It was a crystalline thing, not recognizable as something made on Earth. Since it wasn’t. “Are we still talking about this? I’m fine,” said Suletta. She was sitting in the driver’s seat of her car, blowing softly on a cup ramen that she had prepared in a convenience store. It would take at least 20 minutes for her sister to reply. That’s the time delay, when you’re sending messages between Earth and Mercury, where Eri lived among glittering crystal spires in the hidden Mercury kingdom. In the time it took for Eri to reply, Suletta finished her breakfast and tapped into the DRVR unofficial forum. It was a place for the drivers who used the app to talk about the stuff that the app’s corporate owners didn’t like to see spoken of in public. There was nobody behind the app itself, but apparently they had a whole team sweeping social media to make sure no one was saying anything unflattering about being a ‘vehicle associate,’ which was their word for ‘employee’ only they couldn’t use the e-word because there were actual laws for employee protection that DRVR did not follow. “You can’t just bum around the city looking for bad things to happen so you can stop them,” Eri said. “Maybe it’s not happening for real when you use your second sight, but it’s still happening in your mind! You’re still experiencing it. It stresses you out. You need, like, human connection. And don’t say you’re mercurian, I will slap you across space. Just gonna talk about my ocs in Danganronpa since I has been stricken by an obsession again.

A lot of words, if you're not interested, just don't read. lol

I have a lot of ocs for Ronpa actually. And I really mean the word "a lot" when I say it. I was obsessing over it so fucking intensely two years ago and when I obsess over things where I have opportunity to create characters I do.

I joined fandom at the time where fan killing games were becoming more and more popular. Like a lot of projects were announced back in the day that were really promising. And I was hyped too! I actually made fanart for one of them. hzhjiojzgj

And this activity is literally one of the things that makes fandom live and of fucking course I'm gonna at least fantasise about making my own.

And I fucking did like six times. (kinda)

Well, technically three of them were the ones I made with my friends. But they fall nicely in my storyline aligning with my idea I had.

I also did my first one ever with my closest friend. It was very bad, but at least it was fun. I don't like my first one for many reasons. I can dislike any of my own fanronpas for many reasons. Just not my characters.

I don't know what it is about me creating a character, but I like bond with them while I do it. They immediately become very personal and beloved. I may not remember their names, but their personality and story I had for them? Never forget.

Like from time to time I look at my characters and fall in love again. I want to give them their story they deserve.

Gotta say right now I love two of my fanronpas. Sadly I fucking forgot the name of the second one. But it's probably doesn't really matter because I plan on rewriting big plot for it. This one is actually feels so alive to me because of the characters. The cast I made for it? MAN, they are really just live their own lives. Like as much as I love my cast in DRVR (the other one), this guys naturally flow with mini conflicts and stuff, like interactions they have don't feel forced.

I'm not dissing DRVR though, I love them with all my soul. AND I love the overall plot I made for it. It has something that is really important to me, like the over all theme I got going on there. And Mastermind's motive is kinda like my own hyperbolised feelings. Also the way motives play out in this are very thematic and thought through as well.

Anyway, I just love my characters, man.
