Cadillac Coupe-de-Ville by Raymond Loewy, 1959. Loewy’s 1959 one-off Coupe de Ville was his own personal car from 1959 to 1970. It was modified by coach builders Pichon-Parat of Sens, France and was revealed for the first time at the 1959 Paris Auto Show. The restored car sold at auction in 2010 for $161,700.00

Cadillac Eldorodo Concept, 1999. A GM show car from the Los Angeles Auto Show was sold recently on Bring A Trailer. Based on an Eldorado Touring Coupe the design was done within General Motors and customisation carried out by California Street Rods’ Chuck Lombardo. The car is finished in Ignite Orange, and body modifications include a chopped roof, raked windshield, shaved trim and turn signals, slit-style headlamps and extended rear wheel skirts. It sold for $55,000 on 4/16/25
