Choosing a Version

First things first; in the download folder there are two different .rar files to choose from. One is labelled Highpoly and the other is labelled Maxispoly. YOU MUST CHOOSE ONE. THEY WILL OVERRIDE EACHOTHER IF YOU INSTALL BOTH HIGHPOLY AND MAXISPOLY TOGETHER.

The Highpoly version of the saddles is the original mesh resolution from Star Stable Online (which is surprisingly high-quality). However, taking into account the 3D pad and whether there are stirrups or not, it pushes the saddle very far out of EA's expected polycount range (the LOD0 on the Highpoly w/ stirrups clocks in at ~6,044 polys) which is why we have labelled this version as Highpoly. We offer it primarily for simmers who plan to be taking screenshots vs actually playing the game for extended periods of time, or for those with stronger PCs.

The Maxispoly version of the saddle is a decimated version of the mesh intended to be more in-line with Maxis polycounts, and therefore be more performance-friendly. It's about 50% less dense in polys than the Highpoly counterpart (LOD0 on the Maxis w/ stirrups clocks in at ~3,021 polys), however it is still higher-poly than the EA saddles, but again this is because it includes additional mesh details like a 3D saddlepad and/or stirrups, just bear that in mind. This version is for simmers who might have weaker PCs or intend to primarily play the game with the saddles.

Once you've chosen between Highpoly and Maxispoly for your saddle, you'll want to grab the saddlepad overlay .package. This saddlepad (it is found in blankets in CAS) acts like an accessory overlay you'd see for Human content, where it will replace the saddlepad texture on your saddle. You can use the saddlepad overlay without the saddle, but it's not exactly designed for that, as it's designed to match the UVs of the 3D saddlepad. It's unlikely it would fit the EA saddle or any other saddles as just as a flat 2D texture.

All the parts included have custom thumbnails, with the EA fit version having a special identifier.

That concludes all the required reading. Please note that the Realistic Fit of the saddles is not going to line up with EA riding animations and may stretch horribly on them, too. This is because it was rigged and weighted specifically for pose makers. It should look fine when posing. If you want a saddle to fit the EA animations, then the EA Fit version is precisely that, and is meant for gameplay exclusively. The saddlepad overlays are cross-compatible between the Realistic Fit and EA Fit saddles, & any custom saddlepads made by other creators, provided they're intended to fit the UVs, will also be cross-compatible!

If you're interested in making your own saddlepad overlays, I highly recommend cloning the saddlepad overlay included in this download as a starting point. This saddlepad/blanket actually has a "mesh" attached to it (it's just the part of the horse GEOM where the saddlepad texture is) to allow for full normal maps, allowing for better-detail in your saddlepads. Otherwise, you can clone the EA saddlepads and just replace the diffuses with ones you make to fit this saddle, it just won't have that extra jazz.

Anyways, included the folder is a .psd file which is meant to help streamline making saddlepads to fit this mesh (and any future Dressage Saddle meshes/swatches) - There's a guide in the .psd but in general, just keep your textures within the mask/provided guide UVs in the .psd and you'll be golden!

momo is startled when you suddenly grab her face with your left hand, squishing her cheeks in the process, making her soft lips pout as she stares at you, confused.

“what?” she mumbles, noticing that you looked like you were deep in thought as your eyes darted between the phone screen you held up beside her face, and momo. she could feel a bubbly little flutter erupt in her stomach as she takes this time to just admire the way your eyebrows scrunched together in concentration and how you subconsciously stuck your tongue out, making you look like an absolute unit of a 5-year-old trying to think of it’s next creation.

momo holds you down as she laughs at your behaviour, finding it endearing as she intertwines her hand with yours.

“you’re not wrong about that last part..” you mumble as you pick at your fingers once you both finally calm down, lying down beside each other. momo props her head on her elbow as she looks down at you in amusement.

“oh?” she chirps, “you love ea-”

The Rise: Part I

DANNY: Man, we were ready to go. We know that our rise, once we got signed to a label, appeared to occur overnight but we worked for years to even be acknowledged by anybody in the music business. We were just hungry for it, so by the time Al approached us we really buckled down and collectively decided that we were really gonna try to make it happen.

2017

Coley’s fingertips try to relieve the tension that’s knotting itself up in the center of her forehead as Jake and Josh go back and forth trying to agree on a key while Sam’s lost in conversation with Al who explains the technicality of some setting on the soundboard laid out in front of them. 

She grabs her phone from the pocket of her sweat pants and sees 8:57p.m. staring back at her. 

Growing restless and annoyed—feeling as though she’s been trapped in this damn studio all day even though it’s only been a handful of hours—she starts to become silently weepy.

Daniel, who’s been listening to Al alongside Sammy, glances over at Coley to see she’s got her eyes closed and her palm on her forehead, with her elbow propped on the arm rest of the swivel chair she’s tucked into while waiting for her boyfriend and his brother to get on the same page. 

“You okay, Coley?” He asks. 

“I’m starting to feel like I’m being held hostage.” She explains to him when she opens her eyes and sees him staring at her. 

Josh overhears her in the midst of his back and forth with his twin, smoothly turning to look over his shoulder and pipe, “we’re almost there,” before turning back to his brother to pick up where he left off. 

