SCRIPTURE:

He set us free through the Son and forgave our sins. ... God wanted to make the glorious riches of this secret plan known among the Gentiles, which is Christ living in you, the hope of glory. ~ Colossians 1:14, 27

OBSERVATION:

The glorious riches - of Christ living in me...

God's secret plan - 

He has set me free...

...forgive my sins...

...through His Son - Christ living in me...

The hope of glory - Christ living in me...

He died for me...

...so that He could live in me...

Christ...

Living...

In me...

Me!?!

APPLICATION:

Live "this secret plan" of freedom publicly...

Live hopeful of His glory...

Don't keep it a secret - make it known "among the Gentiles..."

PRAYER:

Freeing Father God - Please forgive my keeping Your secret... Thank You for that first Gentile who believed and passed Your hope of glory down to me all these generations later - May Your Holy Spirit show me how to better live in Your hope and forgiveness - In the Name of Your Son Jesus - Who lives in me - and for Your worshipful, praiseful, honor...

“Because of Christ, our brokenness is being made whole, and we can look forward to a glorious future.”

“In his letter to the Ephesian church, Paul wrote that God brought “all things together in Christ” (Eph. 1:10). This means that because of Jesus, we are being healed in ways we could never have accomplished on our own. His death and resurrection:

• Freed us from sin. We are indwelt by God’s Spirit and have His power to resist temptation and obey. 

• United us with our Savior. We live in Christ and He lives in us. He is with us always, wherever we go. 

• Made us family. God is our heavenly Father, and we are His sons and daughters. Our spiritual family extends all over the world. 

• Transferred us into the kingdom of light. The world is ruled by darkness, but anyone who calls Jesus “Savior” lives in the kingdom of light (Colossians 1:12-13). We are citizens of heaven. 

• Gave us an eternal inheritance. We’ve already inherited the promises of Scripture, but more awaits us in heaven (1 Peter 1:4).

• Initiated sanctification. To sanctify means “to make holy.” With our cooperation, the Spirit transforms us into Jesus’ likeness throughout our years on earth. 

When life wears you down, ponder all the ways God is actively healing you. He won’t give up on your redemption, even if you at times feel like giving up.” Amen! 🙌

I’ve sincerely been humbled. This past week has arose much conflict and released a ton of emotions. *sigh* I pray I’m walking toward a time of rest and peace. At the moment, I wish to recognize the Lord convicting me of both my pride and fear. I was beginning to fall into the trap of self-righteousness. It was my mother-in-law that lovingly, snapped me out of that one. Then not long after while I was taking a nap, I had a nightmare of one of my worst fears become reality. A fear that can ruin my marriage and family, but then Holy Spirit spoke Truth to me. If I continue to try to fix my problems and problems my loved ones under my own will and strength, this fear will most likely become my reality. BUT……if I choose to continue lay my cares and worries at God’s feet, and keep choosing to place my trust in Him; All my fears will disappear and will never come to pass. I ask God to help me never become complacent or comfortable in my selfishness in any form. While my soul dwells in this human body, it’s great limited and flawed ever seeking to follow it’s own will and not God. That’s the sinful nature of being human, but with Holy Spirit now dwelling inside me too I ‘m able to strive and overcome my rebellious desires that go against God. God is Love, he encompasses every single facet of the meaning of the word. And God loves you and me! That’s the gospel truth!!!!! 🥰
