Humble steddie prompt:
Eddie dealing with allergies on top of a cold after Kink!Steve thought it would be a good idea to open the trailer windows to "air the place out" for his congestion 🤭
YES! Fuck I’ve missed them. For those new here, this is set in my Steddie Rockstar AU, where they both have the kink. Steve established, Eddie still sort of exploring it.
Tumblr media
They’d been off tour for about a week now. Being on the road for two months and managing roughly 5-6 hours of sleep a night really takes a toll on your body, and currently Eddie was paying the price.
It started as a scratchy throat and being tired - something he’d obviously chalked up to, well, two months on tour. But when the sneezing started and he lost his appetite, it was apparent he’d succumbed to some bug he must’ve picked up on the road.
The 29 year old musician was propped up in bed, huddled deep in a sweatshirt despite it being mid-August.
“Look at me Steve. Last week I … e’ktsch!” He sniffled thickly against his wrist, “Last week I was on top of the world and n’dow?? Look at m’be.”
Steve grabbed a box of tissues off the desk and held it out to his boyfriend, who gladly plucked a handful from the box.
“You’re a mess, Munson. You want me to make you something to eat? You’ve been living off slurpees, coffee and Taco Bell for months…”
Eddie grimaced at the thought of food and shook his head, eyes fluttering shut,“t’shh! e’ksch! H’eTSCHiew!!”
Each sneeze got more and more desperate. Steve couldn’t help but admire how cute Eddie looked, all bundled up and disheveled in bed. I mean, he was a world renowned rockstar known for his high energy shows and now he just seemed small and sick.
“Sheesh, bless you.”
Eddie winked from behind the tissues before blowing his nose. “You like m’be best when I’m weak.”
Steve rolled his eyes and cracked open the bedroom window. Eddie quirked an eyebrow.
“To help with your congestion.” Steve explained as he went to sit down on the bed next to Eddie.
“SNF ughhhh,” Eddie coughed down toward his lap and sniffled again.
“My poor rockstar.” Steve teased, touching the nape of Eddie’s neck and gently pulling him towards his chest.
The older man rested his forehead on Steve’s shoulder as a breeze blew through the room.
Steve could feel Eddie tense up.
“H’xxt! NxxT! H’ixXT!” He brought the back of his wrist up to his nose and shuddered with each stifle.
“Hey, don’t. That’s gonna make your headache worse.”
Steve used his finger to gently lift Eddie’s chin so they were eye to eye. Eddie’s head tilted back slightly and Steve felt his face get hot as he watched his partner’s raw nostrils flare.
“H’itSCHiew! Christ! You opened that on purpose, you minx.” Eddie rubbed at his nose, eyeballing Steve’s lust.
“It helped the congestion, didn’t it?”

Super Late Birthday Fic
...I know this is like almost a month late @poetic-illness but I wrote you a Birthday fic because you wrote me a really great fic on my Birthday. So here this is Happy Super Late Birthday!!! I hope you like this!!! 🤣 Eddie fumbled with his phone getting a video call set up, propping his phone up on a nest of pillows. He smiled when Steve came into view but his smile quickly dropped when he noticed how pale and drawn his boyfriend looked. The light pink hue of a low-grade fever dusted his cheeks. “Flu finally catch up with you?” Eddie cooed, trying not to sound amused as his boyfriend recently bragged about how certain he wouldn’t get the flu this year. He’d even made sure to get his flu shot early if that wasn’t comedic irony. Shut uhhuh-up…”Steve grumbled, sniffling thickly through his clogged nose, rubbing at the flushed appendage with a bit of squish. “Someone’s grumpy…”Eddie teased good-naturedly, knowing Steve had a habit of getting slightly moody when he wasn’t feeling well. It probably didn’t help that Eddie was in another City visiting family. Steve was on his own with this bug, making his heart ache a little. “How’re you feeling?”He asked, chewing his lower lip, watching his boyfriend fuss a bit with his flushed pink nose nudging at already chapped skin. “Like crap, but better than I would if I hadn’t gotten my flu shot,” Steve sniffled scrunching up his nose, “...gh my nose is driving me nuts…” “Poor thing…”Eddie practically purred, wetting his lower lip watching Steve knuckle at his flushed nostrils and itchy squelch. Steve huffed out a laugh raising his brow at the other man from the other side of the screen. “Something tells me you’re not too disappointed to hear that.” “Tease.” Eddie cackled, flopping back against the headrest of the bed. “Sorry to disahhuh…point, Baby,” Steve chuckled, his breath wavering slightly with hitched breaths.” but I haven’t had much luck with sneezes today.” “Hmm…actually I might have an idea…if you’re interested?” He twisted a dark curl around his finger, tugging it over his mouth as he gave his boyfriend a cheeky little grin. Steve gave Eddie a questioning look curious as to what the other man was going to suggest. “Whhhuh-hat exactly do you have in mind, babe?” “You could try inducing…I could talk you through it if you wanted.”He suggested with a little shrug. Steve felt his skin prickle with excitement at Eddie's suggestion. He’d only recently learned about the other man’s kink but he’d had been enthusiastic to indulge his boyfriend. “And how do you suggest I go about that…since you’re the expert?” Steve asked flashing a grin at the older man. After a quick discussion, they decided Q-tip would probably be the best thing to start with. Not wanting to risk the prolonged misery of an allergy attack when his boyfriend was already feeling pretty crummy. Steve dug around in their nightstand in search of the tool in question, which had frequently appeared in many of their…inducing sessions. Making a bit of a triumphant noise when he finally found what he was looking for, holding it up to the camera to show Eddie. “So uh…how do I…”Steve started twirling the Q-tip between his fingertip anxiously. Eddie chuckled not used to seeing Steve look so uncertain, but to be fair he was usually the one inducing the younger man. “Well first you’ve gotta actually put the Q-tip in your nose, babe.” He teased earning an eye roll from his boyfriend, watching as he just barely inserted the fuzzy end of the Q-tip into his left nostril. His whole face scrunched up as he coughed ticklishly, immediately removing it to scrub his nose. “Gh…I forgot how weird it feels.” Steve snuffled thickly. “It’s ‘cuz it’s gotta go a little deeper than that Steve otherwise it’ll just make you cough, baby.”Eddie chuckled watching as his boyfriend fumbled awkwardly with the Q-tip. Steve coughed against as he reinserted the Q-tip following Eddie’s instructions sliding it into his nostril a bit deeper this time until the ticklish coughs tapered off into hitched breaths. The bridge of his straight nose wrinkled at the bridge. “That’s it, Stevie, now just start moving it around.”Eddie practically purred watching his boyfriend follow his instruction. His nostrils flickering as he swirled the Q-tip around. “O-oh that tihhih…tickles.” Steve mumbled through hitching breaths as he wiggled the Q-tip around in his left nostril. His expression grew hazy before it crumpled completely, “HahhAH’TSCHH! ‘TSCHHUUu! Hh’DKXnsh!” Steve practically snapped in half with harsh messy sneezes, the hand just hovering in front of his face Q-tip long forgotten still sticking out of his left nostril. Still ticklishly fluttering around as his mouth hung open slightly and his chest swelled with hitching breaths. “Ehhh- Ehhhh!! HUhh’ HHASHhieuu!!!” He plucked the Q-tip from his nostril, knuckling at the tip of his nose irritably. Lowering his hand from his face with a thick sniffle. “Bless you, Stevie…you look like you could use a nap.”Eddie cooed, watching as he practically melted back into the pillow on his bed relaxing a bit now that the tickle in his nose had been scratched. “Mmm…I can stay on longer…”Steve mumbled rubbing at his eyes with the heel of his hand. “Alright, I’ll stay on with you a little longer…”Eddie smiled, talking to his boyfriend and telling Steve about his day. Keeping his voice smooth and even lulling the younger man to sleep. He smiled watching his boyfriend snore for a few minutes before mumbling a soft goodnight. Hanging up the phone.

(Y/N) asking giant dragon hybrid Eddie to store them. They've done it before, but never when they're sade like this. -SmolKuriboh27
Happy vore day!
(Finally getting around to answering my asks ':) Sorry for the delay and thank you for your patience xx)
Dragon hybrid Eddie x human (Y/N)
-------
It's dark out when (Y/N) treks up the mountain. Ignoring the deep claw marks that have been scratched into trees and large boulders alike. Warning signs laid out by a creature much bigger than themself. An ominous black void acts as the entrance into a cave carved from stone. The ceiling towers high above them as they step into the foreboding space.
It's quiet. The only sound besides their footsteps are soft sniffles which feel too loud in the silent atmosphere. He wants to call out, announce his presence but his throat is so tight he can barely get out a strangled whine. He doesn't get a chance to try again as they're suddenly pinned beneath a large clawed hand, he only manages to gasp as the air is forced from his lungs.
Glancing up from the hand, (Y/N) finds himself staring straight up at a set of snarling pearl white teeth. Razor sharp and perfect for ripping into meat. He whimpers under the weight as those teeth part to let out a deep rumbling warning "Eddie!" He chokes out "it's me, it's just (Y/N)!" The snarling halts at their cry and the maw leans back so two large narrowed brown eyes can peer at the human beneath his hand. The creature's face softens and the weight eases up.
"My apologies, sweetheart" he mutters softly, shifting his hand to gently stroke their face with the knuckle of his forefinger. Always so careful with his little one.
His treasure.
"It's been awhile I wasn't expecting you..." it's a subtle prompt. Where were you? Why did you leave? I missed you.
Those big doe eyes tug at his heartstrings. He had stopped his visits with no explanation for the dragon. "I'm sorry, my friend" he starts, leaning into the hybrid's gentle touch "I never meant to leave for so long, things have been...hectic" he sighs.
His human looks so worn, deep bags beneath their eyes and fatigue clear in their gate. *His poor treasure.* "Do you wish to talk about it?" Eddie asks, removing his hand as they sit up. He lays his head on his crossed arms, prepared to hear them out if that is what they want.
(Y/N) takes a moment to simply observe the dragon they had missed so dearly. His curling dark hair and large black horns decorated with many gold chains and other shiny items. A sight to behold and a blessing to be so close. They shake their head, wiping a few tears from their cheeks as their tears finally stop. They're safe from the pressures of the world here.
"Not really" he shifts awkwardly "at least...not yet" he corrects himself. The human chews his lip. Did he really have any right to ask anything of Eddie? He had left with no explanation, no goodbye. "I was hoping...maybe you could hide me away for a bit?" Their words are tentative as they peer up at the dragon. Eddie tilts his head and (Y/N) shifts awkwardly "keep me safe?" This time Eddie's eyes light up at the familiar request.
The phrase had become a sort of code word between the two.
All at once the dragon softens. His little one must be so stressed if they're coming to him for this. "Of course, my prince" Eddie rumbles softly as he presses his nose into their stomach, nuzzling the little human.
