To celebrate the Year of the Dragon, I decided to do a little pic and Blair was the ideal choice (seeing how she's a Dragonewt), but it seemed a little empty, so I made two other Dragonewt girls alongside her to also be hypnotized for the occasion...much to Cherry's dismay (he wanted to join in too...) We have:

Opal, on the left! A gemstone monster, one of the gossips information gatherers, because they just love hearing everything going on

Shade, a shadow monster who helps to protect Nura(?)

Nura (name possibly subject to change?), a shy moth monster who does the actual writing and publishing, and she's just happy to spend time with her friends

A still unnamed dragonewt, also an 'information gatherer', part of Gabiru's squad. They find his antics endearing... mostly

So question I wanna make the Homunculus a race (Of Artificial Human) I'm trying to think of traits to give them to stand out compared to other races.

What I've thought of...

Bald

or Their hair color be split in half from left to right?

Heterochromia

Lines running across their bodies

Very little color to their skin making them almost black and white in tones?

A Magic circle randomly placed on their bodies that act as a weak point (Or where to control them)

Maybe some can have parts grafted unto them from other race.

these are what I've come up with so far but I am open to suggestions, though their is no rush since my next race is Dragonewts

My favorite non-mammalian monsters are the Lizardmen, Dragonewts, and Lamias from Monster Mesume. Like, that anime had so much fan service, but also really cool worldbuilding and lore.
