the melancholy of growing up is hitting me all at once. the stress over pre boards, practicals, entrance and marks, the joy over an upcoming farewell. stressing out over numericals is interrupted by thoughts of what saree i would like to wear. and how probably i'd be so sad on that day and I might end up crying so i won't put any kajal under my eyes. it's not even a type of stress that I hate exactly because the next thing to stress about is just which college to go to and well that seems a lot more overwhelming than studying amines. and then i'm thinking about what will happen to science wale commerce wale, the lil dining table we end up making during lunch breaks, the gossip, the crushes, the chatter of children in the ground, begging for games lesson to the maths teacher, constantly belittling our school but it's the same school we're going to miss. after what? after all this will be over. I almost can't comprehend it.

CBSE Compartment (Supplementary) Exams 2024: Key Information for Class 10 and 12 Students

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the datesheet for the compartment (supplementary) exams for Class 10 and 12 students who are unhappy with their scores in the main exams held earlier this year. The compartment exams will be conducted from July 15th to July 22nd, 2024.

Who can appear for the compartment (supplementary) exams?

Class 10: Students who failed in one or two subjects and passed all others are eligible. Students who passed but want to improve their scores in up to two subjects can also appear (improvement of performance category).

Class 12: Students who passed the main exams but want to improve their score in one subject are eligible (improvement of performance category). Passed students who failed in only one subject can also appear in the compartment exam to pass.

Important Dates and Details

Exam Dates: July 15th to July 22nd, 2024

Number of Students Appearing: 1,32,337 (Class 10) & 1,22,170 (Class 12)

Exam Timings

Most Class 10 exams: 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM

Class 10 Computer Applications & IT: July 22nd, 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Class 12 (all subjects except listed below): July 15th, 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM

Class 12 (Hindustani Music, Painting, Dance subjects, Commercial Art, Yoga, AI): July 15th, 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Additional Points

The syllabus for the compartment exam is the same as the main exams held in March and April 2024.

Schools need to submit the List of Candidates (LOC) through the Exam Sangam link for students to participate in the exam.

Students will get 15 minutes of reading time before the exam begins, similar to the regular CBSE board exams.

Results

The CBSE board has not yet announced the date for the declaration of the compartment exam results. However, based on past trends, the results can be expected by the end of July 2024.

Well, the last few months have been hectic. Classes, clinical rotations, practicals, tests, model making assignment and some other assignments. Moreover, our exam datesheet was out. We have our pre finals from 14th July and finals from 14th August. We are getting gaps between exams in finals but pre finals is back to back, literally everyday. I was focused on completing the syllabus once and got done with journals and logbook shits. I somehow was able to touch maximum topics of all the three subjects till yesterday and I have started revision from today. I aim to thoroughly revise once, rapid review twice before pre finals and rapid review and solve previous year questions before finals. And whatever topic is left, I'm going to study while revising.

I'll probably disappear again from here till my finals, lol

I went home twice because it was getting too much here 😞 Had good food, painted, listen to music and slept. Ah breakssss.

Also, my favourite boy band is back and life is worth living again.