Sitting back up, Eddie towers high above them once more. A gentle hand scoops them from the cold stone of the cave floor. He goes slow, taking their lower legs between his lips, lapping at them as he works more of their body into his maw. They taste wonderful as always and as much as Eddie would love to sit and play with them, they're sad right now. They need comfort and he can provide that.
So after giving them a few licks and grunting out his praise, tail sweeping across the floor like some kind of overgrown puppy, he sends them down. A soft swallow drags them down into his throat, he can trace their descent just by the feeling of them working their way past his heart and lungs. He shudders as they spill out into his stomach, warmth radiating from the sensation which seeps out spreading all the way to his fingertips.
Eddie lays back down once more, laying on his side so he can cup a protective hand over his abdomen. "Better?" He asks softly, rubbing at his stomach lightly. "Better. Thank you, Eddie" the small voice from inside replies.
(Y/N) leans back into the organ, snuggling into one of the man folds of Eddie's stomach. "We'll talk later, rest now darling" Eddie smiles. He closes his eyes, ready to rest alongside his treasure. (Y/N) hums in response already on the cusp of sleep "sleep well, my knight."

I know I'm delusional and it will never happen in this lifetime but wouldn't it be fucking neat if in s5 of s/tranger t/hings for just no reason whatsoever s/teve h/arrington develops the sneeziest headcold ever. And then everything that's happening just happens and he has to deal with it all. All the stress and drama and potential injuries. Whilst also sneezing and blowing his nose. Swooning a little when his temperature spikes. I just think that would be fun 🤪

There’s actual sneezing in this part!!! YAY!!! More mechanically inclined Eddie because I like the idea of him being good at fixing things. I hope writing their dynamic right, I’m not totally sure but I’m having fun!!! Looks like there might be a part 3 if people are still interested, we’ll see but anyway enjoy!!!
Eddie spent the next hour fiddling with the heating unit, glancing anxiously at Steve watching as his budding cold slowly progressed shifting into his head. Steve leaned heavily on the counter, a hand pressed to his forehead like he was trying to will away a headache. He was on the phone listening to a customer drone on about a movie they wanted but didn’t know the title. It sounded like his sinus had turned to sludge, with every syrupy sniffle. The general brain fog that came with being sick hazing over his expression. Eddie’s heart constricted hearing Steve’s breath snag for what had to be the millionth time in an hour.
He watched as he put Steve bent away from the phone as much as he could before pressing a loose fist under his nose,“ Hhhh…hah..hh'DKNGt! Hh’DKXnsh! hhHH’KDSsh!”
Eddie watched Steve snap to the side with three barely contained stifles, before straightening up with a shudder. The warmth the loaned jacket provided him long gone, replaced by the biting chill that had taken up residency in the small store.
At this rate he really was worried that the other boy was going to turn into a popsicle with how badly he was trembling. Thankfully Eddie found the problem and what part he’d need to fix it. “I think I found the source of your problem,” He told Steve he got off the phone, “I’m gonna go pick up the part, do you need me to get anything else to hold you over while I’m out?”
“A dew immude systeb,” Steve croaked sniffling thickly, opening the cash register digging around pulling out some money, “here hopefully this’ll cover the price of the part, let be kdow if it doesd’t…” Eddie could barely understand Steve around the congestion that flooded his voice.
Honestly he expected Steve to be more whiny when he was sick but was just mostly quiet and too out of it for Eddie's comfort.
He took the money wincing as he watched Steve basically grind the heel of his palm into his socket, trying to relieve some of the pressure there.
“I’m going to be blunt, you sound bad Harrington,” Eddie told him, folding his arms over his chest, “you sure you don’t need anything else, painkillers maybe?” “I just wadt it to dot be so cold,”Steve sighed, another shiver rattling his body, “fix the heater add you will be by dew best friedd.” Eddie had to bite down hard on his tongue to resist saying, something stupid because of the big fat crush he had on the other boy. Steve was sick as a dog right now he didn’t need flirting, he needed medicine and to be in bed. If the closest to comfort he could provide was a functioning heater then he was going to fix a heater. “Alright, I’ll be back soon,”Eddie said, grabbing his keys off the counter, “resist the urge to turn into a popsicle before then, princess.” ~ Eddie exited the store sliding into his van tossing the plastic bags onto the passenger seat, and to-go cup with something warm into his cup holder.
He knew Steve didn’t ask for anything but he couldn’t in good conscience leave the other boy as sick as he was without some supplies. Rolling into the parking lot of Family Movie, he hopped out of his van with snagging his items. Shouldering the door as his hands were full, he was met with the sight of Steve leaning over the computer as a customer just laid into him about something. There really was no sympathy in this town for anyone, not even for the sick. “I’b sorry sir, we dod’t have that tape id stock,” Steve told the man in his best customer service voice, “I cad help you fidd adnother tape, or you cad leave your codtact idforbatiod.” The man opened his mouth but before he could say anything Eddie butt into the conversation, at least there was one good thing about having the reputation of town freak.
“The man says they don’t have the movie in stock, so back off.” Eddie said, watching the man visibly pale when he saw him scrambling to get out of the store. “You kdow you’re bad for bussidess Mudson…”Steve said, but Eddie could see that he was visibly relieved that the customer was gone. “Not my fault that guy was making an ass of himself.” Eddie said, pushing the to-go cup at Steve before unloading his haul. “What’s all of this?” Steve asked, taking the cup curling around it’s warmth, as he watched Eddie unload the plastic bags. There was tissues, medicine, cough drops, and a glass thermometer. “Look I know you said you didn’t need anything, but I disagree,” Eddie said, removing the thermometer from the packaging, “and before asking no I didn’t buy all this on Family Video’s dime, this is all out of pocket.” “That…” Steve started rubbing his face with his hands, “actually bakes me feel worse, at least let me pay you back for sobe of this.” “Don’t even think about it,” Eddie said, finishing reading the instructions on the thermometer sticking it in Steve's mouth before he could protest, “just be a good boy and keep this under your tongue for a few minutes, while I work on your heating problem.” It was a little fun watching Steve’s brain short circuit in real time when Eddie called him a good boy, but he didn’t linger long he still had a heater to repair. Eddie made quick work of repairing the heater replacing the broken part with the new one, and with one flip of a switch the heater whirred to life. “Never thought I’d say this Mudsod,” Steve said, removing the thermometer setting it on the counter, “but I thigk you’re by hero.” Eddie felt a warm flush creep up his face at Steve’s words, his heart thrumming in his chest as he busied himself with the thermometer. “Jesus Steve, do you do anything in halves?” He mumbled when he saw the reading, “I bet you didn’t even take anything this morning.” When he didn’t receive a reply he looked up at the other boy.
Steve wasn’t listening as he rubbed the heel of his palm into his nose, mouth hanging open slightly as his breath hitched, “Hhhhhh…” “You look ridiculous, just sneeze already.” Eddie rolled his eyes, tearing open the tissue box pressing a few into Steve's hand. He snagged the tissues burying his nose into them, “ ‘TSCHH! ‘TSCHHUUu! Hh’DKXnsh!” Snapping in half nearly hitting his head against the counter with three harsh sneezes. “Jesus…”Eddie said, measuring out medicine while Steve blew his nose, “there’s really no one else to cover for you.” “No,” Steve croaked, taking the medicine from Eddie downing it like a shot, “ it’s usually just be add Robid…add Keith but God knows where he is…” “Jeeze…”Eddie mumbled, “have you even had a break, like at all today?” Steve shook his head, regretting it when it made him a bit light headed forcing him to grab onto the counter. “Look, give me your vest,” The metal head said, holding his hand out to take it, “let me man the counter for a bit, go take a break, finish off your coco, let the medicine kick in.” “I dod’t think I’b, allowed to do that.” Steve answered, eyeing Eddie warily, still clearly needing some convincing. “Steve, we're practically alone in the store, who's gonna know,” Eddie told him, still holding his hand out expectantly, “come on babysitter, let someone fuss over you for a change.” Steve didn’t feel like arguing so he relented, shrugging off Eddie’s jacket before handing over his family video vest. “Thirty bidutes, that’s all I’b takigg,” He told the long haired man pointedly, “dod’t let be stay back there ady logger, clear?” “Crystal.”Eddie answered, sliding on the green vest watching the other boy leave disappearing into the back room.

Note
I NEED Steve reacting to Eddie’s kitten sneezes.
lmao don't we all. please enjoy a humble 1.8K fic, written straight from my goddamn soul because im insane about these two :)
It's beyond late when Steve pulls up to the Munson trailer, almost breathless with worry, shaking with the amount of pure anxiety and adrenaline in his system right now. He hates this, so much more than words will ever be able to express. The Upside Down has a special way of fucking with his psyche, pulling everything he's worked so hard to push down up to the surface and letting it breathe for the first time in years, life regained even though it was buried long ago. But for them, buried never really seems to mean dead, does it?
He pulls his Members Only jacket tighter around himself, the normally-calming night breeze biting into him. April in Hawkins is no joke, with the temperatures tending to be pleasantly cool during the day and plummeting back down during the night. As he approaches the trailer, he notices that most of the lights are still on, meaning that Eddie might still be awake. At least Steve won't be waking him up.
Three knocks on the door are all it takes for him to hear movement from inside the trailer, and he breathes out a sigh of relief as Eddie's footsteps move closer to the door. "Uncle Wayne? I thought you weren't going to be back until Thur—" He cuts himself off as soon as he sees Steve standing there, obviously taken aback. To his credit, though, his recovery is swift, even as tension bleeds into his limbs. "Oh, uh, hi. What're you... what are you doing here?"
"I'm sorry," Steve starts, drinking in the sight of Eddie. It's a relief to see him like this, messy-haired and in baggy pajamas and breathing, "for barging in on you. I just... I needed to make sure you were okay."
As soon as the words leave his mouth, he realizes how stupid they sound. He could have just picked up the phone and called him, there was no need to drive all the way over here, not really, but Steve needed to see. To confirm Eddie's safety with his own eyes.
Eddie stares at him for a moment, before nodding, a sad smile tugging at his lips. "Yeah, I get that. Do you want to come in? It's a bit of a mess since I was cleaning, but the couch is fine." He lets Steve lead the way before following, closing the door behind the two of them and locking it, like he doesn't expect Steve to leave for a while. "Are you alright?"
Steve laughs humorlessly, sitting on the couch and looking down at his clasped hands. "No, not really."
To his surprise, Eddie wastes no time taking a seat next to him. "Do you, I don't know, maybe want to talk about it? I've been told I'm a good listener."
"And who told you that?"
"Most of the people who actually talk to me," Eddie says, shrugging. "My uncle, for one. Gareth. Dustin. And, uh, that's kind of it."
