Do not forget about Palestinians on this Eid, do not forget about Gaza, do not forget about the lives taken and homes destroyed, do not forget about the joy and life so cruelly snatched from them.
Eid means to us what Christmas means to most of you. And they're spending it digging through rubble and locating bodies to burry.
They have no chocolates, no new clothes to wear, no homes to decorate, they lost loved ones which would gather together, no Eidi to give to children to make them happy, no mehndi, no jewelery, no new toys.
Do not forget about Palestine.
Keep boycotting for them, keep protesting for them, keep donating to the families through the link tree, keep buying e-sims for them, keep sharing the truth, keep exposing Israel for their consistent humanitarian crimes.
Remember the Palestinians, especially today, on Eid, an occasion of joy.
May Allah make it joyous for them after everything they had suffered, may they be free from the Zionist occupation and genocide
Eid Mubarak, to everyone, and to the Palestinians

I don’t think she comes off as mean or bitter here. She’s just stating the obvious: it’s too difficult to see this stuff when everyone in Gaza is starving and dying and going through absolute hell.
She’s not blaming people for posting pictures of food or restaurants they go to.
She just thinks it will make her more angry and upset, so it’s better if she doesn’t see it.
It’s understandable.
Foreign doctors who’ve been to Gaza said they deliberately avoided eating the food they brought in with them in front of their Palestinian co-workers, who were barely getting a bowl of rice a day.

Nader told me that usually he would go visit his family for Eid, but this year is different.
Nader @abdalsalam2000 is only seventeen years old, and has been working hard every day to fundraise for his family which includes his father Ahmed who has cancer and urgently needs treatment, and his one year old niece Iman. After being displaced more than nine times, they were finally able to return to their home in Northern Gaza after the ceasefire came into effect in january, only to find their childhood home and everything they had destroyed.
I’ve been helping Nader with his campaign for several months, and I want to tell you that he is a very kind, hard working young man with many dreams and things he wants to do, that the occupation has taken from him. He’s only seventeen and should be in school, but he has to spend his time trying to ask for help online instead just for the survival of his family. This is difficult work, but of course he does it because he loves his family. Him and his family deserve food, safety, and happiness. Please show him that we care about them and that we are listening and see what is happening to them
Their previous campaign was very close to reaching their goal thanks to all of Nader’s hard work reaching out to people for help and advocating for his family and spreading information about the events in Gaza as it was happening, but gofundme stopped transfers from that campaign and they had to start over.
If you have anything to give today, your donation would mean the world to them. You have a chance to help support this family through this. Losing the first gofundme was a devastating blow to their campaign, but you can help them by supporting this one to make up for the lost funds.
Even though you may feel powerless to stop this genocide, you always have the power to help, and this is a family in need of help
€11,430 raised out of 50,000! they are at 23% of their goal, let’s help Nader and his family get to 25% soon!

At a time when Eid al-Fitr comes to Muslims, which is a day of celebration, joy and happiness, when people wear their best clothes, go shopping and congratulate each other, in Gaza there is no source of joy, there are families who have been completely lost and no one can congratulate anyone, there is no joy, everything has become rubble, and at this time the shells and rockets are still raining down on us, leaving only death.

First day of Aidilfitri is over and Ima keel over over the lack of sleep, but first, an official greeting from TTB feat. Soundwave and Co, as well as one of the most complicated parts of Raya tradition in Malaysia (and Indonesia), ketupat-weaving!
Soundwave has learned the craft slowly through touch and practice, and finds it quite therapeutic! Laserbeak on the other hand figures her skills MAY lie in other aspects of Aidilfitri preparation. Here’s wishing all my Muslim friends a Happy Eid coming into its second day!
