Something about this most recent episode has made an interesting point clear to me:

In season 1, we were given the mystery as to who Hawkmoth is, sure there were hints and suspicions, but doubt existed until his identity was confirmed in season 2.

Now, in season 6, we are put in the interesting position of knowing exactly who is using the butterfly miraculous… but do we? We might know Lila as a concept, as an existing character, but we actually have no idea in what role she is currently existing. We have no idea who Lila is right now, effectively making our guesses as to who has the butterfly miraculous useless.

The mystery has begun once more, and I can’t wait to see how it unfolds

HI! I'm the one who sent the really long Cryptoid/Morphs ask before!

So, on the idea of eggs I was thinking... seekerling eggs naturally have the spark in them. And the energon goop. And a (developing) body. Which meets the requirements for the cybermorphs. So I was thinking... the seeker eggs still happen, but within the seekerling in another smaller egg that is of morph origin. The seekerling forms about halfway (first trimester done) before the morph starts doing their thing. It hatches inside the seekerling, and sense it's half developed, it's really easy for the morphling to take over its processor. So kinda like the parasoid wasps idea. In the second trimester of development, the seekerlings are fully taken over, resulting in a sort of blobby, wiggly, kinda looks like a blood filled tick, mess of a baby. In the final trimester, the egg hatches. And requires a full grown host. So, really becomes like the parasoid wasps. Instead of just taking over the tanks of a bot, they slowly devower the inside of the bot, but pilot it with hormones. And the bot acts all the same as normal. Like... doesn't die, feels insatiable hunger? Some random cramps or whatnot from their chassis, but otherwise is fine. Even better if the morphlings have the ability to produce that numbing agent (the one in exploded seekerling eggs) inside their host; preventing the host from even noticing their impending doom. And the pheromones to the processor ensure the host feels undying loyalty to the nest queen, while also ensuring they are relaxed enough not to worry about their frame's internal torment.

Pretty good? I like this AU a lot.

This is brilliant but there's a couple things I wanna bring up

In this scenario, there's 2 separate, individual embryos inside the eggs, with the cybermorph devouring/fusing with it's sibling. It's a really cool idea but doesn't really make sense with the idea of the sire seeker fertilizing the cybermorph eggs. Like, in that situation there'd only be one embryo unless they split into twins, so consider 👀 this happens in reverse. The morphling taking over the seekerling happens if a cybermorph fertilizes a seeker egg. A separate cybermorph embryo is implanted into the seeker egg, and excess genetic code also creates a baby seekerling (or maybe the cynermorph sire has straight up stolen already fertilized eggs and is using them to give their offspring an edge. Idk). That's where the terrifying little bloodbag baby comes from! The resulting baby is a lot more heavily skewed toward their sire's original biology, as their genetic code is significantly more dominant and voracious in this situation

But in the reverse, i.e. a seeker fertilizing otherwise-sterile cybermorph eggs (like what's going on with Megatron and Starscream), they make a single embryo per-egg when they're still in-utero. The resulting mecha is a much more balanced version--possibly the only ones that are flight capable. There's a lot of crossover, but while the first ones are silent killers that keep their hosts numb from the inside, the second ones are a lot more violent.

Hear me out 👀 both varieties of vosimorphs pilot their hosts. (I'm calling seeker-cybermorph hybrids vosimorphs. At least the ones descended from Vos and are therefore more inclined to incredible speed. Ones from Helexian seeker are Helemorphs [pronounced heal-e-morphs) or just straight up Helmorphs [hell-morphs lol]). But while the first version pilots them quietly and flies under the radar, the second version is a lot more aggressive. The embryo anchors itself into direct control lines of the nervous system, and something about them lets them infect and take over the processor. It starts to rot and rust: the host gets increasingly more irritable, angry, violent, reclusive. Think like an animal infected with rabies. They decline rapidly, because these bitties do the vast majority of their development in their eggs. What do they need the hosts for? Good question! I have no idea other than psych horror is fun 😌 maybe it's just an instinctual thing, but anyway! The more balanced vosimorphs take over the host's processor and vause rapid decline, making them devour any and all energon in sight, maybe even driving them to cannibalism if other fuel isn't readily available.

When it's time for the newborn to break free, they take their host, now reduced to a thoughtless zombie, somewhere high up--a building, a cliff, a bridge, it doesn't matter--and take a leap, letting gravity take them. It's an instinctual thing, the feel of falling and the call of the sky lets the baby know it's time. They emerge from the back rather than the chassis, like a butterfly emerging from their chrysallis, right before their host hits the ground.

11. Something you want to do again next year?

Wow, I don't think I did too many activities outside this year. I can't think of the right word at the moment, but I'd love to just continue to engage and meet new people in community spaces online. I know I want to continue playing games with people online, which has been huge for me this year, and there's always this little happiness in my heart where people's just like "omg I finally get to play with Key" even if I'm terrible like whaaaaa?!?!! 🤪. Of course, I want to write fics again this year (I wanted to get one more chapter done before the year was over but I've just been in my gamer arc and tired too 🤭 but I am gonna write. I think that about covers what I wanna do again this year.