Steve leans back, turning his head so that he's looking at the other man. Eddie's not quite looking at him, in a similar position to Steve's just moments previous, his blank gaze transfixed on a bottle of cleaning spray that he must have left on the coffee table. "That's still not a lot."
"Not a lot of people wanted to talk to me even before I was a fugitive, Harrington."
"Fair point," Steve concedes. "Are you sure? I don't want to, like, crash your night or whatever."
Eddie scoffs, finally glancing over at Steve, even if it just lasts for a second. "Don't worry, you're not crashing anything. So far, it's just been a party between me and the dust bunnies." At Steve's tired expression, he sobers slightly. "It can wait until tomorrow, seriously. Besides, I wasn't going to be sleeping anyway."
He brings his legs up to sit in lotus style, and weirdly enough seems comfortable in it, relaxing against the back of the couch. His slumped posture causes his T-shirt to practically swallow him. It depicts the Metallica logo, because really, what else would Eddie sleep in? His sweatpants even have tiny bolts of lightning printed all over them. "What's bugging you?"
"The Upside Down," Steve tells him, averting his gaze again, absently cracking his knuckles, one by one, as he speaks. "I don't know if you've felt it, too, but it, like... it plays with your mind, man. Makes you remember things you don't want to, things you didn't even think you could remember anymore. And I don't know, I guess I've just been a bit paranoid about it all."
"I know what that's like." He glances over, sees Eddie with that far-off look again, and looks away. "Hell, I haven't slept in almost six days because of the nightmares." His nose twitches, and he inhales sharply, breaths stuttering with what Steve assumes to be emotion. "It's all just on repeat, right? Childhood memories combined with everything that happened, warping until they're the same fucking thing and—"
"—there's no escape," Steve finishes. "Yeah. It's exactly like that."
Silence stretches between the two of them, oddly comfortable, until Eddie breaks it with a sudden gasp. "hh'hg'nxt! gKT! hih'hh'kXsht!"
"Bless you," Steve tells him, taken aback by the suddenness of the triple. In the past week, he's gotten used to Eddie's common sneezes. Sort of. He's no longer surprised by the amount of them, at least.
"Ugh, sorry," Eddie mumbles, wiping at his nose with ringless fingers. "It's all this goddamn dust from cleaning. I'm listening if you still want to talk, I promise. Might just interrupt you a couple times."
"That's alright. I didn't really have much more to say, anyway, just needed someone to talk to." He shifts his weight, leaning forward and preparing to stand. "Sorry, again, for barging in on you."
Eddie looks up from where he's rubbing at his nose, which is already turning pink near his nostrils. "Wait, are you trying to leave?"
"Um, yes?"
"Dumbass," Eddie says, shaking his head affectionately. "Stay here. It's pitch-fucking-black outside, you really think I can let you drive in good conscience? I've got a couch and a bedroom, so take your pick. Or don't, I can always choose for you." With that, he turns away and crushes another set of sneezes into his shoulder. Steve's impressed. Only six since he's been here, which has to be some kind of all-time low. Eddie was a mess in the warehouse with all the dirt and dust. "h'kTt! ktsh! nGxt!"
Steve glances around, hoping there's a tissue box in the room, and comes up empty. "Bless you."
"Thanks." He stands up, pressing his bandana against his nose, and holds out his free hand to Steve. "I'm putting you in an actual bed, okay? No arguing."
"But—"
"That's an argument. You just sealed your fate," Eddie says, grabbing his hand when Steve doesn't go for his and dragging him down the hall. "My room."
Steve huffs out a breath, allowing Eddie to guide him for a few moments before an actual argument pops into his head. "You're just going to get worse if you stay in the living room, though. I mean, you said it yourself, it's all the dust."
Eddie actually pauses at that, contemplating, then keeps moving forward. "Well, then, I suppose we'll just have to share."
Oh.
See, the thing about Eddie Munson is that while he may be lacking in actual confidence in himself, once there's an idea in his mind, there's nothing anyone can do to talk him out of it. Meaning, Steve's about to spend the rest of the night in his bed. With him.
Jesus Christ.
"Fine," he manages, shrugging his jacket off the moment Eddie lets go of his wrist, intent on getting this over with as soon as possible. While a part of him is secretly thrilled at the prospect, the majority of him is anxious as hell. Steve's pretty sure he hasn't had a good night's sleep ever since he heard Chrissy was murdered.
Steve's still in pajamas, at least, so he doesn't have to borrow any of Eddie's clothes. He drapes his jacket over the back of the chair in the room, then glances over at his apparent bedmate for the night. "Are you coming?"
"Y-yeah, just gohhtta..." He breathes slowly for a couple seconds, knuckle pressed against his nose, but still loses the fight. "Shit, fuck, oh my GohhdT'sh! gxt'uh! mpt'shh!"
"Stop stifling. For the love of God, how many times do I have to tell you this? You're just going to make it worse," Steve says, walking over to the bed and lifting the covers. Maybe this won't be so bad.
Eddie stares at him for a second, nose still twitchy. "You know what, you're bossy. Has anyone ever told you that before?"
"Sure," he says, with a private roll of his eyes before his tone softens. "Get in. You need to sleep too, Eddie."
"Yeah, yeah, I know." Eddie grumbles as he crosses over to the bed, grabbing a tissue on the way and quietly blowing his nose. There's a whole box of them on the floor, Steve realizes, carefully placed so that they're within easy reach, with a small wire trash can right next to them. "I'm glad you're staying."
He exhales slowly as Eddie turns off the lights. "I am, too," he admits to the ceiling.
"I'm glad that you're glad," Eddie says, sliding into bed next to him.
"Don't get all sappy on me now, Munson."
"Me? Sappy? Unheard of."
Steve laughs quietly, the last sound before they both start settling down. Now that he's in bed with the lights off, all the exhaustion he's been carrying around finally sinks into him, and he wants nothing more than to sleep. He's almost there, too, when Eddie suddenly crumples with an actual fit of uncovered sneezes.
"h'iTshh'uh! ik'tsCh! hih'kshh! kSHh! Fuck, sorry— h'isHh! ishH'uh!" He's panting by the end of it, sniffling back sudden congestion and barely even noticing what he's just revealed.
"Are you kidding me?" Steve asks, pushing himself up on his elbow. "You've been stifling all this time for that?"
He can only imagine the quizzical look Eddie's sending him. "Fuck, Eddie, that's adorable. You sound like a kitten. I mean, that's barely even different from when you stifle, Christ, why do you even bother?"
"Shut up," Eddie whines, rolling over so that he's facing Steve and poking him on the face, landing just to the side of the incredulous smile that's gracing his face. "Go to sleep."
Miracles upon miracles, he does end up sleeping through the night. And when he wakes up in the morning, Eddie is curled into his side, sinuses swollen and exhaling wheezily before Steve pulls him out of the dust-ridden trailer and into the fresh April air so that he can actually breathe.

Welcome to the very first fic in my werewolf au! This is sort of the first part in this au establishing the premises, and who knows this might actually end up being a long fic, lol. But if anyone has any ideas for branching off little side plots to this story, you just wanna drop by to give your thoughts or you have any questions feel free to drop by my inbox!
“Welcome to Jumpstart, how can we help you jumpstart your day?” Robin droned in her best customer service voice when she heard the little bell over the door jingle. Looking up from her magazine, it felt like her brain was short-circuited when she found a pretty girl standing across the counter from her. Her pretty green eyes scanned the coffee shop like she was looking for someone. It probably took Robin longer than it should have to realize that she was saying something. ”I'm uh...sorry can you repeat that?” Robin stumbled over her words, feeling a hot flush creep up her face.
“Oh!” The girl exclaimed her eyes landing on Robin almost like she'd just noticed that she was there, “I'm uh looking for someone...Steve Harrington?” Robin felt like her heart dropped, shattering on the ground when the girl asked for her co-worker. “He's in the back...I can go grab him...”She mumbled dejectedly, pushing the door open, “Hey Dingus, there's someone here to see you!” The girl stood there waiting patiently, anxiously winding one of her curls around her finger when Steve stumbled out of the back. Her eyes widened a little and she had to stifle a giggle in the back of her hand when she caught sight of him. Robin didn't blame her, Steve looked ridiculous. He had a thick wool beanie pulled so far down on his head that it nearly cover his eyes, despite it still being fairly warm out. A crisp white mask covered his mouth and nose.
