#Dwight L. Allen

Dwight L. Allen, 82, of Findlay, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Fox Run Manor.

He was born Jan. 21, 1941, in Springfield, Illinois, the son of Reverend Casper and Leona (Fish) Allen. He married Ruth M. Harney on Dec. 21, 1968, and she survives in Findlay.

Dwight is also survived by his son, Titus David Allen of Findlay; daughters, Nicole Inman of Findlay and Michelle Allen of Findlay; sister, Lois Armstrong of Rockford, Illinois; and grandchildren, Anthony Inman, Michelle Inman, Faith Allen, and Cade Allen.

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Roger Allen.

Dwight achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bob Jones University, Master of Divinity from San Francisco Baptist Seminary, and Doctor of Ministry from the International Baptist College in Tempe, Arizona. He served as a youth pastor in Normal, Illinois; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; California; Chicago, Illinois; and San Jose, California. He served as a pastor in Camino, California; La Salle, Illinois; Joliet, Illinois; Idaho Falls, Idaho; Brainerd, Minnesota; and Calvary Baptist Church in Findlay. He served as Dean of Men at Pillsbury College, Owatonna, Minnesota, and was also a bird dog scout for Chicago Cubs.

Dwight was also active in radio throughout his career, hosting radio ministries in Joliet, Illinois; Brainerd, Minnesota; and Findlay. He was the host of "Racing World" on WFIN, as well as "A Second Look at Sports" and "A Sixty Second Look at Sports," on WKXA.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2023, and 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2023, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, 205 West Sandusky Street, Findlay. Dwight's funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Denny Coates and Rev. Alan Carson officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay.

MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD

I spoke to the President early this week about the question of whether work should go forward on the successor plane to the U-2. After considering the matter, he said he was inclined to think that it should go forward, on low priority, as a high performance reconnaissance plane for the Air Force in time of war. I suggested it might be useful for Mr. Allen Dulles, Mr. Gates and Mr. Stans to get together to consider the matter, and he agreed. He said he did not think the project should now be pushed at top priority. In fact, they might come to the conclusion that it would be best to get out of it if we could. Alternatively, they may feel that we have so much invested in it that we should capitalize on this through carrying it forward.

I called Mr. Allen Dulles today, and spoke to him in the sense of the above. He said he had been thinking about the matter himself, and agreed to meet with Mr. Gates and Mr. Stans to shape up a view on the matter, and specifically to consider whether the project is worth continuing.

IT HAS BEEN about a year now since my involvement with the Dozier School For Boys began taking over my world. Kicking off the whirlwind was my need to get my hands on the school’s student ledgers. I won’t rehash the entire adventure but what I will say is that it took many frustrating nights online, several emails to the Archivist, the potential of an $600+ bill to get digital copies & finally an 8 hour round trip before I’d actually have what I wanted…Well at least a quarter of what I wanted!

  HAVING ABSOLUTELY NO clue what I was looking for, I spent the next several weeks trying to organize what I had. Almost immediately number of very distinct patterns began jumping out at me. The same sentencing judges over & over again, the SAME sentence length OR lack there of & a crap load of blank spaces; Specifically under the “WHEN/HOW RELEASED” columns. One would expect that any institution handling children would be required to keep detailed & accurate records of ALL of its charges, especially when it comes to their last known whereabouts BUT that would make too much sense, now wouldn’t it…

        THE INFO THAT I had gotten was only from the latest volume of the ledgers & didn’t even make a dent in the number of boys that had been shoved through the doors to be reformed. I knew there were hundreds OR even thousands of names in those books. I maybe had a few hundred at the most. By now, I had gotten used to what I like to call the “Hurry Up & Stop” method of researching. Basically I’d need specific info, finally get said info ONLY to start looking it over & promptly figure out that I needed additional material OR even worse, I’d need something entirely different altogether. In this case, I had just assumed that I’d eventually be making another trip to the Archives; That is until I ended up becoming involved with Bob Straley & taking over his website…And right there on one of the site pages was a link to the detailed, handwritten notes that WHB Mr. Andrew Puel had spent hours putting together.

      NOT IT!!

WHEN I SAW that link, I was beyond thrilled! I was finally going to have something reliable to validate what I had come up with! I had spoken with Andrew at Bob Straley’s memorial service & knew that any research he had done would be the best & most accurate info that I could possibly get. When the page loaded, it definitely did NOT show what I had been hoping for; In all actuality, it showed nothing but this:

    ODDLY THE INFO was missing! I started clicking on some of the other older links on the website & sure enough, there were quite a few that led to nowhere. I don’t know why it gone OR where it went, only that it’s not there. I tried not to get to aggravated, thinking that there had to be a hard copy among the thousands of documents that I have. I spent the next several weeks going through EVERY page, folder, digital file, etc. & found nothing. Bob kept everything, so to say I was puzzled that he wouldn’t have a copy of something so important was a huge understatement. I did another look through, literally taking out every piece of paper, one by one; Still nothing.

  Well Damn….

    AN EVENING IN GAINESVILLE

ON A FRIDAY in late February, I made the 3 hour trip to Gaineville. With me was a small black bag filled with what I believed to be the most important material related to the Arthur G Dozier School for Boys. I pulled up to a beautiful home, tucked back in a quiet sub division that was surrounded by forest. Standing outside was a familiar face, Mr. Bryant Middleton. The “Whitehouse Boy” greeted me with a smile & a brief hug before inviting me inside to meet his wife. Both graciously spent several hours telling their personal story of Dozier & how the WHB’s Organization was founded. They were both lovely people & I was grateful that they had been so willing to meet with me & be as open as they were. When we finally moved into the dining room to look over the things that I had brought, I began pulling things out. I yanked a folder out that had been wedged inside of my over full bag & a stack of papers fell out. The stack was stapled together & folded in half. I picked it up to see what it was & as I unfolded it, my jaw hit the floor!

