enough from my immediate environment through all of those 50 minutes.

This time, the fault lies with me. It isn’t so much my attention that I can blame. I don’t make enough gentle effort during the working hours prior to the nightly meditation to train my attention. Last night’s shallowness had everything to do with my inability to temporarily undo dearly held parts of my immediate environment.

Last night’s meditation reveals a certain aspect of my psyche that is detrimental to my spiritual growth. The revelation is a blessing in disguise. Peace is the blessing without any disguises. Since end of 2022, the flow of life energy up my spine during meditations, breached my head. Life energy in the head is perceived as peace.

In August of 2024, peace has touched my head for 19 months straight. Peace is so strong that it can make its presence felt even when the attention can’t progress inwards!

Dear Gus & Magnus,

William came home from school with Gus today because they were going to soccer practice. Mom took them, but Magnus stayed back at the house with me while I changed clothes. When we headed to the fields Magnus decided he would rather go to the playground at Murray Park. We played with his cars in the sand, then met some new friends who wanted to play with us. Magnus shared even when he didn't want to. I was proud of him. (But he also complained about it when we got in the truck.)
