43. Do they prefer day or night?

Vijay prefers day as he feels he gets more private stuff done even though he's not an early bird (wakes up mostly around 1pm). Nighttime for him means mostly work — merc work. There are day work exceptions tho. You can say he's comfortable with both but still he would always prefer daytime over night time.

49. What's their favorite store to be in? Least favorite?

Jay's favorite store to be in is practically any store that sells awesome cars. He will be inspecting every car and even think about what could be the best way to steal one of them. His least favorite store is anything that sells healthy products.

2. A sound they find irritating

The sound deers are making. They are such cute and even majestic creatures and then they do this.

41. What kind of exercise do they most enjoy/need?

Thyjs needs his daily dosage of Militech soldier training. When he gets up first he does is go jogging. Also trains with a box sack to practise his dodging but that isn't enough for an Ex-Militech and KCT soldaat! So either he goes alone or with Ryder or even Arki and does some assault course he and the boys built up in an empty industrial site to stay fit. Often they train together and exercise so they stay skilled and fit for merc work. Thyjs though is the one who trains most and each day.

32. What is their ideal work environment in terms of light, sounds, other people, etc.?

Hizumi's ideal work environment is definitely not down in the streets. They prefer to work and operate from roofs and other higher points so they can overlook everything. It's mainly because they don't feel safe on the ground in Night City. Rooftops give them some shelter so whenever Hizumi works on something (also counts for training) they do it on a rooftop. Light is not really needed and sounds are less noisy on the roof as well. They are not in need of other people but they do enjoy when e.g. Ryder joins them for sword fight practise as both use blades (Ry is only mantis tho, while Hizumi wields katana/tanto).

20. A song that instantly transports them back to a certain memory.

That would be this song:

Falco is, like Ryder, a Techno(ise) connoisseur and he went to his first techno(ise) party in his teens already (unlike Ryder) and this song is one of the first one that sucked him into this world for real. It made him start wanting to create his own music and in general he's got lots of good memories of partying in Cologne to this song. Even today it's on his playlist as the last played song before he goes off the stage.

A fine giugno, come ogni anno, alla Praja Gallipoli, epicentro del grande network di locali gestiti da Musicaeparole, si comincia a fare sul serio. Da lunedì 30 giugno fino a domenica 6 luglio si balla ogni notte, con una sola serata di riposo, martedì 1 luglio. Il ritmo è altissimo, la qualità e la varietà musicale assoluta. I biglietti per ogni serata di una settimana pazzesca sono già disponibili in prevendita.

Si parte lunedì 30 giugno con Summer of Love e l'energia unica di Niccolò Torielli, un amico di lunga data per la Praja. Personaggio tv dalla carriera ormai lunga (Radio 105, Le Iene, etc) e, soprattutto, sempre spesa tra successi e sorrisi, senza mai prendersi troppo sul serio.

Eccoci a mercoledì 2 luglio, quando alla Praja Gallipoli si balla con DanceHall vs Reggaeton XXL, una festa dedicata ai ritmi latin che non danno respiro, mentre giovedì 2 luglio, quando prende vita 4ever Young. E' un party per chi non smette mai di ballare, ieri come oggi. Dai brani che ci hanno fatto crescere alle hit che ci fanno muovere adesso: un viaggio musicale nel tempo, dal primo all'ultimo disco.

Venerdì 4 luglio la settimana pazzesca di Praja Gallipoli torna BigMama, il black party Made in Salento, ma con qualcosa in più. Questa volta da m2o arriva il ritmo di One Two One Two. Sul palco c'è l'energia di Michele Wad e Val S. E' una notte che parla hip hop, trap e reggaeton, senza sconti e senza filtri.

