I did have help with some of the ideas in this au, so thank my lovely collaborator @queseresere for bits and pieces of it.

Stress:

- Owns a tattoo studio across from Iskall’s flower store.

- Part of the neighborhood across, I’m sure she’s joined the resistance against Red’s tyranny over the HOA

- She plays the table top game (d&d equivalent) Iskall DMs, called Vault Hunters. They’ve had two demon problems, firstly Etho, a regular player of course who keeps charming Iskall out of shopping money. Also Hels for a bit there…

- some of her tattoos; a stress monster, and an iskallium monster of course; green zinnias for friendship, nightshade blossoms, some classic roses, spiderwebs, some little angel wings, etc.

- no one fucks with her. (Well, no one but Iskall of course)

False:

- she came to town a year or two ago as a supernatural hunter/exorcist. Her attempts at bothering the mail demons was so thoroughly dismissed that she was baffled and quite charmed by them.

- Red King on the other hand? I mean, keep your friends close and your enemies closer… I wouldn’t say she’s actively trying to exorcise him anymore, especially with both of Ren’s significant others breathing down her neck, but she did start the Anti-Red King resistance in the Neighborhood and is doing her best to rally the troops and generally antagonize him. She still has a bromance with Ren though.

- she teaches kids martial arts as her main job right now. She’s still for higher if you have a ghost or a minor demonic problem… Convex should really see her about that…

- there’s so many ghosts in the river… why are there so many ghosts in the river…

Some of you may have noticed a number of my works being taken off of AO3 (Majestry to Magic, Familiar Hunter, and Seasons of Change to name a few). That's because I have pretty bad anxiety and I don't like leaving things up that may forever remain unfinished. While the Dog's Life server plays Session 2, SnifferMyFeet fights the offline Etho for control of his body... Scott and Lizzie recover from the shock of a wild caving adventure, Grian and Bdubs pay the Sushi Boys a visit, and Sniff and Jellie spend some quality time together.

"So I guess that's the story," Sniff says, pressing the last piece of gingerbread roof into place. He melds it tight with a flicker of his crafting ability. None of the houses in the ConVex storage room are decorated with sugarcane, frosting, or chocolate chips, but maybe that comes later. The agent simply wanders to the corner and pulls out more cookie pieces so it can work on the next rustic cabin in line. The fact that it's dark doesn't seem to be a problem. Sniff doesn't mind it either. "I don't know, Weird Grian Agent… The cuddles are nice and all, but let's be real… I don't have a chance with Scar or Etho. I mean, Etho called me 'Joel' when we were snuggled up… I don't know if we're coming back from that. Maybe I'm afraid to express my true feelings because I worry that he'll never see me for who I really am."

The agent beeps a few times, not even looking at him. Sniff rolls his eyes.

"Gee… Thanks for that vote of confidence. You don't have to be so snippy."

This time the agent turns full around, growling low in the back of its transmitters. Sniff watches idly, wondering how hard he'd have to punch the thing to knock it on its back. The agent bleeps once more, then turns away as though it scoffed.

"Yeah, all right… I just don't know where to go from here. I mean, look at me. Right now, I'm a charity case just getting by on the kindness Etho, Cub, and Scar have shown me. Oh, yeah- and Grian, I guess. Beef… I'm not in the system. I don't have my own flat. Maybe Pig will let me share, but he always said he lives in a really cramped studio. I haven't even seen him yet since I came to Between… and surely he would've asked around for me, right? I mean, he's usually come home at least once by now. But if I go looking for Pig, I might get answers to questions about his private life I really don't want to have. Like about whatever's going on between him and TwoMuchGrian. You look like you know Grian. D'you know if Pig and Two are married?"

The agent ignores him, kneeling down. It starts setting up the first wall on a cardboard foundation. Sniff runs his fingers through the back curls of his hair, sighing through his teeth.

