I know, I know - but read me out. Minato was appointed Yondaime for a number of reasons; his reputation, his prowess, his lack of direct clan affiliations and...well, timing. The village needed someone like Minato at the helm to ensure some semblance of stability after the war. Also, I have reason to believe that Minato's appointment was a way of taming Orochimaru's ambitions.

But that's a separate post. Fugaku was older, wiser, and a formidable shinobi in his own right. We don't see enough of him in the manga, but have you seen him in Itachi Shinden? He's mature and understands the underpinnings of the Uchiha's relationship with the village leadership - even understands why Itachi has to resort to genocide. Otherwise, do you honestly think he couldn't have stopped Itachi if he wanted to? The Uchiha clan head? A man who fought two wars?

Pft. No. Itachi was a genius, sure, but the Uchiha clan head isn't a weakling. All that said though, he would have never made Yondaime because he's an Uchiha and the village leadership discriminates.

P.s. I was tempted to say Shikaku but let's be honest, he's already the shadow-kage - Jonin commander and advisory board member. He doesn't need the title. Also he's not flashy enough.

shoutout to my cisgender any/all pronouns supervisor who i was carefully calling a mix of he/she/they/ze/xey for like a month before they casually dropped that xey aren’t trans. i still call her a mix of pronouns but i feel like i’m in some ursula k le guin experimental metaphor when i do. the fact that this cis guy doesn’t blink at being called she or ze or whatever is like getting slapped in the face with the left hand of darkness. while i’m doing spreadsheets.

Heya, since I've seen it circulated around a couple times since I came back to tumblr by those I follow, I just wanted to make a formal post about how one of my animations has been reuploaded here by someone else without my permission. I thought I could ignore it the first time, but seeing it pop up again kind of really sucks.

It's an older post (2020) so not much I can do about it really, but I ask whoever sees this and then sees this post circulating, to not interact with it anymore. I'd greatly appreciate it. Also please don't harass the user, I don't wish for any ill intent. I'd rather for the post to disappear and be water under the bridge.