All he was missing was a pair of shades to complete the look. “Julie?” Steve exclaimed his head tilted slightly like a confused dog blinking at her, “I though you weren’t supposed to be in town til Friday…” “It is Friday...” Julie gave Steve a dumbfounded look as he stared blankly at her before an embarrassed flush crawled up his face all the way to his ears. ”Is there somewhere we could talk in private?” She asked pointedly her eyes never leaving Steve, the man shrinking underneath his gaze. ”Break rooms free,” Robin intervened, “just don't spend too long making out because some of us actually have work to do...” Robin felt a little bad watching Julie's face turn beet red, trying to fumble out a response before glaring pointedly at Steve. “You. Break room. NOW.” Julie hissed through gritted teeth. ”Julie!” Steve yelped as the smaller woman pushed him through the door. ~ ”Are you insane!?” Julie hissed at him in hushed tones once they were safely behind the closed door, “Do you have any idea what day it is!!?” ”October first?” Steve answered with a sheepish little shrug, holding his hands up to protect himself when Julie grabbed a rag swatting him with it. ”Don't be a smart ass, Steven,” Julie ground out through gritted teeth, “it's a full moon, a blood moon! Christ, aren't you supposed to be the werewolf!!? ”Little hard to forget with the fangs, Jules!!” He told her, pulling back the mask so he could show off his pearly whites. ”Your eyes are yellow too, dumbass,” Julie snorted watching as Steve fumbled with his phone so he could look, “and I'm sure the beanie isn't just a bold new fashion choice...fuck I thought you called out of work?” ”There wasn't anyone to cover me...”Steve sighed, squinting at the phone screen examining his iris', “shit they really are yellow.” ”Yeah they are...do you have a pair of shades on you?” Julie ran her hand down her face exasperated. ”Couldn't find them this morning...figured it'd be fine...”Steve grumbled sliding his phone back into his pocket. “What gives you're normally more careful than this...” She shoved him lightheartedly with a huff, “I think I might have a pair in my truck you can borrow...how much longer is your shift?” “I get off before it gets dark if that’s what you’re asking,” Steve told her, leaning back against the wall, “no closing shifts for this guy.” They nearly jumped out of their skin when someone started banging on the door, Steve fumbling to pull his mask back on his face hastily. “Hey lovebirds,” Robin called out, “times up, come out.” Julie looked at Steve feigning a gag at the mention of lovebirds. “Get the sunglasses first,” She tossed Steve her keys, “don’t let anyone see your eyes got it.” Watching Steve fumble to catch the keys before nodding to her. They left the break room so quickly that Julie almost ran directly into a familiar dark head of hair, and stumbled backward a hand catching her before she fell on her ass. “Whoa there,” Eddie said, a cheeky little grin on his face that showed off his dimples nicely, “was he that bad?” ”Eddie Munson, you bastard,” Julie grinned, throwing her arms around the older man, burying her face in his chest taking in the scent of leather and cheap cologne, “I haven't seen you since...middle school, not rocking the buzz cut anymore?” ”Nah, got me a full lion's mane now!” Eddie pulled away slightly so he could shake his head showing on his long curly hair, “Birdie told me about you and Harrington...you know you can do better right?” ”Not happening, Eds,” Julie wrinkled her nose, sticking her tongue out, “Stevie and I are strictly friends.” The little bell over the door dinged announcing Steve's return, and Robin snorted. ”You know I didn't get it before but I really think the pink heart sunglasses tie the look together.” She poked fun at him, while Eddie doubled over cackling. Julie shot him an apologetic, feeling a little bad but they were the only ones she had on hand. ”Starting a new trend or just trying to win a fashion contest, Harrington?” Eddie jabbed at Steve joining in the ribbing, and Steve's face flooded with hot shame. Turning a lovely shade of pink that matched the glasses. ”Laugh it up, Munson, at least I have fashion.” Steve jabbed back, rolling his eyes behind the rose-colored lenses. ”Oh yeah because your collection of polo shirts just screams fashion, sorry I think I'll stick with my battle vest,” Eddie sniffed, thumbing at his nose, “you look like a gap model.” ”You think I could be a model?” Steve flashed a charming smile, smoothly bringing his hand to his chest feigning as if he'd received a genuine compliment from the older man. ”My mistake, Gap is too sophisticated, I heard baby gap is hiring.” Eddie looked up at Steve with a devilish grin on his face. Steve felt like his face was on fire as he opened his mouth to retaliate. ”Enough, with the pissing contest, I'm drowning over here, ”Robin call out from where she was making drinks, “you're supposed to be on the register, Steve.” Steve's mouth snapped shut. It didn't matter anyway since Eddie's attention wasn't on their conversation anymore. He was using his wrist to scrub at his nose now turning it a lovely irritated shade of pink. ”You good, Eds?” Julie asked, but Eddie only held up a finger pausing for a moment. His mouth hung open slightly, eyelids at half mast as his chest swelled slightly with hitching breaths. ”Hhih'! Ih'GXSHht!” He sneezed off to the side, pinching his nose between his fingers so that he could rub at it with a little squish. “Gh...sorry about that...probably allergic to Harrington's shitty cologne.” Eddie nodded in Steve's direction. ”I don't wear cologne, asshole.” Steve grumbled, passing off an order to Robin before going back to the counter to take another order. “Can't be much else...sndf,” Eddie knuckled as his flushed nostrils, “I'm only all-heh allergic to pollen, your shitty colo-hhh-cologne...and dogs.” ”Oh, I forgot you were allergic to dogs...”Julie started covering her mouth with her hand, as Steve's head snapped towards her nearly dropping the drink in his hand. ”Yeah, wha-hah...what does that have to do with anything?” Eddie snuffled thickly into the back of his wrist. Swiping at his nose. ”My old roommate in Cali had a dog, and I haven't gotten a chance to wash the fur off my clothes!” Julie answered a little too quickly, “It's probably what's setting you off...is what I'm saying?” Eddie gave her an odd look which quickly turned hazy with the need to sneeze. “Hih’IH’GSShxt! ‘GXXSHht! ‘XSHhtiew! HIh’GSHIEW!!!” He pulled his bandanna out of his pocket pressing it to his leaky nose. “gh…shit sorry I gotta get out of here, later.” He gave a little wave while taking his coffee before dipping out of the coffee shop.

Dropping my own E/ddie snz headcannons! Some of these are inspired by other people (chech out @dontfeeltoohot and @sleptwithinthesun for some other headcanons and some great fics!)
He's allergic to dust, mold, cats, most types of pollen and perfumes. Scented candles get to him as well.
He's pretty photic, to the point that usually when he wakes up he sneezes because of the change of light.
His immune system is surprisingly good, he rarely gets sick. When he does get sick he's prone to losing his voice.
Sneezes in stifled triples (we just all agree on this it seems lol) though when he really gets going the fits slowly become longer and longer.
Not a super shy sneezer, but will get embarrassed if he interrupts people too much. Cursed quite often after sneezing though.
That's all I have for now!

Of course Anon! I’m setting it in this AU I have ! I hope you enjoy!
Warning for spice 🌶️🌶️
*~*~*~*~
Eddie lay on his back on their picnic blanket, arm draped over his eyes to block the sun. He was smiling, as was Chrissy, the both of them stuck in pure serendipity.
Eddie sniffled. He’s been doing a lot of that since they’d stepped outside and it certainly piqued Chrissy’s interest.
She gently nudged Eddie’s shoulder with her foot from where she was sitting.
“Why so sniffly, handsome?”
“Snff forgot my allergy meds this morning. Just tickly.”
She’d been weaving a flower crown out of grass and little flowers for a while. A wicked smile crossed her face as she flipped over onto her stomach facing him, feet kicked up behind her.
“I think I can help with that tickle…” she purred, twirling one of the flowers between her fingers.
Eddie moved his hand away from his eyes to quirk an eyebrow at her inquisitively.
The blonde slowly traced the petals of the flower over and around Eddie’s nose. He playfully pushed her hand away, laughter quickly turning into hitching breaths.
“Chris I’m ghhh.. I’m gonna.. e’tSCH!! H’rsSHH! Eh’iishIEW!”
With each sneeze, he sat more upright, propped against an elbow.
“Bless you.” She bit her lip smiling.
“You’re a menace, Chrissy Cunningham.”
She moved swiftly, straddling her boyfriend and giggling as she brushed some of his hair out of the way.
Now it was his turn to smile, looking down bashfully and scrubbing at his nose.
“Hey.” She lifted his chin so he was looking at her. “Let me.”
She flipped the flower around and slowly inserted its stem into Eddie’s nose - methodically hitting the sensitive walls.
His face scrunched, lips parted as his nostrils flared over and over before he pitched forward sneezing openly into a hovering hand.
“Tsch! Eh’tsch! H’etSCHiew!”
“Aww bless you.” She smiled, heart beating faster.
She pulled his head into her shoulder and felt him press into the crook of her neck.
“H’xxt! N’xxT! T’szIEW!”
She gasped a moan, feeling the spray of the last sneeze across her neck.
Eddie laughed, “m’baybe it’s a good thing I forgot m’by allergy pills.”
She smiled again, moving to unbuckle his pants.
“Wait. Not here.” He motioned to the hiking trail nearby with a flick of his head.
“Then let’s take this picnic to go. I’m ready for dessert.”

Hey there @hitchqueen I’m your Secret Santa!!! I wrote you this saucy little fic, about a sneezy allergic Eddie getting teased by his boyfriend Steve! I hope this is what you were looking for, and a bit thanks to @softsnzstuff for putting this together! 18+ only! No minors beyond this point!!!!  ~ Steve glanced up again when he heard Eddie’s breath hitch for the hundredth time in an hour, glancing at his boyfriend over his glasses. The older man was hunched over his binder working on a Campaign…or at least was trying to work on a Campaign. Eddie had been struggling with allergies spending most of the morning holding back sneezes, but now he wanted to sneeze it seemed like his poor nose was going on strike. It was driving his boyfriend nuts and it was driving Steve nuts. He eventually gave a frustrated grumble, shoving the binder aside and tossing his pen on the bedspread. In favor of having both his hands free to scrub at his irritated pink nose. “Eds come here,”Steve huffed out a laugh watching his boyfriend glare at him from his place on the bed, “come on…let me help, baby.” Eddie pouted, but he got up moving to the couch with Steve sitting down with a plop, “You’re just doing this beca-hah’hih’...because you like to see me all itchy and sneezy.” He rubbed his itchy pink nose in circles. “That may be true…”Steve trailed off a bit, taking a moment to pull his boyfriend into his lap so he could have better access to his flushed pink nostrils, “but I also hate seeing you so miserable.” “My knight in shining arhih-armor…gh!” Eddie scrubbed his nose with his wrist, “screw ihhhh-it get this ithihhhch out of mby dnose…sndf.” “Your wish is my command…”Steve cupped his boyfriend's face in his hands, letting his thumbs ghost over Eddie’s sinus as his breath hitched wildly. “Ohhhhuh that itches…”Eddie whined his pink nostrils flickering and flaring. Steve hummed, using his blunt nails to trace Eddie’s wide nostrils teasing the rims of his nostril, the hot pink flesh squirming underneath his gentle touch. Not enough to tip him over the edge just enough to tease him. “Steeeeve…”Eddie whined, rubbing his itchy pink nose against the younger man’s knuckles, huffing at his boyfriend with a watery glare. “Alright, alright,”Steve laughed, pressing a kiss to his boyfriend’s cheek, “I’ll stop teasing…” He traced his blunt nail down Eddie’s septum one last time before ducking under the couch. He slid a small box from under the couch that contained a few items that Steve knew Eddie was allergic to, letting his boyfriend choose from them. Inside was a small sample size cologne bottle, a feather that had been collecting dust, and a single lily. Eddie looked over his selection with watery eyes, absentmindedly rubbing his nose. Plucking the single feather from the box, twirling it in his finger before handing it to Steve with an amused little gleam in his eyes, “Do yohuhhh-your worst baby…” That was all the permission Steve needed to start tracing Eddie’s nose with the feather, doing figure eights on his trembling nostrils. “Hihh’huhh’ihhh!”Eddie’s breath hitched widely as the feather brushed over his nose igniting the burning itch deep in his nostrils. He felt the feather slip into his nose, the dusty feather twirling around brushing the edges of his sinus’, chest swelling with large breaths. A single strand brushed against a particularly sensitive spot in his left nostril and something in him finally snapped. “Hih’ihGXSHiew! Hah’IHGSHIIEW! Hih’ihh…gh.”Eddie scrubbed his itchy pink nose in little circles, the tickle continuing to tease his poor sensitive nose. “Not so rough, Ed’s…”Steve cooed, gently tugging Eddie’s hands away from his face, so that he could rub his nose for him. Feeling his nostrils squirm underneath his touch. “Hih’GXXsht!”Eddie stifled a sneeze against Steve’s finger tips with a whine, mashing his hot pink nostrils against his finger tips, “...ghh sorry ‘bout that…” “ S’okay baby…”Steve murmured, a flush creeping up his face when Eddie stifled a sneeze against his fingers. “Mmm…I guess it’s a good thing that you like this…”Eddie hummed, watching the younger man's face turn a lovely shade of pink as he took the feather from his hand. Using it to tease his irritated nose. “Hah’ehhh…”He squinted, feeling his chest swell with itchy breaths as Eddie teased his own nose doing his best to hold back, watching Steve squirm. Eddie sniffled thickly a bit of fluff getting suctioned into his wide nostrils before letting loose, “Hah’AHSHiew!! ‘ESSshiew!!! HEH’ISSshiew!!!...gh” He flopped against the couch, with a stuffy sigh, panting. “That was quite the show baby…”Steve cleared his throat, using a couple of tissues to get him cleaned up, “think it’s time for some allergy meds.”
