You know our beloved Steve Goes to Eddie to Check if He's Actually Bi trope? Usually post S2? What if the next step was Eddie refusing to play along bc he assumes its a trick or setup, so he says he's straight and acts offended and disgusted. Quotes everything that's been hurled his way to make it believable. And Steve is hurt by it, but he still needs to know this about himself, so he makes a more dangerous choice, and gets himself outed and kicked out a few weeks before graduation. Maybe a little beaten up for his troubles, and when Eddie sees him, his first thought is that Steve tried that game on someone else and got what he deserved. Then he hears the gossip, and refuses to believe it. It has to be bullshit, ironic payback for someone trying to setup a gay guy. Because there is no way someone vulnerable came to him, came out to him, thought that he was safe with him, and Eddie abandoned them.

Kinda a random rant of mine that leads nowhere. If you're interested in that, then be my guest, lol. I'd appreciate some feedback too!!(≧з≦)

So I've finally scrambled my thoughts while drawing corrupted PV, and I've finally caught onto a revelation!!

Please tell me I wasn't alone with being SO CONFUSED during the whole episode. Nothing made sense, and it was getting quite boring being in the dark the whole time.

But I was also focused on WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK SHADOW MILKS intentions are in the first place. Because it all seems so.. useless?? Shadow milk is powerful as fuck so why he didn't just warp reality and sneak off with the soul jam confused me heavily. Like I know he likes to have his fun and I don't doubt he did all that just for shit and giggles, before running off with the soul jam but it all seemed so.. well not worth it? PLUS Shadow Milk cookie didn't even take the soul jam from PV after he corrupted so..???

But now I've finally brought all the pieces together. Mostly. As well as a sleep deprived idiot can...

Shadow Milks words were all mostly full of deceit and lies, that much even I get - but he kept being extremely possessive (?) of Pure Vanilla, like the way he kept referring to PV as his marionette, his cookie, and as his second half (and probably more nicknames I forgot about). But still, every "nickname" contrasts one another in a way, which you'd expect from the beast of deceit, but still.

So this is where the whole key(-hole) imagery in beast yeast episode 7 comes in and ESPECIALLY in pure vanillas corrupted form.

A lot of people pointed out how a lot of key-hole imagery was shown in the trailer, and now that I've played through every stage, I kinda see it myself, too.

I don't know why, but Shadow Milks gacha animation makes PV kinda looks like a key to the soul jam , which is probably referring to something else? Perhaps the soul jam and PV being some kind of key might lead to the sealing ritual, or if we're going off on SM's convenience, then probably some kind of knowledge SM seeks? Perhaps witch's magic?

PV's corrupted form having a keyshape just proves it even more why Shadow milk cookie would go through the whole trouble of corrupting PV (wich wasn't AS hard as I'm making it out to be (PV is extremly strong willed but SM is extremely clever too, so..)). Like I said, I don't doubt he wouldn't do that just for the sake of it, but still the sheer possessiveness shadow milk had whenever he referred to pure vanilla(compared to beast yeast 1-2), plus the whole key-shape/key-hole imagery tells me there's more to it then what meets the eye.

Plus, it seems there was some kind of "knowledge" shadow milk cookie that wanted to show Pure Vanilla (end of ep.7 quest "Goodbye Fools") or well shadow milk cookie SHOWED Vanilla that knowledge. Whether that truth corrupted Pure Vanilla because he couldn't fathom it or he was corrupted so that he COULD understand that truth, is still unclear, wich is why I won't explore THAT any further (,,・д・).

Anyways end of rant. Perhaps my words have some truth to it but it hasn't even been a day since the update so I might change my direct look onto the episode in a few days or something. I'd like some of your thoughts on the episode too!! (I know I'm expecting a bit too much since Beast Yeast 7 has been out for like more than half a day but still ヽ(；▽；)ノ).

Maybe he kind of is in love with Crystal too, on account of the fact that he’s kind of in love with everyone, he just feels like with her he’s allowed to act on it.

But because his love is more intense for Edwin, because he knows him better and is generally closer to him, he’s more likely to end up with him eventually.

"Good to see you too," snapped Hero. Moving on instinct, he ducked Villain's swinging blow.

"Still a coward?" Villain always fought brutally, pulling no punches, and tonight was no different. He kicked Hero, sharp, in the ribs.

Hero inhaled a breath of fractured air and rolled out of Villain's reach. Hands in the gravel, he tugged at the warm glow in his chest. The concrete burned up beneath his touch as flames began to flicker up, up, up.

"Can't fight me without your stupid magic tricks?" said Villain, circling Hero, every movement agitated. His voice dripped with bitter sarcasm, eyes flashing.

Hero sighed, the weight of exhaustion settling into the back of his neck. Everything was bruised, sore, and aching. What he wouldn't give for a fucking break. "Jealous, much?" He pulled himself up, steadying his ground to face Villain's wine-dark gaze.

"I'm not jealous," laughed Villain. "If you didn't have those powers, you'd be dead, so I'm kinda grateful."

Fire played along Hero's wrists, running to the tips of his fingers and back. He flicked it out like a whip, and Villain jumped back.

There, that was a better distance. Even if Villain had no abilities, Hero remained wary.

"I just love having you around," said Villain, adjusting his brass knuckles. He wiped away a thin line of blood from his lip and grimaced.

Hero rolled his eyes. "I thought we were past this shit."

Villain flashed a smile. "Past what? The charm? The banter? The undeniable good looks?"

"Right. That's what the police wrote about you in their file, too."

Villain's guard lowered ever so slightly. Some of the old banter, the old friendship escaped through the gaps in his teeth. "And you would know that, how exactly? Miss me much?"

Hero winced. Maybe he shouldn't have dropped that kind of sensitive information. "Well, you know what they say..."

Then, he saw his chance. Villain's guard had completely fallen, and he was leaning against the wall with a very, very misplaced confidence.

And. Now.

Hero landed his first blow of the fight-- a scorching, closed-fist punch to Villain's abdomen with coiled strength. "Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. Is that how it goes?

Villain doubled over, scrambling back into the brick wall. The smell of singed skin was thick and strong. "Low--" he coughed, the sound broken, "Low move."

Hero crept close, pulling Villain's face up to his. There was a moment, frozen in time, when their eyes met. Both flashing with bitter emotion, barely hidden. Hero leaned in. "I will always win," he whispered. "You know that, right?"

Villain yanked his face out of Hero's grip. "Not this time."

Hero let the flames fall, crimson, over his arms and calloused hands. He flicked them, again, at Villain, brilliant against the night sky. "Oh, you can try. And I can't wait to make you eat shit tonight."

Villain's expression shifted. "Fine. You want to play dirty?" He lifted his hands. "Let's play."

Hero clenched his teeth, a retort forming, flames burning—until something shifted in his mind.

It hit him, all at once.

A slow, creeping pressure at the edges of his mind.

Hero sucked in a breath, panic flaring as his fingers twitched without his permission. A sickening pull, an invisible hook sinking deep into his thoughts. His fingers twitched involuntarily. The edges of his vision darkened.

The flames went out in a heartbeat, leaving his hands trembling.

Villain’s voice was cold. "You feel it, don’t you?"

Hero's breath hitched. His limbs wouldn’t move. He couldn’t move. Something other pushed against his mind, and he heard, rather than felt, his knees drop to the concrete.

A splintering crack, then silence.

Panic clawed up his throat.

"V-villain? You— you don’t have to—“ pleading.

Villain tilted his head. “Oh, but don’t I?” His fingers tightened their unseen grip and dug into Hero’s mind. "Be a good boy, and stay down."
