not to be insane on main but: I wish there was more discussion/understanding/whatever around like. aroallos (like me!) who want the sex/physical affection to be a PART of the friendship. like fwb but the benefits are baked into the friendship. part of this friendship is we make out just like how trading fanfic recs is a part of it. As a v tired medical student, I am so sorry for that bullshit. How in the CUCK do you tell someone they have soft tissue tumor and not (at the very least) have them do an MRI before skipping to a biopsy are you even joking (operating right next to the clot doesnt worry me as much as the extremely invasive procedure done without one single unit of follow up exam, absolute clownery)

Right? I had an ekg and a CT scan done then he did a pelvic exam (no medical instruments, no ultrasound, just hands, ugh) which hurt like fucking hell because I had a giant blood clot right there, and I have an insane pain tolerance so if I’m squirming in pain and yelling it’s bad. That’s all he needed to diagnose stage four cancer apparently.

The upstairs doctor (dunno the technical term, the one who misdiagnosed me was an ER doc) definitely gave me the vibe he had doubts about his colleague but wasn’t going to badmouth him in front of me. Thank goodness he ordered the pelvic ultrasound. I don’t even fully remember how I was told it wasn’t cancer but I swear they did it by handing me the breakfast menu because I wasn’t going under the knife and thus could eat finally.

(Thankfully I did get an mri, 2 days after the “cancer” diagnosis to better see the blood clot. I kept falling asleep and they kept having to wake me back up because I twitch if I’m sleeping on my back lol)

ive been thinking lately about if i didn't watch the jaiden animations video (who else had their awakening with that lmao) when i would have put together that something was not right.

i have had several friends where i have genuinely considered if it was a crush and i wonder if i had a little less information about myself, i might have taken it at face value and called it a crush even though with just a little further thought about it i would have very quickly realised, no its not a crush i just havent made any new friends in a while lmao

yeah i've made a few friends this academic year and a couple times I had to stop myself before I convinced myself I had a crush