"I guess deep down, what I really want is for everything to go back to the way it used to be. I want my husbands back, but I can't just say it to their faces… I mean, if they liked me, wouldn't they already be dating me? Err… Grian and Joel."

No response. Maybe a stifled beep. Only one.

"This is just a lot to take in. I mean, I probably shouldn't be worrying about it right now. I guess I should take my time to get used to Between and let the rest fall into place, but if there's any chance, I don't want to lose them, y'know? So it feels weird breaking up with them if it's not hopeless yet. Plus, I'm bored… I miss Etho and Scar. It used to be that I barely went anywhere without one of them hanging around me. When they were gone, I always knew they'd come back- I built our bases or whatever. But now they might never come back, and I'm probably about to get dumped twice back to back by two people I really like who've maybe kind of sort of been leading me on, and that's really gonna hurt…"

The agent starts work on the second gingerbread wall.

"And I already know that if Pig had to choose between spending time with me or all his cam account friends, I'd never win. I mean, I've never won him over in that regard. I guess he's got Two? I think that was implied. I'm pretty sure he only came home when all his friends were at work and he was off. And I guess I'm grateful, because he could've just left me on that server forever… but, like, he never mentioned unthreading to me as an option? What's up with that?"

And that's a hard pill to swallow (emphasis on the 'aha'). Sniff flops back against the doorframe, draping an arm across his eyes. It helps a little. It almost makes it silly, and then it doesn't sting so badly.

I mean, when Etho told me about unthreading, I jumped right up. Why didn't Pig ever…?

It would've been nice. If when Joel went under for surgery reasons, Etho knocked politely at the door of his and Pig's flat.

I guess if one of my lookalikes ever needs my code again, Etho will be back. Maybe someone should "accidentally" bump Joel or Grian off a cliff.

"Things seem pretty good in Between, and there are all these other servers out here. Pig can go have fun with his friends any time he wants. I don't know if he visited because he liked me? I think it was just duty, boredom, and pity. Like, geez… I'm not as interesting as a thousand worlds to explore. And we're not dating; Pig knew how I felt about my husbands, so he didn't make moves on me, I think. Or he's not interested, but I don't care about that as I like fighting him.

"Although, it is a bit messed up that he never told me they were off the market… Well, I guess I don't know if they're off the market, but you know what I mean. I really miss them, though. Scar's snuggles are the best, but Etho really makes you feel special when he's affectionate. I really liked their hugs. And our old bases. I loved The Relation ship… and the Red Velvet Keep. I actually do miss those pandas… not that I'd ever tell him that; he'd get such a smug look on his face. I miss chasing pillagers with Etho. And the carroting. The way he used to take me apart…"

He trails off, cradling his cheek against his knuckles. He never did carrot with Scar (Too scared; too stressed; reasons unclear), but he did carrot with Etho. A little. Mind your own blummin' business. He sniffs then, pathetically, which is miserable in the sense that it grounds him to his name (like a boot heel twisting him into the dirt).

He exhales. "I know breaking up's the right thing to do… because even if they want to date me, we'd be building that relationship on memories that only I have. Mine are wrong, apparently. I don't know what's up with that; Etho said I probably have roleplay memories without the context that it wasn't real, so my brain invented its own context, though that still leaves me with a dozen questions… My sneaking around the hub hasn't yet led me to some memory erasing business. I'm just not ready to get double dumped. They might not think I'm worth hanging out with anymore…"

They're experienced players. They don't want some oblivious newbie sniffing at their feet.

world building in the Dragonic Melodies

Okay so in the books I wrote the setting changes throughout the story.

First universe, Lil one’s universe

So this is a sort of more fantasy world, with many villages and kingdoms scattered around. The lands were once ruled by dragons until they were hunted to extinction, so then the land was ruled by humans. But then the human societies got mixed with many other dnd humanoid species (like elves and hybrids). The areas explored was Falkor’s village, The Hourglass Gardens, sly reference village, a saloon, a village run by dogs, school of magical students, forest, cave, then the village Falkor made, and lastly the Emerald dagger’s valley.

