Who is Pom Pom:

Pom Pom was originally going to be the mascot character to the arcade game 'Pom Pom Panic'. During the development of Pom Pom, her code as a protagonist became so well advanced she became conscious early on and self aware as she saw her creators develop and modify her game. One day however, the company funding the creation of Pom Pom Panic had second thoughts on the concept as they didn't see the design at first and claimed every single part of it was too 'bizarre' to go on. Her game was cancelled, and her arcade cabinet started to corrode and somehow adapt viruses- somehow raining all the time now and corroding most living/animated elements except herself. This drove her mad, having to suffer for other's mistakes. Resentful on promises being taken back, Pom Pom decided to break from her world and set the record 'straight' by applying the same logic to other mascots Pom Pom deems 'more bizarre' than her (she has bad judgement skills) and thus is making herself the only living mascot players can choose from.
