Guys, should I check out the tv series “The Crown” ?

I heard it’s pretty good (despite its flaws ofc lol, and I mean it is technically a historical dramatisation of real life events, like ofc historical events have to be dramatised for storytelling purposes lol, but I digress)

But…..the thing is….I’m anti-monarchy (as in, I do not give a SINGLE fuck about the Royal Family, and I say this as a British person myself btw, like honestly the Royal Family can DO ONE 🖕🖕🖕)

Buuuuuuuutttttt-

1)) The series was created by Peter Morgan (who also wrote the “Michael Sheen as Tony Blair” film trilogy, which includes the films; “The Deal” (2003), “The Queen” (2006), and “The Special Relationship” (2010), and I absolutely LOVE Michael Sheen and I’ve been meaning to check out the trilogy soon!)

2)) Charles Edwards is in it. No notes. (I love Charles Edwards)

3)) To expand on my last point, almost EVERY. SINGLE. BRITISH. ACTOR. AND. ACTRESS. IS. IN. THIS. BLOODY. SERIES.

4)) British Queer Playwright James Graham (who also wrote the plays “This House” and “Best of Enemies” (both also starring Charlie Edwards) among other plays, as well as writing the film “Coalition” (2015), among other stuff too) also wrote for an episode of the show too, sooo…….

5)) Jonny Lee Miller……as John Major. No further notes. (HE’S ACTUALLY SO HOT AS JOHN MAJOR WHAT THE ACTUAL FU-) (also apparently THERES A SPITTING IMAGE REFERENCE IN THE SHOW???)

6)) the British comedy revue Beyond the Fringe (Peter Cook, Dudley Moore, Alan Bennett, Jonathan Miller) is in an episode of the show, which is very cool :D!! (as a fan of British Comedy, I am pleased to hear that they have a cameo in this series ☺️☺️❤️❤️)

7)) Bertie Carvel……as Tony Blair (honestly he looks aLOT like Tony Blair frfr, perfect casting there 💯💯. Plus Bertie Carvel honestly looks a lot more like Tony Blair than he does look like Nick Clegg in “Coalition” (2015) lmao 🤣)

Soo….mhmmmm…..I *might* possibly check out this series maybe?

One of the first lessons Bruce taught Dick when he was training to become Robin was to make use of every weapon in his arsenal. He of course meant his utility belt. But Dick just nodded his head so seriously and said, “Got it.”

And that’s how Robin became the menace kid that bites people. His arms are held back by a goon? Chomp! He can’t reach his birdarangs in time? Chomp! He’s just mad at someone and needs a quick and easy attack? Chomp!

Bruce can’t even get mad, because Dick always looks so proud of himself, and it does work rather efficiently. So he’ll just sigh and pinch the bridge of his nose (even if he’s wearing the cowl) and tell Robin he did a good job.

Bruce is just thankful he doesn’t bite other kids at school when he’s being Dick Grayson. He’s called into the principal’s office at Gotham Academy for enough other reasons, he doesn’t need to add biting to the list.

thinking about how in oxygen, nardole finds out the doctor is still blind and is very worried about it cause he fears missy could sense that and use that vulnerability to escape. And then, at the start of extremis, the episode right after that, the doctor puts his forehead against the door of the vault and just tells her. He tells her he's blind and he's scared. plain and simple. She doesn't even have to find out, because he goes willingly to her and tells her he's blind, he's vulnerable, and he tells her.