    OH…MY…GOD…It was a hard copy of the list of missing boys! The same list that I had just spent weeks trying to find! The stuff inside of that bag was the stuff that I pulled out & reviewed quite frequently & there’s absolutely NO way that I would missed that thick stack of ledger pages! I slid the stack across the table, explaining to Bryant why I was a bit stunned at finding them. He thought it was strange as well. I’m not going to get into the specifics of my time with the Middletons in this post, although I will say that I’m very fortunate to have met with them. They’re great people & they continue to work toward keeping the future from repeating the past.

    WHERE COULD THEY BE?

OF COURSE THERE is minimal info on the boys on this list. What is known is that most were listed as escaped but never recovered. A lot lacked permanent homes OR guardians, so there wouldn’t have been any concerned parents wondering about the whereabouts of their lost boy. It should also be noted that the last place they were seen was the Dozier School for Boys in Marianna. That leaves so many unanswered questions; Could ALL 185 boys on that list have actually successfully escaped & moved on to a better life? Even if that did happen, would it be possible that NOT 1 single child ever be heard from again? I suppose it could be possible for some BUT for All 185? I seriously have my doubts & given the history of Dozier, I’d say that’s highly unlikely. Especially considering the significant proof of other burial sites on the school’s 1200+ acres.Whether or not they continued life after Dozier OR their lives were taken at the school, they each deserve to be recognized. I’ll let them speak for themselves….

“To study the self is to forget the self” Dōgen Lately, in my solitude, I have been studying the self, my self. I know this sounds like it’s going down the “self” ish rabbit hole. But it’s not. So stay with me please. I have been reflecting on the gravity of making music for most of my life. Specifically, recording professionally for 3 decades. After all, I began piano lessons at 6 years of age. I’m in it and it’s in me. Aldo, it’s interesting how the sheer nature of the piano, my muse and master, tends to be a lonely one. Whether practicing, rehearsing, composing, arranging, recording, producing or performing in varied diverse settings. I am often in all of this alone. True. But not true. This, this realization followed by a flood of thankfulness happened. In studying myself, I forgot myself. I concluded that the time had come for a “shout out loud” of love for all of the individuals (sound engineers, musicians, writers, visual artists and designers, and believers) that have become my collective holy tribe. That contributed to what is now a catalogue of 300 recorded tracks. (I didn’t count until I had to personally organize them for metadata info and genre labeling.) So. Thank you. I cherish. Eisenhower y los Orígenes de la Exopolitica

El siguiente artículo lo hemos traducido de magoniamagazine.blogspot.com, sitio que señala que originalmente fue publicado en el Nº 93 de la revista Magonia, en Septiembre de 2006. Aquí su autor habla del conocido rumor de que el Presidente estadounidense Dwight Eisenhower (el mismo criminal que hizo morir por hambre y exposición a la intemperie a más de un millón de prisioneros alemanes civiles y militares después de la Segunda Guerra en sus campos de la muerte, los verdaderos) se reunió con extraterrestres y conoció sus naves. Fuera de dar diversos antecedentes de esa turbia historia, el acento en este texto está puesto en la creación de lo que se dio en llamar Exopolítica, una tendencia enfocada en el tema OVNI desde un punto de vista logístico, pero sin ninguna fe del autor en ella, como es lo natural. El escritor de este estudio (Ike and the Aliens: The Origins of Exopolitics) es el estadounidense Curtis L. Peebles (1955-2017), investigador, historiador y escritor de temas aeronáuticos, autor de una decena de libros, y un escéptico del fenómeno óvnico.

    A finales de Febrero de 1954 el Presidente Dwight D. Eisenhower disfrutaba de unas vacaciones de golf en Palm Springs, California. Después de cenar el sábado 20 de Febrero de 1954 Eisenhower salió del balneario de improviso. Los reporteros que cubrían sus vacaciones se enteraron de su ausencia, y un reportero de Associated Press publicó un boletín informativo que decía "El Presidente Eisenhower murió esta noche de un ataque cardíaco en Palm Springs".

    Dos minutos más tarde, el informe fue retirado. La mañana siguiente, el domingo 21 de Febrero de 1954, el Presidente asistió a un servicio de iglesia, bastante vivo. Su portavoz dijo que Eisenhower había visto a un dentista después de que se le había salido una tapadura de un diente mientras comía un ala de pollo en la cena [1].

La realidad de las formas aéreas de "otro plano" está ahora y para siempre fuera de los reinos de la especulación y hecha una parte bastante dolorosa de la conciencia de cada grupo científico y político responsable.

   «Durante mi visita de dos días vi cinco tipos separados y distintos de naves siendo estudiadas y manipuladas por nuestros funcionarios de la fuerza aérea, ¡con la ayuda y permiso de los Etéreos! No tengo palabras para expresar mis reacciones.

   «El Presidente Eisenhower, como usted puede saber ya, fue llevado en secreto a Muroc una noche durante su visita a Palm Springs recientemente. Y es mi convicción que él ignorará el terrible conflicto entre las diversas "autoridades" y se dirigirá directamente a la gente mediante radio y televisión, si la situación se sigue prolongando. De la información que pude recabar, una declaración oficial al país está siendo preparada para mediados de Mayo.