“You’ve been saying that for ten minutes.” She retorts, Josh pausing to look at her once again, somewhat irritated. 

“Well, you’d probably be less bored if you came over here and contributed.” He passively smiles out, to which she raises her brows and looks at Jake. 

He flatly looks at his brother and says, “Josh. Give her a break—she’s been here for five hours and you’ve bitched and nitpicked her almost the whole time. People don’t wanna share their opinions with you when you think it’s all shit.”

“I’ve made suggestions.” Josh corrects his brother. 

“...About guitar when you don’t even fucking play.” Coley retorts. 

“Hey, guys, let’s not.” Al’s pulled from his conversation with Sam, feeling the tension once more building within the room. 

“If Thumbelina wants to get her panties in a twist over my opinion—which is superior—then there’s nothing I can do about that.” Josh tells him. 

Jake eyes his girlfriend over Josh’s shoulder, silently pleading with her not to keep arguing because they both know Josh can go for hours if he feels the need to. 

JOSH: We were all under a little duress and I just didn’t want it to sound like shit. And it didn’t…because of my refusal to let it sound like shit. Do you see where I’m going with this?

JAKE: Josh was wound up so tightly around that time that he just wanted things to go as smoothly as they could. He’s always been very particular, which we all could pick through and critique each other a little too much at times, but we really had to learn how to just be okay with not every take sounding perfectly polished and flawless. Once we came to the conclusion that part of the authenticity of the music lay in the little mistakes made here and there, it wasn’t so testy to be in the studio for hours on end with each other.

“I’m going to the bathroom.” Coley states, next, huffing out a breath and standing up to stretch before sarcastically inquiring to Josh, “Any other suggestions you wanna make for me?”

“A smoke break and a motrin, maybe.” He quips, earning a harsh shove to his shoulder from Jake.

“Don’t be a sassy-ass.” Sammy sighs out to him while Coley ignores his comment and steps out.

“She knows it’s out of love.” Josh shrugs as the door shuts behind her. 

When Coley gets in the hallway, she’s scrolling through her phone, seeing that she’s missed a text message from Sherri. 

Sister💕 Don’t forget to text me when you guys are on the way over. Hopefully I’m about to get Kayce to bed. 

Coley We’re probably about to head out when I get back from the bathroom. 

Coley locks her phone and slides it back into her pocket when she reaches the bathroom. 

Once she’s done, she’s washing her hands and going back to the room her friends and boyfriend are still hard at work in. 

“…Look, it needs to be higher so the—”

“—Jake?” 

Josh stops speaking, the two of them looking at Coley before she’s waving her boyfriend over to her. 

Putting his guitar aside, he does as she’s asked, and Coley feels her heart pick up its pace in her chest as he grows closer to her. 

Looking up at him while her fingertips fumble with one of the buttons of his flannel, she quietly asks,  “Can we please put a pin in this for tonight? Sherri’s waiting up for us, and it’s gonna take an hour for us to get to their house.” 

Jake looks down at her, unable to help the way his focus on everything except her melts away with the bat of her lashes and silent begging behind her blue eyes. 

He rubs his lips together, glancing at his brothers. 

When his umber gaze shifts to her once again, briefly, she knows she’s garnered a small victory for the night. 

She cracks a triumphant grin when he turns to look at his brothers and says, “Hey, guys, we’re gonna call it a night. Me and Coley are gonna be at her sister’s tonight.”

“Fuck!” Her high-pitched, shaky cry echoes in the cab of Jake’s car, her writhing hips moving in sync with his through her orgasm, her bare chest pressed to his t-shirt while his hands keep a vice grip on her ass.

“Don’t be.” He shakes his head, glancing at his lap before looking at his girlfriend who’s reaching for her panties, pulling her knees to her chest to slip them over her ankles. 

“Jake!” She scolds despite her weak giggle, as his hand slides between her legs, “We don’t have time for—shit!”

Sherri grabs the plate once Coley scrubs and washes it off, her older sister drying it before putting it away in the cupboard, craning her neck to look at Coley’s boyfriend with her son. 

“I really appreciate your guys’ help.” Sherri informs Coley, her hair piled on top of her head in a bun that she hasn’t refixed in a day, her face showing exhaustion and her eyes darker with subtle bags under them. 

“It’s not a problem, Sis.” Coley assures her. “At least this dinner turned out better than the last one.” She adds, and Sherri scoffs. 

“Yeah, that burnt lasagna…” 

“I tried.” Coley shrugs, and her sister smiles at her. 

“You did. That’s all that mattered,” She agrees, sniffling, before rubbing her lips together nervously, not quite sure how to branch this conversation into what she really wants to discuss. “...I, um, I talked to mom this morning…” 

Coley’s lungs expand with her deep breath, her teeth biting into her tongue as Sherri continues. 

“She seemed pretty upset.” 

“I don’t care,” Coley shakes her head, looking at her older sister. 

“She didn’t mean to hurt your feelings, Coley—”

“--Okay, her dragging my boyfriend through the mud no longer hurts my feelings. It just outright pisses me off, and I’m really not in the mood to talk about it, yet.”

She says it a bit louder than intended, pulling Jake’s attention from the five year old he’s quietly coaching. 

