i see a lot of people talk about the negative sides to being a fictive, and while those are all completely real and valid, I wanted to talk about some of the positive sides as well!!! (art by @/alix426)

for example, positive pseudo memories. sure, pseudo memories hurt sometimes. but remembering the good times, the times with your friends, your family, where you enjoyed yourself ... even if the memories don't stand true to current events, it can be really uplifting during hard times.

or, meeting source mates! now, we all know by now that alters aren't their source, and shouldn't be treated as such. but meeting source mates, getting to know them, their interests, their likes, their dislikes, discussing your different memories and overall just having fun together ... it's so freeing!! it's such a good experience!! :))

these are just a few of the things that I personally really enjoy about being a fictive. I more than encourage others to share their experiences as well!!! :D
