A Deeper Engagement with Scripture: Exploring "The Holy Bible: With Visualized Art & Mystic Manifestation" (Digital Ebook)
In my ongoing exploration of religious texts, I recently encountered "The Holy Bible: With Visualized Art & Mystic Manifestation" (Digital Ebook). This innovative resource has significantly enhanced my understanding and appreciation of the scriptures.
Enhanced Comprehension Through Visual Storytelling
This digital Bible departs from the standard format by incorporating impactful artwork alongside the text. Each chapter or verse is accompanied by a relevant illustration, ranging from detailed depictions of biblical scenes to symbolic representations of key themes. These visuals are not merely decorative; they serve a critical pedagogical function.
By leveraging the power of visual storytelling, the artwork enhances comprehension, particularly of complex concepts and historical contexts. For example, the illustration accompanying the creation story provided a visually compelling representation of this momentous event, fostering a deeper understanding of its grandeur and significance.
Unveiling Deeper Meanings with Mystic Manifestation
"The Holy Bible: With Visualized Art" transcends simply presenting the text. It offers a unique approach termed "Mystic Manifestation," which equips readers with tools to delve into the scripture's profound spiritual meaning. Scattered throughout the text are guided meditations, affirmations, and thought-provoking reflection prompts.
These features proved to be particularly insightful. The guided meditations facilitated a state of mental quietude, enabling deeper connection with the message. The affirmations served as powerful reminders of divine love and grace, while the reflection prompts encouraged personal contemplation of the scriptures' relevance in my own life.
The meditation on the Beatitudes stands out as a particularly impactful experience. Following the guided practice, the words resonated with a newfound depth, leaving me with a profound sense of inner peace and centeredness.

Interactive Features Foster Active Learning
"The Holy Bible: With Visualized Art" goes beyond a static text format. It incorporates interactive features that cater to diverse learning styles, fostering a more dynamic and engaging experience. These features include audio narrations that allow for simultaneous listening and reading, as well as multimedia presentations that provide a more holistic understanding of the content.
The inclusion of interactive quizzes and study guides was particularly valuable. These tools enabled me to assess my comprehension of the text and solidify my grasp of key concepts. Additionally, they served as springboards for further exploration, prompting me to delve deeper into specific passages that resonated with me on a personal level.
A Transformative Tool for Spiritual Growth
"The Holy Bible: With Visualized Art & Mystic Manifestation" transcends the category of a digital Bible. It offers an immersive and transformative experience that fosters a deeper connection with scripture. This resource has empowered me to move beyond simply reading the Bible; it has facilitated active engagement with its wisdom, allowing me to internalize its teachings and apply them to my daily life. This innovative digital resource has become an invaluable tool on my personal journey of spiritual growth and self-discovery.

I’d love your thoughts on the gale romance endings like your thoughts on the proposal and the romance endings eg going back to waterdeep or going adventuring - thanks 💕💕
Note: This was the perfect Valentine’s Day ask! It’s uhh now the day after Valentine’s Day, but I did write most of this ON Valentine’s Day, so we’re going to say it still counts 💜
Anon, thank you for setting me up so perfectly to gush about Gale’s romance endings! Here is everything I love about them:
I love the whole entire proposal scene
I love that Gale is so down bad for Tav that he can’t even wait until their Hundur sauce dinner date before he proposes
I love Gale being so excited he wakes up first and just lies there thinking about marrying Tav
I love this part:
Tumblr media
I love how, back when they were in the Stormshore Tabernacle to meet Mystra, Gale says he’s always wondered ‘what it’s like to be nervous’, and then when he proposes to Tav the dev notes say this:
Tumblr media
(I also love how even the dev got nervous and misspelled ‘proposing’ as ‘promosing’)
I love the fact that Gale’s proposal isn’t polished & practiced & smooth, but instead, heartfelt and genuine and imperfect and sweet
I love the way Gale melts with relief when Tav says yes
I love how the romance goes full circle from this:
Tumblr media
To this:
Tumblr media
I love that they didn’t end the scene with Gale down on one knee, but instead ended it with Gale and Tav standing equal to one another
I love that Gale’s proposal remains 99% the same if Tav is an Illithid
I love that when Illithid Tav questions whether Gale really wants to marry them in their present condition, Gale replies: “Your ‘present condition’ is that you’re the one I love,” and he absolutely 100% means it
I love Gale’s entire epilogue dialogue
I love that Gale will happily stay in Baldur’s Gate to help rebuild, or go adventuring to other places, or start a book club in the Underdark, or go to Avernus, and no matter where he goes he’s happy because he’s with his beloved:
Tumblr media
I love how if Gale and Tav go back to Waterdeep, Gale gets to be a Professor of Illusion and he adores it
I love how even as an esteemed Blackstaff Professor he still gets involved in (or directly causes) various wizarding shenanigans
I love how Gale is still a little bit insecure:
Tumblr media
AND a more confident flirt:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I love Gale’s kiss and nose boop SO MUCH
To summarize: I absolutely freaking love the proposal and romance endings and everything about them
Tumblr media
And YES OF COURSE I love Tara I could never forget that!