    «Dejaré a vuestros propios excelentes poderes de deducción el construír un cuadro apropiado del pandemónium mental y emocional que está haciendo añicos ahora la conciencia de cientos de nuestras "autoridades" científicas y de todos los expertos de los diversos conocimientos especializados que componen nuestra física actual.     La noticia de la carta de Light pronto se difundió entre los creyentes de OVNIs. Desmond Leslie mencionó la historia varios meses más tarde. El Incidente Roswell

    El renacimiento de la historia de Ike [Eisenhower] y los alienígenas comenzó con el libro de Charles Berlitz y William L. Moore "The Roswell Incident". Publicado en 1980, no revivió simplemente la historia casi olvidada de un accidente de platillo volador, sino que finalmente daría origen a la mitología del Lado Oscuro y a la Exopolítica. Pese a todo su impacto posterior, "El Incidente Roswell" en sí era de bastante poca substancia. El libro contaba la historia del mayor Jesse A. Marcel, el oficial de Inteligencia del Ala 509 de Bombarderos en Roswell en Julio de 1947. Marcel narró la recuperación de extraños restos, que él describió como siendo pedazos de un material parecido a un pergamino y palos como de balsa con "jeroglíficos" rosados y púrpuras. Esos fragmentos no podían ser rotos o quemados. Había también grandes partes metálicas que no podían ser abolladas ni dobladas. Marcel no afirmó haber visto un platillo volador estrellado o cuerpos alienígenas, sino sólo extraños restos [4].

    El grueso de "El Incidente Roswell" consistía en recuerdos e historias que tenían poca o ninguna vinculación directa con las presuntas experiencias de Marcel. El ingeniero de radio canadiense Wilbert B. Smith era una de tales fuentes. Él había escrito un memorándum ultra secreto en Noviembre de 1950 acerca de la participación del gobierno estadounidense con platillos voladores. Smith dijo en la nota que los platillos voladores eran el asunto más altamente clasificado en Estados Unidos, incluso más que la bomba de hidrógeno.

    Berlitz y Moore también hablaron de una descripción escrita por Meade Layne alrededor de 1949, que se dijo que estaba basada en la información de dos científicos y "un hombre de negocios de alta posición". El "doctor Weidberg", descrito como un profesor de física de una universidad de California no especificada, se dijo que había participado en el examen del platillo. Según Layne, el profesor dijo que estaba "formado como la caparazón de una tortuga" y que tenía una cabina de aproximadamente 15 pies [4,5 mts] de diámetro. El relato de Layne seguía:

   "Los cuerpos de seis ocupantes estaban quemados... y el interior del disco había sido muy dañado por el intenso calor. Una ventanilla había sido rota...

Un cuerpo estaba sentado en lo que parecía ser una mesa de control, había algunos aparatos delante de él, y en las paredes o paneles había caracteres escritos, en un lenguaje desconocido para cualquiera de los investigadores. Ellos dijeron que era diferente de cualquier cosa conocida por ellos, y definitivamente no era ruso...".

    Él añadió que el doctor Weidberg había indicado que el platillo fue llevado en camión desde el sitio del accidente a Magdalena, New Mexico. El OVNI fue cargado entonces en un carro especial del ferrocarril de la ruta Atchison-Topeka-Santa Fe. La ruta del tren pasaba por Belen, Grants y Gallup, New Mexico, y luego por Flagstaff, Arizona, y seguía a Needles y Cadiz en California, antes de llegar finalmente a Muroc, donde estaba localizado "Camp Edwards" [5].

MJ-12, el Lado Oscuro, y la Exopolítica

    La publicación de "El Incidente Roswell" llegó en un momento en que el mito del platillo volador estaba experimentando cambios fundamentales. Durante principios y mediados de los años '80 se difundieron historias de platillos estrellados, seres "grises", mutilaciones de ganado y de humanos, abducciones, implantes, creación de híbridos alienígenas-humanos, bases alienígenas subterráneas, tratados secretos entre Estados Unidos y los alienígenas, intercambios de tecnología, y de una sombría organización llamada MJ-12 (Majestic 12) que supervisaba todo eso [7].

    Eso se hizo conocido como el Lado Oscuro (Darkside), y fue definido por Milton William Cooper en su manifiesto "El Gobierno Secreto. El Origen, Identidad y Propósito de MJ-12". Cooper afirmó que su descripción estaba basada en documentos que él había visto entre 1970 y 1973 mientras era un soldado raso naval. Eso incluía la historia de la reunión entre Eisenhower y los alienígenas, y la afirmación de la existencia de un tratado secreto.

    Según Cooper, se establecieron comunicaciones radiales con un grupo de "alienígenas Grises de grandes narices". Eso ocasionó un aterrizaje en la base Holloman de la Fuerza Aérea por parte de esos alienígenas a principios de 1954. Durante esa primera reunión cara a cara, fue elaborado un acuerdo básico, y se hicieron arreglos para un tratado formal. Un segundo aterrizaje de alienígenas en la base Edwards siguió en Febrero de 1954. Cooper escribió que Eisenhower arregló estar en Palm Springs durante vacaciones. Durante el día planeado, el Presidente fue llevado en secreto a la base Edwards, con la visita dental como historia encubridora. Cooper continúa: "El Presidente Eisenhower se reunió con los alienígenas y fue firmado un tratado formal entre la Nación Alienígena y Estados Unidos".

    Cooper afirmó que el tratado permitió que los alienígenas abdujeran a un número limitado de humanos para propósitos de examinación médica. Los abducidos no serían dañados, serían devueltos al lugar de donde ellos fueron tomados, y no tendrían ningún recuerdo de lo que había pasado. Los alienígenas proporcionarían a MJ-12 una lista de toda la gente que fuera secuestrada. A cambio, al gobierno estadounidense le sería suministrada tecnología alienígena avanzada. La existencia de los alienígenas también sería mantenida en secreto por el gobierno estadounidense, y serían construídas bases subterráneas para los alienígenas. Cooper posteriormente afirmó que el gobierno estadounidense comprendió hacia 1955 que los alienígenas habían violado el tratado. Tanto humanos como animales fueron mutilados, una lista completa de humanos abducidos no estaba siendo proporcionada a MJ-12 por los alienígenas, y no todos los abducidos estaban siendo devueltos.