Second universe, the god’s realm

This universe is the connecting one. The center. It’s a simple floating island in a void, almost dreamlike in a sense. There’s a house for every god and goddess, but there’s a plaza with a table and thrones with godly symbols where they hold meetings. The gods don’t intervene with mortals, they stick to their domains. There’s a big cherry tree and a bridge over a lake going towards the plaza. Saya’s house is old and forgotten since she was trapped in the void millions of years ago. Yeelen’s house is gold and quartz, big and loud like his ego, it looks like a Greek temple. Then Joli’s house is a castle made of dark gray brick and highlighted with red banners displaying his godly symbol. Kanu’s house is similar to a hippy witch’s hut colored in only bright pink, it’s an eye soar and a fever dream. It has hearts all over. Sukaro’s house is a cabin decorated in yellows pinks and blues, her cabin looks cartoonishly cluttered with random things Sukaro keeps due to greed. Masikisi’s house is a beach house, it has blue and white stripes. The house is connected to an outdoor/indoor forge next to a beach. And lastly Mago’s house is a treehouse with a greenhouse connected to it. The tree house is full of food she grows in the greenhouse.

Third Universe, Tha Cat’s world

a briefly mentioned world in the books, but the world is the original world where Falkor was made. It is a Minecraft world with a lot of my and Falkor’s friend’s Minecraft builds. It’s Minecraft where the Minecraft characters are puppets with the memories of the player playing as them. They remember the player playing as their actual lives.

Fourth universe, Falcon’s universe

dark fantasy. It’s based off of my own headcannons of the Traffic Life Smp, and also me adapting it to be better used for my own story world. Falcon was a butcher and hunter for the society. The life series was called long life, basically the players actually got to live longer and make a town. Boogey man curse makes you kill in secret. Yellow names get the urge to kill green names, but not as strong as the Boogey or being a red name. After a few years of living in the long life game, it’s just Tasuma, Galasi, and Falcon. Galasi is a farmer and Tasuma has a bakery. The three of them had a food monopoly.

Fifth Universe, Kora Falls’ universe

It takes place in a city. The population is hybrids and humans with powers. There’s the school, museum, Symon’s Cafe, Toni’s casino, Toni’s office, Kora’s abandoned apartment building, ConVex laboratories, and some other locations. Most people are morally gray in this universe. There’s the heros, vigilantes, villains, and normal people. The hero’s work for the government, vigilantes don’t but they fight for what’s right too. Villains all have their own personal agenda, they’re legally classified as villains too. And then normal citizens are normal citizens.

Falkor’s thunder dies, she tries to get them back. She commits magic suicide to make them all come back because the death god told her to. She meets death god, who is named Saya. Saya brings three other Falkors. A villain (Kora Falls), a hunter (Falcon), and a builder (Tha Cat). Saya gets hungry and eats Falcon. Kora and og Falkor (lil one) kill Saya. Tha cat and Kora return to their dimensions whil Lil one becomes the new death god. The life god and husband of Saya, Yeelen, shows up and brings Lil one to god meetings. These meetings have Yeelen, Joli, Kanu, Sukaro, Maskisi, and now Lil one. Kora gets a target on her head in the meanwhile. And while Kora’s son got shot through the head, Lil one is falling for her own illusions. Joli is a widower, his god wife died to his hand now there’s no god of harvest.

I’ll add more when I make more. But this is the basic rundown. But Kora has some more backstory with ConVex laboratories (yes I know that’s Scar and Cub, I like the name and I stole it.) and Big blue Toni’s mafia.

for the purpose of changing the story structure I had to do some more research and here they are:

What did the Early Man Wear?

Answer: In the early period, the intellect of the early man was not developed. But still, the early man developed a sense of psych and wore whatever was present in the environmental space around him to cover his body. 