He replaced the feather sliding the box back underneath the couch before getting up to go grab the allergy meds.
Bringing a wet washcloth with him, Steve used it to wipe down Eddie’s itchy face, shaking out a couple of pills pressing them into his boyfriend's hand. “Yeah I think it’s time for some meds and a nap…”He murmured. “Cad’t gotta fidish the cabpaigd…”Eddie answered stuffily blowing his nose into the tissues Steve held to his nose, taking the medicine with a sip of water.
“Your next campaign isn’t for a few days…”Steve combed the older man’s hair back away from his face, pulling him back onto the couch with him so he could lay down, “you got time to take a nap with me.”
Eddie didn’t put up much of a fight, slumping against Steve’s chest letting his eyes slip closed before his body fully relaxed with a stuffy little snore.

Trying something new...
A continuation of 'Stubbornness is key'.
Giant Steve x giant Eddie x tiny male reader
------------
(Y/N) had been hanging around Eddie more since he rescued them, and had even begun coming to Eddie and Steve's shared apartment. Not that Steve was complaining, they barely took up any space. But everytime he sees (Y/N) he's reminded of what Eddie did.
The image of his tiny body sticking out from between the metalhead's lips was burned into his mind.
He can't help but think about how he was able to feel the tiny man resting in Eddie's stomach.
Eddie had been so casual about it.
Steve shakes his head free of that train of thought. He just needed to forget about it, it was in the past.
There's no way he's going to be able to work on his paper while he's distracted like this. Sighing, the teen stands up front his desk and heads for the door. He heads out into the kitchen to refill his glass. Making it to the kitchen, the human pauses in the doorway to watch the tiny being climbing the ladder Eddie had drilled into the counter.
He hadn't even been aware they had come over today.
He takes a few steps into the room as (Y/N) reaches the countertop, he greets them softly as he nears the sink. "Oh" they gasp softly, turning to acknowledge him "hi Steve" the tiny smiles softly. The sound of running water fills the room as the glass fills .
(Y/N) makes his way towards the little bowl of treats Eddie kept out for when their smaller friends visited. "Study got you hungry?" Steve asks with a friendly smile as he shuts off the water, turning to face the tiny as he leans against the counter. "Stress eating" they give a huffed laugh and Steve gives a small chuckle "understable."
(Y/N) had known Steve was home, Eddie had mentioned the brunette had been in his room all day writing a paper due for the end of the week. So he shouldn't have been suprised by the giant's appearance, but maybe that was more so to do with the fact that Steve was shirtless. Still he's a respectful tiny, his dad had raised him right and so (Y/N) kept his eyes on Steve's face.
"So, how goes being friends with the freak?" They both laugh at the tease. He had quickly learnt that Steve wasn't who he had been before, and that he was in fact, pretty chill to be around. "It's good" the tiny grins shyly, biting into the chocolate they had chosen.
Things were going really well. The two had grown closer since the incident, spending most days together. Just hanging out as friends do. Sometimes he would stay the night and Eddie would fall asleep with them curled up on his chest with his hand resting over them. All of which only made his crush on the human grow stronger.
He was hopelessly smitten for the goofy metalhead.
Steve takes a long drink from his glass as he debates what to say next. He wants to ask about that day, incident. How had it felt? What did they feel? He can't understand why he's so hooked on what they did.
"So" he starts swiping his tongue across his bottom lip as he pauses "I'm glad what happened hasn't put a damper on your guys friendship." Not exactly as smooth as he was hoping to phrase the question. (Y/N) cocks his head to the side with a questioning hum. "Y'know with Eddie storing you and all that."
Steve watches the tiny's cheeks warm with their blush at the mention of what they let Eddie do. "Yeah, no. I'm happy too" he smiles softly "I was...it was a lot" he gives an awkward laugh. "Honestly thought I might never be able to look him in the eye again" Steve gives a chuckle as he takes another sip of his water.
Steve taps his fingers against the counter trying to look nonchalant. They're already on the subject...he may as well ask him. "What was it like?" He watches them with a curious gaze. They had looked so unsure between Eddie's lips, but then he had agreed to stay stored for the night at Eddie's request. Which he wouldn't have done if it hadn't been comfortable to some capacity.
(Y/N) blinks, taken aback by the question. "Oh um" he mumbles, unsure of how to respond. (Y/N) shifts from foot to foot under Steve's gaze. The latter begins to open his mouth to tell him 'not to worry about it', 'to just forget he asked'. But the tiny is already speaking. "It felt...strange. like a weird massage when-." He was tasting me. "You know." He plays with the hem of his shirt. "It was...nice. Like I felt safe."
The tiny is pink cheeked by the end of his response. Steve shifts, watching them curiously "did you enjoy it?" He asks feeling braver in his questioning. (Y/N) flushes at his words, but still he nods "I did."
"Would you do it again?" Steve asks, placing his glass in the sink. He tries to sound only mildly interested. This time there's a pause and Steve looks to find the tiny has shrunk in on himself, shyly. "Yeah, I would" he answers, seeming embarrassed of his admittance.
Steve wets his lips, biting at the skin as he debates what he's about to admit. But it only seems fair. "I can't stop thinking about it." No turning back now. "How I could feel you in there" just a faint bump beneath Eddie's skin. "I know it's a lot to ask but, could I try storing you?"
It goes silent. The two locked in a staring match. (Y/N)'s eyes are wide with shock, his little mouth hanging open just the slightest bit. There's a lump in Steve's throat where his heart has lodged itself. His mouth is dry as he waits for some kind of reaction, some indication of what's going on in the tiny's head.
Finally he manages to pull himself together enough to give a slow nod. "Yeah" his voice is so small and yet oddly loud in the silence of the kitchen. Steve blinks in suprise. He hadn't actually expected them to agree to his request. "Really?" His shock shows on his face, though there's a glint of excitement in his eyes.
"Yeah."
(Y/N) definitely found Steve attractive, not to mention he's a sweet, funny guy. He has no fear that the giant would harm him or ignore him if he wanted to back out. He can't help but feel a small sliver of worry. Things had been going so well with Eddie, they had grown closer. Bonded. Would that change when Eddie inevitably finds out that he let Steve store him?
He's brought out of his thoughts at the gentle pinch of Steve's thumb and forefinger on the back of his shirt. He's careful as he plucks the tiny up to let them dangle before his face. "Thank you" he smiles shyly, eyes darting over their tiny form. He receives a stiff nod, those wide eyes never leaving their own.
Tilting his head back, Steve carefully lowers the tiny into his open mouth. Their legs slide against his tongue, spreading their taste across its plush surface. His lips close around (Y/N)'s hips with a soft hitched breath.
It's unlike anything he's ever done before.
He can feel the way they shift slightly on his tongue. Shy, uncertain. It has his heart racing. Holy shit, this is happening. Pink rises in his cheeks as he swipes his tongue against the tiny, shuddering a small exhale at the tiny's taste.
So sweet and light.
Delicious.
"Is this okay?" Steve slurs around (Y/N)'s body where he rests in the giant's maw. They squirm at the buzz that Steve's words send through their body. "Yeah, it's fine" they mumble out, unable to look at his face.
Steve's eyes wander to the reflection in the glass cabinet and something inside of him preens at the sight of (Y/N)'s body sticking out from between his lips.
So perfect.
Just a soft weight against his bottom lip.
"Hey (Y/N) so I was thinking..."
Steve turns his attention to the kitchen's doorway in shock, the tiny makes a small noise of suprise at the sudden movement.
His roommate, Eddie, stands in the doorway. Eyes wide in suprise as he takes in the sight before him. Steve leans back against the counter, (Y/N) sticking out from between his full pink lips.
"Eddie it's not what it looks like, I let him" (Y/N) tries to explain, looking the metalhead upside down. Eddie says nothing as he slowly makes his way across the room, his eyes never leaving the two.
He comes to a stop just in front of the jock. Steve's in shock and unsure of what to do. He wants to apologise to Eddie for trying to store his friend, but Eddie isn't focused on him right now.
"It's okay" the metalhead reasures his tiny friend, stroking a finger over (Y/N)'s head. His eyes flick up to meet Steve's, the jock looks like a deer in headlights with those white brown eyes. "You get curious, big boy?" A small smirk tugs the corner of his lip up.
Steve makes a small noise in the back of his throat, getting a shiver from the tiny. "It's alright, I'm not jealous" he assures, there's a gleam in his eyes as he leans in to place a quick kiss on the top of the tiny's head. Pink rises in Steve's cheeks at how close those lips had been to his.
He's completely frozen as Eddie's hand comes to rest on his cheek. "I'd still like a taste though" he hums, big dark eyes flicking down to Steve's lips and the breathless tiny caught between them. Eddie moves slowly, giving Steve plenty of opportunity to back out or stop him but he doesn't.
Eddie's lips part to pass over (Y/N), pressing into Steve's lips as they come to rest on the tiny. Steve gasps but is quick to reciprocate the kiss. (Y/N) is held between the two, his upper half is sprawled out across Eddie's tongue and his lower half is trapped in Steve's mouth.
Eddie tilts his head pressing into Steve, his hand resting on the other man's hip. The metalhead's tongue slips down (Y/N)'s body, attempting to pull them into his mouth. Steve's eyes snap open with an offended noise, teeth lightly coming together to keep the tiny held in place. Eddie simply chuckles into the kiss.
(Y/N) gasps feeling Steve's teeth on his thighs, the cavern around him rumbling with Eddie's laugh. Steve's hand comes up to tangle in Eddie's hair as he deepens the kiss, jostling the tiny held between them.
The two kiss some more before Eddie finally pulls back, lifting a hand to caress (Y/N)'s face softly. The way he's looking at them makes them want to melt.
And don't they look perfect like this? Little mouth panting, so exhausted from the combined attention of himself and Steve.
Wonderful.
Eddie places his finger on the top of (Y/N)'s head, pushing the tiny into Steve's mouth completely. "There we go, handsome" he grins, his thumb brushing across Steve's lips.
His hand drifts down to push on Steve's chin, easing his head back. "Now swallow" he mumbles, moving to lay his palm over the jock's throat. (Y/N) gasps as their legs are caught by Steve's throat, dragging them down into his gullet. Eddie grins feeling them pass by, making such a lovely bump as they pass behind his hand.