smart and talented queen whose tastes i trust could you recommend me some extremely good wincest fics? i’m running out of them and it’s not looking good for me without them </3
🥺 this is such a nice thing to say to me in the midst of a horrible two weeks but bestie i don't know what you like!! here are some of my more recent reads, hopefully some of them will be up your alley.
(trying to tag author's urls where i can find them so this isn't anonymous praise, and i urge anybody who likes this list to leave comments for the authors)
---
i read sponge bath by mumble_bee recently (1.5k words)
Dean might be a demon, but that’s not going to stop Sam from taking care of him.
i was really really intrigued by sam's characterization here because it seems to be a sam who was pushed way farther in his search for demon!dean than he was in canon, so i've been kind of turning it over in my head and thinking about hallucifer connections with sam's disconnect from reality in this one ever since i read it (also because spn20rewatch is in s7 hahaha)
---
i read he'll follow me down every street, no matter what my crime by @according2thelore (17k words) which made me feel INSANE, featuring meg!sam choosing to sexually menace and terrorize dean instead of jo. very sexy and psycho-sexual and written for my @wincestwednesdays event which i should really host another round for 👉👈 unfortunately i have other things cooking at the moment that are equally exciting to me!
---
in january i read through the tabernacle reconstructed by the_circadian (12k words) which is the wincest take on dean's djinn dream that i have been craving my whole lifetime...
@cassandraleeds i am not lying when i say that i have been looking for this fic my whole life 🥴 the care-taking, the pining, the self-denial, the giving in... PHEW. absolutely stellar work, pitch-perfect angst. fabulous. i need to re-read it another six times. if this had been published back at the peak of the fandom, it would have 57 million hits and be on every rec list. hey, i'm doing my part!!!
---
and finally when i was brutally sick two weeks ago i read through @gracerene's entire spn oeuvre which you should ALSO do here. i'm actually not completely done with this mission but everything i have read is thoughtful, gripping, and leaves me like this: 🥹! by millimeters in particular is a fantastic spiritual successor to ergonomic with its humour and its super cute characterization of dean fetishizing sam's Bigness. i have a soft-spot for sam jerking them both off at the same time <3 i also very much enjoyed this beautiful needy!sam fic set during the trials era, and this really fun one where dean gets cursed and sam decides to be a huge tease hehehe <333

The book of Hebrews is structured in an interesting way.
The book is divided into 4 main sections, each one comparing Jesus to a certain aspect of Jewish history and tradition.
The first (Hebrews 1-2) contrast Jesus with angels and the Torah.
Now, this may seem silly at first. Why would the author compare God to his angels? But there is a point here. In Jewish tradition, it’s believed that Moses receives the Ten Commandments from an angel sent by God. Meanwhile, Jesus was sent for us to receive his good news. The author is stating that, if Israel was called to obey the Ten Commandments, given to them by angel, how much more are we called to obey Jesus’ commandments, given to us straight from the mouth of God?
The second contrast (Hebrews 3-4) is between Moses and Jesus themselves.
Moses was leader of Israel, and he built for them the tabernacle. Jesus is also the leader of Israel (being God after all) and he built all of creation. The author goes onto say that Israel rebelled against Moses, and God, and were thus barred from entering the Promised Land. This is a warning to us, who are also in a wilderness like environment, to not rebel against Jesus, or we rick being barred from God’s New Earth in the next life.
The third comparison (Hebrews 5-7) are between Jesus and Melchizedek, and the priests of Israel as a whole.
The priests from the line of Aaron, the Levites, were morally flawed and constantly sinful against God (after all, they were only human). As a result, they constantly had to offer sacrifices to God for not only their own sins, but for the entire population of Israel. Jesus, on the other hand, is morally perfect, and sinless. His sacrifice on the cross is the only one needed. The blood of the truly spotless lamb cleanses all of us from our sins, and no more sacrifices are needed.
The fourth, and final, comparison (Hebrews 8-10) compares Jesus to the sacrifices of the Levite priests, rather than the priests themselves.
Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross is the only one required for us to be righteous before God. The Jewish sacrifices had to be made on a daily basis, and yearly on the day of atonement. There was always a need, but in Jesus, our needs are met.
All of these comparisons point to Jesus, and how he is the most important and superior way God has chosen to reveal himself.
Any need that the Torah failed to fulfill was finally met in Christ.
