OR.... maybe.... people watch the most movies in their childhood when they don't have much to do other than sit in front of a tv and watch what's on disney channel or whatever... and then as people reach adulthood the percent of movie-watching among the general population tapers off.... so that the viewership of even a very popular adult movie will still be a much lower percentage of the general population than something everyone watched as a kid... and this isn't an issue of stoooopid baby tumblr users only watching kids shows because they're so DUMB but simply how demographics work... perhaps op could do with a bit more critical thinking... wait sorry i forgot that Critical Thinking exclusively means getting knee-jerk mad at people for being stupid baby posers based solely on vibes. my mistake

for the most part i don't have anything new to say about the situation with ppl accusing gazans of scams. it's terrible, it's deeply racist, and shows a lack of any thinking beyond a knee jerk 'this person is asking for money? must be a scam!'

and also. this ranks far, FAR below the above criticisms in terms of importance... but i see a lot of ppl doing a soft version of the above, where they handwring about 'gosh, i just worry so much about you guys throwing away your money :('

and it's like, what, you think we're all morons who don't even bother to do a quick search on tumblr or check any of the various sources out there for verification? almost every post i see where someone has received an ask about it, the op has attached a link to confirm that it's real.