"Holy shit!" Steve shudders feeling them pass through his chest, slipping deeper into him. An entire person. They drop into his stomach the brunette's breath hitches at the sudden tiny weight settling inside of him. "Woah" he mumbles, hands coming up to caress his abdomen. Eddie leans in to place his face beside Steve's. "A tiny fit for a king" Eddie hums in his ear as he moves to hold Steve's waist in a hug.
"Are you okay in there?" Steve asks as he stares down between their bodies at his stomach where (Y/N) now rests. "Yeah, I'm okay. How about you?" Oh that small voice tugs at his heart. "Feels good" he admits softly.
Eddie chuckles, taking Steve's hand and begins dragging him through to the living room. Once they reach it, Eddie pushes him down onto the couch. "Get comfy" he smiles, climbing onto the couch after him. "It's your first time, you're going to want a nap." Eddie kneels above Steve, leaning down to press a kiss to his forehead.
The metalhead then shuffles down the couch to lay down and press his ear to the man's abdomen. To which Steve goes beet red.
"Hey there, sweetheart" Eddie smirks against the warm skin of Steve's stomach. "Hi Eddie" comes the shy muffled voice from within. "You comfortable in there, darling?"
Steve cranes his neck to look down his torso, watching as Eddie talks to their tiny.
Wait.
Their tiny?
"Yeah... it's warm and comfy." Steve gasps as (Y/N) runs his hand against the stomach wall. Eddie hums, delighted with their response. "good" he kisses Steve's stomach and the jock freezes, cheeks darkening at the gentle affection.
Eddie isn't done praising them yet though. "You looked so pretty between Stevies lips" the metalhead teases "so perfect, wish I'd have been watching from the beginning." Both Steve and (Y/N) are red in the face at the compliments.
He presses lightly on Steve's stomach, able to feel the small lump (Y/N) makes beneath Steve's muscles. The jock gasps as (Y/N) is gently squished between his walls. "Such pretty men" Eddie compliments, his eyes flicking up to look at Steve as he grins.
(Y/N) squirms with the compliments, in turn earning a gasp from Steve and a wider grin from Eddie. "He was really gentle with me...you both were" the tiny replies. Eddie coos at the small voice "and you were so brave."
"How does it feel?" Eddie asks as he holds eye contact with Steve. "Safe" Steve positively melts at the tiny's admittance. (Y/N) doesn't even realise how much of an affect he's having on the giant.
Steve covers his blushing face with his hands whilst Eddie grins up at him. "How's it feel having him in there wriggling around?" He asks, pressing his hand a little firmer into Steve's abdomen again. "Feels so good right? Bet you feel pretty protective right now?" Steve's mouth falls open at the action, his cheeks somehow getting darker. "Big strong man keeping his little human safe?"
Eddie's enjoying himself, taking every opportunity he can to tease the two. Meanwhile Steve is still stuck on 'his little human'.
His crush, his human. So safe.
He doesn't understand why he feels so happy, so content with someone inside of him. He had just wanted to try it once...
But now he's not so sure it'll be a one time thing.
Of course, Eddie had been right. Steve ends up drifting with (Y/N) still tucked away inside, Eddie's head resting above them on his abdomen. It's the first good night's rest he's had in awhile.
"Steve?" (Y/N) calls out softly. "He's asleep, darling. Did you need something?" Eddie answers, a gentle murmur against Steve's skin. "Oh that's good" he replies. He knows Steve suffers with insomnia. "No, I just wanted to ask if he'd be alright with me taking a nap" Eddie hums against Steve's stomach.
"Get some rest love, I'll wake you when Steve's up." With that (Y/N) huddles up and quickly drifts off with Eddie stroking his thumb against Steve's stomach.

E/ddie M/unson having the most horrendous hayfever day. The sneezing is near constant. It's left him so exhausted and weak, his throat and eyes and nose so irritated he feels almost as though he's caught a terrible cold. He reluctantly makes himself some tea to drink, nursing the mug in his hands and breathing in the vapors. He feels ridiculous because he isn't actually sick and should be used to having fierce allergies by now.
He wants to lie down in bed, but again - it's just hayfever. Allergies are no reason to lie around - especially since he has weeks left of this seasonal suffering. So he gets up and tries playing guitar. It's a total waste of time - he keeps sneezing and interrupting his momentum, and he's constantly reaching for his bandana to dab and rub at his runny, pink nose.
He surrenders his guitar and decides instead to work on the D&D campaign he recently started. This goes no better - he keeps spraying his notes and binder with copious sneezing fits no matter how hard he tries to avoid it. He eventually drapes a soft blanket round his shoulders, for both the comfort and to smother his sneezes into, but after a while it's less him working on his campaign and more him sitting next to his campaign materials and muffling sneezes into a blanket-covered hand over and over again.
Throw in fetish AU E/ddie getting painfully turned on by his own sneezes, he realises he may as well cut his losses and get some kind of enjoyment out of his allergic misery. He spends the rest of the evening lazing around in bed and teasing out orgasms, stroking himself at his leisure and spraying sneezes unhindered down his naked torso. The sensation of the aerosol sneezed into the air gradually raining down on his heated skin pushes him over the edge more than once. He starts to experiment and see if he can get himself right up to the point of cumming before triggering a hands-free orgasm with a well-timed sneeze directed at his cock. He has plenty of time (and enough of a tickle in his nose) to try over and over again.

Twas a pleasure to assist as well as to send prompts 😈 Much excite for this
Sick Eddie in a bad mood, any AU?
Ahhhh thank you! I love this prompt 😭
This turned into MUCH more than I originally planned. This is a new AU (not sure what to call it yet), with modern Eddissy. Eddie is owner of Munson Automotive, Chrissy is a kindergarten teacher. Gareth, Jeff, Tim and Max all work at the garage, while Steve, Robin, Peter, and more work at the school.
TW: Brief mention of death/stroke. It is marked by ‘**’ before the paragraph!
I hope you all enjoy! And thank you @softsnzstuff for letting me babble about it and ask you opinions. I can’t wait to answer the prompts you’ve sent.
By the time Eddie’s making his way to his beat up van; and isn’t that ironic since he works on cars all day, he’s freezing cold, tired, achy, and wants to go to sleep. Tim had called out sick, though the manager hadn’t been surprised with how much he’d been coughing yesterday- uncovered. Gross. Jeff was still gone on vacation with his girlfriend, which left just himself, Max and Gareth.
Normally, they could handle it easily, the shop’s not that huge and most of their customers are regulars. But today Eddie’s tired, and he’d not been the best owner, letting the other two work on cars while he’d tried to get through paperwork. That had proved to be a challenge too, with the headache he’d been nursing half the day before Max had come in and shoved the tylenol bottle at him.
“You have that look. Just take the damn pills.”
Cranking the heat up and grumbling to himself, the mechanic shivers and reverses out of his usual parking spot, ignoring how Benny waves goodbye. Sniffles have been coming more and more frequently, and his skin feels oddly sensitive, as his jacket shifts against his clothes and rubs his arms uncomfortably. Brown eyes feeling heavy, Eddie rubs his face as he slows to a stop at the red light.
Bzz. Bzz. Bzz.
Incoming Call: Chrissy 👸🏼
Eddie taps his answer button and Chrissy’s voice comes over the vans speakers.
“Hey baby!” Her voice is far too chipper, and it somehow grates on his nerves.
“Hey Chris, what’s up?”
“Can you run by the store? I was going to make spaghetti tonight but ran out of onions.”
Every fiber of the musician wants to say no. He doesn’t want to go to the store and deal with traffic and people.
“Can we just do something dif-“
“Eddie, no, Jake’s coming over, remember? It’s Tuesday…”
And fuck. It is Tuesday, which is the day Chrissy’s little brother comes over for dinner. But really, what makes him so special that they have to have spaghetti?
“I…didn’t forget. But why do we have to have spaghetti? We have stuff to make Pad Thai…” Eddie starts making his way to the next lane over, already knowing deep down he’s going to have to go to the grocery store.
“That doesn’t sound good, plus Jake asked if we could have it.”
“Right, ok, I’ll be home soon. Text me a list,” the words come out abruptly and he ends the call before she can get another word in.
The amount of cars in the Whole Foods parking lot is rather ridiculous for a Tuesday night. Eddie still doesn’t understand Chrissy’s determination not to eat crap, and to try for all organic stuff, but she’s his wife, and he backs her on everything. Even $10 juices, apparently. He feels his phone buzz in his pocket as he walks inside, pulling his ‘Munson Automotive’ sweatshirt tighter to his frame, the frigid air whipping against his cheeks.
Grabbing a shopping cart, the long haired man sniffles and starts making his way through the sliding doors, pulling out his phone to see the list.
Onions
Tomatoes
Basil
Bread - for garlic bread
Pick some ice cream, love youuuuu! ❤️
Blinking, Eddie swipes at his nose and sighs, feeling the headache rebuild at the base of his skull, throbbing into his ears. It makes his entire head feel tight and he moves his jaw around, hoping to release some of the uncomfortable tension. It doesn’t help. He gets through the first few items, then a call from his wife has him pause at the end of the spice aisle.
“What’s up?”
“Hey, can you grab some more of the coffee creamer too?”
Nodding and forgetting she can’t see him, he tries to move out of the way for a middle aged woman, who goes the same direction.
“Excuse me..”
“Sorry, was just trying to step out of the way…”
The woman rolls her eyes and Eddie has the intense urge to flip her off. Instead he’s interrupted by Chrissy on the phone.
“-die did you hear me?”
“Creamer, got it,” he huffs, rolling his eyes, hanging up once she does the same.
As he rolls through the aisles trying to find what they need, he once again runs into bitchy-lady (he’s decided that’s her new name), who gives him a pointed look when he coughs into his arm, wincing at the sudden sore throat he’s now sporting. She moves in front of him to grab bread, knocking her cart with his and scoffing. He knows it’s childish, but he hits her cart back, maybe just a liiiiittle to hard, and she whips around.
“Is there a problem?”
“I don’t know, is there?” His eyebrow raises and he stands a little taller.
Eddie’s not a true confrontational guy. Sure he talks a big game, but he hates when people are angry or upset with him, and he’s a peacekeeper between his friends and band mates. So the fact he’s getting snippy with this middle aged Karen isn’t a good sign, but in the moment he can’t bring himself to care. Bitchy-Lady huffs and rolls her eyes, before giving him the fakest smile he’s ever seen.
“Of course not.”
Nodding, Eddie leans in front of the woman to grab the bread he and Chrissy use, sniffling and ignoring the noise from next to him, when he blocks her view entirely.
“Maybe we’ll bump into each other again,” he smirks, voice laced with sarcasm as he drops the bread into the cart and heads towards the freezer section, white knuckling the long handle bar.
Looking at the ice cream only makes him shiver harder. His sweatshirt sleeves are down over his fingers, brushing his chains as he looks at his options. Jake doesn’t like chocolate, and Chrissy hates vanilla. His brain whispers that they’re too picky but he waves the words away, even if he wants to agree. He goes with cheesecake instead, knowing both of the Cunningham’s enjoy it, even if he himself doesn’t. Not like he’s hungry anyway.