All of these contrasts point to how important it is to not reject Jesus and his message. To do so would mean rejecting eternal life in God’s new creation, rejecting your only way to be right with God, and to reject God’s forgiveness of your sins.
As such, we must follows the great models of faith (as listed in Hebrews 11) and know that God will not abandon his people, so we must not abandon him.
God is life, and rejecting him would mean rejecting life itself.
God bless, Jesus loves you ✝️❤️

Oh my word, Lestat has arrived! Oh my WORD! He is ACTUAL LESTAT! His hair! His face! His poignant expression (I’m sure he’s doing existential pondering!!!!) His titled head & cut-throat choker. His JACKET! His wee lo-rise pants! 😁 He is utter perfection! Thank you so much @toriangeli 🥹💗🥀🖤
I have given him his violin so he can get acquainted & begin practising!
You can still adopt glorious Claudia by @toriangeli here -
And @toriangeli is making a Gremlin 18th Century (I think?) Armand at the moment! He’ll be magnificent too!
“…I lifted the violin to my shoulder, braced it under my chin, and lifted the bow. I closed my eyes and I remembered music, Nicki's music, the way that his body had moved with it and his fingers came down with the pressure of hammers and he let the message travel to his fingers from his soul.
I plunged into it, the music suddenly wailing upwards and rippling down again as my fingers danced. It was a song, all right, I could make a song. The tones were pure and rich as they echoed off the close walls with a resounding volume, creating the wailing beseeching voice that only the violin can make. I went madly on with it, rocking back and forth, forgetting Nicki, forgetting everything but the feel of my fingers stabbing at the soundboard and the realization that I was making this, this was coming out of me, and it plummeted and climbed and overflowed ever louder and louder as I bore down upon it with the frantic sawing of the bow.
I was singing with it, I was humming and then singing loudly, and all the gold of the little room was a blur. And suddenly it seemed my own voice became louder, inexplicably louder, with a pure high note which I knew that I myself could not possibly sing. Yet it was there, this beautiful note, steady and unchanging and growing even louder until it was hurting my ears. I played harder, more frantically, and I heard my own gasps coming, and I knew suddenly that I was not the one making this strange high note!
The blood was going to come out of my ears if the note did not stop. And I wasn't making the note! Without stopping the music, without giving in to the pain that was splitting my head, I looked forward and I saw Akasha had risen and her eyes were very wide and her mouth was a perfect O. The sound was coming from her, she was making it, and she was moving off the steps of the tabernacle towards me with her arms outstretched and the note pierced my eardrums as if it were a blade of steel.”
(Lestat & I might do an improvise together to this some day! Gotta let this tattoo heal a bit more first, so maybe not for a bit! 😉🖤🥀🎶🎻)
I have to leave the house now, so I can’t even stare at Lestat all afternoon 🥺, but I can smile in my heart knowing he’ll be here, awaiting my return! 🥰💚🖤🥀
PS I adore chartreuse!

okay so since gale's earring is obviously modded in my game, i'm gonna talk about my headcanons for what i've done with it and how him replacing the mystra earring plays out! i have actually posted about this before, but it's been a while and i started using a different combination of mods to get things closer to how i wanted them, and i also just wanna expand on my thoughts.
i don't want gale to immediately replace his earring or anything. what i do want—what i imagine as part of my personal canon for him and elenion—is for him to choose to quietly remove it and place it at mystra's altar after their confrontation at stormshore tabernacle, as a symbol of him finally accepting that there's more to life than her and as a small form of catharsis after having defied her. he's still a wizard, he can't completely forget the goddess of magic, but he doesn't need her love anymore. and he certainly doesn't need to wear her sigil on his body.
and elenion absolutely notices. but they don't want to press gale about it or push him so they don't say anything right then. instead, when they leave the tabernacle, he gently reaches out and brushes a lock of gale's hair behind his ear. his fingertips graze the now-empty spot where mystra's sigil once was. they ask gale, softly, if it feels lighter now and gale says it does, but he's not sure if it's relief or loss. elenion tells him it's okay to feel both.
neither of them bring up the idea of replacing that earring, or mention it again for the rest of the journey. they both have so much else to worry about, they don't even know if they'll survive all this—and gale needs time and patience to process all these different emotions, and elenion doesn't really care what is or isn't on gale's ear, he just wants gale there, safe and happy and alive at the end of it all.
fast-forward to a few weeks post-game, and gale and elenion are living together in waterdeep. they're walking hand-in-hand through the marketplace on a peaceful afternoon. they weren't really going anywhere in particular, but gale ends up stopping at the window of a jewelry shop. elenion has noticed that gale often reaches up to dangle an earring that isn't there, and he sees the look in gale's eyes now, so he just casually goes "you thinking of getting something sparkly, love? you'd look great wearing something dramatic, like a silver lightning bolt earring. or a little dragon wrapped around a pearl. or a skull with sapphires for eyes". and then, more gently: "we can take a look, if you want." gale laughs and says yes, he'd like that.