“She just wants what’s best for you, and somehow has it in her head that maybe he’s not.” Sherri states. “I don’t agree with her at all, but it’s mom, Coley. I don’t like when you guys—”

“—I said I’m done talking about it, Sherri.” She states, cutting the sink off and drying her hands. 

“You’re staying here tonight so you don’t have to be at home with her.”

“Sherri, I said–” 

“--What happens when we all go off to Yankee Springs next weekend? You can’t just ignore that this is happening, Coley.” 

“Mom can think what she wants. I’m not wasting my time anymore trying to convince her when she’s already made up her mind. There’s no point. Fuck it. I’m done. Just drop it, Sher.”

Coley’s stepping to the fridge, grabbing a beer, and heading to the living room to sit with her boyfriend and nephew while her older sister decides it’s not worth getting into right now with Jake present. 

After Sherri feeds Collins, she places the tiny baby back in her bassinet in the living room and sighs, “Alright, Kayce, tell aunt Coley g’night.” 

He lets a disappointed breath out and Jake gently accepts the guitar from him before the boy is getting out of the floor and walking to his aunt with open arms. 

“Goodnight, dude, I love you.” Coley says, squeezing him tightly until he giggles and squeezes her back just as hard, her lips pressing to his hair before she’s releasing him. 

“I love you. Goodnight, aunt Coley. Goodnight, Jake.” He replies, his fist bumping into Jake’s in-passing. 

“Goodnight, man.” Jake says to him, waiting for him and Sherri to disappear from the doorway of the living room before looking at Coley. 

She notices him watching her, raising a brow as he takes a heavy swallow of his own beer and puts the bottle on the coffee table, hauling himself up to sit on the couch beside her. 

“What is it?” She inquires, and all he does is brush her hair from her face, his thumb returning to her cheek to rub at the smooth skin momentarily as his eyes flicker while staring at her. 

He’s not an idiot. 

He knows she and Tammy have been going back and forth ever since she and Jake started dating…well…ever since they graduated and Coley dropped out of college twice, and showed no interest in going back because she was convinced they didn’t need school when they’ll make it as a band. 

Her mom has blamed him for filling Coley’s head with baseless dreams, not knowing that Jake’s tried to get her to go back to school, to no avail—clearly. 

Jake can’t bring himself to press her about what happened this morning with her mother, instead he tells her the truth, hoping to cheer her up a little bit. 

“What?” She repeats, giggling nervously under his gaze. 

A smile spreads across his lips, growing wider until his teeth are showing. 

“What?” 

“I love you,” He finally says to her, watching her face and eyes light up when she hears the words. 

She leans into him, kissing his mouth chastely before quietly replying, “I love you, too, baby,” 

As always, the single show of affection multiplies into dozens until they’re both forgetting where they’re at, their hands roaming greedily, and their mouths moving together desperately. 

She’s soon on his lap, his hands under her t-shirt to run along the smooth skin of her back while her arms wrap around his neck, the both of them growing needier in their movements. 

Her mouth parts in a gasp when his hands grab at her hips and encourage her to grind against him, and his teeth gently nip at her bottom lip. 

Coley fights to hold back a whimper that stifles in her throat at the feeling of him moving between her legs, wanting to keep quiet from her sister…

Her attention soon snaps to the bassinet in the corner that holds the sleeping baby who appears to be laying a little too peacefully. 

“She’s breathing, right?” She asks, yanking Jake from his time wrapped up in the haze of her. 

“What?” He inquires, half-paying attention. 

He lets her go as she stumbles from his lap and pushes her hair from her face, heading to the bassinet to peer at her niece, who is breathing, after all. 

“Okay. She’s okay. Sorry.” She sighs, running a hand through her hair, settling beside Jake and curling into his side as the T.V. sends a soft glow through the room…

It’s now that Jake once again looks at her, something that doesn’t go unnoticed.

“Baby, what’s wrong?” Coley more-so demands it, causing his eyes to immediately pull away from her. 

Jake licks his lips, keeping focused on the television as he tries to figure out what to say.

I’m sorry your mom hates you because of me?

I think you need to go back to school, maybe. 

What’s happening with you and your mom?

The last one doesn’t seem so bad. 

“What’s going on with you and your mom, Coley?” He asks her softly, but it’s stern enough. 

She pushes out a breath and shakes her head. 

“It’s nothing, Jake.” 

It didn’t seem like nothing when she got in his car and had clearly been crying when he picked her up to head to the studio…nor did it seem like nothing in the kitchen with Sherri a few minutes ago. 

“Am I getting between you and Tammy?” He doesn’t sugar coat the question. 

“Tammy is getting between me and Tammy.” She scoffs. “Mom’s being a dick right now—well, she’s been one for a couple years but she’s really being one here lately. I wouldn’t worry about it, though.” 

“I do worry about it because I don’t wanna cause anything between you two.”

“Jake, you haven’t.”

“What about the school thing?” 

“Well…I’ve decided she’s not actually upset about the school thing.”

He seems all the more confused by her words and she thickly swallows and exhales before starting, “It’s not the school thing. It’s the Holton thing.” 

“Ever since his mom told her that I cheated on him, mom’s been ornery about you,” She confesses, eliciting a heavy breath from him. 