As he’s walking back out to his van with the bags, his phone buzzes again, but he ignores it, hands full. When it pauses and the restarts, the musician rolls his eyes and yanks open the passenger side door, setting the food down in the chair before yanking his phone out of his pocket.
“Yeah?” Eddie winces at the irritation in his tone.
“Can you grab orange juice too? We’re all out.”
“Fuckin’...yeah, that’s fine, just have to go back in. The ice cream will probably melt.”
Eddie doesn’t mean to be so prickly and sensitive, but everything is grating on his nerves, his body hurts, and Chrissy forgetting things is making him want to scream.
“Ice cream will be fine honey, it’s not like it’s hot outside.”
“See you soon,” the long haired man grumbles.
Twenty minutes later, Eddie’s entering his and Chrissy’s small but cozy house, all but slamming the door behind him. His nose won’t stop running, and really he should have grabbed a thing of tissues, but Christ knows he wasn’t going to go back in for a third time to the hellish landscape of Whole Foods. Walking into the kitchen, he can vaguely smell something being made, though he’s not sure what since he’s got half the ingredients in his hands.
With another shiver crawling up his spine, he sets the bags down and looks at his wife who’s in the middle of browning meat in a pan. Exhaustion feels like it’s weighing the long haired man down, so he sniffles, swipes at his nose, and then leans over to press a kiss to Chrissy’s head.
“Hey baby, got your stuff,” he gestures to the island in the middle of the room.
“Great! Can you work on chopping some onions for me? I want to get this stuff cooking before Jake gets here.”
“Chrissy...I need to shower, I’m gross from work.”
Normally, Eddie doesn’t mind helping in the kitchen, even if he’s come straight from work. Today he’s ready to fight back and disagree with everything everyone says, and the thought of a nice hot shower only makes the feeling intensify. The blonde turns to look at him with a furrowed brow, eyes sweeping him up and down.
“What?”
“...nothing. Jeez you’re grumpy today, was work alright?”
“It was fine. Look...I’m gonna take a shower, then I can come back and hel-”
“It’s fine, I’ll do it, just go get cleaned up,” she offers, looking like she’s barely containing an eye roll.
Not needing to be told twice, Eddie books it out of their kitchen and up the stairs to their bedroom, already dreading taking his sweatshirt off. By the time the bathroom is steamy from the showers hot water, the guitarist is starting to tremble again, bare skin exposed before he steps in and lets the spray hit him. The moan that drops from his mouth is embarrassingly loud.
He loses track of time. After washing his hair and body; making sure he doesn’t smell like car oil and exhaust, he leans against the wet tiles and shuts his eyes, focusing on the feeling of the water running against his back. Eddie’s not exactly sure how long he’s been zoning out, but a knock at the ensuite door makes him jump, adrenaline releasing into his body.
“Jesus Christ Chrissy! What the hell?!”
“...sorry? Hurry up, Jake’s almost here. You’re taking longer than I do.”
The words make Eddie bristle, but he can’t place why, exactly. When she’s gone, the twenty seven year old coughs and rubs at his nose, harder this time, the steam knocking congestion loose. A tickle is teasing his sinuses, and his big brown eyes flutter while the water starts to grow cool.
“hhiiGkSH’ew! hihKTschew! snf! iiGhXshEW!” He doesn’t bother covering, instead just aiming his head down and away from his body.
Stepping out of the shower means the cold that’s been clinging to his bones; soothed only by the hot water, is now back, making him shiver. Eddie dries himself off, brushes his hair as well as he can, then heads to get dressed, towel low on his hips. Sweatpants and an old shirt of Wayne’s sounds the coziest, but with Jake coming, he begrudgingly slips into jeans instead, pulling a sweatshirt on over a threadbare Blue Öyster Cult tee.
Chrissy has her soft, pink sweater on she’s had for years, and when he gets close enough, the mechanic wraps his arms around her and rubs his face into the material. It’s warm and soft and feels unbearably comforting.
“Eddie baby, I need to finish seasoning the sauce,” she says, and though her tone is light and a giggle follows, the man drops his arms by his side, feeling like a scolded child.
“When’s your brother getting here?”
“Any second…are you ok? You seem on edge…or upset. Are you sure nothing happened at work?”
A strand of hair gets fiddled with as he shakes his head, swallowing and wincing.
“Tim called out, but it was fine. Mostly did paper work while Red and Gareth worked on cars,” he shrugs, rubbing at his septum with the crook of his finger subtly. “Jeff gets back in a couple of days, though he probably won’t shut up about Denv-“
A knock at the door interrupts him, and Chrissy beams, setting the wooden spoon she’s been using to stir the pot of sauce down. Eddie makes sure she doesn’t see the annoyed look he can feel his features make, not wanting to upset her or make her think he doesn’t want Jake around. He enjoys Chrissy’s little brother, even if he’s a bit loud and rambunctious. Eddie can’t blame him- if he grew up in a stuffy, pretentious home like the two of them had, he’d be far more of a terror than he is now, too.
Hearing the siblings exchange greetings, the long haired man rubs at his nose again, pressing it to the inside of his sleeve cuff, hoping to get rid of the itchy feeling. All it does is wipe up the slight mess that’s been accumulating around the edges of his nostrils. Now he’s going to need to wash his damn sweatshirt.
“Hey Eddie!”
“Hey man,” he nods at him, seeing the twenty three year old’s brought a bottle of wine.
The one time wine doesn’t sound appealing.
Rolling his neck around, an ache catches when he leans to his left, right around his lymph nodes. Pressing his fingertips to the area, he scrunches his nose up and wishes Jake was gone. Chrissy could give him a massage where he must have tweaked his neck while working.
Feeling chilled, he goes and fiddles with the temperature, bumping it up a degree. As if Chrissy has a second sense for anything to do with the thermostat (he swears she does), she pokes her head down the hall and narrows her eyes.
“If you’re messing with that it better be to turn it down!”
“One degree up won’t hurt you,” he shakes his head, resisting the urge to roll his eyes.
“It’s not even that cold! Put on socks if you’re cold.”
Eddie runs a hand down his face, trying to remember this is just one of her things, the temperature of the house. He’s always been cold natured, and while he’s normally ok being slightly cold, tonight he’s far too shivery. He walks back down the hall towards his wife, ignoring her look of indignation.
“Eddie!”
“Chrissy!” He retaliates in a mocking tone. “I’m cold as hell, ahhnd-snf! and I don’t want to freeze my balls off….” The last words linger in the air only half spoken, as his nostrils twitch and he brings the crook of his arm to his face.
“ihGkTSCHuhew! hih’IHTchew! snfsnf! Sohhr-ihKSHuhEW! God, sorry,” Eddie sniffles wetly, rubbing his nose against his arm quickly before dropping it.
“Bless you. Put another shirt on, it’s going to get warm soon anyway, now that we have an extra body taking up space.”
“Jesus Christ, Chrissy! It’s not that big of a deal!”
The words are louder than he means them to be, his body is tense and his muscles ache from the sheer stress of it all. He doesn’t understand why she can’t just let one degree go. He feels like an ice block, and maybe putting on socks or another shirt would help, yeah, but now this is about getting what he wants.
Chrissy’s eyes widen slightly, and her left eyebrow raises, her arms now crossing in front of her chest. She looks entirely too ‘mom ready to yell at her child’ but Eddie doesn’t care. Another shiver wracks his frame and he too folds his arms in front of him, though it’s more to try and preserve heat than anything else.
“Everything okay?” Jake’s voice rings out, then the man walks to the hallway, looking at them with a furrowed brow.
“Everything’s peachy, Jacob.”
A scoff from Chrissy has both men looking in her direction.
“Really? You’re going to put your storm cloud over Jake too? If you’re in that bad of a mood, why don’t you just take a few minutes? Because you’re putting me in a bad mood, when I’ve had a good day.”
Snapping his mouth shut and pulling his lips in a thin line, Eddie nods. Sniffling, he bites at his thumbnail and then after a moment he speaks, breaking the tense silence.
“Fine. Don’t wait up for dinner, I’m not hungry anyway.”
With that, the twenty seven year old turns around, then walks into their bedroom, shutting the door behind him. If it’s a little more forceful than usual, no one says anything, at least not that he can hear. Once he’s alone, the musician lets out a breath and his entire body sags, fight leaving him. His throat hurts, his head hurts, his entire body aches. He’s starting to not be able to breathe through his nose and his sinuses feel like they’re buzzing.
God damn it. If Tim’s gotten him sick he’s being banished from the garage, Eddie decides as he crawls into their bed, pulling the covers close to him. It’s dark enough outside in late November that the room is practically pitch black now, which makes the sleep that's tugging at him come easily. He’s asleep in minutes.
Chrissy knew something was up the minute Eddie walked through the door that afternoon, his entire demeanor wrong- pent up and prickly. It’s apparent now, that maybe she should have asked Jake if they could reschedule, like Eddie had suggested hours prior. She doles out two plates; making sure to give her brother extra sauce, and then sits down across from him at the table they have near the kitchen.
“Is…he okay? I haven’t really seen him act like that,” Jake frowns, glancing over at the now empty hallway. “He’s not like that all the time is he?”
“No! No, he’s not, he never acts like this honestly,” the strawberry blonde sighs and twirls a noodle onto her fork. “I don’t know why he’s so grumpy today. I asked if something happened at work but he said it was fine.”
“Maybe he’s just having a bad day,” the blonde shrugs back, taking a large bite of his spaghetti.
“Yeah, probably,” the teacher huffs, dragging her foot on the ground beneath her seat.
It’s quiet for a moment as they eat, and then-
“It’s just…he doesn’t get upset over stuff like that. Sure he’ll be dramatic, but usually it includes him playing up theatrics and grabbing a blanket to wrap himself in. Not getting genuinely annoyed.”
Jake nods, listening and thinking.
“When did his uncle die, again? Maybe it’s close to that time? And he’s upset?”
“Wayne died nine months ago. So yeah, he could be upset, but not more so than usual, I wouldn’t think. I’m gonna let him have some time, and after we finish I’ll go check on him.”
When they finish talking and eating, Chrissy feels less wound up. She goes to take their plates but her brother puts his hand on hers, shaking his head.
“I got it. You go check on the rain cloud,” he teases, making her smile. He’s good at that.
“Fine. But just this once. You’re still a guest.”
“I’ve never been a guest in this house. But nice try sissy.”
Laughing, Chrissy heads down the hallway and towards the closed bedroom door, pausing outside of it to listen and see if she can hear anything that’ll tip her off on what her husband is doing. She assumes he’s watching tv or maybe writing lyrics, but it’s silent on the other side of the door. Holding the handle, she pushes the door open and freezes, eyes adjusting to the sudden darkness, making out his silhouette.
