Murphey's Law...Again

Dave picked our daughter up after her marching band practice and were supposed to be heading home at 5. I just spoke with my youngest who informed me that the alternator on the van went. They had just made it back to Dave's boss's garage when the van broke down. The boss loaned him his small truck for now, but we need to get the stickin' alternator replaced asap.

So I started looking up different automotive sites to try to find the cheapest alternator I could find. I went on rock Auto, Advanced Auto, Auto Zone, and NAPA and the lowest price I could find was $166.25 UGH! (that's me screaming). Advanced Auto was the cheapest and NAPA was the most expensive.

We now need to raise money to buy an alternator. Dave needs the van to get to work. So, now we have to prioritize the van over getting propane for the heat.

my car broke down an hour from home last night and I had to limp the car to my sister's place about 20 minutes away stopping every few minutes to recharge the battery with jumper cables so I didn't get home until like 4am and didn't get to sleep until about 5 and so I was awake for about 25 hours and I only got about 5 hours of sleep and now I need to fix the stupid car AGAIN and it's the fuckin alternator AGAIN which takes about 6 hours to replace and also I don't know why it failed 2ish months after I replaced it and also my entire body hurts especially my feet because my ebike battery fell off the counter onto BOTH of them when I got to work so if someone could uncurse me that would be fantastic thank you

but hey I found a $5 bill on the ground on my way to work so I got that goin for me which is nice