His hand rubs at his forehead, silence taking over aside from the TV, and he licks his lips. 

“So…she thinks I’m a piece of shit who took my buddy’s girlfriend then fired him from our band?” 

“Apparently that’s what Holton made it out to be to his mom.”

“Fucking prick.” He mumbles, rolling his eyes.

He’s not the least bit surprised—knowing he’d somehow manage to victimize himself completely in the situation. 

No, Holton didn’t put Jake and Coley on blast the way they had braced themselves for when the break-up first ensued…but that doesn’t matter if somebody he cares about—such as his girlfriend’s mother—thinks badly of him. 

“It’s a sore spot for mom, I guess, because of dad cheating on her but…I mean, she did it, too. So she doesn’t have any room to judge either of us for it.” Coley rambles, pulling Jake’s brows to a furrow as he looks at his girlfriend. 

She realizes what she’s blurted out, and feels her eyes water and her throat grow tight. 

COLEY: My parents’ relationship wasn’t always the best. Right after I was born, they both struggled pretty bad…dad stepped out first, and mom followed. They seperated a few months after my first birthday, and when mom came up pregnant with Julianne, my dad really worked to get better and win her back. 

It obviously worked out but they both had wounds from that whole experience that they didn’t really heal from. I think that’s why my mom was so weird about everything that happened with me, Holton, and Jake. 

It was very frustrating. 

Jake listens as Coley unloads everything. 

Her dad cheating on her mom, her mom cheating on her dad instead of leaving him, the two of them finally separating—Tammy taking Sherri and Coley back to Vegas with her to stay with their grandmother, only for Tammy to find out weeks later that she was pregnant again…

He knew Tammy got pregnant with Sherri at seventeen after meeting her dad while he was on a trip with his older brother, and they decided to stay together…but he never would have thought, ever, that Tammy and Cole had such a rocky start the first few years. 

Not from the way they appear, now. 

“It doesn’t have anything to do with us, or even  you.” Coley tells him, at last, sniffling while he wipes tears from her cheek that have appeared through her sharing where all of this is coming from. “It’s just bullshit she hasn’t sorted through and is pinning it on other people, and I’m so embarrassed that she’s being like this because it’s not your fault.” 

Growing less offended as he comes to realize maybe it’s not as personal as he assumed it was, he still doesn’t quite know what to say. 

Instead of pretending to, he merely pulls her to his lap, his cheek resting against her forehead as his arms wrap around her.

“I love you.” Jake finally tells her. “And I’m not worried about what anybody thinks, so don’t let it get you this worked up, baby.” 

“I love you, too.” Coley sighs, closing her eyes and trying to calm down some before they lay down to hopefully get a little sleep before Collins wakes up. 

Early in the morning, after Coley and Jake fell out on the couch—Jake’s arm tightly secured around her waist with his face buried in her hair—an impatient cry sounds out at 4:00a.m., signaling it’s time for another bottle, and being that Jake got up with Collins at 1:00a.m., Coley takes her turn. 

After changing her diaper, silence befalls the house once again the moment Coley gets the bottle from its warmer and pops it in the baby’s mouth, hoping her older sister wasn’t disturbed from her sleep. 

Jake keeps his eyes closed despite being somewhat conscious, hearing Coley, very softly, very quietly, as she sings to the little baby in her arms…he immediately decides it’s one of his favorite things that she does, but he struggles to keep himself awake longer to bask in the beauty of it, her sweet voice lulling him back to sleep.

Reina shook out her tangled, weighed down hair as she stood under the canopy of the restraunt. She could see the hostess giving her the evil eye from the counter. Did she dare risk another death by stepping inside? 

Her stomach growled. Loudly. 

She poked her head in and did her best to smile. "Sorry, have you seen–"

"Ray-Ray!" Jeremy stood from a table, waving wildly, before he seemed to notice Reina's state. Despite the weather, he wore denim cut off shorts and a deep cut, white tank top that showed off his bright blue binder when he bent down to scoop up his backpack. "Could we maybe move to the patio?"

"Please," the hostess deadpanned.

Jeremy pulled her in for a bear hug as they were quickly led to a covered, but outside table, thumping Reina on the back. "Jeez, did you take a shower in the rain?"

"It was a good…temperature." Just the right amount of cold to bring her back to earth after yet another waking nightmare. 

"Right, I'm sure God ordered this rain to be warm just for you." They sat across from each other as a waiter came up to them with mugs–Hot chocolate for her and coffee for Jeremy. 

She wrapped her hands around the burning cup and held it close as Jeremy ordered. The steam curled around her face pleasantly. 

"Alright, I call this meeting of the AroAce club to order!" Jeremy said, banging on the table for effect, limited by the roar of the water.

"Y'know, our first order of…business could be to con-consider a new name."

"It's perfect. I'm the Aro, you're the Ace. What more do we need?"

"Bi? You've been saying how you want Cor…Cor…Delia to join."

He waved her off. "She can be like an honorary member. A level above honorary. Speaking of our real first order of business…"

"She said she'd con–think about it in a few months."

"UGH!" Jeremey slid down in his seat, rummaging around his backpack. "Why so long?"

"She's trying to rush her classes to grad–graduate this winter and then she's moving back to Pine Springs." 