elenion acts like a complete menace who might as well be no help at all. he insists that gale try on all the most random earrings in the store and comes up with half-joking, half-heartfelt symbolic reasons for each one ("this one is shaped like an open book! to represent how you're no longer hiding your true self, and also how you never stop talking!" "an ornate key! for unlocking your future, or maybe the key to your heart, which i believe someone very charming and handsome is actually already holding!" "a sunburst with a ruby in the center, because you're finally stepping into the light! and because you'd look hotter than the sun wearing it."), partly just because it makes gale laugh but also because he doesn't want to be the one to choose gale's new earring. they don't want this to be just another thing he wears for someone else, so they want him to push back on all of their ridiculous suggestions and find something that's his.
and gale does. he smiles and affectionately rolls his eyes at all of elenion's nonsense. and while they're distracted, he picks up a gold moon with purple jewels in it. a perfect match for the silver stars with blue jewels that elenion always wears. he holds it up to his ear, asks his partner what they think. and their breath catches a little before they smile and sincerely say that it's beautiful.

Art done by the incomparable @aevari, and I could not be more delighted with this! They do such amazing work!! <3
---
Mother wasn’t joking when she said that Waterdhavians like an excuse for a party, Devi mused as she stood back, watching the ongoing chaos in the expansive room. It was still so surreal that all these people in the room had gathered to witness her wedding to Gale. Laughter echoed through the building as Devi smiled, playing with the ring on her left hand – a match to the one that Gale wore.
She felt a hand on her lower back, and knew without looking that it was her husband – her husband! – standing at her side. “Ahh, look at it all,” Gale chuckled as he gazed out over the room. “So many people who’ve come to witness our union, my love.”
“I never thought this day would happen,” Devi confessed, shifting to lean against Gale’s side. “If I did ever get married, I had expected that it would just be an exchange of vows before some overworked priest in the Stormshore Tabernacle, maybe with a couple of friends to witness it… and it probably would have ended poorly.” She looked away from the gathering of friends and family to smile up at Gale. “I never could have imagined a day like today, with everyone we know and love here.”
Gale smiled and leaned down to nuzzle her nose with his own. “Today has been perfect,” he murmured. “I got to stand before our friends and family, and profess my undying devotion to the woman I love… my wife.” He breathed out the last words, as if still awestruck at the realisation that Devi was married to him now.
“My husband,” she whispered with a fond smile, reaching to set her hand on his chest, over his heart. In the peek of his chest that his elegant robes offered, there was no sign of the cursed Netherese orb that had nearly killed him – Mystra had cleansed Gale of the damned thing as she’d promised. Gale was whole and healthy again, and Devi couldn’t be more grateful.
His eyes full of love, Gale set his hand on top of Devi’s, keeping her still against his chest. His other hand came up to caress her cheek. “My beautiful Devi, who stole my heart and gave me back my will to live…” he murmured. “How did I get so lucky as to be loved by you?”
Devi smiled as Gale tilted her face upwards. “I’m still trying to figure out how I was so fortunate as to find you and be loved by you,” she softly answered. “My wise, intelligent wizard. You cast a spell on me without even trying.”
“You saw me at my lowest point, and you still chose to love me,” Gale whispered. “You gave me hope where I had none.”
“You saw the parts of me that I tried to keep hidden,” Devi responded. “You gave me a reason to trust again.”
With a fond smile, Gale bent his head to gently kiss Devi’s lips before he pulled back to look at her. “You would have been beautiful even in rags, my love,” he murmured. “But in this… you are a vision of beauty and grace, Devi. And I am the luckiest man on Toril, to call you my wife.”
Smiling, Devi reached her hand up to gently tuck a stray lock of hair behind Gale’s ear. “And you, my breathtaking wizard… you are magnificent. You were gorgeous even covered in mud and blood on our adventure, but today… you make a work of art pale in comparison.”
Gale chuckled and kissed her again. “My perfect, beautiful wife…” he murmured. He looked up as Alfira, who had volunteered her services as a bard for the celebration, started strumming a song on her lyre. “Ah, one of our favourites,” he said with a smile. “May I have this dance, Mrs. Dekarios?”
“You absolutely may,” Devi answered, laughing as Gale took her hand and led her to the floor to dance in his arms.
This, she thought to herself as she let Gale lead her in one of the Waterdhavian dances that he had taught her, was indeed a perfect day. She had been made to feel more beautiful than she ever had in her life, and she was celebrating with everyone she loved, and she could finally call the man she adored her husband.
