Also it's just amazing that me and others are being denied life-saving medical treatments because of for-profit health insurance while the rich are given more means to get disgustingly richer by our idiot government

Even though I don't fully agree with blackpill, I still see its merit and points — just like radical feminism at its essence. Having said that, treating a group of people like they're not human beings should ever be something worth considering

They took his patience under their thoughtlessness for granted; they didn't seem aware that he had feelings to hurt or interests to injure, and some of them talked together as freely in his presence as if he wasn't there.
L. P. Hartley, from The Hireling

i don't like being aromantic sometimes. Everyone around me is talking about going on dates, or this lovey dovey poem they found, or their crushes, and I don't know how that feels. And I don't mind not feeling those things until the people around me starts talking about it.
And then suddenly I feel like I'm not human. Or not human enough. But I am. But when people talk about romance, I can't understand. I hate that. I don't have something that so many people understand. I don't know how things are supposed to work. So it feels like something is wrong.
Add the whole bit with people saying "Romantic love is part of human nature", and what do you get. People who don't feel human because they don't feel romance.

This Is What a Digital Coup Looks Like | Carole Cadwalladr | TED
“We are watching the collapse of the international order in real time, and this is just the start,” says investigative journalist Carole Cadwalladr. In a searing talk, she details a fast-moving technological coup and the rise of the “broligarchy”: an unprecedentedly powerful class of tech executives (like Elon Musk) who are complicit in dismantling democracy and enabling authoritarian control across the world. She shares a guide on how to digitally disobey in this age of runaway corporate power, data harvesting and mass surveillance — and reminds you that you have more power than you think.

He did not look long at her face. He looked at her body. She wondered fleetingly if it was shyness or avoidance. She looked often at his face, thrilled by the different angles, curious of what she might catch in his eye.

I become nervous when Nouran doesn't answer for a while. Worrying about her tent being bombed is a reality.
Some day's we don't talk because I'm dealing with a chronic illness, but when she reaches out for help, I try. In her words "don't give up."
No stranger has ever become such a significant piece of me because I never had to talk to a stranger who was dealing with genocide until 2025.
People who are not in Palestine, we must bear witness to these families. They are being erased. Hold up their pictures, keep their pictures in your pockets. Think about how you would feel if you lost 48 family members in a day.
Think of suffering in a wasteland with bombs going off constantly, people starving, drones monitoring you and speaking to you, animals turning on humans, soldiers sniping children right in front of your eyes, cooking flour with blood and sand, no clean water, a bag of flour cost up to 200 dollars and you're lucky to find it.
Gaza is the underworld on Earth. If you think "well it doesn't affect me." Is there anything to say to you? It's incredibly short sighted and people who don't feel sympathy want it for themselves.
When we see there's not always a villain, but just ordinary people, it shines a light on our species that many shy away from.
There are people who pride themselves on giving back to their community in America, but do not see Palestinians as humans.
Colonizers and genocidal are everyday people. They rescue animals, they start fundraisers, they will petition for human rights and give others a helping hand. They are ok with you as long as you follow their arbitrary rules and exist within their boundaries.
As a disabled person I've known this, but currently it's done publicly and without shame.

Author: Autobot2001 Genre: Fanfiction Fandom: Transformers Rating: T Warning: Dehumanizing Pairing: none Description: While dealing with a migraine, Jamie deals with a soldier dehumanizing her.
Day 22; @chaos-company's angstpril: alt 10; never again @whumprilwhumpril: dehumanization @aprilisthecruelestmonth: Migraine, "don't speak."
Ao3 or under the cut
Jamie walks down the hall, heading to her room in the N.E.S.T. base. As she walks down the hall, she's suddenly shoved into the wall. "Don't speak, weakling," a female soldier says. "How are you allowed here? You're weak. You need Autobot babysitters. You're not a soldier." Someone grabs the female soldier away from Jamie. "I am tired of you assholes bullying her and Lily!" Sunstreaker yells. The female looks at him, terrified. "If I catch you dehumanizing her again, or Lily, I will make you regret it. Now, get lost!" The soldier runs down the hall. "Never again will she bother you," Sunstreaker promises. Sunstreaker notices how unwell Jamie looks. She tells him that she has a migraine. He takes Jamie to her room.
Sunstreaker has Jamie lie on the bed. He gets pain reliever for her to take. He watches Jamie struggle to get comfortable while napping with a migraine. He sits on the bed, rubbing her back until she falls asleep. While Jamie sleeps, Sunstreaker goes to inform William Lennox and Optimus Prime of the incident.