A notebook and pen were thrown onto the tabletop and Reina took the liberty of flipping it open to the newest page. Jeremy put a check next to the first item. “Huh. Well, fine, we can try to find a diner towards Pine Springs. For next spring." 

She laughed croakily at his pouting before she had to cough. It looked slightly odd with his new caterpillar lip, which he was wildly proud of learning to draw in. Jeremy had started dressing more masculinely three months ago, about the same time he started testosterone. It seemed like he was doing everything he could to make up for lost time. He had told her once, almost ashamed, about why he had waited so long to physically and visibly transition. That it had felt like he was taking a joy that wasn't meant for him. Obviously untrue, no matter how someone looked at it. Reina just wished—

“Second order of business! Ace, how much sex you having?”

Reina quirked her lips at the startled waiter and accepted her plate of chocolate chip pancakes. “About once a month for a definition of sex which involves keeping–ing–keeping my clothes on. I’ve gotten off a grand total of zero in the last eight months.”

“Works for you and Andy?” Jeremy asked around a mouthful of egg. 

“No complaints.”

Jeremy checked another item in his notebook. He looked at her expectantly and she sighed.

“Fine. Aro, how many dat…t-tes are you going on?”

“Fucking zero. And it’s great.”

Reina drew an air smile with a finger. “Happy for you. And how many hookups?”

He smiled wickedly. “Plenty, my dear.”

The waiter who had been eavesdropping on them scurried away as Jeremy turned to wink at him. 

“Okay, onto serious business…” Jeremy started as Reina stifled her raspy giggles. "How are the nightmares?"

Reina stopped laughing. Truth be told, they weren't awful. The Redfield nightmares only popped up three times a week. The waking nightmares where she lost control of her body and forgot where and when she was happened about five times a week. Still, he was only asking about her sleep. "Good. I mostly sleep. Nightmares are…terrifying, but I deal. You?"

He raised a skeptical eyebrow. "Mine are decent. I get a cool six hours most nights. Still fucking horrendous though."

"Yep…" They both ate their next few bites in silence. "We're both fucking liars, aren't we?”

“Oh yeah.” Jeremy crossed out the last bullet point and wrote something next to it. “So, now for the open session. What's going on?”

Reina frowned. "What do you mean?"

Jeremy did not look impressed. "Ace. Reina. Baby angelface. You've been off since our last meeting. Every time we talk, every time we text. Something's up. Just spill."

Reina shoved a bit of pancake in her mouth and chewed slowly. It wasn't real. That was the thing. Rather, she wasn't sure if it was real.

Reina's body was not her body. That was real. Her body had been turned to ashes that had been quietly stolen from the Westchester Police Department by Cordelia and Danni. 

Her bones ached. That was real. Every movement and every breath came with a twinge even eight months after her second first heartbeat. 

Her hair brushed her waist where before it just touched her shoulders. That was real. Heavy, thick, and beautiful and not painstakingly grown out by her. 

Her voice…

The thing. The not real thing had been easier to ignore when she was a teenager. The way she'd sometimes feel sick when her clothes clung to her. The way it hurt when her mom called her hermosa, or pretty, or a lovely young woman. The way she would look at Andy and feel envy and attraction mix in her chest. Reina had felt awful about it, about herself, about everything, except–

Except when she didn't. Except the days she loved her curves and long curls and being called pretty. When tight shirts, flowy skirts, and just a hint of makeup felt good those other thoughts faded into the background. Until they came back.

Her voice had always been the one constant. Deep and warm, not in a masculine way unless she pushed it, but not always in a plainly feminine way unless she tried, and now it was crackly and rough, words would fail her and it hurt. That was real. The one thing she'd loved about her body no matter what and even that–

Somedays she wondered if it wouldn't be better to still be dead. To be formless with a thousand voices, to be able to move in a blink and be stronger than Superman, instead of stuck in the small, weak, sometimes wrong body she had. 

She had stayed quiet since she was a kid about the strangeness she felt. And now she had a second chance. But what if it wasn't real?

"I've got a que…ques…query."

Jeremy took a sip of his coffee. "Shoot."

"How did you know you were trans?"

He leaned back in his creaky metal chair and blew out a breath. "Huh. Well…you've got to understand. I technically didn't know. Me, myself, and the Power I shared brainspace with. I just showed up this way. Jeremy, Jeremiah, the real one, he realized when he was…fifteen? The memories are fuzzy, but for the most part it kind of came with realizing he was aro."

"Wait, what?" How the hell…

Jeremy shrugged. "He was dating this guy, Alan, Alex something, anyway, that guy, he'd always be like 'my girl, my girlfriend, my princess, my lady.'" They both shuddered. "Yeah, ol' Miah figured out pretty quick that he'd rather be stabbed in the face than be anyone's lady, quickly followed by realizing he didn't want to be anyone's boyfriend either. I don't know the specifics anymore. Like I said, fuzzy."

Reina had never thought about it like that. She'd always put sexuality and gender as pretty different things in her mind, only connected by virtue of being queer. Her aceness had never had anything to do with her gender fucky thoughts, except…

Well, she leaned on the side of sex-repulsed with one foot over in sex-indifferent. The thought of anyone touching her with intent gave her the heebie-jeebies. The thought of touching other people wasn't something she loved, but the first one was infinitely more nerve wracking. She and Andy had worked out a system of talking and cuddling with intent and a firm agreement that her hands did nothing and her chest and crotch were left alone. 

