Phew, I did not think I was gonna get this done in time c':

I really enjoyed making this pageset! I was tossing up doing a constellation type theme for Fade's story, but then I had a much better idea and,,, I love,,, cave art so much,,, Past humans making art of animals they actually saw is possibly my favourite thing ;v;

Also, I used a wild mixture of cave art from all over the place because I just wanted to experiment with different styles. Though Homotherium was present in all these areas at some time, so it's not impossible the artists saw them too! Note: none of the actual art I referenced had Homotherium depicted! I just used the artstyles and took liberties, so please don't use it to make up lies about late surviving Homotherium in Chauvet France lmao

Lowkey, would anyone be mad if I changed the style to be like the last page from now on? kidding, haha... Unless... Kindred of the Mammoth is on Comicfury as well!

I'm sure this must be old news to anyone but me, but I've just discovered the spriprints site and am extremely tickled to learn that for the low low price of Quite A Lot Of Money, I could have, for example, a jigsaw puzzle of Tom Crean and the puppies or Cherry on a mug or the Terra Nova cuddle pile on a cushion

My hydra experience with tourists this year was the worst. There's only one balcony in the school's annex where I have phone signal enough to use the internet, and i didn't even begin to count the amount of times tourists took pictures of me sitting there in my flipflops and my ratty t-shirt. Maybe they wanted to take a picture of the building, which would be fine, but they could ask the person clearly sitting there eating their noodles if it's okay. Or like say hi, instead of just stare. It made me feel so uncomfortable. Not to mention the people who saw students (it wasn't just me, that was everyone else's experience from what I learned) going in and out of the annex and had to ask what this building is and what we're doing and if they can come inside. If it was a museum or if it was something you could visit, it would have a sign outside.

I've been meaning to ask, what exactly is a Battle Method Turing Test, and what are you using the data for? Happy Chaos calls it a "psychophisical paradox," and I'm not entirely sure what that means, either

Well. It's just a side project at the moment... As you probably know, my clone, R♯, is leading it from Earth. All it details is collecting combat simulation data from individuals and adding them to a database.

From there, I can generate convincing combat simulation models capable of copying both the style and appearance of those whose data is entered into the database. That includes myself, of course.

All combat simulations are both unreal and real. They only exist within the mind, being simulations overlaid on reality through the connection between the eyes and the brain, so other people who aren't connected cannot see nor feel these simulations.

But that doesn't mean they can't hurt you.

I began this project as a means of honing self defense techniques. That's all.

head empty when it comes to putting ic words on the dash... but at the same time, agender/nonbinary yishai shepard is living in my mind rent-free i fear. thinking about this and its relation to yishai's intensely strong empathy for the geth and for edi: beings crafted as tools of labour and war (in terms of the geth) and intelligence, as tools of service to a master. things to whom autonomy was denied, their freedoms shackled, their enquiries towards their own identities — and their rights to simply be — seen as threats to be crushed underfoot.

there is a reason he rarely, rarely ever chooses the destroy ending, and a reason that he is so utterly crushed and devastated when he does. (and he is contrite until the geth and edi are brought fully back to functionality — however i plan to make that happen in my happy ending — and even after.)
