Releasing this second book has been a such a huge milestone for me as a writer. I feel so proud of how I’ve grown and developed my style of writing. I’ve gotten some amazing reviews on my work but I’ve also received critiques that have helped me grow as an author. As I’m writing the final book to this first trilogy, I can’t help but look back at where I started.. the doubts, the fear, the rejections, and the small victories that kept me going. Being self published hasn’t been easy, it’s taken a lot of work, a lot of money but in the end I’m doing what I love and I’m never going to stop. I can’t wait to see all stories I write next. Some may say I live in a fantasy world, but then I have to ask, which one? The world where I’ve become an author, I’m doing what I love, and I get to tell stories I hope others will enjoy, or the worlds I’ve created in my head?