Today was the first day of the rest of her life. And she was eagerly looking forward to it, with Gale at her side.

There are three hierarchies of angels each of which contains three orders.
The Nine Choirs of Angels The Arrangement of the Angels of the Lord (according to Pseudo-Dionysius)
Let’s turn to the individual choirs so that we can examine the powers each have, and how they relate with one another.
Seraphim The seraphim are the angels closest to God. As such, they reflect most immediately the highest attribute of God manifest in creation: His love. They are on fire with the love of God; the very name means “incandescent ones” or “burning ones.” Classical sacred art portrays them as entirely red and ablaze. They are usually depicted as having six wings but no faces — simply a sea or ring of flame around the Holy Trinity. Because of this burning love, more than any other angel they have the most perfect knowledge of God, which makes them the most perfect adorers. St. Jerome notes that they not only burn by themselves, but they also inflame others with the love of God.
According to the prophet Isaiah, the seraphim are the angels whom he hears crying out “Holy, holy, holy,” as one of them purifies Isaiah’s mouth with a coal from the altar so that he might serve as the Lord’s messenger (Isa. 6:3–8). In the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Mass, the priest evokes this moment as he prays for worthiness in proclaiming the Gospel. We too should pray to the seraphim that we might be purified in our responsibilities as teachers and bearers of the Word to our families, our friends, and all those over whom we have responsibility. It was a seraph who appeared to St. Francis of Assisi when he received the stigmata. Later mystics, too, will speak of the seraphim as the Lord’s messengers and intermediaries when they had extraordinary experiences of loving and transforming divine union.
Cherubim The cherubim have a deep intellectual knowledge of divine secrets and of the ultimate causes of things; their name means “all-knowing one.” As such, they constantly contemplate the wisdom and the love of God in His relationship with mankind. They reflect His omniscience. The cherubim were the mighty adorers of the first covenant in its wisdom; images of the cherubim were the only images of beings that were permitted in the ancient Temple of Jerusalem. Their carved figures adorned the lid of the Ark of the Covenant, which prefigured both the Virgin Mary “tabernacling” the unborn Christ and the Eucharistic tabernacles of our churches, containing the new manna of Christ’s sacramental Body and Blood. Embroideries of the cherubim also covered the beautiful drapery that separated the Holy of Holies from the outer court of the Temple. It was that veil that was ripped from top to bottom when Our Lord died on the Cross as the sign that He had passed into the Eternal Sanctuary and that the Temple of Jerusalem had fulfilled its purpose (Matt. 27:51). The cherubim are still considered protectors of the New Covenant and so are often depicted on tabernacles and Eucharistic vessels.
Thrones The thrones, as their name suggests, can be thought of as beings raised up to form the seat of God’s authority and mercy. A throne manifests the glory and authority of a king; it expresses stability and power. And since a throne is also a judgment seat, these angels are especially concerned with divine judgments and ordinances.
In the early Church, a common representation of God’s glory in Heaven was a mosaic behind the altar and above the seat of the bishop that represented an empty throne with a radiant cross mounted above it. This image represented Christ the King, Lord of all and Judge of the living and the dead. But His judgment seat was also a throne of mercy, for Christ has redeemed the world by His Cross. His love has brought us to salvation. The thrones are never seen or experienced as “flying” but as “rolling” across the heavens, in keeping with their manifesting the Lord’s stability.
* * *
The second hierarchy receives knowledge of divine secrets through the first three choirs — knowledge that they could not perceive by themselves. The ardor of the seraphim inflames their love; the wisdom of the cherubim reveals the depth of the mysteries; and the stability of the thrones draws them into constant adoration of God’s majesty. In the Summa Theologiae, St. Thomas teaches that the names “domination,” “power,” and “principality” belong to government in different ways. The place of a lord is to prescribe what is to be done, and so Gregory says that “some companies of the angels, because others are subject to obedience to them, are called dominations.”
Dominations The dominations are concerned with the government of the universe. They are the first of the three choirs in the second ring, which is the ring of the cosmos — the angels who are charged with great and universal stewardships. The dominations in particular are involved in the workings of divine power. They coordinate the ministries of all the angels who deal with creation. We see in the angelic world that the Church’s teaching that God works through secondary causes is beautifully demonstrated. The angels mediate God’s power just as the saints intercede for us with Him.
Virtues St. Peter mentions the virtues in his first epistle (3:22), as does St. Paul in his Letter to the Colossians (1:16). The name is in some way a mistranslation or at least a “false cognate,” since this choir of angels does not deal with acquired habits (virtues), but rather exercises innate, raw power over the physical universe. According to Pseudo-Dionysius, their name refers to “a certain powerful and unshakable virility welling forth into all their Godlike energies, . . . mounting upwards in fullness of power to an assimilation with God; never falling away from the divine life through its own weakness, but ascending unwaveringly to the super-essential Virtue which is the Source of virtue.”1 They are the lords of causality and the principles of cosmic order in the material realm. They ensure the well-being of the world.