Sabato 5 luglio ecco sul palco Ludwig e Federico Scavo. Ludwig, romano classe 1992, è un cantante e producer noto per hit pop-dance come "Domani ci passa" e "Curioso". Ha conquistato il pubblico giovane con sound freschi, testi ironici e show energici, costruendosi una fanbase tra social, radio e live. Federico Scavo, invece è un DJ e produttore toscano attivo dai primi anni 2000, celebre per le sue hit house e remix ufficiali per artisti come Bob Sinclar e Snoop Dogg. I suoi brani sono suonati nei top club internazionali, tra groove e innovazione. Tra sue mille hit, ecco "Strump".

La settimana  pazzesca di Praja Gallipoli si chiude domenica 6 luglio con Supersunday e Mambolosco. Mambolosco, pseudonimo di William Miller Hickman III, è un rapper italo-americano nato nel 1990. Attivo nella scena trap italiana, si distingue per flow aggressivo, slang originale e look distintivo. Ha collaborato con Boro Boro ed è una delle vere star di questo genere musicale.

Il club è l'anima della Praja Gallipoli, che nell'estate 2025 fa scatenare con top dj come Bob Sinclar e Steve Aoki. Il suo palco è il mainstage di tutti i grandi spettacoli live e dj set. Tupac did it with the "The 7 Day Theory", Prodigy succeded at this as well with "The Book of Revelation" and now Ka has dropped a swan song a month prior to his departure from this physical realm with "The Thief Next To Jesus" - a record where the Brownsville lyricist sounds tired as all hell, as if he just might collapse while spitting over the lo-fi gospel samples that sounds like if DJ Muggs would have produced the Good Book series with Budgie instead of The Alchemist. Yes, Ka sounds tired - but the subject matter on this record gives every reason for that as he makes a (I'd assume) knowing last ditch effort to get a message out to those who can tap into his tribal frequency. Listening to "The Theif Next To Jesus" can either reaffirm or induce revelation. The whole record I felt tears in my ducts but didn't release any, because the material is so relatable I've already been cried out. "The Theif Next To Jesus" is a litany of struggle rap that boasts organic credibility and cautionary tales to not fall for the "okey-doke" in European society if you dont carry the ethnic makeup of the colonizing caucasians. "Growing up I was told you cant have this, put that back next time" and "If they really wanted to bless me, they would have left me the collection plate" on a bed of stories about mustard sandwiches and empty fridges - though Ka's tired vocals are sometimes inaudible over the high volume, lo-fi beats - I dont mind playing this back to get another helping of Ka's food for the soul that is more filling than the pie in the sky "The Thief Next To Jesus" decidedly spoils.

Certainly the best DIY project of 2024. I am honored to have heard of Ka through his "Descendants of Cain" project previously through DEHH. So when "According To Hip-Hop" reported his passing I was able to absorb the volume of this loss of one of Hip-Hop's rare Mix Master MC's through taking "The Theif Next To Jesus" for a memorable spin.

Looking for a housemate starting Dec 1 (maybe earlier), room is 950 not including utilities, which typically are around 80 per month. On the sunny side of the apartment, top floor of a brownstone. Hardwood floors, window in every room (the living room has a skylight), small but well designed apartment with an open kitchen and living room. One bathroom, which faces back yard (there are trees 😍).

I am a 37 year old immigration lawyer as well as artist manager and advocate. I also play music and dj. I currently work from home but that may change in the future. I often go out to parties and raves. I don’t have parties at the house often (maybe once a year) but I do often have a friend over. We are all 420 friendly and enjoy a relaxed and upkept environment. I love to cook and share, to watch movies and relax with my housemates in the common area, engage in parallel play and craft time as well. I go on bike rides when the weather allows. I can be a homebody in the winter and a manic ephemera in the summer.

My housemate Venus is in their late 20s and works in philanthropy and equity advocacy. They work from home sometimes and go to the office at others. They are active and friendly and have a cat who is sweet. They are clean and I never smell cat litter etc.

We are ooking for a housemate who is interested in similar things and would feel comfortable in this environment. The common area is fully furnished but there is room on the walls and space can be made for your favorite art etc. looking for someone interested in fostering a friendly and cooperative home— direct communication, kindness, and collaborative approaches are most. No more cats as she prefers humans.

