Although Fairies appear humanoid in nature, they actually have a more pure form unseen by the naked eye. This is because Humans lack the ability to perceive anything beyond the fourth dimension. Given enough magic, a Fairy can manifest their true form onto all planes of existence.
This is usually not recommended, as seeing a Fairy's purest form can cause madness. A Fairy should only use their pure form when necessary, such as containing uncontrollable wishes, or high quantities of magic. Especially since there's heavy drawbacks and sacrifices to manifesting one's pure form.

Image N.18 of #Hubble30 : A Rose Made of Galaxies
A rose made of two interacting galaxies. The distorted shape is likely due to gravitational effects, and it is thought that the smaller galaxy has passed through the larger one.

On a quiet patch of earth where the wind speaks in whispers and the sun paints the ground gold, the cosmos flowers bloom, unruly and radiant. They grow where no one asks them to, in the cracks of forgotten places, along dirt roads, and in the spaces people overlook… they are not even meant to be there, yet there they are, standing tall with their faces turned skyward, as if they know something we’ve forgotten.
No fuss, no grand announcement, just this persistent joy. It reminds me that life, at its core, is not always about chasing perfection or reaching milestones. Sometimes it’s about showing up with your heart open, again and again, even when no one is watching. In the wild beauty of those flowers, there’s a lesson… one that feels especially true in the South African soul. We are not here merely to survive. We are here to flourish. To rise with purpose. To fill the spaces we’re given with colour, kindness, and courage. Like the cosmos, we were born with something beautiful inside us… something the world needs, even if it doesn’t realise it yet.
Life will test you. There’ll be seasons that strip you down to your roots. But even then, even in the hardest soil, something sacred grows. That’s the quiet miracle of it all. That in the midst of uncertainty, we still get to choose what we become. And every choice, to hope, to dream, to be gentle, to begin again… is an act of grace.
The cosmos don’t bloom for applause. They bloom because it’s who they are. And maybe that’s what we’re called to do too… to rise into the fullness of who we are meant to be, not for recognition, but because the world needs more real, more light, more colour.
You don’t have to have it all figured out. Just keep growing. Keep believing that your story matters. That your presence makes a difference. That there’s something in you, an idea, a kindness, a spark… that could change everything for someone else. Like wildflowers in the dust, may you always remember: you are here for a reason. You are part of something vast and beautiful. And no matter where you find yourself, there is still time to bloom.
