Inspired by this idea from @mintydeluxes-blog about Sir Topham Hat as a train, and I want to spin that idea about Captain Star & Captain Zero turned into tugs (under the names Anthony & Zcaramuccia, which their fleets don't recognized).

Star was the not enthusiastic about this predicament, but was willing to put up with it.

Zero on the other hand…

He's taken it bad, and he's very pissed about it.

Ooooh boy, this would be a humbling experience for them...

this makes me think... did you know the lighting in this game is baked on? like, there isn't a real lighting engine underwater per se - the shadows and light spots on the sand are coded into the stage models themselves using internal light values

the light beams, on the other hand, are transparent objects (which a lot of other games at the time also did to make light beams) :P

Honestly I am the world's fakest train fan and my entire criteria for liking trains or not is how emotionally attached I am to them but if that's a valid criteria then here we go!

I love a good Great Western tank engine, that's the first train to come to mind and I am definitely not emotionally attached to the 57XX class for any particular reason (Duck was and has remained my favorite Railway Series character since I was like...3 or 4).

I also like the Class G 0-6-0s on the Boston & Maine Railroad, I don't love most American locomotives but the B&M obviously holds a special place in my heart and I think Class Gs are particularly delightful looking <3

Then okay yes I do think the new Red Line cars for the Boston T are more functional but I am deeply in love with the old Pullman cars, the shape and the paint job is so pleasing.

Anyways! I should get better at Train but unfortunately I have gotten sidetracked by Boat - I continue in my plea that someone should write Boat Book about Train instead but we shall see.