This is a subleasing arrangement with the option of signing on to the lease after 3 months. Some other useful info: a 10 min walk to the Myrtle willoughby G, 12 mins to the flushing j/m and 15 mins to the broadway/myrtle j/m. By at least 3 different grocery stores. There is a rinky lil laundry machine in the basement but I use the laundromat just a couple blocks away. There are a few very close by to choose from. I’m super close to herb Von king park, arguably the best neighborhood park in Brooklyn and maybe all 5 boros (bold claim I know but it’s a great park).

Friday Fiesta il 10/01/25, poi l'11/01 arriva Il Rosso… E 10 party fino all’1 febbraio ’25 @ Circus beatclub - Brescia

Anche a gennaio 2025 il ritmo al  Circus beatclub – Brescia non si ferma. Anzi continua a proporre party d'eccellenza, come per tutto il 2024. In realtà lo staff del top club guidato da Antonio Gregori ha già comunicato tutto ciò che si ballerà dal 10 gennaio all'1 febbraio, per  ben 10 party da non perdere. 

Si inizia, ovviamente con evento scatenato. Venerdì 10 si balla con Friday Fiesta, mentre sabato 11 gennaio '25 per il party Crush, ecco il primo special guest. E' Il Rosso, un noto streamer di Twitch (dove è seguito da quasi 500.000 persone), che in poco tempo è riuscito a raggiungere traguardi significativi per la sua carriera.  Lo streamer è noto anche per ospitare durante le sue live vari rapper, tra cui, Boro Boro, Mambo Losco, Don Pero e tanti altri... Perché al Circus la musica e i dj contano moltissimo… ma conta pure il divertimento, in tutte le sue sfumature.

Annunciamo già anche gli appuntamenti della settimana successiva, che vanno in scena venerdì 17 e sabato 18 gennaio '25: la prima sera è previsto un Jungle Beats Theme Party tutto da vivere, mentre Crush, la sera successiva, è una student night tutta da vivere.

I party previsti, per tutta l'infinita stagione autunno 2024 - primavera 2025 sono oltre 100 e come è logico che sia non tutto viene svelato prima ancora che il locale apra di nuovo le sue porte. Circus sarà aperto tre sere a settimana, dal giovedì al sabato, con tre appuntamenti molto diversi tra loro... e come ogni anno è stato rinnovato in tanti dettagli fondamentali per uno spazio dedicato al divertimento. Impianto audio, schermi e luci sono nuovi di zecca, così come la zona ingresso ed i colori alle pareti. Non mancano immagini sorprendenti su alcuni dei muri... Uno dei motivi del duraturo successo del Circus è infatti che chi lo gestisce cura ogni dettaglio di questo spazio. Altrove non succede.

Venendo ai party, il giovedì il sound di Circus Beatclub - Brescia è decisamente internazionale: si alternano il sound elettronico ed ipnotico di Panorama e quello di Rehab, appuntamento dedicato all'universo urban con tanti protagonisti della scena europea. Per Panorama una volta al mese torna Albert Marzinotto, mentre per Rehab i resident d'eccezione sono JK, artista spesso al mixer con Guè (Club Dogo) e Maloney. Sono previsti poi tanti guest internazionali, che verranno annunciati nelle prossime settimane.

Ed eccoci al venerdì, che diventa Friday Fiesta, la serata che inaugura al Circus la nuova stagione venerdì 27 settembre '24 E' la risposta "al chiuso" al successo di Frio!, il party all'aperto più adulto di MOLO, che ha fatto divertire il pubblico universitario (e non solo) di Brescia per tutta l'estate. Dj resident in questo caso sono Dader, Gala e Mede, mentre sono già confermati diversi party in collaborazione con VidaLoca, format che fa scatenare l'Italia e tutto il Mediterraneo da tempo. Lo staff VidaLoca, con i suoi dj e le sue performer, come lo scorso anno, farà ballare Circus Beatclub nella prima parte della serata, per poi lasciare spazio agli artisti della Circus family.

