“God, I love you-" Molly blinks, her hand hovering over Rocker's shoulder where she had given her boyfriend an ice pack. Rocker had come back from a hard mission, his body bruised and battered. Tan had said that he had been hit with a truck. "But only lightly," Rocker had joked, before he grimaced and Molly had decided to take him home before he laughed himself into more pain. Now Rocker looks up at her, shoulders tense, and Molly can probably guess what's going through his head. How they haven't been doing this for very long, how they're both still learning each other's baggage and finding their footing. "Yeah?" Molly asks and she sits besides Rocker on the couch, taking in the bruising around the side of his face that is deep in color. He's going to be on desk duty for a while after he's healed up. Her father had been very clear that he wasn't even allowed in SWAT for at least a week. "It's not just addrenaline-" Rocker starts and Molly just stops him, leaning in for a quick kiss. "I know," She says softly as she rests her forehead against Rocker's gently. Closing her eyes and going in for another kiss. "I love you too." Because she does, and has probably had for some time now. She hates that she hasn't said it earlier, hates that she almost didn't get a chance to say it at all. "Next time don't let a truck shake it loose from you Donny," Molly says smiling at the way Rocker's nose scrunches up. "It was only a little hit-" He starts and Molly shoves him away lightly, only feeling a little sorry when he groans.

Buck being overwhelmed in the best way that he gets to be all up close and personal in that hot ass that he definitely checked out the night he met tommy. he grabs a handful of each cheek, marveling at how even his big hands aren’t enough to cover the expanse , and then he spreads ‘em, sees that pretty hole, how it flutters and immediately wants inside, doesn’t matter how, but he kinda really wants to bury his tongue in it and be absolutely smothered by tommy’s ass

tom is a pet name that takes time to be put into the rotation, it's not used at all during their first 6 months except a few times in the sex scenario (buck is overwhelmed and can only get one syllable of tommy's name out before breaking off into a moan). when they get back together it's the same thing for a while, only broken out during sex when buck is overwhelmed, but tommy eventually realizes that he really treasures the times buck says it (he thinks it's just bc he likes getting buck to that point of overwhelmed).

and then probably like 6 or more months in and buck's just gotten back from work and is rambling about his day to tommy who's in the other room and buck offhandedly breaks out tom like a "btw tom you'll never believe this other thing that happened" and tommy realizes OH he really likes that, bc no one who's ever called him tom has loved him and said it with the love and familiarity that buck just did, it was always people who thought tommy was a childish nickname and wanted him to "mature" to either thomas or tom. but tommy's a coward always (he's getting better slowly!) so he doesnt say anything and just goes with the flow until buck does it a few more times casually and then buck realizes that tommy really likes it too and they talk about it and then tom gets thrown into the usual rotation

you are so kind! 💕 i feel like these make me writes always expose what a chaotic writer i am because especially in the early stages of figuring something out i just jump from scene to scene almost at random. here's some morning after from buck's pov.

Sal's still asleep when Buck wakes up, and Tommy's nowhere to be seen. Buck scrubs a hand over his face and rolls away towards the edge of the bed. He spots his clothes from last night, folded on the chest at the end of their bed and snags his jeans and shirt. He doesn't button either, but gets himself semi-decent and pads downstairs.

He finds Tommy in the kitchen with a cup of coffee in front of him and a book in his hand. Buck feels…a little awkward, honestly. On the rare occasion he spends the night with someone after sex, he wouldn't hesitate to get in their space, steal a kiss, maybe initiate another round. But he has no idea how to navigate this. Maybe he should just sneak out before Tommy looks up from his book.

As soon as the thought lands it's too late and Tommy looks up with a smile. Fuck, Buck has no idea how he was unaware (beyond the theoretical way, anyway) before last night that Tommy is…so fucking hot.

"Morning, Evan," Tommy says with a smile. He looks tired and rumpled and soft, and Buck's mouth goes dry. "Coffee's in the pot."