Eddie is hunkered down under their sheets and blankets, his sweatshirt hood up around his face, curls falling out from either side. Quietly; curiously, Chrissy walks to the left side of the bed and peers down at the mechanic, then sits on the edge of the bed, laying a hand on his shoulder.
“Eddie, baby?”
**
The brunette stirs and shifts, inhaling and exhaling through his mouth, a small noise making her heart swell at how soft he looks. Sometimes she forgets he’s not all rough and tumble, at least, she has the past few months. Wayne dying took a toll on him, on them, their marriage, the garage, everything. Her husband had shut down, stopped eating, stopped socializing, stopped doing anything but working.
And working, well…it had been Wayne’s garage. And everyone knew that it would be handed down to his nephew who’d worked there since he was sixteen, but no one expected it to be so soon. A stroke, the doctor had said, as she and Eddie stood in a quiet hallway, getting confirmation the fifty year old had passed. She’ll never forget the way her husband had gone white, how he’d grabbed onto her so tightly she thought he was going to actually pass out.
**
Rubbing Eddie’s shoulder gently, she gets the man to stir more, and as she leans over and turns the bedside light on, he opens his big brown eyes, blinking rapidly to adjust to the brightness. Now, she can see what’s going on, and why her husband’s been grumpy. His cheeks are flushed and there’s dark smudges under his too dull eyes, lips less pink than usual.
“Hey handsome,” she murmurs, pressing her palm against his forehead and then cheek, warmth pooling off of them.
“Hey.”
His voice is croaky, though she’s not sure if it’s from sleep or sickness. He holds in a cough, pushing it down, then sniffles and rubs his face with his hand.
“At least I know you’re grumpy because you’re sick, and not because of something that happened,” she says gently, fingers playing with a stray curl. “Scale of 1 to 10, how icky?”
**
It’s something Wayne used to do, when she; or once in a blue moon Eddie, would get sick, once he warmed up to her. With her own parents out of the picture, the older man practically adopted her as one of their own, even before she and Eddie were legally married. She can recall easily getting taken back to her husband's old trailer he still stayed in with his uncle- to watch over him of course, and how Wayne had come into the bedroom and asked her questions.
**
Eddie must recognize the words instantly when she asks them, because his eyes shut and he presses his lips together tightly.
“Seven.” His voice is wobbly, and when he looks at her again, there’s a wet shininess to his eyes.
“Ok, I’m going to grab the thermometer, and I’ll be right back. I love you Eddie.” Chrissy presses a kiss to his head, smiling when he nods.
“Love you too baby. Sorry I was such a jerk.”
“If you had told me how sick you felt I would have conceded just this once,” she teases, happy when she gets a tiny smile out of him.
“Thought I was tired. Pretty sure Tim got me sick.”
“Fire him.”
“Mm, thinking like a Munson,” he jokes, sniffling and swiping at his wrist.
“Thermometer and tissues. I’ll get Jake to run to the store for us. I’ll be right back ok? Just rest.”
“Guess for you I can do that.”
She giggles and heads back out to find her little brother, already planning on making soup and grilled cheese, making a mental list of what they’ll need.

could you pls write steve and eddie play wrestling and eddie is coming down with a cold and they keep having to pause their rough housing for eddie to sneeze and steve teases him about it
holy shit. this... kind of got away from me. not in length, but in, like, subtext and shit. and yeah i know this was supposed to be fun but whoops i tripped and spilled the angst. please enjoy a healthy 1.3K+ words of my brainrot :)
"How the hell are you this good at wrestling?"
Eddie grins, teeth bared, and grunts as he hooks Steve's leg with his own. "Trust me, when you spend most of your time on the ground in a fight, you learn to get really good at grappling," he says, barely even struggling to flip Steve and pin him to the ground, even though Steve has nearly forty pounds on him. "And I mean, like, really good."
"I can tell," Steve manages, panting. He closes his eyes for a second, letting himself go limp, before suddenly bringing his hands up to Eddie's chest and shoving, attempting to shift the weight off of him. Unfortunately for him, it doesn't work, as Eddie counters the motion by simply dropping the entirety of his admittedly-not-that-much weight onto Steve. Still, the air leaves his lungs with an uff! and Eddie laughs victoriously.
"Nice try," he says, an inch away from Steve's face. They stay there for a second before Eddie straightens himself up, standing and holding out a hand to Steve. "Want to go another round?"
Steve shrugs. "I don't know, Munson. You keep winning. Is this just an excuse to beat me up?"
"I mean, a little," Eddie tells him, swiping a knuckle across the underside of his nose and revealing an excited smile. "We can make it a little more fair, though, if you want."
He raises an eyebrow, skeptical. "Oh, yeah? And how would propose we do that?"
Eddie puts an arm behind his back, pulling the bandana he usually keeps in his back pocket out and holding it up in front of Steve, putting it on display. "I," he starts dramatically, "do this blindfolded."
"No shot," Steve immediately counters. At the expression on Eddie's face, he shakes his head to emphasize his opinion. "No way, dude. You cannot win this round."
He raises the bandana up to his face, covering his eyes and tying it at the back of his head. "Watch me, Harrington," he challenges.
Steve's already dropping into stance, weight held low with his elbows hovering maybe half a foot above his knees. Eddie's unprepared right now, brushing his hair out of his face and tucking it behind his ears, so maybe if he acts now he'll catch him off guard.
Mind made up, Steve circles around to Eddie's side and immediately goes for the man's waist, hoping that if he manages to pin him first, his extra height and weight on the other will give him an advantage. His head goes into Eddie's stomach, and he feels hands on his shoulder blades. Bracing himself, Steve tightens his grip, fingers interlocking with each other.
"Clever move," Eddie murmurs, air hissing out from between his teeth as Steve gets his head to the side of Eddie's ribcage. "A sneak attack. Still, though, I told you. I'm not losing. Not to you, and not today."
"That's what you think," Steve grunts, dragging Eddie to the ground and quickly scrambling to pin him. Somehow, he manages to wriggle his way out of Steve's grip, wrapping both legs around his torso and shoving him sideways a second later. "Shit!"
"My turn." He brings his legs a bit higher, drawing his knees to his chest, then shoves outwards so that Steve is no longer in contact with any part of his body. It takes no time for Eddie to crawl over to him, feeling around with his hands until he lands on Steve's shoulder, and get an arm around his neck while he's still trying to sit up.
Instead of going down instantly, like Steve assumes Eddie's thinking, he manages to resist the shifting of weight and lands with his back on Eddie's chest, effectively pinning him. Pressed together like this, he can feel each breath Eddie takes, feeling the way they start to stutter. "Too much for you?"
"No, no," Eddie says, squirming just enough to free his hand and press it up to his face. "Sohh... sorry, I'm gonna— ngt! ktt! h'nxt'uh!" Each sneeze is practically swallowed, stifled into near-silence. Steve can feel him shudder with each one, unable to get off in time to free Eddie. "Shit, Steve, I'm so sorry."
He's wordless for a moment, crouched as Eddie recovers. "Don't, uh, don't worry about it. You can't help it." Steve holds out a hand once Eddie's lowered his own hand from his face, sniffling. The bandana's been pulled down to his neck, still tied.
"Hold up, I hhave to sneeze again..." Eddie pulls away, back angled slightly towards Steve, and presses his face into his left shoulder. "mp'tch! tsHh! h'kshh'uh!"
"Bless you, bless you, bless you," Steve tells him, timing his blessings with each sneeze Eddie stifles and shifting slightly closer to put a hand on Eddie's shoulder. "You alright? This is, like, the fourth time we've had to stop in the past thirty minutes." It's true; Eddie has been sneezing on and off since they started wrestling each other, but it hasn't actually happened while they were roughhousing yet.
Eddie nods, leaning slightly into his touch as his hands come up to untie the bandana, bringing it up to his still-twitching nostrils. "Yeah, no, I'm fine. It's just..."
He sighs. "Eddie—"
"I might be coming down with a cold," Eddie confesses, the words rushed like Steve's going to get mad at him. "It's not bad, though."
And yeah, Steve could do exactly what Eddie expects of him; he could get mad and lecture him about being reckless with his health. Again. But on the other hand...
Steve shifts his hand, moving from Eddie's shoulder to his face and, before he can react, taps the tip of his nose. Predictably, Eddie draws back, nose twitching, and does his best to absolutely smother the set of sneezes it triggers. "Fuck, Harringtohh-hon. hih'hDt'shHh!" He fails to stifle the first one, but brings his hand up to his face and pinches his nose in a desperate move Steve's never seen before, gasping into his hand as the next three hit him. "hg'nxt! ngt! h'ng'sHh! Holy shit, why the fuck would you do that?"
"Sensitive," he teases, reaching out to poke at Eddie's nose again. The other bats his hand away, eyes wide. "What? It's kind of cute."
Eddie shakes his head. "Stop it, Steve. Just get the lecture over with already, okay?" His eyes are glassy, not with the need to sneeze anymore, but with slowly-welling tears. He glances away, blinking rapidly as his hair falls in front of his face, effectively shielding it from Steve's view. "I know you're mad at me, okay? You don't... have to hide it. I can handle some anger."
"Hey, what?" Steve asks, brows furrowing with confusion. "I'm not mad, Eddie. Look at me." His hand reaches out, now with the intent of turning Eddie's face back towards him. The other flinches away from the fingertips ghosting along his jaw, gritting his teeth, but meets Steve's eyes. "I'm not mad at you. I swear. You know what you can handle, okay? And if that's wrestling with me while you're sick, then I just have to accept that." He shrugs, the movement causal. "Besides, it's kind of cute. You're all flushed and shit."
"Oh my God, shut up," he says, covering his hands with his face, a visible smile spreading underneath his palms. "You're kidding."
"I'm not kidding!"
"You're shitting me right now."
"Eddie, I swear, I'm not joking."
"You really aren't mad?" Eddie asks, and shit, his voice is tiny.
"No. I'm not mad at you. I promise." Steve grabs at Eddie's hand, pulling it away from his face. Then, instead of saying anything else, he pokes Eddie's nose again, grinning as he splutters.
Eddie's breath starts hitching a second later. "Fuck you," he growls, not even pretending to be serious as he lifts the bandana back up to his face. "h'gXxt! kt'sHh-sH'uh! hih'itsh! Holy shh'tsHh'ushh!"
Steve can't suppress the laughter bubbling in up his chest. "Come on, sneezy, let's get you back home. You have tissues there, right?"
"Yeah," he says, pushing a knuckle against his nose and rubbing. "Yeah, I have... so many fucking tissues."
"Of course you do," Steve sighs, standing and pulling Eddie up with him. The older sneers mockingly at him for just a second before his face relaxes and he presses his shoulder against Steve's in a gesture of friendship.
