I haven’t read a contemporary with a magical realism element in it for a minute, so I had to snap up ‘The Seven Year Slip.’ It’s giving me ‘The Lake House‘ vibes, the film with Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves… can’t wait to see how it measures up! What is your favourite novel with magical realism? The only other novel I can think of with a similar premise is ‘Landline‘ by Rainbow Rowell.
