Art For Sale is my newest series of art pieces that I am giving away.

This project lives at the intersection of irony and desperation, a place where tragic comedy lives- "Art For Sale" that I'm giving away.

These pieces are new and old works of mine with "Art For Sale" scrawled across them to underline and highlight the desire or plight of all artists trying to create something that the right person will deem "valuable," while also serving as a visual reference to the Internet aestheic of watermarked, stolen images, images seen in memes and videos. This is meant to be a reminder to viewers of where all really important and valuable art ends up no matter how much money someone paid for it... in a meme or video or on a phone wallpaper... unpaid for.

To further heighten the irony and desperation, many of the pieces have notes on the back imploring payment, while explaining how paying for the free art will heighten the irony and increase the provenance of the piece.

If you want one of these pieces, you just have to ask and come pick it up. They are completely free "Art For Sale."

Title: Re:vealed

Theme: How art reveals the desires, emotions, vulnerabilities and personality of an individual.

My piece delves into the different stages of an artist's life (showcasing the development of both their interests and character via the evolution of their artistic expression) as well as the varying emotions and secrets caught in external environments. The theme of this chapbook revolves around displaying hidden motifs.

The title “Re:velead” stands as a play on words. When sounded out, “revealed” is symbolic of the truth behind an individual’s personality being brought out to the public. The separation of “veal” translates to the inner meat -the vulnerabilities of oneself- being shown off.

Art displays the concealed. Art unveils the hidden.

In this work, my writing will be the complete print-out of my thoughts. The never-ending rants, the long run-on sentences and the continuous references to pop culture I find hilarious. They are me and my expression; inner meat ripped out and open for you to taste, take apart, study and understand. Bon Appetit to my re:vealed artistry.
