How do you install LED light strips in a car?
Installing interior LED light strips requires a safe, legal, and aesthetically pleasing process. Below is a professional, step-by-step guide covering selection, wiring, installation, and legal considerations:
⚠️ Preliminary Preparation (Critical!)
Check local regulations (to avoid violations):
North America: Red/blue lights are prohibited (can easily be confused with police vehicles), and the driver's and passenger's footwell lights must be ≤ 15 lumens.
EU: ECE R48 stipulates that lights must not interfere with driving (instrument panel/steering wheel lights are prohibited).
General Rules: Flashing/marquee lights are prohibited while driving; there are no restrictions when parked.

Step 1: Planning the Layout