Anche a gennaio 2025 il ritmo al  Circus beatclub – Brescia non si ferma. Anzi continua a proporre party d'eccellenza, come per tutto il 2024. In realtà lo staff del top club guidato da Antonio Gregori ha già comunicato tutto ciò che si ballerà dal 10 gennaio all'1 febbraio, per  ben 10 party da non perdere. 

Si inizia, ovviamente con evento scatenato. Venerdì 10 si balla con Friday Fiesta, mentre sabato 11 gennaio '25 per il party Crush, ecco il primo special guest. E' Il Rosso, un noto streamer di Twitch (dove è seguito da quasi 500.000 persone), che in poco tempo è riuscito a raggiungere traguardi significativi per la sua carriera.  Lo streamer è noto anche per ospitare durante le sue live vari rapper, tra cui, Boro Boro, Mambo Losco, Don Pero e tanti altri… Perché al Circus la musica e i dj contano moltissimo… ma conta pure il divertimento, in tutte le sue sfumature.

Annunciamo già anche gli appuntamenti della settimana successiva, che vanno in scena venerdì 17 e sabato 18 gennaio '25: la prima sera è previsto un Jungle Beats Theme Party tutto da vivere, mentre Crush, la sera successiva, è una student night tutta da vivere.

I party previsti, per tutta l'infinita stagione autunno 2024 - primavera 2025 sono oltre 100 e come è logico che sia non tutto viene svelato prima ancora che il locale apra di nuovo le sue porte. Circus sarà aperto tre sere a settimana, dal giovedì al sabato, con tre appuntamenti molto diversi tra loro… e come ogni anno è stato rinnovato in tanti dettagli fondamentali per uno spazio dedicato al divertimento. Impianto audio, schermi e luci sono nuovi di zecca, così come la zona ingresso ed i colori alle pareti. Non mancano immagini sorprendenti su alcuni dei muri… Uno dei motivi del duraturo successo del Circus è infatti che chi lo gestisce cura ogni dettaglio di questo spazio. Altrove non succede.

Venendo ai party, il giovedì il sound di Circus Beatclub - Brescia è decisamente internazionale: si alternano il sound elettronico ed ipnotico di Panorama e quello di Rehab, appuntamento dedicato all'universo urban con tanti protagonisti della scena europea. Per Panorama una volta al mese torna Albert Marzinotto, mentre per Rehab i resident d'eccezione sono JK, artista spesso al mixer con Guè (Club Dogo) e Maloney. Sono previsti poi tanti guest internazionali, che verranno annunciati nelle prossime settimane.

Ed eccoci al venerdì, che diventa Friday Fiesta, la serata che inaugura al Circus la nuova stagione venerdì 27 settembre '24 E' la risposta "al chiuso" al successo di Frio!, il party all'aperto più adulto di MOLO, che ha fatto divertire il pubblico universitario (e non solo) di Brescia per tutta l'estate. Dj resident in questo caso sono Dader, Gala e Mede, mentre sono già confermati diversi party in collaborazione con VidaLoca, format che fa scatenare l'Italia e tutto il Mediterraneo da tempo. Lo staff VidaLoca, con i suoi dj e le sue performer, come lo scorso anno, farà ballare Circus Beatclub nella prima parte della serata, per poi lasciare spazio agli artisti della Circus family.

