Due to a strange combination of going back and forth between Daredevil and Moon Knight and the Kane Chronicles, this weird baby thought was birthed in my mind:

Matt finds out he has a teenage daughter (the reader)—Surprise! I’m thinking college or maybe senior year of high school one-night-stand/turned-unexpected-baby. A new kid/parent an adjustment in and of itself, but to complicate the matter, said teenager is the avatar of one of the Egyptian gods. I’d go for Ma’at (the personification of truth and justice), Osiris (god of the dead but I think he was taken already), or Anubis (as the guardian of the dead), or Thoth (god of knowledge and writing) as the deity. I feel like any of these would be a nice mesh to the lawyer-by-day-vigilante-by-night gig of Matt’s

Cue, in no particular order:

Finding out each other’s alter egos while they’re fighting the same baddies

Foggy and the Moon Boys having a “who is the better uncle” competition

Rewatching Daredevil s3 and ohmygod it's so good??? Literally sitting here in suspense screaming at all the plot twists and developments. What excellent writing, every thread, every character beat coming together seamlessly. The fight scenes! Bullseye was such a menacing addition and I loved how they showed his powers. Karen is such a compelling character, loved how they delved into her backstory (also the Karedevil scenes killed me). Ray Nadeem, probably the MVP of the whole season. Excellent excellent acting and writing. But most of all, what gets me is the glimpse of Nelson Murdock & Page at the end, the three of them working together, teaming up to take down Fisk, it all fits so well.

You know, this is why Daredevil Born Again isn't hitting me the same way. Killing off Foggy and sending away Karen in the first few minutes was the biggest mistake, and the new side characters and plot lines just don't work. I'm sad we'll never get Nelson Murdock & Page again, and it's frustrating that Matt and Fisk's final showdown ("I BEAT YOU") is kind of rendered meaningless. I'll still keep watching because I love Daredevil and Charlie Cox but season 3 is probably my favourite thing in all of MCU rn so it's going to be hard to top.
