Talking about the witch again because I love her

The Witch makes for a wonderful parrell to John and his goal of becoming human and I dont think its talked about enough

The Witch points out in her episode that John has this very hopeful and idealised view of humanity. Its where the Witch makes for a gorgeous parallel to him for where he has seen what he deems the best humanity has to offer. the Witch has seen and experienced the worst. While John has through Arthurs eyes seen some of the terrible things that humans can do ie Larson or The Butcher. John has never actually experienced this having only been able to watch (this is also an interesting point for Johns lack of autonomy and how it affects his worldview). Plus the horrors always are there doing something worse compared to humans.

The Witch also has a point when she says that his act was no sacrifice, while we the listener knows that John and The King are different John did introduce himself to her as The King. For all The Witch knows he did nothing and claims it to be an act of self sacrifice.

The Witch does not view humanity highly and has no desire to be part of it due to her considerable trauma at the hands of humans, so when she attempts John from Arthur she belives herself doing the King as John claims to be a favour. Since logically he should be able to return to his kingdom once he is no longer attached to the mortal. This is logical to her because she doesnt know that he is a fractured part of The King.

The both of them are opposites of the same coin. One is an entity trying to become human and the other a human trying to be anything but. Both try to change the others mind trying to save the other in their own way.

I was thinking if there were guns in the twst universe and suddenly remembered that there are kinda guns in Beanfest. But... is that really a gun? I read the event so long ago so i can't really remember it honestly.

I imagine that if something like that exist that must implicitly say that there is an equivalent of guns in twisted wonderland

My dad bought me a "beginners guide to witchcraft" or something book years and years and years ago, but recently, I've been reading through it more often, and it's literally so fun. Mostly because the more I read it, the more I realize witchcraft is literally just self care with a different font.

"Use this ritual to connect with Mother Earth!" And it's just sitting outside for like 5 minutes. But you bet your a++ I'm gonna do that ritual anyways, it's fun

"If you're having trouble sleeping, here's some teas you can drink! Make sure you know what's keeping you awake, though!" Yeah, that's just. Self-awareness and tea. But y'know what I like tea so yeah I'll do that

i’m sure i’ve posted this before but i grew up atheist (culturally christian in the sense that im a usamerican who didn’t belong to any other religion either and also weren’t like Agressively atheist, celebrated christmas and easter but god and jesus were never a part of that at all) and anyway i would often privately think to myself about my christian friends “wow they really believe in all that like for real?” meanwhile i WHOLEHEARTEDLY believed in santa claus until i was at least 9 or 10. no questions there.

Out of all my least favourite combat weapons, I am not vibing with the wand/staff no matter how powerful it could be depending on your level. The design is awesome tho. I mean holy hells! It's a futuristic combat staff!

Barnes: Don't be like that Oscar, Carter is just being himself. In fact, didn't you once said "be yourself, everyone else is already taken"?

Zolf: *who knows that Wilde never said any of this things* *breaks laughing*

Carter: Yeah, it was right after "never love anybody who treats you like you’re ordinary".

Wilde: I hate all of you.

Zolf: Why? Wasn't you the one going "there is only one thing in life worse than being talked about" well we are talking about you.

Wilde: I never... wait... no...I actually did say that one.