Only those areas. Her hips, back, thighs, and elsewhere were fair game, within reason. The thought of Andy touching those areas left her with…disgust. Which could be explained by the repulsion, except the thought only filled her with absolute disgust some days. Most days, it was just an intense dislike. Except, except…

"So, th-that was it for you?"

Jeremy scratched the back of his neck. "Well, not exactly. Me, Jeremy, I…questioned after I realized I wasn't really Jeremiah. Especially after Amalia told me I changed and I looked my maker and my ghost in the face all in the same day, I needed to. I needed to know, for sure, that the parts of me I kept were…" He shrugged.

"Real?" Reina suggested.

"Yeah. If I was real. When I took off those first two months, well…when I hit Missoula I pretended I was a girl. Never say I do things the easy way." He took a deep breath. "Got myself a nice blouse, some tight jeans, and heels and called myself Jessica. Then Elizabeth, because Jessica was a bit too morbid."

"And?"

"And I fucking hated it," He said, laughing. "It was awful. I felt miserable. I mean, even when I pretended to be a girl for safety I didn't feel nearly as bad. It hit me that if I was going to realize I wasn't a guy or I wasn't aromantic that it would've happened when I still thought I was the real Jeremiah. I don't exactly regret it though."

Reina felt some regret for asking. What was she thinking? That permanent bone deep kind of feeling, that was real. What she was feeling…It was just in her head. It had to be. When she felt like Jeremy, it was just for a few days, a month max, not all the time. "Why n–n-n–" She sighed and waved her hand.

"Because I got to be sure. If I'd just thought about it and taken the 'no bad' feelings from there, I would've driven myself nuts for the rest of my life. Some people don't need to but I did." He caught her eyes and Reina fought the urge to look away. "Experimenting and questioning, they're not bad things. I know parents or friends or…boyfriends might feel like you need to know. Or that you need to have known since you were a kid, but it just doesn't always work that way."

"But what if they're wr…wrong? What if a girl is ju-ust a girl with…issues?" Like so many issues.

Jeremy smiled. "Even if someone ends up being cis, at least they know for sure. Then they could start working on those other issues. And if they're not, then it's an even bigger win. Don't you think?"

Reina stayed quiet. They both finished their meal and fought over the check, Jeremy almost body checking her out of the way to the counter. 

The grey May skies still wept over all of Westchester and they stood under the canopy for a moment. When she was a kid, rain had been comforting and cleansing and perfect for making mud balls to fling at her friends. As a teenager, it had been a perfect backdrop to sleep to and orient herself with. It hadn't rained when Jane died. As an…adult, it reminded her that she was alive. The rain didn't pass through her, it clung to her skin like a blanket while she moved her aching bones and flung around her waist length hair. The person she was then and the person she was now loved the rain. Whoever that person was.

Jeremey looked at her and smiled. "Hey, Reina. You got anything you want to tell me?"

WEAPONIZATION: Biden's DHS sought to declare 'being conservative' a public health emergency to justify mass surveillance of Trump supporters as recently as 2023.

Internal documents from Biden’s DHS reveal a disturbing strategy: targeting Trump supporters as domestic extremists. This revelation, forced into the open by America First Legal's litigation with Richard Grenell, highlights Biden's misuse of federal agencies for political purposes.

On September 19, 2023, the DHS announced the Homeland Intelligence Experts Group. However, AFL and Grenell sued, alleging it violated the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA). The settlement requires DHS to wind down the Experts Group within 30 days, cease future meetings, and avoid reconstituting the group in a manner inconsistent with FACA or the Homeland Security Act of 2002.

Highlighted by AFL, one document from the Brennan-Clapper intel group asserts that:

“most of the domestic terrorism threat now comes from supporters of the former president.”

This paints a significant portion of American citizens as threats to national security based solely on their political beliefs. The group’s strategy to label Trump supporters as domestic terrorists is a blatant and illegal power grab designed to silence opposition.

Other documents expose plans to classify Trump supporters, military personnel, and religious individuals as potential "domestic violent extremists." Under the Brennan-Clapper committee’s approach, DHS should profile people in the military or with religious beliefs, tagging them as having “indicators of extremists and terrorism” to justify spying on them.

Still more documents reveal that the advisory committee discussed ways for DHS to increase efforts to collect intelligence on Americans, including attempting to “get into local communities in a non-threatening way.” By the time the Homeland Intelligence Experts Group was announced in September 2023, the Group had already been meeting for as long as four months. When it held a discussion on “Collection Posture and Associated Challenges,” a Group member complained that there was “no mandate for state and local partners” to collect information, resulting in “limited access in I&A.”

These documents prove the Biden administration is leveraging federal agencies to target and intimidate political opponents. This weaponization of government power is a clear violation of democratic principles and threatens the foundation of our republic. This discriminatory profiling undermines freedom and equality, casting suspicion on military service members and religious individuals, leading to widespread abuse and mistrust.