    Mientras en la superficie Cooper escribía sobre platillos voladores y alienígenas, la masa del texto eran realmente teorías de conspiración derechistas. Eso implicaba a los Bilderbergers, quienes, dijo Cooper, controlaban el Consejo de Relaciones Exteriores y la Comisión Trilateral.     Esa conspiración, según Cooper, equivalía a un gobierno mundial secreto. Ella era responsable de las muertes tanto del Secretario de Defensa James Forrestal como del Presidente John F. Kennedy. Ella creó el SIDA y otras enfermedades a fin de reducir la población del mundo. La conspiración tenía planes para acorralar a todos los "disidentes" y despacharlos a enormes campos de concentración que ya habían sido construídos.     A mediados de los años '90 Cooper abandonó la ovnilogía y se convirtió en una figura principal en el movimiento Milicia. Él fue muerto el 6 de Noviembre de 2001 en un tiroteo con policías de Arizona [9]. La duradera contribución de Cooper fue la mitología del Lado Oscuro, que fue consagrada en la cultura popular por programas de televisión tales como The X-Files y Dark Skies. Mientras la Derecha había sido la primera en abrazar el Lado Oscuro, la mitología también fue aceptada pronto por la Izquierda.

    La ovnilogía en el contexto de un movimiento político izquierdista comenzó a principios de los años '90, contra el telón de fondo del colapso del comunismo, la caída de la Unión Soviética, y el final de la Guerra Fría. Hacia comienzos del siglo XXI, ese movimiento se hizo conocido como "Exopolítica".     Varios individuos surgieron como las figuras principales en ese movimiento. Entre ellos se incluían Steven Greer y Alfred Webre. Al igual que Cooper, ellos afirmaron que el mundo era realmente dirigido por una camarilla secreta. Greer dijo que ésa era "un comité de entre 200 y 300 personas" que implicaban a importantes funcionarios del gobierno estadounidense, de los militares y de Inteligencia, a "la familia bancaria de Liechtenstein", al "Imperio corporativo mormón" y a "células dentro del Vaticano". Ellos habían asesinado a Marilyn Monroe y al ex-director de la CIA William Colby para impedirles hablar, y habían usado un "arma electromagnética" para hacer que Greer y otros fueran golpeados con el cáncer [11]. Greer también afirmó que grupos de OVNIs eran controlados por la conspiración. Él dijo en una entrevista que "agentes de proyectos negros profundamente encubiertos están trabajando estrechamente con presuntos investigadores civiles, periodistas, y las celebridades del mundo OVNI" [12].

    Mientras Cooper se había enfocado exclusivamente en una dominante conspiración, las figuras principales de la Exopolítica también ofrecieron una visión mesiánica del futuro una vez que la revelación había ocurrido. Greer dijo que la tecnología alienígena "potenciaría una nueva civilización humana sin necesidades, pobreza o daño medioambiental". Él además sostuvo que "no hay ningún límite a lo que la Humanidad puede conseguir" [13]. Webre implicó que la revelación provocaría una transformación fundamental de los seres humanos. Él dijo: "Somos un núcleo de terrestres políticamente sensibles que estamos conscientes de que el campo de juego es enorme... Fundamentalmente la transformación comienza dentro de todos nosotros, ya que nosotros somos la transformación. Somos el exo-gobierno. Somos el nuevo humano Universal" [14].

    En 2003 surgió una nueva figura en la Éxopolítica. Era el doctor Michael E. Salla, un investigador residente en el Centro para la Paz Global de la American University. Él era también el director del Programa Embajadores de Paz, que el sitio web de la universidad describía como un "programa de verano que combina estudio, prácticas meditativas, y ceremonias de rezo en sitios seleccionados de Washington DC con el objetivo de la promoción del auto-potenciamiento individual y la Forma de Gobierno Divina en Washington DC". Salla recibió su PhD en Gobierno de la Universidad de Queensland, Australia, y un grado de magíster en Filosofía de la Universidad de Melbourne, Australia. Él había escrito extensamente acerca de la resolución de conflictos, condujo trabajos de campo en Timor Oriental, Kosovo, Macedonia y Sri Lanka, y organizó talleres internacionales acerca de esos conflictos [15].

    Salla comenzó a escribir una serie de informes sobre exopolítica en Enero de 2003, los que parecen haber atraído poco interés entre el personal de la American University o entre creyentes en OVNIs. Eso cambió con el Estudio de Investigación Nº 8, datado el 28 de Enero de 2004. Se titulaba "El Encuentro de 1954 de Eisenhower con Extraterrestres: ¿El Quincuagésimo Aniversario del Primer Tratado de Estados Unidos con Extraterrestres?".

    El informe comenzaba con la desaparición de Eisenhower, y repetía la historia de la carta de Gerald Light acerca de su visita a Muroc con el grupo de distinguidas figuras públicas para ver los platillos voladores. Salla mencionó que Light era un "místico avanzado en años", pero enfatizó las reacciones fisiológicas descritas en la carta de Light. Salla posteriormente sostuvo que Light, Nourse, el cardenal McIntyre y Allen "ciertamente habían sido elecciones razonables para una delegación de la comunidad...".

    Él notó que el doctor Edwin Nourse podía "proporcionar su conocimiento acerca del probable impacto económico del Primer Contacto con extraterrestres". El cardenal James McIntyre habría sido, según Salla, "un importante indicador para la posible reacción de líderes religiosos en general, y en particular de la institución religiosa más influyente y poderosa en el planeta: la Iglesia Católica". Franklin Allen, en ese entonces un antiguo reportero de 80 años del Grupo Periodístico Hearst, fue descrito como "una buena elección de un miembro de la prensa que podía mantener la confidencialidad".

