My Digimon ships and their Canon heights

My favorite digimon ship is Ken Ichijouji and Kouichi Kimura

Especially when (in my fics) they're being evil and gay

When the Kaiser is leading a charge against the digidestined and he doesn't notice someone snuck up behind him and he turns to defend himself

But Kouichi, who hides with Wormmon in the shadows, waiting to defend, has already digivolved and locked the opponent in combat

And afterwords, they settle into a couch or bed and Ken fusses over a wound Kouichi got defending him and Wormmon watches them and smiles because at the very least, his Ken-chan has one friend

Even if Ken can't wrap his mind around digimon being real

Even if Kouichi doesn't realize Ken thinks it's all a game

In this moment, they are happy

And that's what matters

Do you ever think of that one Digimon pairing that’s really popular but for some reason you just can’t vibe with it at all? There are a few ships that come to mind for me honestly that are quite popular but it’s hard to find a reason to vibe with them (not sure if anyone is feeling a similar way)

I mixed digimon and lmk in this pic. Wukong and Macaque just remind me so much of Tai and Matt. Those two bicker so much but behind all of that they still care deeply for one another.

Ehh. I don't feel Digimon ships these days, but I remember I shipped Taisora and I was disappointed in the Adventure 02 ending, but I quickly got over it. I also shipped Tai/Matt, Joe/Mimi, Ryo/Rika, Takuya/Kouji, Kouji/Zoe, Yuujin/Haru and Rei/Haru. The only ship I give a shit about these days is Taiki/Tagiru. Yeah. Those are my Digi-App-shipping thoughts I guess.

I pick Takato/Jianliang here. Reasons: they have more chemistry and relatively "free" from unnecessary conflicts against each other, which was kinda uncommon with Digimon goggle boys and lonewolf pairs. And believe me, both characters are surprisingly similar beneath their different demeanors.

Daisuke/Takeru (not listed here) is the next. The combination of newcomer and veteran is something worth exploring. And yes, Daisuke and Takeru are good friends (despite many fans insists they are not getting along together, mainly because of the excessive changes in American English dub version).

This is just a selection of potential mlm ships in the Digimon universe of course!
