"I know you like going out all night to do, yanno, whatever with Casey, but, it would be nice if you could stay home sometimes?" Donnie asks with a soft and hopeful smile, "Case can come down here with you yanno, dunno why you're suddenly trying to hide him from us."

He gives a soft laugh, truly oblivious to everything that his twin was up to,

"Maybe we could do a movie night or something together? Yanno, like when we were kids," Don suggests, aware they weren't kids anymore, but still clinging onto it, "That is if you want to, I know you got your own things to do now..." He glances away, "I just miss having my twin around..."

Don would love to join them but he doubts Raph would want him to. It feels like they drifted apart, and God does it hurt, and God does it bring up all those fears from when they were younger. Donatello doesn't even realise he's speaking still until the final words leave his beak,

"I'm worried about you Raphael."

If Raph was honest. he felt like crap. In many ways. Everything at home was just..different. Everything in Raph was also different. He didn't know how to explain what was going on in his head lately. His hand cupped just under the running water from the faucet of the bathroom sink splashing the water over his face. Cold to try and wake himself up from long late nights. If anything his night were the only thing keeping him from fully slipping. Looking at his reflection, mask was hung around his neck in the moment as he went about his routine here. Slightly just caught up at the face staring back from the mirror. in his head he knew that was meant to be him but at the same time? He barely could recognize his own face. This was getting worse, he groaned and shook his head blaming it on some early grogginess eyes were tried and still trying to just focus. He pushed away from the sink and pulled his mack up back into place. Making sure the band was tightly knotted on the back of his head. A deep breath taken in before he stumbled out from the bathroom. It was late in the afternoon when he finally stirred awake. Getting close to evening Mikey would be getting home soon from work himself. Don was busy with their own job, ya know if it wasn't some creep calling his twin. Well hopefully a little drop in on that guy helped stop that.

A bit early for him but he was already to head out for the night. Making a pit stop to the kitchen to nab at some left overs in the fridge. He didn't spend much time at home any more. He only slept if anything, hard to say there was much trace of him being around outside the rare sightings, or the few times he pick up around the kitchen or living room. If he was honest? he hated being home. it felt different. Like everything had. Raph had no words other than different. It was like everything slowly started to drift and change and it was putting Raph on edge. Like everyone one knew just knew something but no one would say it out loud. Putting it words would make it real he figured. It was getting harder and harder everyday. Like he was suffocating. Hand lifted to sort of press his knuckles in against the side of his head, twisting them in against his skull drive that thought away, so color him surprised when he noticed Donnie in the kitchen as well. Standing still a moment as he slowly dropped his hand, guess they were taking a break from the 24/7 call service work. He just offered a slight nod of his head head at Donnie when they took notice of him. Making his way to the fridge

"sex work makin' ya need a break?" he muttered it was mostly to see the reaction out of Don when he made the mention seeing how they went and carried that joke out the other day. Smirking a little that was a little bit of normal he still was getting. Even if it felt a bit hollow. He quirked his beak a little, stepping in closer to the fridge letting the cool air hit, that helped. head just left to sit in the cool air as he looked around. Bleh pineapple pizza the note on it was from Mikey. He rolled his eyes and took it anyway, holding the slice in his mouth. He hadn't fully caught Donnie was still talking just the tail end.

"..yeah right with Casey." Whenever he was with Casey he felt at peace...which he couldn't have right now. Home was like that too, always the safe place to hide out yeah...he missed how loud and lively it once was. But now? "I dunno just ya know we got uh plans so." He'd been using Casey to cover for him a lot lately....Casey.

"Case can come down here with you yanno, dunno why you're suddenly trying to hide him from us."

Raph eyes shifted over to Donnie as he shut the fridge door finally turning around to look at them.They softly laughed, almost like when they couldn't help but near burst from laughing the other day. It was nice to see. Even if Donnie was being a bit pushy, okay not pushy. But clearly this was something they wanted. He shouldn't.

"Maybe we could do a movie night or something together? Yanno, like when we were kids,"

Like when they were kids? they gather up in the living room snacks lined the table. Every one got a turn to pick out what they would watch that night. More often than not the movie night ended with an ice cream run. A slight twitch over Raphs beak when Donnie mentioned it

"That is if you want to, I know you got your own things to do now..."