    Salla escribió que "Los cuatro representaban a líderes mayores de las comunidades religiosa, espiritual, económica y periodística, y estaban bien avanzados en edad y status". Salla mencionó la posibilidad de que Light puede haber usado sus nombres «en un fabricado relato de una experiencia "fuera del cuerpo"», pero dijo además que «no hay nada en la selección de Light que elimine la posibilidad de que ellos fueran miembros creíbles de tal delegación». Salla concluyó que eso proporcionaba «pruebas circunstanciales de que tuvo lugar una reunión con extraterrestres y de que Eisenhower estuvo presente».

    Salla entonces recurrió a "testimonios" que apoyaban la historia de la reunión de Eisenhower con los alienígenas. No sorprendentemente, Cooper tenía el papel central, y Salla citó extensamente de sus escritos. Cooper, sin embargo, no era la única persona que afirmaba saber sobre el incidente, según Salla. Otra era el doctor Michael Wolf, que afirmó haber estado implicado, durante un período de 25 años, con varios comités hacedores de política que trataban con la presencia alienígena. Él declaró que la administración de Eisenhower había firmado un tratado con una raza alienígena, pero que ese tratado no había sido presentado para su ratificación por el Congreso, como lo requería la Constitución estadounidense.

    Un tercer individuo era Phil Schneider, descrito como "un antiguo ingeniero geológico que fue empleado por corporaciones y contratado para construír bases subterráneas". Salla declaró que el conocimiento de éste sobre el tratado "habría venido de su familiaridad con una variedad de proyectos negros compartimentados y de la interacción con otro personal que trabajaba con extraterrestres". Schneider escribió:

   "Ya en 1954, bajo la administración Eisenhower, el gobierno federal decidió eludir la Constitución de Estados Unidos y formar un tratado con entidades alienígenas. Fue llamado el Tratado Greada de 1954, que básicamente hizo el acuerdo de que los alienígenas implicados podrían tomar unas cuantas vacas y probar sus técnicas de implantación en algunos seres humanos, pero que ellos tenían que dar detalles acerca de la gente implicada".

    Al igual que Cooper, Schneider también afirmó que los alienígenas habían violado el tratado. Eso implicaba el número de gente abducida. Schneider añadió que "los alienígenas alteraron el trato hasta que ellos decidieron que no cumplirían con ello en absoluto".

    El coronel Phillip Corso está también entre los denunciantes. Corso también escribió en sus memorias que la administración Eisenhower firmó un tratado con los alienígenas. Él declaró: "Habíamos negociado una especie de rendición puesto que no podíamos luchar contra ellos. Ellos dictaron los términos porque sabían que lo que más temíamos era la revelación" [16].

Todo el Diente

    Cuando un académico, que tiene una posición en una importante universidad, afirma públicamente que el Presidente de Estados Unidos firmó un tratado secreto con extraterrestres, él es observado. Peter Carlson, un escritor de planta del Washington Post estuvo entre aquellos que observaron a Salla. Su artículo "Ike and the Alien Ambassadors. The Whole Tooth about the President's Extraterrestrial Encounter" fue publicado el 19 de Febrero de 2004, en la sección "Estilo" del periódico.

    En su informe del 28 de Enero de 2004 Salla había hecho el recuento de los diversos relatos del encuentro de Eisenhower con los alienígenas en la base Edwards, sin llegar a una conclusión sobre la cadena de acontecimientos. En una reunión con Carlson, sin embargo, él proporcionó un relato específico. Salla le dijo al reportero que la visita de Eisenhower a la base Edwards realmente había sido para reunirse con dos extraterrestres de tipo "nórdico", más bien que para firmar un tratado. Salla describió a esos alienígenas como parecidos a la gente escandinava, con pelo blanco, ojos azules claros, y labios descoloridos. Los Nórdicos se comunicaron con Eisenhower telepáticamente. Salla explicó: "Es como si usted estuviera oyendo a una persona pero ella no está hablando".

    Según Salla, los dos alienígenas de ojos azules ofrecieron compartir su avanzada tecnología y su sabiduría espiritual, pero sólo si Estados Unidos abandonaba sus armas nucleares. Salla explicó: "Ellos temían que pudiéramos hacer explotar algo de nuestra tecnología nuclear, y aparentemente aquello le hace algo al tiempo y al espacio e impacta a razas extraterrestres en otros planetas".

    Aunque varias de las descripciones más tempranas sostenían que el tratado fue firmado durante el viaje de Eisenhower a la base Edwards, Salla contó a Carlson una versión diferente. Eisenhower rechazó la oferta de los alienígenas, ya que él no quiso renunciar a las armas nucleares. Según Salla, en algún momento más tarde en 1954, el gobierno estadounidense alcanzó un acuerdo con los Grises. Como con Cooper y los relatos de los otros informadores, ése era un acuerdo que permitió que los Grises secuestraran humanos, a condición de que fueran devueltos sanos y salvos. Salla dijo que desde entonces, los Grises han secuestrado a "millones" de humanos.

    Salla también habló en cuanto a cómo él llegó a interesarse en la Exopolítica. Carlson escribió: «Durante la mayor parte de los años 90, Salla estudió la resolución de conflictos y trató sin éxito de aplicar aquel conocimiento para prevenir la guerra en Timor Oriental y los Balcanes, dice él. Frustrado, él comenzó a buscar una conexión extraterrestre para la miseria humana y, dice, encontró pruebas de visitaciones extraterrestres —incluído el encuentro de Eisenhower— en Internet. "Hay mucho material en Internet", dice él, "y yo sólo fui y reuní los trozos"».