The early man used the following things as his piece of clothing –

Dresses were created by the Tree leaves and branches of the big trees.

Animal skin; the skin of the animal was left to dry out and later used as clothing for the early man.

it's been a long while since i really touched tumblr, mainly because I stopped being active on it, especially since the mobile app is unbearably slow for my phone. plus I just stopped really using social media other than deviantart. but i wanted to talk about spyro for a minute. feel free to read my rant lol.

i'm currently having the biggest brainrot for the legend of spyro at the moment and there have been talks about the fourth spyro game, and what it could potentially be. since i'm a tlos fan and have been for a pretty long while, i've always been vocal about a remake of the legend franchise. obviously, it was a far-off dream since Activision are meanies. but with xbox gaining control over them it leaves some wiggle room for the legends franchise to come back.

i mentioned this before in a post some years back, and I still stand by it to this day. if activision/xbox does bring back the legend of spyro, they should remove spyro's name and IP from the franchise as a whole.

what do I mean by this? i mean to remove the legends franchise out of spyro's IP and rebrand the franchise into its own, entirely new franchise.

the legend of spyro franchise is widely loved and adored by fans because of the characters, the story, and even the gameplay. but I think what helped create our niche community was the lore. the world of the legend series is vast, and mysterious, and fills you with questions you want answered. questions like who are spyro's parents? why did malefor turn evil? who were the dragon elders from malefor's time? was cynder really a wind dragon? what happened to spyro and cynder??? these questions are still left unanswered decades after the franchise finished, and the community has made headcanons to fill in the pieces. but while some of these questions can be answered through headcanons, others just don't seem to fit. like malefor for example is the big bad. the villain of the story and the darkness against spyro's light. he's the reason the world is nearly destroyed and almost causing dragonkind to go extinct. why don't we know anything about why he did the things he did? it's something that always bothers me to this day bc this guy is literally the evil god of this world and yet we know nothing about him.

but anyway as stated before the legend of spyro franchise should be its own thing; not attached to the spyro name and completely revitalized to modernize the legend as a whole. i feel like because spyro is involved in this franchise it not only causes little to no freedom but eventually left activision to leave it in the dust. and this franchise has potential, even without spyro attached to it.

replace spyro with a new character, or better yet, make it malefor and his rise to power and eventual banishment into convexity. why not make the purple dragon an essence of malefor that becomes sentient and has to stop his darker form. that could be interesting. you can even add in characters that weren't added in, like ignitus' squire, pyra! or even the lore that couldn't fit into it like the dragon knights and the elders. give more lore to the other races like the cheetahs and atlawas, maybe even remove the cheetahs too given hunter was added into the legend series too.

i remember someone referring to this franchise as "lord of the rings but with dragons" and it's... ngl it's true-

and it honestly works. and not only that but spyro isn't a character to be part of some darker and gritty universe. he's a goofy purple dragon who loves to run around and be silly. and with the reignited trilogy remastering the original classics it makes sense to revive that part of everyone's childhood. but being able to do what I explained above could allow so much more this franchise.

i know people will read this and won't like it or think i'm wrong. and that's fine! i understand that spyro is an important aspect in this franchise. it's named after him after all, and was a reboot to keep spyro alive. but i know that the community really wants a tlos game, a remake, or something. and it's kind of why i think this is the best route to go for if the legend of spyro does come back. that or we just have to do it ourselves.

TLDR: remove the legend of spyro franchise out of Spyro's IP and completely rebrand it into a new fresh franchise.

The Doll's breaths continued to pound against Maria's tie, gliding across the leather lapels resting along their sides and jingling the chain underneath it. After her fingertip and thumb caressed the convex surface of the gem, they released Maria's brooch, blowing it against her tie with a huff. The Doll's blubber expanded outward as her palm pressed into her chest, clutching her scarf and sliding its fabric between her fingertips.