Shockingly, the documents reveal the DHS Intelligence Group's planned to require Americans to report their neighbors to the federal government. They discussed reclassifying political dissent under the guise of “public health” to give them more power to spy on Trump supporters more easily. They even planned to encourage “mothers and teachers” to report perceived threats. This tactic, using public health as a cover to silence political opposition, creates a culture of suspicion and fear, where neighbors spy on neighbors, undermining trust within communities further dividing the nation.

The group discussed the current threat landscape, domestic terrorism strategy, collection posture, and associated challenges, civil liberties and privacy challenges. Concerning the efforts to collect, it is interesting to see how we have collected and reported since January 6th. Support for this mission set has varied but changed after January 6th as their mission to combat domestic terrorism gained departmental and political support. This context shows how the DHS Intelligence Group was pushing to expand surveillance and intelligence collection efforts, using any pretext necessary to justify their actions.

The Group noted that the “See Something, Say Something” campaign after 9/11 fell short because “Americans have an ambivalent feeling of telling on each other.” The problem, as one attendee phrased it, is, “How do we get into local communities in a non-threatening way? How do people safely report a concern about their neighbors?” Where DHS lacks capabilities and cannot convince mothers and teachers to report their own children, one contributor suggested turning to corporate America as a resource.

Biden was forced to dissolve the unlawful DHS Intelligence Experts Group, stacked with deep state partisans like James Clapper and John Brennan but I have no doubt the effort to target Trump supporters continues in earnest.

1: What’s your favourite creation of yours? And why?

All of the wallpapers from my colorful wallpaper series. I use them a lot! I haven't even posted all of them yet, I need to get on to that.

I also use my colorful laptop recolor in like every household I play, and the dollhouse recolor in every house that has kids and space.

(I just realized how badly tagged my CC is. couldn't even find the laptop recolor. Adding "fixing CC tags" to my football field long to-do list.)

I still have no clue why I made this, by the way. Never used it. But I remember how happy I felt when people downloaded it. Ah, I miss those times.

27: Do you prefer Simlish or real languages used in-game (music, fonts, labels, etc.)

If you ever see me use English in my game... call the police, I have been kidnapped and replaced by an alien in disguise.

I do not like real world languages in my game. I do not like real world brands or characters in my game. Even when EA does it (like the EA Sports shirts). I have made CC in English, but only for commissions.

Get to know you: Sims Style

Thank you to @executables-sims for the tag! Took me a few days, but this was fun to fill out.

What’s your favorite Sims death?

Easy, death by Cowplant! It's so iconic and peak Sims-ridiculousness. That it made its way into future games is no surprise. Plus, I don't have a ton of accidental death in my game, and the Cowplant keeps me on my toes.

Alpha CC or Maxis Match?

Maxis Match as much as possible. I love TS2's aesthetic, even is some of it appears dated. My game certainly looks better in 2023 than it did in 2004, but it is still recognizably TS2

Do you cheat your sims weight?

No, I let it happen organically. Especially because I use Simler90's Slower Fitness Increase and Nopke's Fitness Decay, both of which really make you work for it. They are essential to my gameplay, but mean more of my sims have a high body skill than is probably normal. They are doing their best!

Do you move objects?

Of course. Why it isn't enabled in my UserStartup file is a question I ask myself daily.

Favorite Mod?

Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made?

In an older prompt, I answered with Daniel Monona, but since then it's definitely been Duke Patricio. I've made him 3 times (in my OG 2000's game, where he married Nina Caliente, in a Base Game Starter hood, and again in my 2020's game). He and Zeeshan are my favorite couple and I'm sad they are so close to old age because I've had so much fun playing them (but I've also been giving them way too many extra days with Elixir of Life or Life Fruit).

Ari is #2, but I haven't played him for a bit because I'm stuck on what to do with him as a Vampire...

Nope, only one of my old TS2 Exchange avatar, which was intentionally not what I look like.

Which is your favorite EA hair color?

Never really thought about this, but maybe black?

Favorite EA hair?

Two male hairs, Rocker and Shortmop. Those two haircuts were iconic in my 2000's saves. Jeanette is my favorite CC hair.

Favorite life stage?

Teens. It's where my sims start to develop their personalities, and I begin to think about what I want them to do. They also haven't fully grown into their facial features yet, so you can get all sorts of good and bad surprises. Plus, they can cause lots of of trouble.

Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay?

I still consider myself a builder, even though I play my game much more frequently these days. But I think 400+ uploaded lots in my time playing this game allows me to hold onto that label.

Are you a CC creator?

I guess so! Learning how to mesh and use Milkshape in the last year has radically changed how I see myself in the TS2 community, and has stolen so many days from me (the trial and error of making, and the trial and error of uploading), but its been a very fun skill to develop.

Do you have any Simblr friends or a Sim Squad?

I love my mutuals but I don't interact with other accounts too often. I don't post on a Sims discord or anything. Maybe I should?!

No and I would definitely not have time to produce one!

How has your “Sims style” changed throughout your years of playing?

Loaded question time! For one, my game is much more LGBTQ+ than when I shared neighborhood save files with my siblings growing up. Now that it's my game, exploring different relationships with my sims is one of my favorite parts of play.