Powers The powers (dunameis) form the third and last choir of the second angelic hierarchy, according to Pseudo-Dionysius, while other scholars and spiritual writers consider them to be the fifth choir. This choir is mentioned occasionally in the Old Testament, such as in the book of Daniel where we read, “Bless the Lord, all powers, sing praise to him and highly exalt him for ever” (Dan. 3:39). Some scholars maintain that the name “powers” is also used to indicate angels in general, since it is the Septuagint’s translation of the Hebrew sabaoth. In the New Testament St. Paul writes that there are powers who have remained faithful to God and powers who have fallen away and become part of the empire of Satan (Eph. 6:12). The choir of powers is thought to introduce man to the higher mysteries while repressing the attacks of the “hostile powers” of Hell against the deepest laws of physical creation.
* * *
The third sphere of angels is concerned with Almighty God’s plan of salvation for mankind. It receives from the highest sphere its focus on the immutability of God, which is manifested in creation by the harmonious principles and intelligent organization of the laws of nature, which are upheld by the angels of the second sphere. In turn, the angels of this third sphere pour out their influence on those who have the greatest interaction with us in the ordinary course of things established by God.
Princes or Principalities The princes are also described as having members who have fallen away and others who have remained faithful. Principalities are the leading choir of the last hierarchy of angels. Their activities are described by Pseudo-Dionysius in this way, “The name of the Celestial Principalities signifies their Godlike princeliness and authoritativeness in an Order which is holy and most fitting to the princely Powers.” They are often seen as being the guardians of nations or peoples; this is why St. Michael is described in the book of Daniel as “the prince of Israel,” who comes to the aid of Gabriel against the demonic prince of Persia. It seems fitting that this first choir in the “ring of salvation” should also look after the spiritual structure of the supernatural life of the Church.
Archangels This choir is the most known and loved in popular devotion. Among the archangels we find St. Michael, St. Gabriel, and St. Raphael. It is traditionally believed, due to the statements of Raphael in the book of Tobit, that there are only seven archangels.
Three of their names occur in Scripture, and so the Church uses these names in our worship — St. Michael, the prince of the heavenly host and the only one called “archangel” in the Scriptures; St. Gabriel, the messenger of the Incarnation; and St. Raphael, the angel of healing and of medicine.
The names of the other four are not used in our Liturgy, though there are certain churches that preserve these names and make use of them in private devotion, including some Eastern Catholic Churches. Roman Catholics often refer to them as the seven archangels or the seven assisting spirits around the throne of God.
The seven archangels have been regarded from the very beginning as having a special place in God’s plan; their number is often associated with the seven days of the week and the seven sacraments. It is thought that the archangels were outstanding in their fidelity to God, and so in the writings of the saints they are often called archangel princes, an appellation that connotes leadership and authority in the heavenly realm. Many spiritual authors and mystics speak of their special assistance and often attribute other “groups of seven” to their protection or patronage — virtues, gifts of the Holy Spirit, and so on. The archangels are also associated with the protection of nations, dioceses, religious communities, and the mission of the Church.
Angels The ninth and final choir of angels is composed of those who are most involved with the doings of mankind. These angels are those who are sent out on missions from God and from whom the guardian angels are chosen. The angels who fill up this choir may be the lowest, but they are beloved because the Lord places them at our sides to watch over us and to care for us. They are the ministers of Christ’s love and our protectors. They defend us against harm and temptation. They warn us of impending evil and inspire us to remain faithful to God in prayer.

NICODEMUS QUESTIONS JESUS
John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
John 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

9 Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.
2 For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.
3 And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;
4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;
5 And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.
6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.
7 But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:
8 The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;
10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.
11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
18 Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.
19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.
21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.
22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

WE ARE RIGHTEOUS IN HIM
"..therefore be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus." - 2 Timothy 2:1
God's grace is undeserved, this means that God's goodness is not expressed to each of us because we are good; it is given to us because He is good! Sometimes it's hard to even wrap our minds around this fact. This is because most of us have, in reality, believed that grace is based upon performance and our religious works. However, receiving grace from God has absolutely nothing to do with our performance at all; it is completely based upon undeserved favor.
If God's favor were based upon our ability to do right and perform well, then we would not need His grace. We would then believe that because of our own abilities we have been blessed. This is such a deceptive lie of the enemy. He does not desire that we embrace the revelation of God's grace.