    Carlson examinó las afirmaciones hechas por Salla. La carencia de cualquier registro de Eisenhower sometiéndose a un trabajo dental en Febrero de 1954 fue ofrecida como evidencia de una historia encubridora para el viaje a la base Edwards. Carlson se puso en contacto con la Biblioteca Eisenhower, y se le refirió un artículo de James M. Mixson publicado en la edición de Noviembre de 1995 del Boletín de Historia de la Odontología. Mixson, que era tanto un historiador dental como un profesor en la Escuela de Odontología de Missouri-Kansas City, usó los archivos del jefe de salud pública [surgeon general] de Estados Unidos relativos a la salud de Eisenhower, que fueron abiertos en 1991.

    El artículo titulado "Una Historia de la Salud Oral de Dwight D. Eisenhower" notaba que el Presidente tenía considerables problemas con la tapadura de porcelana en su incisivo central superior izquierdo. Ella fue primero instalada en Julio de 1952, durante la campaña presidencial, pero fue sacada y reparada en Diciembre de ese año. La tapadura fue nuevamente rota por el ala de pollo el 20 de Febrero de 1954. El doctor Francis A. Purcell, un dentista local, hizo el trabajo de reparación. Mixson notó en el artículo que "La carencia de un registro dental de la oficina de Purcell ha ayudado a alimentar la creencia en ese encuentro OVNI". La tapadura se rompió otra vez en Julio de 1954, cuando fue finalmente sustituída por una "delgada corona moldeada de oro-platino".

    Carlson también se enteró de que su investigación no era la primera en la Biblioteca Eisenhower con respecto al presunto incidente. Jim Leyerzapf, un archivista en la biblioteca, le dijo: "Hemos tenido tantas peticiones sobre aquel asunto que tenemos a una persona que se especializa en él". La Exopolítica como un Sistema Medieval de Creencias

    La historia de Eisenhower y los alienígenas comenzó con un malentendido menor que dio origen a un reportaje de prensa erróneo de que el Presidente Eisenhower estaba muerto. La carta de Gerald Light entonces vinculó el incidente a afirmaciones sobre un platillo estrellado y un encubrimiento gubernamental. Esa historia inicial fue ampliada pronto. Desmond Leslie añadió un informe de testigo ocular independiente con respecto al platillo que estaba bajo custodia en la base Edwards.     Ese defecto también existe en el resurgimiento de la historia como parte del mito exopolítico. Cooper, Wolf, Schneider y Corso han hecho todos afirmaciones acerca de sus antecedentes y experiencias que no son apoyadas por pruebas documentales. Salla reconoció eso, pero así como él racionalizó a Light como habiendo sido parte del grupo que fue a ver los platillos, Salla también racionalizó la carencia de pruebas. Él afirmó que la política del gobierno que trata con la filtrada información sobre OVNIs "es intimidar, silenciar, eliminar o desacreditar a esos individuos". Tal admisibilidad de testimonios basados en rumores fue anulada finalmente por la Ilustración y la revolución científica.

    El mito exopolítico representa un retorno a ese sistema medieval de creencias. La historia de Eisenhower y los alienígenas está basada en los rumores de informadores, no apoyados por ninguna evidencia. En vez de ello, tal como las pruebas basadas en rumores y el folklore en tiempos medievales, ellos deben ser aceptados como verdaderos sin cuestionarlos, incluso ante contradicciones y defectos obvios. La Exopolítica carece de cualquier estándar de pruebas para juzgar cuáles afirmaciones son válidas y cuáles no. No se hace ningún examen de los informantes. Más bien, los escritores de exopolítica seleccionan y eligen cuáles de sus afirmaciones son usadas y cuáles no, sin ninguna lógica o razón apreciable.

    Cooper no sólo fue una fuente principal para la descripción de Salla de la historia de Eisenhower y los alienígenas, sino que también él proporciona un ejemplo de esa selectividad. No hay ninguna referencia a alguna otra de las notables afirmaciones de Cooper. Él declaró, por ejemplo, que hay "áreas en la Luna donde la vida vegetal crece e incluso cambia de color con las estaciones", y que los humanos "pueden caminar sobre su superficie sin un traje espacial, respirando de una botella de oxígeno después de someterse a una descompresión".     Tal como en los tiempos medievales los defectos eran tratados o bien diciendo que ellos eran engaños de Satán o ignorándolos, los escritores de exopolítica tratan con los defectos en los relatos de los informantes de los mismos modos. Eso es mostrado por las divergentes versiones de las historias de Eisenhower y los alienígenas contadas por cada uno de los informantes, por cómo detalles como localización y fechas cambiaron con el tiempo en sus historias, y cómo Salla trató con esos defectos.

    Un ejemplo de eso es la versión original de John Lear de la historia del tratado, como está descrita en un informe del 29 de Diciembre de 1987. Lear dijo que el primer contacto ocurrió el 30 de Abril de 1964, cuando tres platillos aterrizaron en la base Holloman de la Fuerza Aérea en New Mexico. Se llevó a cabo una reunión entonces entre los alienígenas y oficiales de Inteligencia estadounidenses. Lear añadió que entre 1969 y 1971 se logró un tratado entre MJ-12 y los alienígenas. Al igual que en los relatos de los otros informantes, Lear afirmó que el tratado fue violado más tarde por los alienígenas [22].