I've also become much more Maxis Match as I get older. The 2000's were a wild west for CC creation, and my old saves are bursting at the seams with painted-on clothes and the mid-decade emo aesthetic that I have absolutely no interest in playing in 2023.

Lastly, my build style used to be modern and CFE heavy, but now I prefer traditional (modern works better in TS3) and makeovers.

Who’s your favorite CC creator?

I'll take a historical approach to answering this, because there are many active creators whose work I love, but I also try to preserve the legacies of the original TS2 pioneers. Here are 5:

Numenor - The Modfather. His mods did more to expand this game than just about anyone in the heyday of TS2. If you are reading this, you know who Numenor is. Need I say more? Windkeeper - Probably the best Maxis Match CC of the old era. Her stuff holds up remarkably well. en7en - aka "That Pagoda Guy." Yeah, he's the CFE genius who made the Eiffel Tower and disappeared way too soon. A huge inspiration on my old build style. Ehaught58 - one of the great builders across many different Sims eras. I need to upload some of his old TS2 lots. I wish I could still access his Exchange page because it was a treasure trove. His lots were often huge and unfriendly to old machines but would be fine now. A very recognizable build style (dark woods, earth tones). Daihtnaoz7 - If he did nothing but discover CFE he'd still be a legend. But he also wrote the single bridge, double bridge, and atrium tutorials, demonstrating how to best take advantage of this new cheat. A literal gamechanger. I paid tribute to him here.

How long have you had Simblr?

I think I made this in Spring 2020. Right as COVID was shutting everything down, I found myself playing TS2 a lot more and eventually discovered Simblr. The old, big sites are either shells of their former selves (MTS), or don't allow TS2 content anymore (TSR), so I figured if I wanted to be active in the TS2 community nearly 20 after the game came out, I had to be on Tumblr.

How do you edit your pictures?

I have a Photoshop action that crops, brightens, and sharpens, and somehow pictures still take me way too long.

What expansion/gamepack is your favorite?

TS1 - Makin Magic! A perfect final EP for the first game. Though Unleashed was probably my very first EP. TS2 - University (I'm in the minority here, but it's so much fun when you have big dorms or chaotic houses). Seasons is #2 TS3 - Late Night. Bridgeport is gorgeous and the new lot styles were fun and I wish they could be ported in TS2.

Its a term pointing out how ppl will be obsessed w/ smth just bcs its japanese. Like those memes "Japan is living in 2050 😱😱" or being obsessed w/ anime while trashing on donghua (<- major problem bcs it has both japanese fetishism And sinophobia). Also comes in the form of likeee. attributing other EA things to Japan (like on Tiktok tanghulu got rlly popular and ppl kept describing it as "a japanese snack" when its from China). AMONG MANT OTHER THINGS im not the best person to list this since im not even asian much less japanese, this was just a few off the top of my head.

I mentioned it in my post bcs I was talking abt the Japanese train and subway systems are Legitimately world-class- the thing I mentioned in the tags was this experiment where bits of food were placed in an arrangement of major cities around Tokyo, and mold was placed at the center (where "Tokyo" was), and the path it took basically matched the railways they have- notable since the slime follows the most efficient route to it.

THIS IS IMPORTANT I noticed that in my download count most didn’t download the package file as well 

You need both for the mod to work properly.

Open your file folder folder go to the file named Electronic arts it should be in your documents section of your files. Click it!

Click on the next folder named The Sims 4 after that find your mods folder, that is the folder where you’ll be placing the Messy Trait in.

Go to downloads and drag both of those to your mods folder make sure since its a script file it is no more than one subfolder deep! 

A tip make sure to delete your local thumbcache it has a tendency to store old mod data that is in the same folder labeled The Sims 4 

Also when deleting old mods do the same delete that cache babes

Last step when you load up the game make sure to go in game options and click enable mods and and click enable script mods!

WIP: Untitled OFB Sales Kit1

Published: 7-21-2023 | Updated: 9-22-2023 100+ posters, tags, packages, and signs to organize sale items on your commercial lots. These objects were designed for simmers who play with lots of useable/sellable items, as well as multiple food, farming, and crafting mods.

You’ll be able to separate edibles, harvestables, ingredients, etc. from deco stuff (more on the process later). Labels will be color-coded in Simlish and English to make sorting objects by function easier (i.e. cook, drink, eat, grow, garden, harvest, make, craft, stock, use, view). The set will include multiple currency labels from the simsverse – simoleons, magicoin, neosimoleons, etc.

Of course, you can simply use them to gussy up your business too! This project will likely be published as multiple sets.

Welcome to 18 Celebration, a four-unit home for all sorts of families! Each house (or unit) has three floors and a little front yard to enjoy some greenery, BBQing, and a lack of privacy. The lot also comes with a tiny side park to mingle and make friends. 💖

About the build:

I don't own For Rent so this is labeled as a residential but you can easily make the switch and then label each unit.

I did furnish the homes with families/sims in mind to help with the process but if you want to make changes for your gameplay please do so and tag me so I can see it! (here or on instagram).

This has been playtested and should work fine.

I am not a builder and this is by far the biggest build project I've made that was not for myself.

No CC but a lot of packs (can you blame me?). I used MOO 'Move Objects) so make sure it is on before placing the lot.