BONDAGE IN FEELING PERFORMANCE-ORIENTED
"And if by grace, then it is no longer of works: otherwise grace is not longer grace." - Romans 11:6a
There is bondage in feeling as if you are continually "missing the mark." Performance-oriented people experience difficulty resting in God, which is linked to God's grace. We can spend many years believing that God is disappointed in us if we didn't quite measure up to His standards.
We can also be deceived into believing that God's blessings are linked to how well we perform – as if His blessings were dependent upon our "good behavior" or "religious performance." This false belief sets us up for even more failure and disappointment. It becomes cyclical.
If we are ashamed, there is no confidence to boldly run to Him for grace and empowerment to transform. Shame and guilt robs us of our confidence to run boldly into God's arms – in fact, it causes us to run away from Him!
God knows we will never be perfect. He does not desire perfection due to our own strength for that would be "deserved favor." Grace is undeserved favor. The Lord desires for us to know that He is daily perfecting us through His divine grace. To believe that "it is up to us and our own ability to become transformed" is to believe that "the finished work at the Cross was not effective". Jesus Himself was perfect and, therefore, we are blessed and empowered to live holy through Him.
"through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God." - Romans 5:2
Many of us have been blinded concerning how to receive God's blessings. The Accuser of the Brethren has lied to us and said that God's blessings are based upon "works" rather than simply because God loves us. Remember God IS love! You cannot separate God from love. Jesus says to abide in Him. The love of Jesus flows into our heart as we meditate on it throughout the day. He blesses us simply because we are one with Him in His love.
WALKING IN THE SUPERNATURAL AND DOING THE IMPOSSIBLE
"Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably…" - Hebrews 12:28
Many might ask what the connection is between grace and the supernatural. We can't walk in the supernatural without His grace!
Our faith needs to rest upon Jesus and the price He paid for the sick to be healed, the poor to be blessed, people to be set free, etc. If we focus on Jesus and His ability to heal the sick many of us would experience more miracles. Because we haven't seen the miracles for which we cry out, many times we feel that we didn't "perform" well and, as a result, we will shrink back from stepping out and praying for the sick or for demons to flee, etc.
When Jesus came to earth, He brought Heaven with Him. He came so that He could live in us – we became the Tabernacle for the Spirit of God. It is His ability in us that will empower us to experience more of the supernatural.
"To them God has chose to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." - Colossians 1:27
RIGHTEOUSNESS
"For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." (2 Corinthians 5:21)
Paul said in Galatians 2:20-21 (KJV), "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain."
HOW DO WE WALK IN GOD'S FAITH?
In order to walk by this kind of faith you need to understand your Christ identity. You must understand that all your sins have been forgiven -- past, present, and future -- you are never out of right standing with God. There is never any guilt, shame, or condemnation (Romans 8:1,2) to keep you from moving forward in bearing fruit that remains for God's advancing Kingdom through your Christ calling, bringing forth the Great Commission. You are one with Christ (John 17:21) -- lay hands on the sick and expect them to recover -- believe for your miracle NOW!
When the word "righteousness is mentioned," many people immediately think that it involves more performance and perfect behavior – a list of "do's and don'ts" from God. Righteousness under the New Covenant is OUR RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD and is a gift from God and cannot be earned! (See Romans 5:17). Be assured that you are living through Jesus’ righteousness -- not your own. His Spirit lives in you and, therefore, you are qualified to walk in the supernatural! We need to step out and do it!
ACHIEVE YOUR FUTURE
The Accuser of the Brethren came against many in the Bible who God used mightily. The Bible is full of stories about people who were living in ordinary circumstances and empowered to do the impossible.
God sees much in you! He desires for you to boldly run to His throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16) right now to receive a fresh empowerment to achieve His PURPOSE for your life (your DESTINY in Christ). Don't allow past shame or guilt to hold you back any longer. The Lord desires to release His blessings to you today. Receive it; believe it and it is yours!

“But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. Heb 9:11-12,24-26
We are now living in the great day of atonement. In the typical service, while the high priest was making the atonement for Israel, all were required to afflict their souls by repentance of sin and humiliation before the Lord, lest they be cut off from among the people. In like manner, all who would have their names retained in the book of life should now, in the few remaining days of their probation, afflict their souls before God by sorrow for sin and true repentance. There must be deep, faithful searching of heart. The light, frivolous spirit indulged by so many professed Christians must be put away. There is earnest warfare before all who would subdue the evil tendencies that strive for the mastery. The work of preparation is an individual work. We are not saved in groups. The purity and devotion of one will not offset the want of these qualities in another. Though all nations are to pass in judgment before God, yet He will examine the case of each individual with as close and searching scrutiny as if there were not another being upon the earth. Everyone must be tested and found without spot or wrinkle or any such thing. Solemn are the scenes connected with the closing work of the atonement. Momentous are the interests involved therein. The judgment is now passing in the sanctuary above. For many years this work has been in progress. Soon—none know how soon—it will pass to the cases of the living. In the awful presence of God our lives are to come up in review. At this time above all others it behooves every soul to heed the Saviour’s admonition: “Watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.” Mark 13:33. – {CCh 348.5}

🏔️ The New Jerusalem — God's Mountain, Eden Restored, and the City Coming Down From Heaven
> “Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”
— Revelation 21:2 (NKJV)
The New Jerusalem is not a symbol. It is a real city, currently in Heaven, prepared by Jesus Himself. It is God’s dwelling with man, the Bride of the Lamb, and the place where Eden, Mount Zion, and the House of God are fulfilled — permanently.