Raph manged to finish off what he ate, no words had left himself watching Donnie as they look away just now. Yeah his own thing... what he been keeping himself busy with lately his own escape from everything going on. A way to not be aware of it all. It was like they were all just drifting like the ships at the docks. A random memory of a time he was watching the humans there once they were dumb and a boat ended up drifting away. it should come back..it hadn't. The crew loaded up one smaller boats, three. Two just sort of left in the water as they were watching to see if they could get the ship's motor to work again. Slowly the waves were making them drift further out. The third boat though? It the mad dash to get out of there, it got busted and started to sink.

"I just miss having my twin around..."

Still no words from Raph he was so focused on the image of the ship and the boats. Like he was trapped, like hid mind wanted him focus on that so he could speak up on what was with him. He could talk to Don hell they had their own language between them. A small change on their face or a certain way they moved their arms around was all it took. The third boat that sunk that was Raph. Why was he so focused on that? That was how it felt though. Like he was that third boat that had sunk. Lifting up his hand setting it over his eye, maybe he was tried he thought as he dug the heel of his palm in against his eye. One of the other boats made it's way to the third trying to help..that was Donnie. Donnie was always quick to hop in to help and that boat.... He swallowed thickly.

"I'm worried about you Raphael."

"I'm fine!" Raph snapped suddenly, that second boat got dragged down too. Looking at his twin a moment..he barely recognized his own face. But Donnies he could make out, he could see how tried they looked even with the mask on. Why did still bother with thier masks and gear? That boat... Donnie was doing the same thing as that boat he knew? okay he didn't know detail sure but they knew something was wrong. Wrong with Raph and Don being Don had to fix the issue. Raph gritted his teeth it shouldn't be Don who has to fix anything! It wasn't Don's fault..if he tried to help Raph? he would be dragged down too. Raph soon pushed away from his perch "We broke up" he near shouts. "So it be werid to bring him around 'ere dontcha' think?" so much lies in his words. Raph just wanted to use the break up to excuse his current behavior if he blew up Don would step back right? He would keep away if Raph made it difficult to want to be around. Raph..Raph was the issue here. He could drown and stay like that he wouldn't take anyone down with him. "Aye need air." was all he offered not accepting the invite or even offering another day.

Yes, from a plot line stand pint it is brilliant and would be full of emotional drama, and astounding action and would just be STUNNING to behold…

But I think you individually sent the Rise Fam to the funniest clash of personalities you possibly could???

2012- Raph first loves then hates him, Mikey is immediate prankster bestie, unfortunately for Don who gets the brunt, but then encouraged to in unparalleled ways just evil scientist this shit up and Leonardo would hate then love him. By the end, the two Leos are just the weirdest best friends anyones ever seen and 2012 Leo has become so fricken devious, which does make Raph smile even if Rise Leo is so frickin ANNOYING-Choas. I am talking chaos. In all the best ways.

Bayverse- Mikey is litterally a little anime chibi to them. That would be enough comedy on its own, but then it becomes apparent that he is way more emotionally mature and by the end it is just Mama Migel leading around his big strong lads?

2003- ‘Tello: “Honor? What honor? Why have honor when you can have a self launching tactictile magical nuclear missal?!” 2003 turtles proceed to chase his evil scientist ass around trying to do damage control. His loudness of character and sheer strength of Will is like at 110% compared to them, and Idk that they would have any idea what to do about it. Raph suggests full on imprisonment until everything is over MULTIPLE times. Leo considers it seriously. Don says they need his mind. Mikey says it would make the other fam cry. In the end the most they can do is deflect him into things that are actually helpful. Mikey gets real good at it.

2k7 movie- is like the darkest movie version despite the mystic monsters. Is about broken family coming together. Rise Raph would come in, and they would be all “whoa, look at the size of this bruiser!” And then he proceeds to just… Mother. Just the image of this big beefy turtle as big and intimidating as any of the monsters they faught in that movie being the softest person they have ever met cracks me up. He bakes cakes. Sits around knitting while thinking. Insisting on team meetings and snack breaks and sleep. Will absolutely go “how would Dr. Feelings handle this conflict?” and steps in to mediate all potential fights. He only has to bodily hold them up and make them apologize once. He and Rise Mikey high five on how well they did to help thier counterparts as soon as they are reunited. “I used that thing you said about breathing for a Donny panic attack.” “And I totally used that line about leadership you keep saying on new Leo and Raph- I figured the words of another Leader and Raph would work better.”