13. How was your birthday this year?

Ah, so the actual day of my birthday I had work (It was still within my 90 days you know how it is... gotta show I'm a dependable employee and gotta get thar bag, man 🤭) so I did my shift and my mom actually got me some flowers, a balloon, and a cake that was sweet. I ended the night, actually playing fortnite with some friends, and of course, the sweats were on but I ended up carrying us to a victory royal with my 3 kill lead (not really but I can dream) and that was that. So, the actual weekend, me, my sisters, and brother just went out to eat, and of course, I got a drink, so I was feeling pretty good after that 🤣. So yeah, I lived it up for my 24th, Ig.

19. What’re you excited about for next year?

I'm excited to see what it'll bring and, of course, how I'll grow and be a better human being. I just want to make myself and my family proud, gonna give it my best. Very similar to #11, I'm excited to share the stories once I finish them cause I've gotten so confident and comfortable with just sharing stuff online, and I just have so much stuff I wanna write. You had frozen at this point. One would think you were one of Malleus’ beloved gargoyles—well, grotesque more accurate to say, from the way you had turned into into stone.

What would you say? How do you react? Silver said it so matter of factly as if it was already true and set in stone.

You are happily in a relationship with Lilia. You two have been for a while now. It’s been amazing!

But mother?! It came out of nowhere. You won’t deny it gave you giddy feelings especially at the implications—but wait, how did Lilia take this news?

You twirl around to face him and the expression he has is one you have never seen before.

If you weren’t so taken by it, you would have taken a picture to save this moment forever. No matter, you doubt you would ever forget this sight.

In front of you, one Lilia Vanrouge smiled. A blush swept his cheeks to his ears. His eyes have a soft hue of rose magenta. He looked at you as if you were the center of the world and he but a planet pulled to you.

“Marry me.”

You laughed.

You vaguely heard glassware shattering.

“You did not just ask me that!”

Of all the ways…

“I did,” Lilia cheekily grinned at you.

You leaned on your hand, smirking at him with eyebrows raised, “You’d think I’d say yes to that?”

You turned to see Sebek’s reactions had been muffled this entire time by Silver’s hand.

You thought about it, but not really fully. You couldn’t hide the wide smile on your face even if you tried, and really, you weren’t trying at all.

“Okay, let’s get married.”

A flurry of green, black, pink, and limbs has you trapped on the couch. Kisses are placed all over your face and neck as both of your laughter resounds in Diasomnia’s lounge.

Malleus stared at the scene before him.

His eyes moved to Silver who nodded at him.

Ah. So they’ve finally taken the next step.

Malleus sighed internally, for all his wisdom and whimsy…Lilia was oblivious to matters important to him.

Really? How many times would one of them have to step in for him to see what was in front of him.

He calls me stubborn.

Malleus returns to his room after nodding a ‘well done’ to Silver.

He had a few letters to send, one of which to his grandmother. Lilia would need an increase in his allowance and you would need to meet her…

Truly. This is something he should have done already.

…this story went from A -> C -> B -> H ahsjsjdjd 😂😂😆😆 I initially started this as a funny joke where Silver calls you “Mother.”… and then it snowballed to a proposal randomly absjsjdjdjd 😂😂💞💞💚💚

I swear at least a quarter of my stories is Lilia proposing. Ahsjsjdj which yes, very self indulgent of me because omg proposal by Lilia absjsjdjdn *internal screaming* love love love it ahhhh 💙💙💙🥰🥰🥰

But I just find it funny it happened so many times now. Something something for every nickel I have for this something something I’d have a dollar lolol

Some facts about this fic:

I love love adore the idea of Lilia blushing and the redness just spreading from his cheeks to his ears. Ahhhh the image in my head is so cute 😭😭💞💞

That proposal, as I said before, wasn’t there before. But then Lilia took over and said “yes, proposal.” And then we got proposals. I think I changed that scene about 3 or 4 times 😅😂 I couldn’t decide?? And Lilia was taking me in all directions on how the proposal would go and which dialogue. Seriously, this bat fae, taking me for a ride lolol

One example is you pulling him close instead of away and saying “yes” and he becomes flustered but then this bat fae said no; he wants some banter so I had to change it.

Malleus was supposed to show up and just accept the chaos in front of him and sit down to have coffee…but theeeennn mind went, what if it was planned? Lilia is…well, he’s oblivious at times but he is wise. Sometimes, he doesn’t know what he wants or he has trouble grasping onto it. Like…he doesn’t believe he deserve to have them. (Healing takes time after all).

We see how Silver literally had to ask for his name. Yes, Lilia had his reasons but he’s always had kept it to himself. Literally, had to be “I want your last name.” to him. So, the same thing applies here. His family stepped in and gave a push. Lol

Malleus’ last line at the end was influenced but Cater’s SSR Halloween where he goes, “Blood related or not, we are family aren’t we? Didn’t you promise to come to us for help when you needed it?” (not verbatim). I like the idea of reversing that on Lilia a bit. His family helping him out. ☺️☺️💞💞
