When I called these Israeli extremists "terrorists," I got some angry/abusive responses from some readers -- not, of course, from Israelis, who agree with me, but from pro-Israel people abroad. Mike Huckabee is right. And it's a damn shame that we need the American ambassador, this passionate lover of Israel, to remind us just how vile this rogue element within us has become. Bibi, this is low-hanging fruit. A no-brainer. Get it done.

I’d like to point something out. The other week Trump threatened to stop arms shipments to Israel if the corruption trial for Netanyahu moved forward, unironically calling it a “which hunt”. The charges against Netanyahu are plentiful and well documented. Now why would Trump interfere with Israeli politics like that?

Trump has repeatedly cast blame on President Zelenskyy for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, an invasion Putin initiated. He even went so far as to accuse Zelenskyy of being a dictator. All the while the criticism thrown towards Putin has been mild and infrequent. Now why would he blame the country which was invaded rather than condemn the aggressor?

Early in trumps 2nd reign he struck a deal with El Salvador’s president Nayib Bukele, in Bukeles words, “the worlds coolest dictator”, for an undisclosed amount to detain immigration roundups in the supermax torture prison CECOT. Trump was caught on a hot mic after a press conference joking about the need to build more torture prisons in El Salvador to house “homegrowns”, referring to American citizens. Now why would he do that?

Upon realizing his eminent defeat in Brazil’s 2022 election former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro devised a plan to subvert the democratic process and suspend congress and their superior court. He went so far as to incite an insurrection and had a mob of supporters storm congress to retain power. The coup failed and over 1,400 people were arrested for their involvement in the attempted coup. Last week Trump threatened a 50% tariff on Brazil if the trial against Bolsonaro went forward, as this article explains he is pulling the visas from numerous judges who serve on Brazilian courts. Why would he threaten tariffs and revoke visas from Brazilian judges for holding Bolsonaro accountable for his attempts to overturn an election and overthrow their government?