IDW- April would look around, and realize how much more serious, and at the same time, in so many ways, how much YOUNGER these guys are. I mean, they mutate, then proceed to have every possible thing dumped on them in the span of 6 months. It is all training and fighting and surviving and no time for fun, and everything is still so achingly NEW all the time. She would observe this for like an afternoon and be like, “I’m sorry Splints, no disrespect, but we are TAKING a five minute break before this all breaks us, and I AINT having no argument,” and proceeds to insist on moments to teach them fun/dumb things. Splinter would be miffed at that at first, but recognizes how much they need her to get through what is happening so let’s it go on, and would be a little impressed by her force of personality. And then he sees the smiles she is bringing to his sons faces, and the laughs he hasn’t heard almost ever, and decides she is just as much of a bright light as thier April and treasures her dearly. I just have this image of the four turtles, cowed and in awe, sitting in a circle around Rise April and quietly waiting thier turn while she patiently paints thier nails and is yakking on about how pillow fights work. Bonus points if she teaches them pillow/water/laser gun fights (and any other unorthodox Lui Jitsu moves) and they end up using it to great success in the final battle.

Also, can we send Future Casey to 1990 movies? Give him some time to learn how to have fun without angst reminds of dead parental figures? I just think them teaching him how to properly slice up pizza and play video games and dance through the lair while Donnie’s computer calculates (it’s the 90s, it’s dial up, it’s going to talk some time), would be hilarious and wholesome, and great.

Dump Daxum in the 1980s. He comes back with souvenirs. Enough said.

Mama Cass + original comics. Just have the rest of the fam wonder “I wonder who got to deal with Cassandra?” Cut to the five dark shadows doing epic assassin shit for 30 sec. “I hope they are ok.” Her eyes gleaming as she gets five minutes of all she wanted out of her original foot clan. “I mean SHE’LL be fine, but I just hope she isn’t running over everyone.” Deep bow. “Hai Sensei.” She comes back rejuvenated, knowing so much more technique, being like “That was exactly what I needed. Tbh, they were a little intense for me to be there all the time, but what a CLAN!”

Meanwhile, back in Rise Universe, Splinter first loses his mind trying to find out what happened, but after Rise Donny makes contact, he calms down and proceeds to make a new B Team out of mostly the lesser villians to defend thier NY from the Krang. No body gets along, and it is hilarious. Moment when we finally see Warren and Hypno confess. Learning how to work as a team, and it’s beautiful in the dumbest ways.

This would just be a hilarious crossover arch for a show is all I am saying. A full episode or 2 for each group, maybe just flashes of Draxum and Cass in other eps. One ep to establish, one to reunite/regroup, one for finale. Would this be the best season of TMNT we have ever witnessed? Idk, you tell me.

Cool Ultimate TMNT Crossover Idea:

There’s this like, super powerful Ultimate Multiverse Kraang trying to take over the multiverse.

They start with the Rise Universe, thinking they’re going to be the easiest.

Due to some freak accident and mystic fighting however, the Rise TMNT are able to postpone their plans.

But in the process, each get sent to different universes.

Leo to the 2k12 universe.

Mikey to the Bayverse.

Donnie to the 2k3 universe.

Raph to the 2k7 movie universe

And April to the IDW comics

At this point, these Ultimate Kraang have decided to spread off to the other universes, and now it’s up to our Rise turtles, separated and with these new turtles, to find a way to defeat this Kraang and reunite.

I actually have no idea how this would go all I imagine is how each of the Rise! Gang would end up wounded in these separate universes and how each of those universes’ TMNT would find them and bring them back to their Lairs.

Then I thought of the ending, all these other TMNTs and the original Rise Gang ending up in the Rise universe to finish off these Kraang.

They realize they have their powers back. One of them let’s of some magic beam of some sort (maybe Donnie or Mikey) and then they all find each other and come into a bone-crushing hug.

Their reunion is cut short however by the Kraang, and cut to an epic showdown where the other TMNTs watch how powerful the ROTTMNT are with their mystic powers and then join in the battle.