Let’s explore the overwhelming biblical evidence that the New Jerusalem is a literal, physical, pyramid-shaped city that will descend from Heaven to Earth, bringing God’s government and presence for a thousand years, and then forever.
📐 Dimensions: The Shape of the City
> “The city is laid out as a square... its length, breadth, and height are equal.”
— Revelation 21:16
This city is 12,000 stadia in every direction — about 1,500 miles wide, deep, and high. That’s not figurative. It is a massive, geometric structure — either a perfect cube, like the Holy of Holies (1 Kings 6:20), or more likely a pyramid, matching the image of a mountain:
Isaiah 2:2 — “The mountain of the Lord's house shall be established on the top of the mountains…”
Psalm 48:2 — “Mount Zion on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.”
✨ A City Prepared by Jesus
> “I go to prepare a place for you... and I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”
— John 14:2–3
Jesus did not say He would build us a metaphor. He said He would prepare an actual place. The New Jerusalem is that place — God’s building, not man’s:
2 Corinthians 5:1 — “A building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”
Hebrews 11:10 — “Abraham waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.”
👑 Some Standing Here Will See the Kingdom
> “Assuredly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God present with power.”
— Mark 9:1
This verse is not allegorical. What follows is Jesus taking Peter, James, and John up a high mountain where they are shown His glorified state (Mark 9:2–8). This is often called the Transfiguration, but what they saw was a preview of the New Jerusalem:
Jesus’ face shone like the sun
His clothes were white as light
They saw Moses and Elijah, who appeared in glory (Luke 9:30–31)
A cloud overshadowed them, and the Father’s voice was heard — just like in Revelation 21, where God dwells with His people
💫 The Star of Bethlehem Was the New Jerusalem
> “...the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was.”
— Matthew 2:9
This was no normal star. Stars don’t travel in front of people and stop directly above small homes. The “star” was the New Jerusalem, visible from Earth, shining with the glory of God, like it will again when it descends (Revelation 21:11).
The angels descended from this “star” and announced His birth. This aligns with Revelation 21:2 and Luke 2:9–14.
🌑 The Eclipse at Jesus' Death — Shadow from the City?
> “From the sixth hour until the ninth hour there was darkness over all the land.”
— Matthew 27:45
This unexplained, unnatural darkness may have been more than a sign — it could have been the shadow cast by the New Jerusalem, descending from Heaven and aligning above Earth. Like in Exodus 40:34, where the glory cloud overshadowed the tabernacle, the presence of the city may have covered the Earth during this divine event.
🌊 Eden Restored: The River and the Tree of Life
> “And he showed me a pure river of water of life… On either side of the river was the tree of life…”
— Revelation 22:1–2
This is the restoration of Eden. In Genesis 2, Eden had a river flowing from it that split into four. The Tree of Life was there.
In Revelation, we see the same pattern, but eternal. The New Jerusalem is Eden, returned in glory, healing the nations.
🏞️ All the Names of the New Jerusalem in Scripture
Throughout the Bible, the New Jerusalem is referred to in many ways:
Name Verse
New Jerusalem Revelation 3:12, 21:2
The Bride Revelation 21:9
The Mountain of the Lord’s House Isaiah 2:2
Mount Zion Psalm 48:2, Isaiah 24:23
God’s Holy Mountain Isaiah 11:9, 65:25
Eden Ezekiel 28:13–14, Revelation 22:1–2
The Tabernacle of God Revelation 21:3
The House not made with hands 2 Corinthians 5:1
The City of the Living God Hebrews 12:22
Heavenly Jerusalem Galatians 4:26, Hebrews 12:22
⏳ It Will Stay for a Thousand Years
> “And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.”
— Revelation 20:4
When Jesus returns, the city will descend to Earth. The saints will reign with Him from this city during the Millennial Kingdom — a literal 1,000-year rule on Earth.
Zechariah 14:4–9 — The Lord will stand on the Mount of Olives; living waters will flow out
Isaiah 2:3 — “Out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.”