"I… I suspected I would've been sculpted in the form of an existing individual. There have been hunters who have told me my features have reminded them of their families. They have informed me that I have made them reminisce about their mothers, particularly when I inquire about the state of their minds whenever they appear to suffer from an excessive bout of duress. Perhaps I was always too youthful to resemble his…"

As the Doll's fingers tapped themselves and stroked their tips against the ridges that were carved against their form, her eyes were lifted toward Maria's, peering at its shape underneath the dull shadow that was draped from the bottom of her tricorn.

"Oh. The matter of how my body has gathered an abundant amount of blubber is simple. It's true that I have only been able to obtain a portly body due to the nature of the dream I have resided in. Hunters have offered me meals to express their gratitude toward the constant affection I have expressed to them. They have even offered to allow me to entirely consume their bodies. 'It would be more favorable to have my body emulsified by a doll instead of the horrendous beasts that reside outside the dream.'

If you find those offers to be unnerving, people have requested to remain within my innards a lot more frequently than to allow their acid to corrode their bodies."

"To think the old man's devotion...or obsession, went so far as to lead him to create a doll in my image..."

Maria stands above the grave the hunter used to teleport into the Nightmare from, arms crossed as she leans against the nearby pillar, stance...relaxed. Thoughtful, but for once after an untold amount of time spent in the night of the Hunt, not guarded and ready to stab or shoot at whatever may come close. She gazes upon the Doll, a click of her tongue echoing through the Dream.

"...I don't know whether to be flattered or mildly disturbed, frankly speaking. You look...good, Doll. Not in a narcissistic way of me appreciating my own image, just...you look serene. It's a luxury few can afford in the Hunt, though...I suppose the Hunt is over, finally. She made sure of it. And yet, you remain...why?"

The Doll's gaze affixed itself to a patch of white flowers, their white, round petals careening toward the direction of the wind. A brown, flat "flapjack" continuously lowered over them with every breath that breezed past her nostrils, pulling her dress forward and ruffling her red, plain tie between the intricate laces of her collar on her bosom. Her fingers quietly ground each other as they flexed onto her hands before her head gently rose from the flowers and twirled toward… Her voice.

"Your image? Was I not granted a unique appearance of my ow…"

Her sight was then halted as a woman clad in a black coat with gold patterns lining the edges of their openings and adorned with a brown cape and a ruffle tie. The click that was uttered from her mouth buried underneath her raised collar attracted the Doll's eyes toward her face, obfuscated underneath the pointed tip of her tricorne.

"You may think of me in any way you desire. Indeed, the hunt has concluded following Gehrman's passing and an usurpation within the dream. The creature whom has exerted her influence from the moon has been vanquished by a hunter who miraculously possessed the blood of a Great One."

The Doll's boots began to stomp toward the woman, clunking against the stone steps situated upon the ground and stomach flapping onto her plump thighs as they scratched each other with each step that thudded into the haze above them.

"I remain to nurture the infant Great One that has appeared succeeding the hunter, fostering their ideation and nourishing its appetite with the echoes of the people who have transitioned and remain in the waking world. Although I have a question I wish to press upon you, perhaps it would be more preferable and courteous if I were to… Ah."

A final step rose into the mist, vanishing as it slipped between the molecules within it and thrusting the Doll's rolls against the slim woman's coat. Multiple breaths pooled it around her sides with their tissue while her legs were enshrouded behind a dark, brown curtain. The Doll lifted a hand toward the woman's brooch, its cyan surface reflecting the light of a lantern onto her eyes and her fingertips gliding across the stubs surrounding it.

"This gem… It's…"

The Doll's fingers plucked her brooch off of her chest, pulling it toward Maria's and caressing both of the gemstones with the cushioning surrounding her fingers.

"How do you possess my brooch? Its shape, texture, the structure of the frame, it all precisely… 'The old man's devotion.' Has he… A--Ahh… Am I… A facsimile of your person?"
