Cult Casper High schoolmates, but make it deaged Danny

Danny's entire class slowly figures out that Danny=Phantom but, with the exception of some outliers (Wes), they all agree to keep Danny's secret. One of the A-listers--Dash has definitely been hit by one of his parents before--brings up the idea of what could happen if Danny's parents find out and no one is there is cruel enough to put Danny through that.

Until one day, the Fentons shoot down Phantom and haul him back to their lab.

It only takes the class a few hours to mobilize, but in that time, Danny has already been vivisected like a frog and because of the damage, he retreats into his core, and comes out Ghost age, ei that's a toddler now.

That's their toddler now.

Obviously they have to escape Amity Park, because this is dcxdp and the GiW aren't happy about them "defending" a ghost, so they get the hell out of dodge. Gotham is the most obvious choice, Sam explains with a powerpoint, due to low cost of living, most careers not requiring ID and are willing to pay under the table, and high ectoplasm interference. To save money, they buy a run down building together and the whole class says under one roof.

Everyone likes baby Danny. Everyone wants to take care of him. Some of them are weird about it.

Or, the Bats investigate a new cult that popped up, only to find out that their object of worship is a toddler.

i’m obsessed with jane asher. for a woman in a 1960s to stand her ground with these dickhead guys despite their strange behavior is genuinely so admirable. and while i’m sure paul loved her he was so absorbed in himself and his own bullshit that he just screwed the poor girl over. i know that paul gets a bit neurotic and always needs safety nets in his life but he should have been so much better to jane. he always knew that he didn’t want to marry her. he just panicked when she came back home in 1967 and didn’t like the state of things, and justifiably so. regardless of my thoughts on john, paul, etc, i think that the way they weaponized the women in their lives and either viewed them as objects or parents is genuinely insane. but i’m glad that she never compromised her own life and desires for an asshole who was making false promises in the midst of being unable to figure his own life out. go jane!

Trying to explain how I think about Fifth Doctor era relationships like: Yeah Five and Tegan are a married couple who argue all the time, both before and after getting married, but they would also kill anyone who hurt the other while also about to get divorced. Nyssa is Five’s PhD student and he’s her weird professor but she’s also his adopted daughter and his co-worker too. Adric is Five’s adopted son, but Five also treats Adric like some random kid who’s just wandered into his house and started eating his food while Adric sees Five as his False Impostor Step-Dad who has Killed and Taken the Place of his Cool Real Father. Nyssa and Tegan are both Adric’s sisters. Nyssa and Tegan are also in love but are not married. Tegan and Turlough are catty best friends. Turlough and Five are fucking but they’ve also never had sex and never will. Kamelion thinks of Five and Turlough as family and is in love with Tegan. Five and Turlough think of Kamelion as their weird dog and Tegan actively Hates him and wishes He Would Die. All of their dynamics are also all entirely platonic. Hope this helps.