    Lear después dio una versión completamente diferente de la historia del tratado durante una aparición el 2 de Noviembre de 2003 en el programa de radio Coast to Coast. Él dijo que la reunión fue en 1954 en el "Centro de Pruebas Muroc, que es ahora la base Edwards de la Fuerza Aérea".     En su informe original del 28 de Enero de 2004 acerca de la historia de Eisenhower y los alienígenas, Salla notó las diferencias entre Cooper y Lear en cuanto a cuándo y dónde tuvo lugar la reunión. Salla también afirmó que Lear había trabajado como un piloto de contrato de la CIA, y que tenía "una relación cercana con el director de la CIA William Colby". Entonces Salla escribió:

   "La pregunta sobre cuál relato es más confiable necesita enfocarse en la posibilidad de que Lear hubiera introducido deliberadamente algunas inexactitudes en su narración.     Durante el tiempo en que Carlson estaba investigando su historia para el Washington Post, Salla estaba revisando su propio informe, y publicó el nuevo texto una semana antes de que el artículo de Carlson saliera. En esa nueva versión del Estudio de Investigación Nº 8 Salla nota sólo que "Hay alguna discrepancia en los testimonios en cuanto a en cuál base de la Fuerza Aérea los desdeñados extraterrestres se reunieron con el Presidente Eisenhower". Él suprimió el texto sobre Lear y la CIA usando información falsa tanto para apoyar como para desacreditar los relatos de Cooper.

    Salla añadió a su informe un nuevo relato (de segunda mano) de la reunión de Eisenhower en la base Edwards. Charles L. Suggs, un retirado sargento de la Marina, afirmó que su difunto padre, el comandante naval Charles L. Suggs, había acompañado al Presidente Eisenhower y a otros en su reunión en Edwards el 20 de Febrero de 1954 para encontrarse con dos alienígenas nórdicos. Según Suggs hijo, el alienígena "portavoz" estaba a varios metros de Eisenhower y rechazó permitirle acercarse. El segundo alienígena estaba de pie en la extendida rampa de un "platillo bi-convexo que se sostenía en un tren de aterrizaje con forma de trípode".     La Exopolítica parece ser un nuevo punto de partida para el mito del platillo volador. Las creencias originales sobre OVNIs se desarrollaron a principios de la Guerra Fría. La Exopolítica, en contraste, está bajo la influencia de los muy posteriores movimientos pacifista, ambientalista, anti-nuclear y de oposición a defensas balísticas, e influída por la generalizada aceptación de teorías de conspiración, y la reunión de los extremos políticos post-Guerra Fría. Lear, Cooper y Corso son derechistas, pero sus afirmaciones son incorporadas en un marco político izquierdista.

    Otra influencia en la exopolítica es la del post-modernismo. En términos generales, éste sostiene que cada "narrativa" o "texto" son igualmente válidos, y que no hay ninguna "verdadera" versión de la historia. El concepto rechaza cualquier apelación a la "verdad" o a la "realidad". Cualquier intento de proporcionar una descripción completa de acontecimientos es considerado "opresivo". Todas las ideas son igualmente válidas, y todas las versiones son igualmente verdaderas. Eso refleja la ausencia de cualquier intento de determinar cuál de las diferentes versiones de la historia de Eisenhower y los alienígenas es "verdadera". Lo mismo se aplica también al propio post-modernismo, ya que a pesar de ser ampliamente aceptado, no hay ningún significado específico de ese concepto. Tan solamente eso dice mucho sobre el post-modernismo.

    Se podría sostener también que la Exopolítica es la heredera de la tradición de contactados y ocultista. Salla incluyó a Eduard "Billy" Meier y a otros contactados entre las fuentes usadas en un largo artículo titulado "Un Informe sobre las Motivaciones y las Actividades de las Razas Extraterrestres. Una Tipología de las Razas Extraterrestres más Significativas que Se Relacionan con la Humanidad" [27]. Alfred Webre también hace referencias a afirmaciones de Billy Meier, específicamente su "Talmud de Immanuel" y las "Profecías de Enoc" [28].

    El uso de métodos ocultistas es abiertamente aceptado en exopolítica. Salla consideró que la visión remota era un apoyo probatorio moderado para la investigación exopolítica.     Lo que es aún desconocido es la influencia que la Exopolítica tendrá al final en el mito del platillo volador. La Exopolítica puede llegar a dominar las creencias en OVNIs y formar las ideas políticas conspiratorias en la amplia sociedad. Alternativamente, la Exopolítica puede resultar no ser más que una manía efímera. Un ejemplo más temprano era la idea de que los platillos voladores eran "proyecciones psíquicas" más bien que naves espaciales alienígenas. An army of obedient servants would have to be recruited and trained to restore the Kingdom of Heaven to earth under Sun Myung Moon. They would have to work as people had never before worked because there had never been such a great mission. They would have to go wherever Moon sent them to raise the $300 million he needed for making his project worldwide and the billions more he needed to control the wealth of the planet. But Moon did not have shiploads of chained tribal people at his disposal when he arrived in America in 1971. Involuntary servitude was against the law. Could he make people think they were actually willing to be slaves?

He got the answer he wanted from idealistic American youth. He and they were ready for each other. They were people in the age group eighteen to twenty-four, in transition from adolescence to adulthood, student to professional, getting in or getting out of school, family life to life alone. For one in search of a coherent view of the world, college had the effect of making things more confusing by presenting so many different approaches to life without identifying one as altogether right. In the “real” world, problems abounded, from family disunity to the threat of nuclear destruction. At best, things were in disarray; at worst, life was chaotic, depressing. Such minds were fertile soil. Their idealism was the key. Describe how happy people would be if discord could be turned into harmony. Show how this can be done through unified love for God. Then play on the distance between what a person thinks he is and what he wants to be. Hold up ideals and make him ashamed of not living up to his own standards. Instill ideas of self-worthlessness. Make him feel guilty about putting concern for himself above group unity. The burden of guilt could be lightened by working as a family with others who believe the ideals can be attained here on earth. The family has a father who will lead the way. The harder one works for Father, the closer one gets to achieving the goal. Follow Father. God has shown him alone the path to perfection because he is the Messiah.