Oshinobi Productionによる国内初のグラフィティドキュメント映像『Kill The City 0』のDVDリリースに併せたポップアップが新世界 Voyage Kidsのカルチャースペース matonari で開催中、初日はDVDを買うと普段はポルノ映画会場である日劇シネマでの上映会にも参加できるという事で行ってきた。この日はあいにくの土砂降りだったが私が着いた夕方頃には、若い人から私と同世代位まで色んな世代の人たちで会場は賑わっていた。グラフィティについてのアートの立ち位置は常に論争されていて、公に話題にはされにくかったりするのだろうけど、ファッションやストリートカルチャーとしての側面もあり時代の流れや、こうやって一定の世代にだけ固定されず様々な年齢の人たちにもクロスオーバーして響く所は一つのムーヴメントとしてとても大事な要素なのだと思う。グラフィティが重要な意味合いや役割を持っている事は歴史上でも証明されているし、街と共に進化するという事はやはりそれを作る人と共に変化している事を意味する。DVDを観ていくとグラフィティライター達は楽しそうに、まるで子供のいたずらのようなラフささえ感じさせるように街をカラフルに彩っていくのだけれど、当事者達の目線でしか視えないスリリングな場面もいっぱいあり色んな事を懸けて製作している事も伝わってくる。資料としてもとても貴重な映像だと感じます。DVDの上映は65分らしかったがとまる事のないスピード感で体感としては30分くらいだった。映像のバックに流れているのは、ダンシング義隆、『ENTER』等でDJを務めて自身もGraffiti Crewに所属しているDJ PANASONIC、QICKDUMP、DJ ZEEK、DJ YUTAKA、BORO、YOSHIMARL、福、と音楽好きにも楽しめる内容。古い劇場だったので実は機材トラブルもあったけど、会場のバイブスもとても熱く、誰一人帰ったりする人もいなかったのにも驚いた。コミュニティ自体がガッチリ固まっている印象で一人異質な存在だったと思うけど、すごくオープンマインドに作品や説明をしてくれて本当に楽しかった。買って帰ったZINEもかっこよくてシリーズで揃えたい。matonariでは 映像にリンクした街を模してグラフィティ作品が飾られてあり、実際に使用されていたと思われるスプレー缶や安全ベストなどもディスプレイされているので、新世界という地場の空気の臨場感と共に是非体験して欲しい。

The only graffiti documentary series video in Japan by Oshinobi Production, a brand new one of them "Kill The City 0" was being launched on DVD. The pop-up event is now being held at Matonari, a cultural space of the Voyage Kids in Shinsekai. I went there the first day, we could get a ticket as a freebie to see the screening at a theater, Nichigeki Gekijo, which is usually used as a porno theater if we bought the DVD then. And that was an intense experience that not everyone can do. Unfortunately, it was pouring rain that day, but by the time I arrived in the evening, the venue was bustling with people of all ages, from young people to those of my age. The position of graffiti art is always controversial, and it looks like to seem to be difficult to talk about it publicly, but it also has aspects such as fashion and street culture, and it is not only for a certain generation. I think that the Graffiti scene has a very important role as a movement that is not fixed and crosses over to people of various ages. Some studies of graffiti shown been proven historically that graffiti has important meanings and roles, and evolving with the city means changing with the people who make it. When you watch the DVD, the graffiti writers happily color the streets in a way that makes you feel as if they were playing a child's prank. However, you also can see there are a lot of real matters including thrilling scenes which only can see the people by only making them by themselves, and they are really dedicated to this. I feel that it is a very valuable video as a document. The DVD was supposed to run for 65 minutes, but it felt like it was about 30 minutes because of the unstoppable flow speed. Musicians within a play, are Dancing Yoshitaka, DJ PANASONIC, QICKDUMP, DJ ZEEK, DJ YUTAKA, BORO, YOSHIMARL, and Fuku, content that you can enjoy even for music lovers too. Since it was an old theater, there were some equipment problems and it took a long time to recover, but no one left until the end. The venue had full of hot vibes from the people in there, and It made me really surprised. I had the impression that the community itself was a solid one, and I was the only different existence for them, but they were very open mind to everyone, so it was really comfortable to see the works. The ZINE I bought and brought home is also cool and I want to collect it in a series. At Matonari, graffiti works are displayed to imitate the town linked to the image of films, and spray cans and safety vests that are thought to have been used are also displayed, so you can feel the realism along with the local atmosphere of Shinsekai. All by means, I want you to experience it.