Moon taught a clear strategy for attracting prospective converts. Until the prospect is converted, he must not know that a strategy is being used. Later he will appreciate being deceived because the motive was his own salvation. First, all church members must make as many new acquaintances as possible. Befriend them by taking a personal interest; do not disagree with their views, whether right or wrong. Do favors. Find the right style to use on each kind of person. Classify his personality. Introduce him to a church member with a similar personality, but don’t reveal that he is a church member. Meet together like that two or three times. Get into conversations on current issues, ethics, or morality. Then say, “I know where there are many serious young people talking about things like this,” or “I have heard of some lectures about a new philosophy, very sincere, very interesting, talking about the problems of life. I would appreciate it if you would go with me so I can get your opinion on it.” The prospect will pay attention to the lecture because he has been asked for criticism. When he says it was wonderful, say, “Oh, I don’t know. Not necessarily so.” But suggest going again in order to learn more about it.

Chris Elkins was president of his fraternity at the University of Arizona when John Shea, a recent acquaintance, invited him to attend a lecture about something called the One World Crusade. What he heard was philosophical, nonreligious, and interesting. So he went again each week for a month or more. The One World Crusade was explained as a movement encompassing all aspects of life. He was impressed by the magnetism of the lecturer, Dr. Joseph Sheftick. He and his fifteen or twenty followers had an aura of confidence, friendliness, and sincerity. They related well to his own interests and seemed warmly concerned about him. As the lectures progressed, a Korean named Sun Myung Moon was mentioned as a great teacher, but the main stress was on the coming of a Messiah to build heaven on earth. It dawned on Elkins that Sun Myung Moon must be the Messiah in question, although no one had said he was. During dinner with the group one night, he stated that observation. Dr. Sheftick raised his head, sat up straight, and announced, “We have a new brother: Chris Elkins.”

Elkins did not affirm Sheftick’s declaration, nor did he deny it. He simply went along for the time being. In fact, he was seriously considering joining. The goals were so noble: peace and brotherhood at all levels. Fund-raising didn’t appeal to him, but he could swallow it because he felt he and the movement really belonged together. And the people gave him so much love and attention that he couldn’t just say no. His best friend tried to dissuade him. When his family protested, Dr. Sheftick warned that Satanic forces work best through those most loved.

Euphoria prevailed during his honeymoon period with the Moon cult. Then the atmosphere became more serious. Elkins didn’t like fasting and staying up all night praying aloud with the others. After a couple of weeks, it all seemed too heavy. Driving back to Illinois to visit his mother in the hospital, he was in a daze. He tried to think things out. What had he got into? Was this the life for him, separated from the rest of the world? The love … the concern … heaven on earth… . What if Moon was really what they said he was? Could he risk losing what they offered? From Illinois, he called the group. It felt good to hear their voices. He would return.

He resigned as president of the fraternity. The Moonies sent him to Phoenix to fund-raise by selling peanuts on the street. He was still restless because Satanic spirits were at work inside him, so he was grateful that another member was by his side at all times. His parents wanted the car back, but a leader chided him:

“Who needs it more? Your parents or the movement?”

He was learning. The great crusade required everything he had. The attachment to Father must be total, as Father said: Your whole body, every cell of your body, every movement, every facial motion, even every piece of hair, every ounce of energy must be directed to this one point. Just as other members were always with him physically, Father was always with him too: You must live with me spiritually all the time—while you are eating, while you are sleeping, while you are in the bathroom, while you are taking a bath, taking a rest, even in dreams you can be sitting with me and discussing with me. That’s the only way. This is the secret of our movement. Whoever has that basic, fundamental attitude and that spiritual power will perform miracles. Spiritual regeneration required mental somersaults. What once seemed true was now false. What once seemed unreal was now real. The world Elkins had known since birth was the product of original sin. The fall of Adam opened the floodgates to Satanic spirits, which had inundated the lives of Elkins’s ancestors. If he gave himself to Moon completely, he could rid himself of that awful heritage and be restored…

Book review: Robert Boettcher’s Gifts of Deceit insightfully and thoroughly documents the activities and findings of the Fraser Committee. This congressional subcommittee (through its 1978 report) on International Organizations opened a window on a world in Washington which many would prefer to see closed forever.

The report of this committee, informally called the Fraser Report, exhaustively documents and details Sun Myung Moon’s role in working to shape American foreign policy. Celebs like Kevin Hart, 2 Chainz, Quavo and Offset stepped out to watch the Los Angeles Lakers hit the court against the Atlanta Hawks. And there have been plenty of friendly trash talk being that 2 Chainz, Quavo & Offset are from the ATL area. Or maybe not since it seems the Migos are Lakers fans.

After making his first official public outing at the 2019 People's Choice Awards since his horrific car crash, comedian Kevin Hart was good spirits at the NBA game last night, snapping flicks with his rapper homies and sharing laughs courtside with his wife/son’s mother Eniko Hart.

Nice to see him smiling since his near-fatal car crash.

DeMarcus Cousins’ Warriors contract is less than these 192 NBA players made last season

The news that DeMarcus Cousins is signing with the Warriors made me shout out loud next to an open window. If anyone down on the street under my apartment heard me, then I apologize.

But what truly made my eyes almost pop out of my skull was the number he signed for.

Plenty of players take hometown discounts — and players who sign with the Warriors basically have to take a pay-cut of some sort to make it all work — but a player of Boogie’s caliber signing for the mid-level exception (basically a league-average salary) is unheard of.
